SE DESCRIBE UN LIPIDO ESTRUCTURADO QUE CONTIENE O UN ACIDO GAMMA-LINOLENICO O UN RESIDUO DE ACIDO DIHOMOGAMMA-LINOLENICO, JUNTO CON UN RESIDUO DE ACIDO N-3 GRASO Y UN RESIDUO DE ACIDO GRASO DE CADENA MEDIA EN LA MISMA ESTRUCTURA DE GLICEROL. ESTE LIPIDO ESTRUCTURADO ESTA PARTICULARMENTE BIEN ADAPTADO PARA EL TRATAMIENTO DE ESTADOS DE ENFERMEDAD O ESTRES. LOS RESIDUOS DE ACIDO GAMMA-LINOLENICO O DIHOMOGAMMA-LINOLENICO MODIFICAN LA RUTA DE SINTESIS PROSTANOIDE, REDUCIENDO EL NIVEL DE PROSTANOIDES DE SERIE "2" Y ELEVANDO LOS NIVELES DE PROSTANOIDES DE SERIE "1" Y "3".
