Abstract
本発明は、(A)(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物、及び、(B)カチオン重合開始剤を含有するものであることを特徴とするカチオン硬化型組成物である。これにより、低温で硬化可能であり、高硬度および高屈折率を有する硬化物を与えるカチオン硬化型組成物が提供される。 (式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を含まない、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基、または炭素原子数1~6のアルコキシ基であり、R2は、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の2価炭化水素基を表す。)
Description
本発明は、カチオン硬化型組成物、その硬化物及び光半導体装置に関する。
近年、ディスプレイの薄型化、スマートフォンの高機能化などにより、光学材料の発展が目覚ましいものとなっている。
光半導体装置として知られるLEDランプは、基板に実装されたLEDを透明な樹脂からなる封止材料で封止した構成である。この封止材料としては、優れた耐熱性を有する点から、シリコーン組成物が幅広く使用されている。しかしながら、シリコーン組成物からなる封止材料は、ガスバリア性が低いために、外部からの腐食性ガスの侵入により銀電極が変色してしまう欠点がある。その結果、例えばLEDの輝度が低下してしまう場合がある。
また、ディスプレイ分野では、優れた波長変換効率を有する量子ドットを利用した、低消費電力、高精細が特徴の量子ドットディスプレイの開発が進められている(特許文献1)。このような量子ドットは硫黄を含むため、一般的な付加硬化型シリコーンは使用することができない。加えて、量子ドットは耐熱性が低く高温での加熱ができないため、UV硬化型材料の使用が望ましいとされている。
さらに、電子機器の小型化によって光学通信関係で広く使用されるマイクロレンズ材料では、効率的な集光、拡散を実現するために、高硬度、高屈折率であるといったニーズが生まれている(特許文献2,3)。
加えて、近年の省エネルギー化によって、樹脂を硬化させる際の加熱工程を極力少なくするといった努力がなされており、その中でUV硬化型樹脂のニーズが高まっている(特許文献4)。
本発明は、上記事情に鑑みなされたものであって、低温で硬化可能であり、高硬度および高屈折率を有する硬化物を与えるカチオン硬化型組成物を提供することを目的とする。
上記課題を解決するために、本発明では、
(A)(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物、及び、
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を含まない、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基、または炭素原子数1~6のアルコキシ基であり、R2は、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の2価炭化水素基を表す。)
(B)カチオン重合開始剤
を含有するものであるカチオン硬化型組成物を提供する。
(A)(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物、及び、
(B)カチオン重合開始剤
を含有するものであるカチオン硬化型組成物を提供する。
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物であれば、低温で硬化可能であり、高硬度および高屈折率を有する硬化物を与えることができる。
また、前記(A)成分が、Si-H基を1分子中に2個有するケイ素含有付加反応生成物と、(c)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に1個有するカチオン重合性基含有化合物との付加反応生成物であって、前記ケイ素含有付加反応生成物が、前記(a)Si-H基含有化合物と、前記(b)多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物であることが好ましい。
このようなカチオン硬化型組成物であれば、より硬化性に優れる。
また、前記多環式炭化水素が、5-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エン、及び6-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンのいずれか、またはこれらの組み合わせであることが好ましい。
このようなカチオン硬化型組成物であれば、高硬度、高屈折率であり、ガスバリア性に優れた硬化物を得ることができる。
また、前記(A)成分が、下記一般式(2)で表される化合物であることがより一層好ましい。
(式中、Meはメチル基であり、Rcは互いに同一又は異なっていてもよい、カチオン重合性基を表し、nは、1~10の整数である。)
このようなカチオン硬化型組成物であれば、高硬度、高屈折率であり、ガスバリア性により優れた硬化物を得ることができる。
また、前記カチオン重合性基が、エポキシ基、オキセタン基、及びビニルエーテル基からなる群から選択される1種以上を含有する基であることが好ましい。
このようなカチオン硬化型組成物であれば、より硬化性に優れる。
また、前記(B)カチオン重合開始剤が、光カチオン重合開始剤、又は、熱カチオン重合開始剤であることが好ましい。
このような重合開始剤は、本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物をより効果的に硬化させることができる。
また本発明では、上記のカチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物である硬化物を提供する。
本発明の硬化物は、高硬度および高屈折率を備えているため、光学素子の封止材や波長変換フィルター等の用途に有用である。
