Abstract

Un proceso para la preparacion de un compuesto de formula (I) en el cual R1 representa un grupo protector de amina donde un compuesto de formula(II), en la cual R1 es como se definion anteriormente, es reducido por un hidruro de metal en presencia de una sal inorgánica, en presencia tambiénde un diluyente. Paroxetina preparada a partir del compuesto de formula (I) obtenido mediante el proceso descripto como intermediario. La paroxetina es uncompuesto que posee actividad antidepresiva.
