Abstract

En un procedimiento para descromar escorias de acero, se introduce en la escoria de acero líquida oxígeno en una proporcion suficiente como paratransformar en forma cuantitativa hierro en oxido de hierro y por lo menos un 5% por peso del oxidod e hierro contenido en la escoria en oxido férrico. Sesolidifica y tritura la escoria oxidada obtenida, después de lo cual se separan en forma magnética las partes paramagnética formadas y se separan de laescoria descromada.
