- FIG. 9 is a diagram showing the configuration of the rotation amount adjustment unit provided in the beatless control unit according to the first embodiment.
- the rotation amount adjustment unit 205 according to the first embodiment includes a low-pass filter (LPF) 308, a gain calculation unit 307, and an adder 309.
- LPF low-pass filter
- the low-pass filter 308 performs a low-pass filter operation on the power factor angle ⁇ , which is an example of power factor information, to remove high-frequency components and sends the power factor angle ⁇ from which the high-frequency components have been removed to the gain calculation unit 307.
- the gain calculation unit 307 multiplies the power factor angle ⁇ sent from the low-pass filter 308 by a coefficient and sends the result to the adder 309.
- the adder 309 determines the rotation amount ⁇ R by adding a pre-stored default value (e.g., 90 degrees) to the power factor angle ⁇ sent from the gain calculation unit 307.
- the adder 309 outputs the rotation amount ⁇ R to the rotation calculation unit 202. This allows the beatless control unit 18 to reflect the power factor information in the beatless control.
- the default value may be determined for any reason.
- the default value may be an empirical value (fixed value) estimated from past beatless control.
- FIG. 10 is a diagram showing the operation pattern of the deviation vector when the beatless control unit according to the first embodiment executes beatless control when the rotation amount is in an optimal state.
- FIG. 11 is a diagram showing the operation pattern of the deviation vector when the beatless control unit according to the first embodiment executes beatless control when the rotation amount is in a range of less than ⁇ 90 degrees from the optimal value.
- FIG. 12 is a diagram showing the operation pattern of the deviation vector when the beatless control unit according to the first embodiment executes beatless control when the rotation amount is away from the optimal value by more than ⁇ 90 degrees.
- the absolute value of the difference between the amount of rotation ⁇ R and the optimal value is less than 90 degrees.
- the absolute value of the difference between the amount of rotation ⁇ R and the optimal value is greater than 90 degrees.
- FIGS. 10 to 12 show the deviation vector locus Et, which is the movement pattern of the deviation vector E (not shown) composed of e cos and e sin when the beatless control unit 18 executes beatless control.
- the deviation vector E is a vector directed from the origin toward (e cos , e sin ).
- the beatless control unit 18 controls (e cos , e sin ) so that it approaches the origin, i.e., so that the absolute value of the deviation vector E decreases.
- the deviation vector locus Et has a starting point of "Start” and an end point of "Goal.”
- the movement pattern of the deviation vector E under beatless control (the deviation vector locus Et corresponding to the behavior of the control unit 400) can be roughly classified into four types depending on the rotation amount ⁇ R.
- the first operation pattern shown in Fig. 10 is when the rotation amount ⁇ R is in an optimal state.
- the beatless control unit 18 starts beatless control in this state, the deviation vector E, which is composed of e cos and e sin , approaches the origin in the shortest distance due to the action of integral control.
- 11 is a second operation pattern when the rotation amount ⁇ R is within a range of less than ⁇ 90 degrees from the optimum value.
- the beatless control unit 18 starts beatless control, the deviation vector E approaches the origin while drawing a spiral.
- the fourth operation pattern occurs when the rotation amount ⁇ R is in the worst state (180 degrees away from the optimum value). If the beatless control unit 18 starts beatless control at this time, the deviation vector E moves away from the origin in a straight line.
- the pulsation suppression unit 104 can control the deviations e cos and e sin to zero if an appropriate rotation amount ⁇ R is given. However, if the rotation amount ⁇ R is inappropriate, the deviations e cos and e sin will diverge. For this reason, the beatless control unit 18 according to the first embodiment corrects the rotation amount ⁇ R using power factor information. This allows the drive unit 4 to operate in a wider range of stable operation than conventional beatless control that does not use power factor information.
- the target value r * of the pulsation component is set to zero, so if the deviations e cos and e sin become zero, the cosine component y cos and sin component y sin of the pulsation of the norm or weighted norm of the dq axis current also become zero.
- the integral control units 203A and 203B are not provided within the beatless control unit 18 (for example, if the beatless control unit 18 performs P control), the beatless control unit 18 cannot reduce the deviations e cos and e sin to zero. However, even in this case, the possibility of improving the effect of beatless control can be increased by changing the manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase using power factor information.
- the reason why the first embodiment aims to minimize the pulsation of the norm or weighted norm is because minimization is the best state that can be achieved in the voltage saturation region of the inverter voltage (inverter overmodulation region).
- VDC DC bus voltage
- pulsation occurs in both the d-axis and q-axis currents.
- both the amplitude and phase of the voltage must be manipulated. This is self-evident from the perspective of control freedom.
- the control unit 400 can control only one parameter. Therefore, under such circumstances, the control unit 400 aims to minimize the pulsation of the norm or weighted norm by controlling the voltage phase.
- control unit 400 minimizes the pulsation of an arbitrary norm or weighted norm by appropriately manipulating the voltage phase.
- control divergence may occur as described in FIG. 12. Therefore, the control unit 400 of the first embodiment determines the optimum manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase taking into account the influence of the motor power factor.
- the control unit 400 can accurately suppress pulsation in the phase current due to beat vibration under various operating conditions. Note that the effectiveness of beatless control varies depending on the type of norm pulsation that is reduced. By suppressing pulsation in the phase current, the control unit 400 can prevent, for example, a deterioration in motor efficiency due to an increase in the current peak value, a decrease in the maximum output of the AC motor 1 due to overcurrent protection restrictions, and an increase in vibration and noise from the AC motor 1.
- the control unit 400 acquires, from the current detection unit 12, the phase current (phase current vector I uvw ) flowing through the AC motor 1 detected by the current detection unit 12 (step S10).