さらに本発明では、上記の硬化物を含むものである光半導体装置を提供する。
本発明の光半導体装置は、高い信頼性を有するものである。
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、低温で硬化可能なものであって、その硬化物は高硬度、高屈折率等の特性に優れるため、光半導体素子の封止材や波長変換フィルター等の用途に有用である。
上述のように低温で硬化可能であり、高硬度および高屈折率を有する硬化物を与えるカチオン硬化型組成物の開発が求められていた。
本発明者らは、上記目的を達成するために鋭意検討した結果、後述する(A)及び(B)成分を含むカチオン硬化型組成物であれば、上記課題を解決できることを見出し、本発明を完成させた。
即ち、本発明は、(A)(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物、及び、
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を含まない、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基、または炭素原子数1~6のアルコキシ基であり、R2は、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の2価炭化水素基を表す。)

本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、後述する(A)および(B)成分を必須成分として含有するものである。この組成物は、前記必須成分以外に必要に応じて任意の成分を更に含むことができる。以下、各成分について詳細に説明する。

[(A)成分]
(A)成分は、(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物である。
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を含まない、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基、または炭素原子数1~6のアルコキシ基であり、R2は、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の2価炭化水素基を表す。)
(A)成分は、(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物である。
R1の炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基の具体例としては、メチル、エチル、n-プロピル、イソプロピル、n-ブチル、イソブチル、sec-ブチル、tert-ブチル、n-ペンチル、n-ヘキシル、n-オクチル、n-デシル、シクロペンチル、シクロヘキシル基等の炭素原子数1~12のアルキル基;フェニル、ナフチル基等の炭素原子数6~12のアリール基;トリル、キシリル、エチルフェニル、プロピルフェニル、ブチルフェニル、ペンチルフェニル、ヘキシルフェニル基等の炭素原子数7~12のアルキルアリール基;ベンジル、フェネチル基等の炭素原子数7~12のアラルキル基などが挙げられる。
また、炭素原子数1~6のアルコキシ基の具体例としては、メトキシ、エトキシ、n-プロポキシ、i-プロポキシ、n-ブトキシ、sec-ブトキシ、t-ブトキシ、n-ペンチルオキシ、n-ヘキシルオキシ、シクロペンチルオキシ、シクロヘキシルオキシ基等が挙げられる。
これらの中でも、R1としては、炭素原子数1~8のアルキル基が好ましく、メチル基がより好ましい。
一方、R2の炭素原子数1~12の2価炭化水素基の具体例としては、メチレン、エチレン、プロピレン、トリメチレン、ペンタメチレン、ヘキサメチレン、ヘプタメチレン、オクタメチレン、ノナメチレン、デカメチレン基等の炭素原子数1~12の直鎖、分岐または環状のアルキレン基;フェニレン、ビフェニレン、ナフチレン基等の炭素原子数6~12のアリーレン基、フェニレンメチレン、メチレンフェニレンメチレン基等の炭素原子数7~12のアラルキレン基などが挙げられる。
これらの中でも、炭素原子数6~12のアリーレン基が好ましく、フェニレン基がより好ましい。
(a)成分の具体例としては、下記式(5)、(6)、(7)及び(8)で示されるものが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。なお、Meはメチル基を表す。
なお、(a)成分は、1種単独で用いても、2種以上組み合わせて用いてもよい。
<(b)成分>
(b)成分は、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素である。

(b)成分としては、(i)多環式炭化水素の骨格を形成している炭素原子のうち、隣接する2つの炭素原子間に付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合が形成されているもの、(ii)多環式炭化水素の骨格を形成している炭素原子に結合した水素原子が、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合含有基によって置換されているもの、(iii)多環式炭化水素の骨格を形成している炭素原子のうち、隣接する2つの炭素原子間に付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合が形成されており、かつ、多環式炭化水素の骨格を形成している炭素原子に結合した水素原子が付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合含有基によって置換されているもの等を用いることができる。
