Abstract

Un método para incrementar la produccion de una proteína en una célula de planta, que comprende transformar plástidos de dicha célula de planta con unaconstruccion que comprende lo siguiente como componentes operablemente unidos en la direccion 5 a 3de transcripcion: a) un promotor funcional en un plástidode planta; b) un sitio de enlace a ribosoma; c) una secuencia de ADN de interés; y d) una region de terminacion de transcripcion; y desarrollar células deplantas que comprenden dichos plástidos transformados, bajo condiciones en donde dicha secuencia codificadora de ADN sea transcripta en dicho plástido. Métodospara incrementar la produccion de proteína fusionando una secuencia que codifica para un gen de interés, a una proteína secundaria, para el marcado o laruptura de la proteína de interés dentro del plástido, por lo cual se logran altos niveles de expresion.
