Abstract

Un artículo de acero de herramientas para trabajos en frio pulvimetalurgico rico en vanadio, resistente al desgaste, muy denso, trabajado en caliente, conalta resistencia al impacto fabricado de polvos prealeados atomizados con nitrogeno,compu esto esencialmente por 0,60 a 0,95% de carbono; 0,10 a 2,0% demanganeso; hasta 0,10% de fosforo; hasta 0,15% de azufre; 2% de silicio máx.; 6,00 a 9,00% de cromo, hasta 3,0% de molibdeno; hasta 1,0% de tungsteno; 2,00a 3,20% de vanadio;hasta 0,15% de nitrogeno; el resto hierro e impurezas incidentales; donde el contenido máximo de carbono no excede la cantidaddado por la siguiente formula: %C(máximo) = 0,60 + 0,177 (%V - 1,0). La Figura 1 es una microfotografíaoptica que muestr a la distribucion y el tamanode los carburos ricos en vanadio del tipo MC primarios en un artículo de acero de herramientas, pulvimetalurgico, rico en vanadio, templado y revendio, de lainvencion, que contiene 2,82% de vanadio(Bar 90-80). La Figura 2 es una microfotografia optica que muestra la distribucion y el tamano de los carburosprimarios del tipo MC ricos en vanadio y del tipo M7C3 ricos en cromo en un acero de herramientas, colado en lingotes,convencional (85CrVMo) que tiene una composicion similar a la del Bar 90-80.