上記多環式炭化水素の具体例としては、下記式(9)で表される5-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エン、下記式(10)で表される6-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エン等が挙げられ、これらは混合物として用いることもできる(以下、これらを区別する必要がない場合は、「ビニルノルボルネン」と総称することがある)。
なお、上記ビニルノルボルネンのビニル基の置換位置は、シス配置(エキソ型)またはトランス型(エンド型)のいずれであってもよく、また、これらの配置の相違によって化合物の反応性等に特段の差異が無いことから、両配置の異性体の組み合わせであってもよい。
また、ビニルノルボルネン以外の上記多環式炭化水素の具体例としては、ジシクロペンタジエン及びその誘導体が挙げられる。
(a)成分と(b)成分との付加反応生成物としては、特に限定されるものではないが、下記式(11)で表されるものが好ましく、特にR1がメチル基であるものがより好ましい。
(a)成分と(b)成分との付加反応生成物からなる骨格は、前記Si-H基に由来する結合を有する二価の残基から構成される。例えば、上記式(11)で表される付加反応生成物からなる骨格は、下記の式で表される。
このような多環式炭化水素およびフェニレン基を含有する付加反応生成物を主骨格とした化合物は、高硬度および高屈折率を有し、ガスバリア性に優れる硬化物を与えるため、特に好適に用いることができる。
(a)成分と(b)成分との付加反応生成物は、一例としては、(b)成分1モルに対し、(a)成分を1モル超10モル以下、好ましくは1モル超5モル以下の量で、ヒドロシリル化反応触媒の存在下で付加反応させることにより調製できる。
この場合、ヒドロシリル化反応触媒としては、公知のものを使用することができ、その具体例としては、白金金属を担持したカーボン粉末、白金黒、塩化第2白金、塩化白金酸、塩化白金酸と一価アルコールとの反応生成物、塩化白金酸とオレフィン類との錯体、白金ビスアセトアセテート等の白金系触媒;パラジウム系触媒、ロジウム系触媒などの白金族金属系触媒などが挙げられる。また、付加反応条件、溶媒の使用等については、特に限定されず公知のとおりとすればよい。
上記反応では、(b)多環式炭化水素に対して過剰モル量の(a)一般式(1)で表される化合物を反応させることから、(A)成分の付加反応生成物は、(a)一般式(1)で表される化合物に由来するSi-H基を1分子中に2個有することができる。
<(c)成分>
(A)成分は、例えば、(a)成分と(b)成分との付加反応生成物の1分子中に2個(両末端に)存在するSi-H基のいずれか一方、または両方と、(c)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に1個有するカチオン重合性基含有化合物とをヒドロシリル化反応させることにより得ることができる。
(A)成分は、例えば、(a)成分と(b)成分との付加反応生成物の1分子中に2個(両末端に)存在するSi-H基のいずれか一方、または両方と、(c)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に1個有するカチオン重合性基含有化合物とをヒドロシリル化反応させることにより得ることができる。
(c)成分としては、例えば下記式で表される化合物などが挙げられる。
R3のアルケニル基の具体例としては、ビニル、アリル、ブテニル、ペンテニル、ヘキセニル、ヘプテニル、オクテニル、デセニル基等が挙げられ、ビニル基、アリル基が好ましい。
(A)成分は、下記式(2)で表される化合物であることが好ましい。
カチオン重合性基としては、エポキシ基、オキセタン基、及びビニルエーテル基からなる群から選択される1種以上を含有する基が好ましく、下記式(3)で表される基または下記式(4)で表される基がより好ましい。
(A)成分の好ましい具体例としては、下記式で表されるもの等が挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
(A)成分は、一種単独で用いても、二種以上併用してもよい。
[(B)成分]
(B)成分は、(A)成分のカチオン重合性基を重合させるカチオン重合開始剤であり、紫外線等の光によりカチオンを発生させる光カチオン重合開始剤、又は、熱によりカチオンを発生させる熱カチオン重合開始剤を用いることができる。
(B)成分は、(A)成分のカチオン重合性基を重合させるカチオン重合開始剤であり、紫外線等の光によりカチオンを発生させる光カチオン重合開始剤、又は、熱によりカチオンを発生させる熱カチオン重合開始剤を用いることができる。
光カチオン重合開始剤としては、R5
2I+Y-、R5

4P+Y-、R5N+Y-(R5はアルキル基で置換されていてもよいアリール基、Y-はSbF6
-、AsF6
-、PF6
-、BF4

-などの陰イオン)で示されるジアリールヨードニウム塩、トリアリールスルホニウム塩、トリアリールセレノニウム塩、テトラアリールホスホニウム塩、アリールジアゾニウム塩などが挙げられ、なかでも、下記式で表されるビス[4-n-アルキルフェニル]ヨードニウムヘキサフルオロアンチモン酸塩が好ましい。
熱カチオン重合開始剤としては、アリールヨードニウム塩、アリールスルホニウム塩、アレン-イオン錯体、第4級アンモニウム塩、アルミニウムキレート、三フッ化ホウ素アミン錯体などが挙げられ、なかでも、下記式で表されるベンジル(4-ヒドロキシフェニル)メチルスルホニウムテトラキス(ペンタフルオロフェニル)ボレートが好ましい。
(B)成分の配合量は、(A)成分100質量部に対して、0.01質量部~20.0質量部が好ましく、より好ましくは0.1質量部~5.0質量部である。(B)成分の配合量が0.01質量部以上であれば十分な硬化性が確実に得られる。
これらのカチオン重合開始剤は、一種単独で用いても、二種以上併用してもよい。
[その他の成分]
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、上記(A)及び(B)の各成分を基本成分として、必要に応じてエポキシ系希釈剤、有機溶剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、接着助剤、補強性充填剤、染料、顔料などを添加してもよい。