- the voltage command determiner 15 calculates a voltage command for rotating the AC motor 1 at a desired speed and torque (step S50). Specifically, the voltage command determiner 15 calculates a dq-axis voltage command vector V * dq from the dq-axis current vector Idq so that the speed command ⁇ * e matches the estimated angular velocity ⁇ e .
- the beatless control unit 18 executes beatless control calculation (step S60). As a result, the beatless control unit 18 determines the manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase. Specifically, the beatless control unit 18 extracts the component of the disturbance frequency fdis contained in the dq-axis current vector Idq , and determines the manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase that reduces the extracted component.
- the coordinate converter 16 converts the voltage command into a value on the three-phase coordinate system (step S70). Specifically, the coordinate converter 16 converts the dq-axis voltage command vector V * dq into a three-phase voltage command vector V * uvw using a phase angle ⁇ eb, which is the sum of the voltage phase manipulated variable ⁇ b and the estimated magnetic pole position ⁇ e .
- the modulator 13 executes a modulation calculation (step S80). Specifically, the modulator 13 determines a PWM signal based on the DC bus voltage V DC and the three-phase voltage command vector V * uvw . The modulator 13 provides the PWM signal to the inverter 11.

- the weighting coefficient setting unit 102 sets the pre-stored weighting coefficients w1 and w2 in the norm calculation unit 101 (step S110).
- the norm calculation unit 101 executes a norm calculation (step S120). That is, the norm calculation unit 101 calculates the norm or weighted norm of the d-axis and q-axis current vector Idq .
- the pulsation extraction unit 103 executes a pulsation extraction calculation of the norm or weighted norm calculated by the norm calculation unit 101 (step S130). That is, the pulsation extraction unit 103 extracts the pulsation components included in the norm or weighted norm based on the component of the disturbance frequency fdis and the harmonic components that are integer multiples of the disturbance frequency fdis . The pulsation extraction unit 103 outputs the sin component and cos component of the pulsation of the norm as ysin and ycos , respectively, to the pulsation suppression unit 104.
- the power factor information calculation unit 107 calculates power factor information (step S140). Specifically, the power factor information calculation unit 107 calculates the power factor information from the dq-axis voltage command vector V * dq and the dq-axis current vector Idq .
- the pulsation suppression unit 104 executes a pulsation suppression calculation (step S150). That is, the pulsation suppression unit 104 determines (automatically searches) a manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase that reduces the pulsation component.

