Abstract

Un implante autoroscante que comprende un cuerpo cilíndrico, en general, con una superficie externa que rosca para asegurar dicho implante a las paredesde un orificio formado con anterioridad en un hueso maxilar. El cuerpo cilíndricotien e una pluralidad de recesos longitudinales formados en lasuperficie con rosca de un extremo que se extienden longitudinalmente para formar un borde cortante en cada interrupción de la rosca por uno de dichosrecesos. Cada segmento de filetede ro sca se extiende entre un par de recesos adyacentes y disminuye su radio entre el extremo anterior y el extremo finaldel filete de rosca.