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、上記(A)及び(B)の各成分を基本成分として、必要に応じてエポキシ系希釈剤、有機溶剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、接着助剤、補強性充填剤、染料、顔料などを添加してもよい。
[硬化物]
本発明は、上記カチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物も提供する。本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、環境負荷の少ないUV照射または80~150℃で硬化可能な反応性に優れるものである。また、多環式炭化水素骨格を有する本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は封止材料に用いることで高いガスバリア性を発揮し、外部からの腐食ガスの侵入を防ぐことができる。さらに、その硬化物は高硬度、高屈折率等の特性に優れる。
本発明は、上記カチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物も提供する。本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、環境負荷の少ないUV照射または80~150℃で硬化可能な反応性に優れるものである。また、多環式炭化水素骨格を有する本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は封止材料に用いることで高いガスバリア性を発揮し、外部からの腐食ガスの侵入を防ぐことができる。さらに、その硬化物は高硬度、高屈折率等の特性に優れる。
[硬化方法および硬化条件]
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物のうち、光カチオン重合開始剤を含有する光硬化タイプのカチオン硬化型組成物は、紫外線等の光を照射することで硬化させることができる。
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物のうち、光カチオン重合開始剤を含有する光硬化タイプのカチオン硬化型組成物は、紫外線等の光を照射することで硬化させることができる。
紫外線の光源としては、UVLEDランプ、高圧水銀灯、超高圧水銀灯、メタルハライドランプ、カーボンアークランプ、及びキセノンランプ等が挙げられる。紫外線の照射量(積算光量)は、例えば、本発明の組成物を2.0mm程度の厚みに成形したシートに対して、好ましくは100~18000mJ/cm2であり、より好ましくは3000~18000mJ/cm2である。即ち、照度100mW/cm2の紫外線を用いた場合、1~180秒程度紫外線を照射することで硬化させることができる。
また、紫外線等の光を照射した後に、40℃~200℃で加熱することで硬化を促進してもよい。
本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物のうち、熱カチオン重合開始剤を含有する熱硬化タイプのカチオン硬化型組成物は、熱風循環式オーブンなどを用いた加熱により硬化させることができる。
加熱温度は、例えば、本発明の組成物を2.0mm程度の厚みに成形したシートに対して、大気下で、80~250℃で0.1~3時間の加熱であり、好ましくは120~180℃で0.5~2時間の加熱であり、より好ましくは150℃の熱風循環式オーブンで1~1.5時間の加熱である。
[光半導体装置]
また本発明では、本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物を含むものである光半導体装置を提供する。本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、低温で硬化可能なものであって、その硬化物は高硬度、高屈折率等の特性に優れるため、光半導体素子の封止材や波長変換フィルター等の用途に有用である。
また本発明では、本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物を含むものである光半導体装置を提供する。本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物は、低温で硬化可能なものであって、その硬化物は高硬度、高屈折率等の特性に優れるため、光半導体素子の封止材や波長変換フィルター等の用途に有用である。
以下、実施例及び比較例を示し、本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明はこれによって限定されるものではない。なお、粘度はB型回転粘度計を用いて測定した25℃における値である。
[合成例1]
撹拌装置、冷却管、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた5Lの4つ口フラスコに、1,4-ビス(ジメチルシリル)ベンゼン194g(3.4モル)、5%質量の白金金属を担持したカーボン粉末0.45gを添加し、オイルバスを用いて85℃に加熱した。これを撹拌しながらビニルノルボルネン(商品名:V0062、東京化成工業(株)製;5-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンと6-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンとの略等モル量の異性体混合物)120g(0.6モル)を60分かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、110℃で4時間撹拌した後、25℃まで冷却した。これに活性炭7.4gを添加し、25℃で1時間攪拌した後、白金金属担持カーボンと活性炭を濾過して除去し、トルエンおよび過剰の1,4-ビス(ジメチルシリル)ベンゼンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状の反応生成物(ab-1)(25℃における粘度:13150mPa・s)244gを得た。