- the rotation amount adjuster 205 adjusts the rotation amount ⁇ R based on the power factor information (step S220).
- the rotation amount adjuster 205 sets the adjusted rotation amount ⁇ R in the rotation calculation unit 202.
- the rotation calculation unit 202 performs a vector rotation calculation using the rotation amount ⁇ R (step S230). Specifically, the rotation calculation unit 202 applies e cos , e sin , and the rotation amount ⁇ R to equation (4) to calculate e Rcos , which is a cosine component after the rotation calculation, and e Rsin, which is a sin component after the rotation calculation.
- the integral control units 203A and 203B execute integral control calculations (step S240). Specifically, the integral control unit 203A integrates e Rcos after the rotation calculation to determine x cos , which is the cos component of the output signal of the beatless control, and the integral control unit 203B integrates e Rsin after the rotation calculation to determine x sin , which is the sin component of the output signal of the beatless control.
- the AC restoration unit 204 executes AC restoration calculation (step S250). Specifically, the AC restoration unit 204 calculates the manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase by applying x cos , x sin , and f dis to equations (5) to (7).
- the drive unit 4 drives the AC motor 1 using the manipulated variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase, thereby making it possible to effectively suppress beat oscillation of the current even when the operating conditions change significantly.

- control unit 400 can effectively suppress beat vibration, it is possible to reduce the size and capacity of the DC reactor 8 and capacitor 9. This reduces the manufacturing costs of the drive unit 4 and improves energy-saving performance.
- control unit 400 can prevent a deterioration in motor efficiency due to an increase in the current peak value, a decrease in the motor's maximum output due to restrictions on overcurrent protection, and an increase in vibration and noise of the AC motor 1.
- control unit 400 calculates a control variable ⁇ b of the voltage phase that minimizes the extracted pulsating component and controls the inverter 11 using this control variable ⁇ b , so that the effect of reducing current pulsation can be easily stabilized regardless of the operating conditions and installation conditions of the drive unit 4. - the beatless control unit 18 cannot know in advance where in the diagram the ideal value of the output signal vector x is located.
- the beatless control unit 18 can determine whether or not it has successfully searched for the ideal value of the output signal vector x only by observing the deviation vectors E and ER.
- the search range of the output signal vector x is limited.
- the output signal vector x has a searchable range SR, which is the range that can be searched. If the ideal value of the output signal vector x is not within the searchable range SR, the deviation vectors E and ER cannot be set to zero, so the beatless control unit 18 searches for an output signal vector x that minimizes the deviation vectors E and ER within the searchable range SR.
- the initial value xs of the output signal vector x is an arbitrary value, and is often set to zero, but here it is set to a non-zero value for convenience of drawing.
- the initial values of the deviation vectors E and ER are also set to arbitrary non-zero values.
- the initial value of the deviation vector E is indicated by the initial value Es
- the initial value of the deviation vector ER is indicated by the initial value ERs. Note that the initial value ERs of the deviation vector ER may be the same as the initial value Es of the deviation vector E.

