介助装置は、基台と、基台に対して相対移動可能に設けられ、被介助者の身体の一部を支持する支持部材と、着座動作の開始から所定の中間状態までの期間における支持部材の動作速度の平均値に対して、中間状態から着座動作の終了までの期間における支持部材の動作速度を高く設定する動作制御部と、を備える。

Description

介助装置
 本発明は、介助装置に関するものである。
 特許文献1には、被介助者の起立動作および着座動作を介助する介助装置が開示されている。介助装置は、例えばベッドや車椅子に着座した被介助者に対して位置決めされて、被介助者の上半身を支持する支持部材を上昇させることによって、被介助者を座位姿勢から立位姿勢へと移行させる。介助装置の用途には、例えばベッドと車椅子との間の移乗、起立姿勢を維持して着替えや入浴などの補助が含まれ得る。

 介助装置による着座動作の介助処理において、介助装置の動作速度は、被介助者の安全性や負荷などを考慮して設定される。着座動作の所要時間を短くするために動作速度を高くすると被介助者によっては不安に感じることも想定される。また、動作速度を低くすると所要時間が長くなり、被介助者の要介助水準によっては身体的な負荷が増加することが想定される。
 本明細書は、被介助者の負担を軽減しつつ安心感のある着座動作を実行可能な介助装置を提供することを目的とする。
 本明細書は、被介助者の着座動作を介助する介助装置であって、基台と、前記基台に対して相対移動可能に設けられ、前記被介助者の身体の一部を支持する支持部材と、前記着座動作の開始から所定の中間状態までの期間における前記支持部材の動作速度の平均値に対して、前記中間状態から前記着座動作の終了までの期間における前記支持部材の動作速度を高く設定する動作制御部と、を備える介助装置を開示する。
 本明細書では、出願当初の請求項5において「請求項2または3に記載の介助装置」を「請求項2-4の何れか一項に記載の介助装置」に変更した技術的思想や、出願当初の請求項11において「請求項1-3,6-8に記載の介助装置」を「請求項1-10の何れか一項に記載の介助装置」に変更した技術的思想、出願当初の請求項12において「請求項1-3,6-8に記載の介助装置」を「請求項1-11の何れか一項に記載の介助装置」に変更した技術的思想も開示されている。
 このような構成によると、中間状態以降の支持部材の動作速度が高くなるので着座動作の所要時間を短縮でき、被介助者の負担を軽減することができる。また、中間状態までの支持部材の動作速度を抑制することで被介助者にとって安心感のある着座動作を実行することができる。

 1.介助装置1の構成
 実施形態の介助装置1の構成について、図1-図5を参考して説明する。介助装置1は、車椅子などに着座した被介助者M(図2などを参照)に対して座位姿勢から立位姿勢への起立動作の補助、および立位姿勢から座位姿勢への着座動作の補助を行う介助処理を実行する。介助装置1は、立位姿勢における被介助者Mの上半身を支持することで、例えば車椅子とベッドとの間の移乗動作を補助する。また、介助装置1は、一人の介助者が介助装置1を牽引等することにより、搭乗した被介助者Mの移動目標(例えば、車椅子やベッド、トイレ、浴室など)への移動補助に用いられる。
 なお、「立位姿勢」とは、被介助者Mの下半身が立っている姿勢を意味する。よって、本明細書において、立位姿勢には、図4に示すように、座位姿勢から臀部を上昇されて下半身が立ち、且つ上半身が前傾した被介助者Mの姿勢が含まれる。つまり、起立動作の補助とは、被介助者Mの臀部を上昇させるとともに、上半身を前傾させて介助装置1に上半身の質量を預ける体勢とする動作の補助である。また、着座動作の補助とは、被介助者Mの臀部の位置を下降させる動作の補助である。
 1-1.基台10
 介助装置1は、図1に示すように、基台10を備える。より詳細には、基台10は、本体をなす本体フレーム11を有する。本体フレーム11は、上方視において∪字状に形成された金属製のパイプ部材と、パイプ部材のうち左右両側において前後方向に延びる部位を連結する複数の補助パイプとにより構成される。本体フレーム11は、支持ブラケット12を介して前方キャスタ15を支持する。本体フレーム11は、中間キャスタ16および後方キャスタ17を支持する。支持ブラケット12は、本体フレーム11に固定され、前方キャスタ15および駆動装置20のアーム30を支持する。