撹拌装置、冷却管、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた5Lの4つ口フラスコに、1,4-ビス(ジメチルシリル)ベンゼン194g(3.4モル)、5%質量の白金金属を担持したカーボン粉末0.45gを添加し、オイルバスを用いて85℃に加熱した。これを撹拌しながらビニルノルボルネン(商品名:V0062、東京化成工業(株)製;5-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンと6-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンとの略等モル量の異性体混合物)120g(0.6モル)を60分かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、110℃で4時間撹拌した後、25℃まで冷却した。これに活性炭7.4gを添加し、25℃で1時間攪拌した後、白金金属担持カーボンと活性炭を濾過して除去し、トルエンおよび過剰の1,4-ビス(ジメチルシリル)ベンゼンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状の反応生成物(ab-1)(25℃における粘度:13150mPa・s)244gを得た。
反応生成物のFT-IR、NMR、およびGPC分析の結果、下記式(14)で表される化合物の混合物であった。また、混合物中のSi-H結合の含有量は0.0031モル/gであった。
[合成例2]
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、1-アリルオキシ-2,3-エポキシプロパン(商品名:アリルグリシジルエーテル、東京化成工業(株)製)32g、およびトルエン53gを加え、85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.069g添加し、攪拌しながら、合成例1で得られた(ab-1)80gとトルエン62gとの溶液を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で2時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-1)(25℃における粘度:9250mPa・s)95gを得た。
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、1-アリルオキシ-2,3-エポキシプロパン(商品名:アリルグリシジルエーテル、東京化成工業(株)製)32g、およびトルエン53gを加え、85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.069g添加し、攪拌しながら、合成例1で得られた(ab-1)80gとトルエン62gとの溶液を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で2時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-1)(25℃における粘度:9250mPa・s)95gを得た。
[合成例3]
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、1,2-エポキシ-4-ビニルシクロヘキサン(商品名:CEL2000、(株)ダイセル製)17g、およびトルエン17gを加え、85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.034g添加し、攪拌しながら、合成例1で得られた(ab-1)40gとトルエン40gとの溶液を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で2時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-2)(25℃における粘度:841Pa・s)53gを得た。
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、1,2-エポキシ-4-ビニルシクロヘキサン(商品名:CEL2000、(株)ダイセル製)17g、およびトルエン17gを加え、85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.034g添加し、攪拌しながら、合成例1で得られた(ab-1)40gとトルエン40gとの溶液を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で2時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-2)(25℃における粘度:841Pa・s)53gを得た。
[比較合成例1]
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、下記式(15)で表されるオルガノハイドロジェンジシロキサン191g、およびトルエン145gを加え、オイルバスを用いて85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金-1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体のトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.084g添加し、攪拌しながら1,2-エポキシ-4-ビニルシクロヘキサン(商品名:CEL2000、(株)ダイセル製)88gを1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で3時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状の下記式(16)で表されるオルガノハイドロジェンジシロキサン(25℃における粘度:15mPa・s)174gを得た。
