Abstract

Se revela una composición farmacéutica y de unidad de dosificación para el tratamiento de la leucemia en mamíferos. El compuesto particular que seutiliza, conocido previamente por su función fungicida, es un derivado de bencimidazol defórmula (I) en donde X es hidrógeno, halógeno, alquilo de menosde 7 átomos de carbono o alcoxi de menos de 7 átomos de carbono; n es un número entero positivo inferior a 4; Y es hidrógeno, cloro, nitro, metilo oetilo; y R es hidrógeno, o ungrupo alq uilo de 1 a 8 átomos de carbono y R2 es 4-tiazolilo o NHCOOR1 donde R1 es hidrocarburo alifático de menos de 7 átomosde carbono o las sales de adición ácidas o inorgánicas farmacéuticamente aceptables de éste.
