Abstract

Un elemento insertable para cortar viruta tiene una superficie receptora de viruta, una superficie de base inferior, al menos tres superficies lateralesy al menos dos bordes cortantes formados en la interseccion de la superficie superior con dossuperficies laterales del elemento insertable. Cada bordecortante tiene un extremo de ataque y un extremo de salida. La superficie lateral asociada con cada borde cortante comprende una seccion de desahogoprimaria y superior inclinada respectoa la superficie de base del elemento insertable formando un primer ángulo interior, y una segunda seccion dedesahogo secundaria inferior inclinada respecto de la superficie de base del elemento insertable formando un ángulo interior, siendo elsegundo ángulointerior agudo y diferente del primer ángulo interior a lo largo de al menos una parte del borde cortante.