 基台10は、フットプレート13を備える。フットプレート13は、被介助者Mの両足が載置される。フットプレート13の上面には、搭乗する被介助者Mの足の滑り止め用として、複数の突起部が規則的に並んで設けられる。なお、介助装置1は、被介助者Mの介助水準によってはフットプレート13を有しない態様を採用し得る。基台10は、フットプレート13の上面の前側寄りに上向きに設けられたアクチュエータ支持部14を有する。アクチュエータ支持部14は、後述するアクチュエータ40の下端を回転可能に支持する。
 前方キャスタ15、中間キャスタ16、および後方キャスタ17は、本体フレーム11の前後方向に異なる3位置において左右方向に一対ずつ設けられる。一対の前方キャスタ15、一対の中間キャスタ16、および一対の後方キャスタ17は、移動方向を転換する転舵機能を有する。これにより、介助装置1は、前後方向の移動および方向転換だけでなく、横移動(真横への移動)や超信地旋回(その場旋回)が可能に構成される。
 1-2.駆動装置20およびカバー部材25
 介助装置1は、図2に示すように、支持部材60を駆動する駆動装置20を備える。駆動装置20は、アーム30を備える。アーム30は、基台10の支持ブラケット12に、水平な中心軸30A周りに旋回可能に設けられる。アーム30は、介助装置1の初期状態(図2を参照)において、上方に延伸するアーム前部31と、アーム前部31の上端部から上方後側に延伸するアーム上部32とを有し、全体形状としてはL字状に形成される。
 アーム30は、後述する支持部材60が取り付けられるブラケット33を有する。ブラケット33は、アーム上部32の後端部において、水平な回転軸30B周りに回転可能に設けられる。このように、アーム30は、基台10に前後方向に揺動可能に設けられ、支持部材60を前後方向に揺動可能に支持する。
 駆動装置20は、アクチュエータ40を備える。アクチュエータ40は、介助処理において、アーム30を旋回させるとともに支持部材60をアーム30に対して傾動させる。本実施形態において、アクチュエータ40は、伸縮可能なアクチュエータであり、伸縮することにより支持部材60を基台10に対して相対移動させる。詳細には、アクチュエータ40は、本体部41、可動部42、およびモータ43を有する。本体部41は、下側端部を基台10のアクチュエータ支持部14に旋回可能に支持される。本体部41は、上側端部が開口した円筒状に形成される。
 アクチュエータ40の可動部42は、本体部41より小径の柱状に形成され、本体部41の内周側に嵌入している。可動部42は、上側端部を後述するリンク機構50に回転可能に取り付けられる。モータ43は、本体部41の下部の前側に取り付けられる。モータ43は、後述する制御装置80により給電状態を制御され、本体部41に対して可動部42を延伸方向に移動させる。なお、アクチュエータ40は、モータ43に代えて油圧や空気圧を用いた圧力駆動源などの別種の駆動源を用いることができる。
 駆動装置20は、リンク機構50を備える。リンク機構50は、アクチュエータ40の伸縮動作の一部をアーム上部32に対するブラケット33の回転動作に変換する。リンク機構50は、第一リンク部材51、第二リンク部材52、および規制部材53を有する。第一リンク部材51は、アーム上部32に設けられた第一支持軸51A周りに回転可能に支持される。第一リンク部材51は、図2に示す第一支持軸51Aよりも前方側において、アクチュエータ40の可動部42の上端部に、連結軸51B周りに回転可能に接続される。
 また、第一リンク部材51には、図2に示す第一支持軸51Aよりも後方側の端部において、左右方向に突出するように形成され、第二リンク部材52と係合する係合ピン511が設けられる。第二リンク部材52は、アーム上部32に設けられた第二支持軸52A周りに回転可能に支持される。本実施形態において、第二支持軸52Aは、ブラケット33の回転軸30Bと同軸である。第二リンク部材52の前方側端部は、第一リンク部材51の係合ピン511の下方に位置する。第二リンク部材52の後方側端部は、ブラケット33に固定される。
