Abstract

Se relaciona con el aislamiento de secuencias de ácidos nucleicos ubicadas 5' con respecto a la secuencia de codificacion de la gamma-tocoferol metiltransferasa (GMT) en el genoma de Brassica napus y el uso de dichas secuencias en métodos para controlar la expresion genética de polipéptidos, preferentemente GMT en plantas. Se refiere además a métodos para regular la expresion de polipéptidos usando factores de transcripcion, preferentemente factores de transcripcion con dedo de zinc, y las secuencias de ácidos nucleicos aislados ubicadas en posicion 5' con respecto al gen que codifica GMT que contiene sitios de union para los factores de transcripcion.
