Abstract

Se propone la obtencion de paraxileno a partir del efluente (3) de un reactor de dismutacion paraselectiva del tolueno, dicho (3) es destilado paraeliminar el tolueno y el benceno, con por lo menos dos columnas de destilacion (C1)(C2), lafrac cion de xilenos (8) es sometida a por lo menos unacristalizacion (10) entre + 10 y - 30sC. El licor-madre (14) separado es tratado en presencia de tolueno, a tamices zeoliticos en lecho movil simulado(15). Se obtiene un producto refinado(16) que contiene tolueno pobre en xileno, luego destilado en una columna de destilacion (14) y el productoenriquecido en paraxileno que contienE tolueno, es reciclado a las columnas (C1,C2). Los cristales de paraxileno se purifican porlavado con tolueno ydestilacion o fusion parcial (30) seguida con el lavado con paraxileno fundido de elevada pureza.