 第一リンク部材51が第一支持軸51Aを中心に反時計回りに回転すると、第二リンク部材52は、係合ピン511により前方側端部が押し下げられるように時計回りに回転する。このとき、第二リンク部材52およびブラケット33は、アーム上部32に対して第二支持軸52A(回転軸30B)を中心に一体的に回転する。規制部材53は、第一リンク部材51の上方であって、回転する第一リンク部材51に当接可能な位置でアーム30に固定される。なお、図1に示す状態において、第一リンク部材51と規制部材53との間には、隙間が形成される。
 駆動装置20は、アーム30の少なくとも後部をカバーするカバー部材25を備える。カバー部材25は、本実施形態において、アーム30の後部、側部、および前部の一部をカバーする。カバー部材25は、樹脂成形などによって製造される。
 1-3.支持部材60およびハンドル65
 介助装置1は、図1-図4に示すように、支持部材60を備える。支持部材60は、被介助者Mの身体の一部としての上半身を支持する。支持部材60は、ブラケット33に取り付けられ、駆動装置20のアーム30に対して水平方向の回転軸30B(第二支持軸52A)を中心に回転可能に支持される。支持部材60は、上記のような構成によって、基台10に対して上下方向に相対移動可能に設けられ、本実施形態において前後方向に相対移動可能に設けられる。
 支持部材60は、胴体支持部61、一対の脇支持部62、およびベースプレート63を備える。胴体支持部61は、被介助者Mの胴体形状に近い面状に形成される。胴体支持部61は、柔軟な変形が可能な材料で形成されている。胴体支持部61の支持面は、被介助者Mの上半身のうち胴体の前面に面接触して胴体を前方から支持する。より詳細には、胴体支持部61の支持面は、被介助者Mにおける胸部Mbから腹部Maに亘る範囲を支持する。
 一対の脇支持部62は、胴体支持部61の左右に設けられ、被介助者Mの脇下を支持する。脇支持部62は、胴体支持部61に対して揺動可能に支持される。脇支持部62は、棒状部材により、L字状に形成されている。脇支持部62の表面は、柔軟な変形が可能な材料により覆われている。
 ベースプレート63は、金属や樹脂などの材料により形成される。ベースプレート63は、ブラケット33とともにアーム上部32に対して、第二リンク部材52が係合ピン511から離間する方向に自由傾動可能に支持されている。これにより、支持部材60は、アーム30に対して、図2に示す状態から回転軸30B(第二支持軸52A)を中心に時計回りに所定角度範囲を傾動可能に構成されている。上記の「自由傾動」とは、アクチュエータなどによって駆動される傾動ではなく、手動によって動かすことが可能な傾動を意味する。
 介助装置1は、ハンドル65を備える。ハンドル65は、概ね四角形の枠形状に形成されている。ハンドル65は、ブラケット33の後端部から前上方向に延びるように形成されている。ハンドル65の側方部分は、被介助者Mの両手によって把持される。さらに、ハンドル65の側方部分および前方部分は、介助者によって介助装置1を移動させるために把持される。
 1-4.下腿支持装置70
 介助装置1は、図1に示すように、下腿支持装置70を備える。下腿支持装置70は、基台10に設けられ、起立動作および着座動作を補助される被介助者Mの膝や脛が当接する部材である下腿支持パッド73を有する。下腿支持装置70は、被介助者Mの膝や脛の位置を定めることにより、被介助者Mの起立動作や着座動作の安定化を図るために設けられる。下腿支持パッド73は、左右方向に延在するクッション材である緩衝部材としての下腿支持パッド73を有する。下腿支持パッド73は、被介助者Mの体格および着座姿勢に適合するように、前後方向の位置を調整される。
 1-5.制御装置80およびコントローラ90