- the deviation vector locus Et which is the locus of the deviation vector E
- the deviation vector locus ERt which is the locus of the deviation vector ER after the rotation calculation
- the amount of rotation ⁇ R is ideal, the deviation vectors E and ER move in the shortest distance from their initial values Es and ERs toward the ideal value Ei (origin), which is the ideal point for the deviation vectors E and ER.
- the output signal vector x must also move in the shortest distance from its initial value xs toward the ideal value xi, which is the ideal point for the output signal vector x.
- the beatless control unit 18 can move the deviation vectors E, ER toward the ideal value Ei in the shortest distance by optimizing the rotation amount ⁇ R.
- the direction of the deviation vector ER as viewed from the origin can be considered the search direction of the output signal vector x.
- the search direction of beatless control can be said to be the approximate direction of travel of the output signal vector x.
- the sector area (search direction image SD1) shown in Fig. 19 corresponds to the field of view when the rotation amount ⁇ R is the optimal value.
- the ideal value xi of the output signal vector x is on the extension line of the search direction, so the search for the ideal value xi of the output signal vector x is successful and smooth.
- the sector-shaped regions (search direction images SD2 and SD3) shown in FIG. 20 correspond to the field of view when the rotation amount ⁇ R is within a range of less than ⁇ 90 degrees from the optimal value. In this case, there is a slight deviation between the direction of the ideal value xi of the output signal vector x and the search direction.
- the beatless control unit 18's internal integral control allows for a slight deviation in the search direction, so the beatless control unit 18 can cause the deviation vectors E and ER to ultimately reach the ideal value Ei.
- the output signal vector x does not move toward the ideal value xi of the output signal vector x in the shortest distance, the deviation vectors E and ER decrease in a spiral manner.
- the sector-shaped regions (search direction images SD4, SD5, and SD6) shown in FIG. 21 correspond to the field of view when the rotation amount ⁇ R is more than ⁇ 90 degrees away from the optimal value.
- the beatless control unit 18 does not reduce the deviation vectors E and ER as intended even when the output signal vector x is changed, so the search direction cannot be uniquely determined and the beatless control unit 18 manipulates the output signal vector x so that the deviation vectors E and ER are directed toward a point different from the ideal value Ei.
- the beatless control unit 18 increases the deviation vectors E and ER along a spiral trajectory, resulting in beatless control failure.
- the points of the deviation vectors E and ER when a search failure is detected are shown as deviation vectors Ef and ERf, respectively. Also in Figure 21, the point of the output signal vector x when a search failure is detected is shown as the reached value xf.
- the beatless control unit 18 may be provided with a search failure detection unit that detects a failure in searching for the optimal value of the rotation amount ⁇ R .
- the cause of the search failure in the operation described in Fig. 21 is that the search direction was inappropriate (in other words, the rotation amount ⁇ R was inappropriate). If the search fails, the beatless control unit 18 detects the search failure and corrects the search direction, thereby eventually being able to successfully search for the optimal value of the rotation amount ⁇ R .
- Fig. 22 shows an image of the operation when, after a search for the optimal value of the rotation amount ⁇ R has failed, the search direction is corrected and the search is performed again. That is, the behavior shown in Fig. 22 is the behavior when, upon detecting a search failure, the beatless control unit 18 adjusts the rotation amount ⁇ R and resets the rotation amount ⁇ R to an appropriate value. Note that, in Fig. 22 as in Fig. 21, the points of the deviation vectors E and ER when a search failure is detected are indicated by deviation vectors Ef and ERf, respectively.
- the amount of rotation before correction is indicated by the amount of rotation B ⁇ R
- the amount of rotation after correction is indicated by the amount of rotation A ⁇ R
- the search direction image SD8 shows the search direction image after the beatless control unit 18 adjusts the amount of rotation B ⁇ R , relative to the search direction image SD7 when a search failure is detected.
- the beatless control unit 18 adjusts the amount of rotation B ⁇ R
- the amount of rotation becomes the amount of rotation A ⁇ R
- the locus of the output signal vector x after the rotation amount B ⁇ R has been adjusted is indicated by locus xt2.
- locus of the deviation vector ER rotated by the adjusted rotation amount A ⁇ R is indicated by deviation vector locus ERt2.
- the locus of the deviation vector E rotated by the adjusted rotation amount A ⁇ R is indicated by deviation vector locus Et2.
- FIG. 22 illustrates a case where the amount of rotation ⁇ R can be adjusted to an optimum value by adjusting the amount of rotation ⁇ R by one degree.
- the optimum value of the amount of rotation ⁇ R is unknown, so the amount of rotation ⁇ R is adjusted little by little over multiple times by the integral control units 203A and 203B.
- the beatless control unit 18 may continuously correct the rotation amount ⁇ R during beatless control operation by a method that combines a cross product calculation and PID control, which will be described later.
- the deviation vector E may approach the origin along a complex deviation vector locus Et as shown in Fig. 18.
- the deviation vector E may approach the origin along a linear deviation vector locus Et2.
- beatless control it is unknown at what point the ideal value xi of the output signal vector x is, and if the output signal vector x is manipulated in an inappropriate direction, beat vibrations will increase, so the search for the ideal value xi of the output signal vector x must be carried out carefully. For this reason, in embodiment 2, the beatless control unit 18 appropriately corrects the search direction of beatless control to ensure that the output signal vector x reaches the ideal value xi.
- the rotation amount adjustment unit 206 may use any method to adjust the rotation amount ⁇ R. For example, the rotation amount adjustment unit 206 corrects (adjusts) the rotation amount ⁇ R using a method that combines a cross product calculation and PID control, which will be described later. Alternatively, the rotation amount adjustment unit 206 may automatically search for the rotation amount ⁇ R using AI (artificial intelligence) or machine learning.