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、下記式(15)で表されるオルガノハイドロジェンジシロキサン191g、およびトルエン145gを加え、オイルバスを用いて85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金-1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサン錯体のトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.084g添加し、攪拌しながら1,2-エポキシ-4-ビニルシクロヘキサン(商品名:CEL2000、(株)ダイセル製)88gを1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で3時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状の下記式(16)で表されるオルガノハイドロジェンジシロキサン(25℃における粘度:15mPa・s)174gを得た。
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、得られた下記式(16)で表されるオルガノハイドロジェンジシロキサン12.5g、およびトルエン260gを加え、オイルバスを用いて85℃に加熱した。これに六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)を0.158g添加し、攪拌しながら下記式(17)で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン250gとトルエン100gとの溶液を1時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、85℃で3時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-3)(25℃における粘度:10690mPa・s)253gを得た。
[比較合成例2]
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、1,2-エポキシ-4-ビニルシクロヘキサン(商品名:CEL2000、(株)ダイセル製)28.3g、およびトルエン160g、イソプロピルアルコール28g、六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)0.112g、アセトニトリル0.112gを加え、オイルバスを用いて80℃に加熱した。これに下記式(18)で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン100gを2時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、80℃で3時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-4)(25℃における粘度:330mPa・s)169gを得た。
撹拌装置、冷却管、還流冷却器、滴下ロートおよび温度計を備えた4つ口フラスコに、1,2-エポキシ-4-ビニルシクロヘキサン(商品名:CEL2000、(株)ダイセル製)28.3g、およびトルエン160g、イソプロピルアルコール28g、六塩化白金1,3-ジビニルテトラメチルジシロキサンのトルエン溶液(白金換算で0.5質量%)0.112g、アセトニトリル0.112gを加え、オイルバスを用いて80℃に加熱した。これに下記式(18)で表されるオルガノポリシロキサン100gを2時間かけて滴下した。滴下終了後、80℃で3時間攪拌した。トルエンを減圧留去して、無色透明なオイル状のカチオン重合性化合物(A-4)(25℃における粘度:330mPa・s)169gを得た。
[実施例1~4および比較例1~6]
前記合成例および比較合成例で得られた(ab-1)、(A-1)~(A-4)成分と、下記(B)成分を表1および表2に示す配合比(質量部)でそれぞれ混合し、カチオン硬化型組成物を調製した。
前記合成例および比較合成例で得られた(ab-1)、(A-1)~(A-4)成分と、下記(B)成分を表1および表2に示す配合比(質量部)でそれぞれ混合し、カチオン硬化型組成物を調製した。
実施例1~4および比較例1~6で得られた組成物を下記の方法で評価し、結果を表3、表4に示した。
[屈折率]
各組成物について、(株)アタゴ製デジタル屈折計(型式RX-9000i)を用い、25℃の屈折率を測定した。

[硬さ]
光カチオン重合開始剤を用いた組成物(実施例1,2および比較例1~3)は、アイグラフィックス(株)製アイUV電子制御装置(型式UBX0601-01)を用い波長365nmの紫外光での照射量が18000mJ/cm2となるように大気下、25℃で紫外線を照射し硬化させた2mm厚の硬化物の硬度について、TypeA硬度またはTypeD硬度をJIS K6253に準拠して測定した。
光カチオン重合開始剤を用いた組成物(実施例1,2および比較例1~3)は、アイグラフィックス(株)製アイUV電子制御装置(型式UBX0601-01)を用い波長365nmの紫外光での照射量が18000mJ/cm2となるように大気下、25℃で紫外線を照射し硬化させた2mm厚の硬化物の硬度について、TypeA硬度またはTypeD硬度をJIS K6253に準拠して測定した。
熱カチオン重合開始剤を用いた組成物(実施例3,4および比較例4~6)は、熱風循環式オーブンで大気下150℃で1時間加熱することで硬化させた2mmの硬化物の硬度について、TypeA硬度またはTypeD硬度をJIS K6253に準拠して測定した。
なお、上記硬さ測定においては、TypeA硬度が90以上の場合にはTypeD硬度を用いることとした。