 介助装置1は、図2および図5に示すように、介助処理を実行する制御装置80を備える。制御装置80は、駆動装置20などの動作を制御する。制御装置80は、記憶部81、動作制御部82、および状態検出部83を備える。記憶部81は、フラッシュメモリなどにより構成される。記憶部81には、介助装置1による介助処理を実行する際に用いられる制御プログラムや、動作履歴が記録された動作履歴データなどが記憶される。
 動作制御部82は、駆動装置20の動作を制御し、被介助者Mを支持する支持部材60を移動させる。制御装置80は、図略の電源スイッチへの操作により電源投入されると、駆動装置20を動作可能とするスタンバイ処理を実行する。スタンバイ処理が実行されると、介助装置1は、コントローラ90への操作を受け付け可能な状態となる。
 上記のコントローラ90は、被介助者Mまたは介助者の操作を受け付ける操作装置である。コントローラ90は、例えば、図1に示すように、各種動作に対応した複数のボタン(本実施形態において、起立ボタン91および着座ボタン92)を有する。起立ボタン91は、支持部材60の上方移動、即ち起立動作の補助の要求を受け付けるボタンである。着座ボタン92は、支持部材60の下方移動、即ち着座動作の補助の要求を受け付けるボタンである。
 動作制御部82は、例えばコントローラ90の起立ボタン91が押下されている期間において、起立動作の補助要求があるとして起立動作の介助処理を実行する。また、動作制御部82は、着座ボタン92に押下されている期間において、着座動作の補助要求があるとして着座動作の介助処理を実行する。なお、介助装置1は、介助者の足操作を受け付けるペダルや、介助者等の音声を入力するマイクを介して補助要求を受け付けてもよい。
 状態検出部83は、駆動装置20の動作状態に基づいて、被介助者Mや介助装置1の状態を検出する。駆動装置20の動作状態は、動作検出装置95により検出される。動作検出装置95は、アクチュエータ40の伸縮状態を測定したり、被介助者Mを支持している支持部材60が被介助者Mから受ける荷重を測定したりすることで検出処理を実行する。アクチュエータ40の伸縮状態は、アクチュエータ40が伸縮可能なストロークのうち何%にあるかを示す。また、荷重は、例えば測定対象の歪み量を測定する歪みゲージによって、支持部材60が被介助者Mから荷重を受けたときに生じる歪み量により測定される。
 状態検出部83は、動作検出装置95による測定結果に基づいて、介助処理の実行中における被介助者Mの着座を検出することができる。ここで、着座動作の介助処理を実行した場合に検出される「被介助者Mの着座」とは、介助処理の実行により被介助者Mが座位姿勢に移行した完了状態、および介助処理の実行により被介助者Mの臀部Mtが座面Sfに接触してから完了状態までの移行状態の少なくとも一方を被介助者Mの着座とする。
 上記の完了状態は、被介助者Mの質量が主として座面Sfおよびフットプレート13により支持された状態であって、換言すると被介助者Mが支持部材60から離脱可能な状態である。また、移行状態は、完了状態には至っていないが被介助者Mの臀部Mtが座面Sfに接触した状態であり、被介助者Mの質量の少なくとも一部が座面Sfにより支持された状態である。
 本実施形態において、状態検出部83は、動作検出装置95により検出される駆動装置20の動作状態に基づいて、支持部材60の高さや角度、被介助者Mをどの程度支持しているのか、起立補助や着座補助を行う介助処理の進行度合いを検出できる。状態検出部83による検出結果は、動作制御部82の制御に用いられる。
 2.介助装置1による起立動作の介助処理
 介助装置1による起立動作を補助する介助処理について、図1-図4を参照して説明する。介助装置1を用いた介助に際して、被介助者Mの前側に初期状態の介助装置1がセットされる。介助装置1の初期状態とは、図1のように支持部材60が下降して、被介助者Mが搭乗可能な状態である。支持部材60の上下方向位置は、起立ボタン91または着座ボタン92の押下によってある程度の調整が可能である。
