Abstract

La presente invencion se relaciona con un procedimiento para la preparacion de un catalizador, que tiene un recubrimiento catalíticamente activoconstituido por materiales finamente divididos de gran superficie y componentes catalíticamente activos sobre un cuerpo de soporte inerte. Una mezcla en polvode los materiales finamente divididos previstos se impregna con una solucion de compuestos precursores de los componentes catalíticamente activos. Mediante unaapropiada combinacion de los materialesfinamente divididos con los compuestos precursores y una conveniente ejecucion de la impregnacion se garantiza unaprecipitacion altamente dispersa y la adsorcion de los componentes catalíticamente activos sobre los materiales finamente divididos. Acontinuacion se preparauna dispersion de recubrimiento acuosa empleando las mezclas en polvo impregnada, recubriéndose con ella el cuerpo de soporte, luego de lo cual se seca ycalcina el recubrimiento.