表3および表4に示されるように、本発明のカチオン硬化型組成物を用いた実施例1~4では、高硬度、高屈折率を有している。一方、(A)成分をオルガノポリシロキサン骨格で構成されるカチオン重合性化合物に変更した比較例1、2、4および5では、高硬度と高屈折率を両立できず、またカチオン硬化性基を有していない比較例3および6では硬化が起こらなかった。
本明細書は、以下の発明を包含する。
[1]:(A)(a)下記一般式(1)で表されるSi-H基含有化合物と、(b)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に2個有する多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物からなる骨格を有し、かつ、カチオン重合性基を片方または両方の分子末端に有するカチオン重合性化合物、及び、
(式中、R1は、それぞれ独立に、付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を含まない、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の1価炭化水素基、または炭素原子数1~6のアルコキシ基であり、R2は、置換または非置換の炭素原子数1~12の2価炭化水素基を表す。)
(B)カチオン重合開始剤を含有するものであることを特徴とするカチオン硬化型組成物。

[2]:前記(A)成分が、Si-H基を1分子中に2個有するケイ素含有付加反応生成物と、(c)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に1個有するカチオン重合性基含有化合物との付加反応生成物であって、前記ケイ素含有付加反応生成物が、前記(a)Si-H基含有化合物と、前記(b)多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物であることを特徴とする上記[1]に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
[3]:前記多環式炭化水素が、5-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エン、及び6-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンのいずれか、またはこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする上記[1]又は上記[2]に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
[4]:前記(A)成分が、下記一般式(2)で表される化合物であることを特徴とする上記[1]、上記[2]、又は上記[3]に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
(式中、Meはメチル基であり、Rcは互いに同一又は異なっていてもよい、カチオン重合性基を表し、nは、1~10の整数である。)
[5]:前記カチオン重合性基が、エポキシ基、オキセタン基、及びビニルエーテル基からなる群から選択される1種以上を含有する基であることを特徴とする上記[1]、上記[2]、上記[3]、又は上記[4]に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
[7]:前記(B)カチオン重合開始剤が、光カチオン重合開始剤、又は、熱カチオン重合開始剤であることを特徴とする上記[1]、上記[2]、上記[3]、上記[4]、上記[5]、又は上記[6]に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
[8]:上記[1]、上記[2]、上記[3]、上記[4]、上記[5]、上記[6]、又は上記[7]に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物であることを特徴とする硬化物。
[9]:上記[8]に記載の硬化物を含むものであることを特徴とする光半導体装置。
なお、本発明は、上記実施形態に限定されるものではない。上記実施形態は例示であり、本発明の特許請求の範囲に記載された技術的思想と実質的に同一な構成を有し、同様な作用効果を奏するものは、いかなるものであっても本発明の技術的範囲に包含される。
Claims (9)
- 前記(A)成分が、Si-H基を1分子中に2個有するケイ素含有付加反応生成物と、(c)付加反応性炭素-炭素二重結合を1分子中に1個有するカチオン重合性基含有化合物との付加反応生成物であって、前記ケイ素含有付加反応生成物が、前記(a)Si-H基含有化合物と、前記(b)多環式炭化水素との付加反応生成物であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
- 前記多環式炭化水素が、5-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エン、及び6-ビニルビシクロ[2.2.1]ヘプト-2-エンのいずれか、またはこれらの組み合わせであることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
- 前記カチオン重合性基が、エポキシ基、オキセタン基、及びビニルエーテル基からなる群から選択される1種以上を含有する基であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
- 前記(B)カチオン重合開始剤が、光カチオン重合開始剤、又は、熱カチオン重合開始剤であることを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物。
- 請求項1から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載のカチオン硬化型組成物の硬化物であることを特徴とする硬化物。
- 請求項8に記載の硬化物を含むものであることを特徴とする光半導体装置。