 また、介助装置1の初期状態において、アクチュエータ40は、伸縮可能なストローク(全体の可動領域)のうち概ね短縮した状態にある。このとき、図2に示すように、第一リンク部材51と規制部材53との間には、隙間が形成されている。被介助者Mは、前側に介助装置1をセットされると、下腿部Mgを支持部材60の下方側に進入させて、両脚をフットプレート13に載置する。次に、被介助者Mは、胴体を前傾させて胴体支持部61に胸部Mbを面接触させるとともに、両方の脇下が脇支持部62に支持された状態とする。上記の被介助者Mの一連の動作は、介助者が介助してもよい。
 上記のように被介助者Mが介助装置1に搭乗する初期姿勢では、被介助者Mの臀部Mtが座面Sfに着いている。したがって、初期姿勢の被介助者Mは、体重が臀部Mtおよび両脚で支えられている姿勢にある。続いて、介助者が起立ボタン91を押下すると、介助装置1は、起立動作の介助処理を実行する。具体的には、動作制御部82は、アクチュエータ40が伸張するように駆動させる。これにより、第一リンク部材51は、図3の矢印にて示すように、第一支持軸51Aを中心に反時計回りに回転する。第一リンク部材51の回転により、係合ピン511は、第二リンク部材52の前端部を押し下げる。
 これにより、第二リンク部材52およびブラケット33は、第二支持軸52A(回転軸30B)を中心に時計回りに一体的に回転する。結果として、ブラケット33に取り付けられた支持部材60は、被介助者Mの上半身を支持した状態で、前方に傾動する。この動作は、アクチュエータ40が所定長さまで伸張し、第一リンク部材51が規制部材53に接触するまで継続される。これにより、被介助者Mは、図3に示すように、上半身が前傾した中間姿勢に移行される。
 また、図3において、第一リンク部材51は、規制部材53と接触し、第一支持軸51Aを中心とした回転が規制される。つまり、第一リンク部材51、第二リンク部材52、および支持部材60は、アーム30に対する相対移動が規制され、移行の動作においてアーム30と一体的に移動する。その後に、動作制御部82は、アクチュエータ40がさらに伸張するように駆動する。これにより、アーム30は、第一リンク部材51および規制部材53を介して駆動力を受けて、図4の矢印にて示すように、中心軸30Aを中心に時計回りに回転する。
 アーム30の回転に伴って、アクチュエータ40は、基台10に対して前方に傾動する。被介助者Mの上半身を支持する支持部材60は、アーム30およびリンク機構50と一体的に中心軸30A周りに回転する。これにより、支持部材60は、前方および上方へと移動し、被介助者Mの上半身をさらに前傾させながら上昇させる。結果として、被介助者Mは、臀部Mtが座面Sfから大きく離間し、両脚が伸びた立位姿勢に移行される。なお、動作制御部82は、上記の動作を介助者により起立ボタン91が押下され、且つ支持部材60が可動範囲内にある期間において実行する。
 3.介助装置1による着座動作の介助処理
 3-1.着座動作の概要
 介助装置1による着座動作を補助する介助処理について、図2-図4を参照して説明する。ここで、着座動作の介助処理における介助装置1の機械的動作は、起立動作の介助処理の逆順に相当する。そのため、以下では、介助装置1の機械的動作については簡略して説明する。介助装置1に立位姿勢の被介助者Mが搭乗した状態において(図4を参照)、介助者により着座ボタン92が押下されると、動作制御部82は、着座動作の介助処理を開始する。
 そして、アクチュエータ40が所定長さまで短縮されるまでは、支持部材60は、アーム30およびリンク機構50と一体的に中心軸30Aを中心に反時計回りに回転する。これにより、被介助者Mは、立位姿勢から中間姿勢へと移行される(図3を参照)。その後に、アクチュエータ40がさらに短縮すると第一リンク部材51が規制部材53から離間し、第一支持軸51Aを中心に時計回りに回転する。これに伴い、第二リンク部材52および支持部材60の移動が第二支持軸52A(回転軸30B)を中心に反時計回りに回転する。
 これにより、被介助者Mの臀部Mtは、徐々に下降して座面Sfに接近し、やがて座面Sfに接触する。さらに、アクチュエータ40が短縮されると、被介助者Mは、臀部Mtが座面Sfにより支えられた状態となり、支持部材60の後方への傾動により上半身がおこされて、支持部材60から離間可能な座位姿勢へと移行される(図2を参照)。なお、動作制御部82は、上記の動作を介助者により着座ボタン92が押下されて、且つ支持部材60が可動範囲内にある期間において着座動作の介助処理を実行する。
