Abstract
Producto alimenticio líquido elemental que comprende: a) un sistema proteico que comprende además; i) desde 40%p/p hasta 90%p/p de hidrolizado de proteínade soja, ii) desde 10%p/p hasta 60%p/p de caseinato parcialmente hidrolizado en el cual: iia) la fraccion del caseinato que tiene un peso molecular superior a10000 daltons pero inferior a 25000 daltons es de por lo menos 26%p/p del caseinato total presente y no es superior a 55%p/p del caseinato total presente yiib) la fraccion del caseinato que tiene un peso molecular de menos de 14000 daltons es inferior a 20%p/p del caseinato total presente, y iii) opcionalmentedesde 0%p/p hasta 10%p/p de arginina; b) una fuente de lípidos, y c) una fuente de carbohidrato; util para proveer nutricion para un paciente que tiene untrastorno de absorcion ineficaz, mediante la administracion entérica al paciente de una cantidad nutricionalmente eficaz de estos productos alimenticioslíquidos. Este producto alimenticio incluye un sistema proteico en elcual por lo menos 65%p/p de dichas proteínas tienen un peso molecular de menos de 5000daltons. El sistema proteico incluye hidrolizado de proteína de soja y caseinato parcialmente hidrolizado. Los productos preferidos incluyen además un lípidoestructurado formado por aceite marino y aceite de triglicéridos de cadena media. El gusto de los productos alimenticios elementales mejora manteniendo ladensidad calorica en un rango de 0,60 kcal/ml hasta aproximadamente 1,05 kcal/ml e incorporando suficientes cantidades de mejoradores de gusto seleccionados.Método para proveer nutricion a un paciente, proteínas apropiadas para la incorporacion a productos alimenticios líquidos elementales, y método para mejorar elgusto de los productos alimenticios líquidos elementales.