- the pulsation suppression unit 104A evaluates the appropriateness of the beatless control operation, for example, by using the cross product of the deviation vector E and the time derivative vector (d/dt)E of the deviation vector E (the area of the parallelogram formed by the two vectors).
- the evaluation value for evaluating whether the beatless control is being performed appropriately is indicated as Cd .
- Cd is the cross product of the deviation vector E and the time derivative vector (d/dt)E of the deviation vector E.
- the pulsation suppression unit 104A reduces the amount of correction of the rotation amount ⁇ R as the area of the parallelogram formed by the deviation vector E and the time differential vector (d/dt)E of the deviation vector E decreases.
- the amount of correction of the rotation amount ⁇ R decreases as the angle between the deviation vector E and the time differential vector (d/dt) E approaches 180 degrees or approaches 0 degrees.
- the pulsation suppression unit 104A increases the amount of correction of the rotation amount ⁇ R as the angle between the deviation vector E and the time differential vector (d/dt)E approaches 90 degrees.

- the deviation e sin is input to a pseudo differentiator 302B and a multiplier 303A.
- the pseudo differentiator 302A calculates (d/dt)e cos by differentiating the deviation e cos with respect to time t and passing the result through a low-pass filter, and outputs the result to the multiplier 303A.
- the multiplier 303A multiplies e sin by (d/dt)e cos and outputs the multiplication result to the subtractor 304.
- the pseudo differentiator 302B calculates (d/dt)e sin by differentiating the deviation e sin with respect to time t and passing it through a low-pass filter, and outputs the result to the multiplier 303B.

- the gain calculation unit 307 multiplies the power factor angle ⁇ sent from the low-pass filter 308 by a coefficient and sends the result to the adder 309.
- the adder 309 corrects the rotation amount ⁇ R by adding the power factor angle ⁇ sent from the gain calculation unit 307 and a pre-stored default value (e.g., 90 degrees) to the rotation amount ⁇ R sent from the PID control unit 306.
- the adder 309 outputs the rotation amount ⁇ R , which is the addition result, to the rotation calculation unit 202.
- the rotation amount adjusting unit 206 of the second embodiment determines the rotation amount ⁇ R based on the sum of the default value, the output from the PID control unit 306, and the power factor angle ⁇ , which is power factor information.
- the rotation amount adjustment unit 206 changes the rotation amount ⁇ R , the beatless control operation is optimized and the evaluation value Cd decreases.
- the evaluation value Cd decreases to a specific value, the change in the rotation amount ⁇ R stops. At this time, the rotation amount ⁇ R has reached an appropriate value, so the deviation vector E eventually converges to zero.
- Figure 28 is a flowchart showing the processing steps of the rotation amount adjustment process executed by the rotation amount adjustment unit according to the second embodiment.

Description
交流電動機を駆動するためにAC(Alternating Current、交流)-DC(Direct Current、直流)コンバータとDC-ACコンバータ(インバータ)とを組み合わせた駆動装置が多用されている。
変調部13は、インバータ11を動作させるためのPWM(Pulse Width Modulation)信号を決定する。
積分制御部203Aは、ycosに対応する偏差eRcos(回転演算されたcos成分)を積分し、積分制御部203Bは、ysinに対応する偏差eRsin(回転演算されたsin成分)を積分する。
例えば、脈動抑制部104は、P(Proportional、比例)制御を行う制御部を用いてもよいし、PI(Proportional-Integral、比例積分)制御を行う制御部を用いてもよいし、PID(Proportional-Integral-Differential、比例積分微分)制御を行う制御部を用いてもよい。
メモリ92は、RAM(Random Access Memory)、ROM(Read Only Memory)、フラッシュメモリー、EPROM(Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory)、EEPROM(登録商標)(Electrically Erasable Programmable Read Only Memory)といった不揮発性または揮発性の半導体メモリを例示できる。
また、回転量調整部206は、AI(Artificial Intelligence、人工知能)または機械学習を用いて回転量θRを自動探索してもよい。
