본 단계(S200)에서, 베이스층(BSL) 상에 발광 소자(LD)가 배치되어 표시층(DL)이 형성될 수 있다. 표시층(DL) 상에 센싱 전극들(SP)이 배치되어 터치 센서층(TSP)이 형성될 수 있다.

본 단계(S400)에서, 광 차단층(LBP), 더미 광 차단층(LBP_D), 및 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)이 서로 동일한 공정 내에서 서로 동시에 혹은 실질적으로 동시에 형성될 수 있다. 일부 실시예들에서, 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)이 더미 영역(DUA) 내 형성될 수 있으며, 비교적 상측에 형성되거나, 비교적 하측에 형성될 수 있음은 물론이다.
도 24 및 도 27을 참조하면, 얼라인먼트키층을 이용하여 윈도우층을 제공하는 단계(S600)에서, 광 제어층(LCL) 상에 편광층(POL)이 배치될 수 있으며, 윈도우층(WD)이 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)을 이용하여 얼라인될 수 있다.
본 단계(S600)에서, 윈도우층(WD)의 얼라인 위치는 광 제어층(LCL)에 형성된 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)에 의해 결정될 수 있다. 실시예에 따라, 편광층(POL)이 광 제어층(LCL) 상에 배치될 수 있으므로, 편광층(POL)이 투과할 수 있는 광을 이용하여 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)의 위치가 식별될 수 있고, 이에 따라, 윈도우층(WD)이 표시 패널(DP) 및 광 제어층(LCL) 상에 얼라인될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)의 위치를 식별하기 위하여, 700nm 내지 900nm의 파장을 가지는 광이 이용될 수 있다. 예를 들어, 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)의 위치를 식별하기 위한 광은 750nm 혹은 850nm의 파장을 가질 수 있다.
본 단계(S600)에서, 윈도우층(WD)과 광 제어층(LCL) 사이에는 블랙 매트릭스층(BM) 및 접착층(ADL)이 개재될 수 있고, 윈도우층(WD)이 적합하게 얼라인되어 표시 장치(DD)의 외곽 부재가 형성될 수 있다.
앞서 살펴본 바와 같이, 윈도우층(WD) 등 광 제어층(LCL)이 제조된 이후 제공되는 층들에 대한 얼라인먼트키층(ALK)이 광 제어층(LCL)에 내재될 수 있고, 이에 따라 공정 편의성이 향상될 수 있다.
실시예에 따른 표시 장치는 전자 장치에 적용 가능하다. 실시예에서, 전자 장치(10)은 앞서 설명된 표시 장치(DD)를 포함하고 표시 장치(DD)에 더하여 추가적인 기능을 갖는 다른 모듈 또는 장치를 더 포함할 수 있다.
도 28은 실시예에 따른 전자 장치의 블록도이다. 도 28을 참조하면, 전자 장치(10)는 표시 모듈(11), 프로세서(12), 메모리(13) 및 전원 모듈(14)를 포함할 수 있다.
프로세서(12)는 중앙 처리 장치(CPU), 애플리케이션 프로세서(AP), 그래픽 처리 장치(GPU), 통신 프로세서(CP), 이미지 신호 프로세서(ISP) 및 컨트롤러 중 적어도 하나를 포함할 수 있다.