 このように、介助装置による着座動作の介助処理には、被介助者Mの臀部Mtが座面Sfに着いた後に、前傾していた被介助者Mの上半身を起こすために支持部材60を後方に傾動させる動作や、一対の脇支持部62から両腕を抜けるようにして被介助者Mが支持部材60から離脱可能な状態まで支持部材60を移動させる動作が含まれる。また、動作制御部82は、介助者の操作に加えて、後述する状態検出部83による検出結果に応じて、支持部材60の移動を停止したり、減速したりする制御態様を採用することができる。
 3-2.着座動作における支持部材60の動作速度の制御
 介助装置1による着座動作の介助処理において、介助装置1の動作速度は、被介助者Mの安全性や負荷などを考慮して設定される。着座動作の所要時間を短くするために動作速度を高くすると被介助者によっては不安に感じることも想定される。また、動作速度を低くすると所要時間が長くなり、被介助者Mの要介助水準によっては身体的な負荷が増加することが想定される。そこで、本実施形態の介助装置1は、被介助者Mの負担を軽減しつつ安心感のある着座動作を実行可能な構成を採用する。
 ここで、着座動作の介助処理は、図6に示すように、着座ボタン92が押下されてONとなった着座動作の開始時刻T1から、着座ボタン92がOFFとなった着座動作の終了時刻T2までの期間Psにおいて実行されるものとする。そして、動作制御部82は、着座動作の開始から所定の中間状態までの期間(第一期間Ps1)における支持部材60の動作速度の平均値VAに対して、中間状態から着座動作の終了までの期間(第二期間Ps2)における支持部材60の動作速度を高く設定する。
 これにより、介助装置1は、着座動作の所要時間を短縮して被介助者の負担を軽減するとともに、被介助者にとって安心感のある着座動作の実行を可能としている。上記の「中間状態」および「支持部材60の動作速度」については種々の態様を適用することができる。以下、種々の態様ごとに「中間状態」と「支持部材60の動作速度」について説明する。
 3-2-1.動作速度の第一制御態様
 第一制御態様において、「中間状態」は、着座動作においてアクチュエータ40が規定長さLsに達した状態である。アクチュエータ40の長さ(図6の「ACT長さ」)は、着座動作の開始時刻T1から徐々に短くなり、中間状態である時刻T11において規定長さLsとなる。さらに、アクチュエータ40の長さは、着座動作の終了時刻T2において最小となる。ここで、上記の「規定長さLs」は、一例として、アクチュエータ40が伸縮可能なストロークKaのうち35%から45%の間に設定される。
 本実施形態において、「規定長さLs」は、図3に示すように、規制部材53から第一リンク部材51が離間するとき、換言すると着座動作においてアーム30の後方への揺動が停止するときに対応するアクチュエータ40の長さに相当する。動作制御部82は、アクチュエータ40の長さを、状態検出部83から取得し、またはアクチュエータ40の動作履歴から算出する。
 より詳細には、図6の「支持部材の高さ」に示すように、第一期間Ps1において、支持部材60は初期高さH1から徐々に下降し、中間状態である時刻T11において高さH2に到達する。この第一期間Ps1において、支持部材60の角度は僅かに後方に回転する(図6の「支持部材の角度」で示す角度θ1から角度θ2)。そして、支持部材60の脇支持部62は、中間状態から着座動作の終了までの第二期間Ps2において、後方に回転する(図6の「支持部材の角度」で示す角度θ2から角度θ3)。この第二期間Ps2において、支持部材60の高さは、僅かに下降する(図6の「支持部材の高さ」で示す高さH2から高さH3)。
 動作速度の第一制御態様において、支持部材60の動作速度Vr1,Vr2は、アクチュエータ40が縮む動作の速度(図6の「ACT動作速度」)である。詳細には、動作制御部82は、第一期間Ps1における動作速度Vr1の平均値VAに対して、第二期間Ps2における支持部材60の動作速度Vr2を高く設定する。これにより、アクチュエータの長さ(図6の「ACT長さ」)は、第一期間Ps1よりも第二期間Ps2の方が早く縮むことになる。これにより、図3に示す被介助者Mの姿勢から、図2に示す座位姿勢へと従来よりも早期に移行させることができる。
