Abstract
Un dispositivo para trnsmitir momento entre dos miembros coaxiales rotativos de eje, el cual presenta un numero de discos de friccion mutuamentealternados para contrarrestar la velocidad rotacional diferencial entre los dos miembros deleje . Al primer miembro de eje está acoplado un mecanismo deengranajes planetarios. Una placa de compresion está acoplada al segundo miembro de eje y es desplazable axialmente contra los discos de friccion para suacoplamiento. Entre el mecanismo deengra najes y la placa de compresion se ha dispuesto un medio de transmision en forma de rodillos para el desplazamientoaxial de la placa de compresion contra los discos de friccion a una determinada velocidad rotacional diferencial entre elmecanismo de engranajes y la placa decompresion. Un medio de freno eléctrico conectado al mecanismo de engranajes puede proveer una fuerza al medio de transmision para su desplazamiento axial.