 なお、ここでは説明を簡易にするために第一期間Ps1におけるアクチュエータ40が縮む動作速度Vr1が一定であり、その平均値VAも動作速度Vr1に概ね等しいものとした。これに対して、アクチュエータ40が縮む動作速度Vr1は、例えば徐々にまたは段階的に増速させるように変動させてもよい。第一期間Ps1における何れの動作速度Vr1の制御においてもその平均値VAより第二期間Ps2の動作速度Vr2が高くなるように設定される。
 3-2-2.動作速度の第二制御態様
 ここで、動作制御部82は、着座動作において、下降ステップRwと、後転ステップRvとを実行する。下降ステップRwは、被介助者Mの臀部Mtを座面Sfに接近させるように支持部材60を下降させるステップであり、図4の立位姿勢から図3の中間姿勢へ移行させる第一期間Ps1の動作に相当する。後転ステップRvは、臀部Mtが座面Sfに接触した被介助者Mの上半身を起立させるように支持部材60を後方に回転させるステップであり、図3の中間姿勢から図2の座位姿勢に移行させる第二期間Ps2の動作に相当する。
 第二制御態様において、「中間状態」は、下降ステップRwにおいて支持部材60が所定高さHp(図6の「支持部材の高さ」を参照)まで下降した状態、または下降ステップRwの終了状態(時刻T11の状態)としてもよい。上記の「所定高さHp」は、任意に設定することができ、例えばアクチュエータ40が規定長さLsにあるときの支持部材60の高さに設定された場合に上記の高さH2と等しい値となる。
 また、支持部材60の高さは、支持部材60に設定された基準位置Cpの高さとしてもよい。例えば、基準位置Cpは、支持部材60のうち胸部Mbを支持する部位に設定される(図2-図4を参照)。支持部材60の高さは、基台10に対するアーム30およびブラケット33の角度や、アクチュエータ40の長さに基づいて算出される。
 また、「中間状態」は、上記のように支持部材60の高さにより設定する他に、着座動作において、被介助者Mの臀部Mtが座面Sfに接触してから所定時間Tpが経過した状態(被介助者Mの着座における移行状態になったとき、または移行状態の途中)としてもよい。ここで、「被介助者Mの臀部Mtが座面Sfに接触したとき」は、支持部材60の高さから推定してもよいし、状態検出部83により検出された介助装置1の状態から推定してもよい。「所定時間Tp」は、被介助者Mの質量を座面Sfがある程度支持するようになるまでの期間を想定して適宜設定される。
 また、「中間状態」は、支持部材60が被介助者Mから受ける荷重Dmが閾値Thまで低下した状態としてもよい。具体的には、動作制御部82は、動作検出装置95により測定される支持部材60が被介助者Mから受ける荷重Dmを取得し、この荷重Dmが閾値Thに達したときに「中間状態」に移行したものとする。
 動作速度の第二制御態様において、支持部材60の動作速度Vr1,Vr2は、支持部材60に設定された基準位置Cpの移動速度である。つまり、着座動作の第一期間Ps1において、基準位置Cpが図4から図3に示す位置まで移動する動作速度Vr1の平均値VAよりも、基準位置Cpが図3から図2に示す位置まで移動する動作速度Vr2が高くなるように設定される。
 4.実施形態の構成による効果
 動作速度の第一制御態様および第二制御態様において例示したように、着座動作における中間状態以降の動作速度を高めることにより、着座動作の所要時間を短縮することができる。これにより、被介助者Mの負担を軽減することができる。また、中間状態までの支持部材60の動作速度Vr1を抑制することで被介助者Mにとって安心感のある着座動作を実行することができる。
 5.実施形態の変形態様
 実施形態において、中間状態以降の第二期間Ps2における動作速度Vr2は、一定の速度に設定される。これに対して、動作制御部82は、中間状態から着座動作の終了までの第二期間Ps2における支持部材60の動作速度Vr2を徐々に増速させてもよい。動作速度Vr2の増速の度合いは、予め設定された値としてもよいし、また介助装置1の状態、例えば支持部材60が被介助者Mから受ける荷重Dmが小さくなるほど高めるようにしてもよい。
 実施形態において、介助装置1は、1つのアクチュエータ40とリンク機構50を備える構成とした。これに対して、介助装置1は、多関節のアーム30と複数のアクチュエータを備える構成、またはアーム30を基台に対して昇降させる昇降装置を備える構成としてもよい。何れの構成においても、介助装置1は、着座動作の介助処理において、中間状態以降の動作速度Vr2を、中間状態までの動作速度Vr1の平均値VAに対して高くなるように設定するように制御する。これにより、実施形態と同様の効果を奏する。

Claims (14)

  1.  被介助者の着座動作を介助する介助装置であって、
     基台と、
     前記基台に対して相対移動可能に設けられ、前記被介助者の身体の一部を支持する支持部材と、
     前記着座動作の開始から所定の中間状態までの期間における前記支持部材の動作速度の平均値に対して、前記中間状態から前記着座動作の終了までの期間における前記支持部材の動作速度を高く設定する動作制御部と、
     を備える介助装置。
  2.  前記支持部材は、前記被介助者の脇下を支持する脇支持部を有する、請求項1に記載の介助装置。
  3.  前記脇支持部は、前記中間状態から前記着座動作の終了までの期間において後方に回転する、請求項2に記載の介助装置。
  4.  伸縮することにより前記支持部材を前記基台に対して相対移動させるアクチュエータをさらに備え、
     前記中間状態は、前記着座動作において前記アクチュエータが規定長さに達した状態である、請求項1-3の何れか一項に記載の介助装置。
  5.  前記基台に前後方向に揺動可能に設けられ、前記支持部材を前後方向に揺動可能に支持するアームと、
     前記着座動作において、前記アクチュエータが前記規定長さまで縮む動作を前記アームの後方への揺動に変換し、前記アクチュエータが前記規定長さから縮む動作を前記支持部材の後方への揺動に変換するリンク機構と、
     をさらに備える、請求項4に記載の介助装置。
  6.  前記規定長さは、前記アクチュエータが伸縮可能なストロークのうち35%から45%の間に設定される、請求項4に記載の介助装置。
  7.  前記動作速度は、前記アクチュエータが縮む動作の速度である、請求項4に記載の介助装置。
  8.  前記動作制御部は、前記着座動作において、前記被介助者の臀部を座面に接近させるように前記支持部材を下降させる下降ステップと、前記臀部が前記座面に接触した前記被介助者の上半身を起立させるように前記支持部材を後方に回転させる後転ステップと、を実行する、請求項1-3の何れか一項に記載の介助装置。
  9.  前記中間状態は、前記下降ステップにおいて前記支持部材が所定高さまで下降した状態、または前記下降ステップの終了状態である、請求項8に記載の介助装置。
  10.  前記中間状態は、前記着座動作において、前記被介助者の前記臀部が前記座面に接触してから所定時間が経過した状態、または前記支持部材が前記被介助者から受ける荷重が閾値まで低下した状態である、請求項8に記載の介助装置。
  11.  前記動作速度は、前記支持部材に設定された基準位置の移動速度である、請求項8に記載の介助装置。
  12.  前記支持部材は、前記被介助者の胸部および腹部を支持し、
     前記基準位置は、前記支持部材のうち前記胸部を支持する部位に設定される、請求項11に記載の介助装置。
  13.  前記動作制御部は、前記中間状態から前記着座動作の終了までの前記期間における前記支持部材の動作速度を徐々に増速させる、請求項1-3の何れか一項に記載の介助装置。
  14.  前記介助装置は、前記被介助者の起立動作および前記着座動作を含む各種動作に対応した複数のボタンを有する操作装置をさらに備え、
     前記動作制御部は、前記複数のボタンの一つが押された期間において当該ボタンに対応した動作を実行する、請求項1-3の何れか一項に記載の介助装置。
