Definitions
- the present invention relates to a vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation, and more specifically, a vitreous matrix containing SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 , and Al 2 O 3 as main components, in which the amount required by plants for their growth is minute.
- This invention relates to a citric acid-soluble vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation that contains certain trace elements.
- trace elements There are 17 types of elements essential for plant growth, which are broadly divided into macronutrients and trace elements. Elements that are required in small amounts are called trace elements, and there are eight elements: Mn, Fe, B, Cu, Zn, Mo, Cl, and Ni. Six of these elements, Mn, Fe, B, Cu, Zn, and Mo, are sometimes applied as trace element fertilizers.
- Each trace element has the drawback of being oxidized and precipitated in the soil, and is strongly bound to the soil, resulting in the problem that even if it exists in the soil, it is difficult to absorb by plants.
- root acids released into the soil from plant roots and organic acids generated from organic matter in the soil have chelating properties that mask trace metal elements fixed in the soil, allowing trace elements to be absorbed by plants. Although it has the effect of making it easier for plants to be exposed, it is not sufficient and may cause trace element deficiencies in plants.
- Patent Documents 1 and 2 disclose glassy fertilizers similar to the present invention, but they are easily soluble in water and dissolve in soil in a short period of time, making it impossible to stably supply trace elements over a long period of time.
- the problem has been that trace elements cannot be sufficiently supplied to plants because they are difficult to dissolve in water and dissolve too slowly in the soil.
- the present invention has developed a composition that is more effective as a fertilizer and has improved elution characteristics.
- the present invention is a citric acid-soluble glassy fertilizer for plant cultivation containing trace elements. It provides:

- the invention according to claim 2 is the fertilizer according to claim 1, wherein the glassy matrix contains at least 20 to 35% by weight of SiO 2 and 5 to 30% by weight of B 2 O 3 . , 1 to 10% by weight of Al 2 O 3 , 0.1 to 15% by weight of Na 2 O, 0.1 to 5% by weight of K 2 O (1 to 17% by weight of Na 2 O + K 2 O), CaO It relates to a vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation comprising 10 to 20% by weight of CaO and 0.1 to 26% by weight of MgO (13 to 35% by weight of CaO + MgO).
- the invention according to claim 3 is the fertilizer according to claim 1, wherein the glassy matrix contains at least 20 to 35% by weight of SiO 2 and 5 to 12% by weight of B 2 O 3 . , 1 to 10% by weight of Al 2 O 3 , 0.1 to 15% by weight of Na 2 O, 0.1 to 5% by weight of K 2 O (1 to 17% by weight of Na 2 O + K 2 O), CaO It relates to a vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation comprising 10 to 20% by weight of CaO and 0.1 to 26% by weight of MgO (13 to 35% by weight of CaO + MgO).
- the invention according to claim 4 is the fertilizer according to claim 3, wherein the glassy matrix contains at least 20 to 35% by weight of SiO 2 and 5 to 12% by weight of B 2 O 3 . , 1 to 10% by weight of Al 2 O 3 , 0.1 to 15% by weight of Na 2 O, 0.1 to 5% by weight of K 2 O (1 to 17% by weight of Na 2 O + K 2 O), CaO 10 to 20% by weight of MgO, 0.1 to 26% by weight of MgO (13 to 35% by weight of CaO+MgO), and 12 to 40% by weight of MnO 2 .
- the invention according to claim 5 relates to the glassy fertilizer for plant cultivation according to claim 3, wherein the trace elements are Mn, Fe, B, Cu, Zn, and Mo.
- the invention according to claim 6 relates to the vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation according to claim 3, wherein the content of the trace element is 15 to 65% by weight of the entire fertilizer.
- the elution characteristics of fertilizers by root acids released from the roots of plants and organic acids (citric acid, etc.) generated from organic matter in the soil can be improved.
- glassy fertilizers it is possible to adjust the content of alkali metal oxides and alkaline earth metal oxides contained in the glassy matrix, and in particular, the content of calcium and magnesium, which are alkaline earth metal oxides, can be adjusted. By adjusting the content, the elution characteristics can be gently adjusted, which enables stable fertilizing effects of trace elements, which has the effect of further promoting plant growth.
- the composition of the vitreous matrix has the effect of making the elution characteristics as a fertilizer temporary.
- the elution characteristics as a fertilizer can be adjusted by the composition of the glassy matrix, and furthermore, among trace elements, manganese, which particularly affects plant growth, can be stabilized in the soil. It has the effect of supplying it to plants.
- the glassy matrix in the glassy matrix, six trace elements necessary for plant growth, including boron, which is an element forming the glass skeleton, are stably supplied to the plant, thereby It has the effect of achieving healthy plant growth and stable yields, including synergistic effects with other ingredients.
- the blending ratio of the glass matrix and the trace element component there is a preferable range for the blending ratio of the glass matrix and the trace element component. If the amount of trace element components is large, the amount of the applied component will be large and tends to be excessive, and if the amount of trace element components is low, the effect of the fertilizer will be weakened, which is not preferable.
- vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation According to the present invention, preferred embodiments of the vitreous fertilizer for plant cultivation according to the present invention will be described in detail as follows.
- This invention is based on the development of a technology to control the chemical properties of glass, in which the property of being poorly soluble in water and soluble in weak acids is developed in relation to the glass composition, and further optimized. This provides a slow-release vitreous fertilizer.
- the glass may contain part or all of Mn, Fe, B, Cu, Zn, and Mo, which are trace essential components of plants, in a total amount (in oxide terms) of 15 to 65% by weight. I can do it.
- SiO 2 constitutes the skeleton of the glass. If it is less than 20% by weight, the glass will easily dissolve in acid and will not function as a slow-release fertilizer, and if it is more than 35% by weight, the melting temperature of the glass will be high, making it difficult to manufacture, and when dissolved in acid, there will be no undissolved matter. This is not desirable because it forms
- B 2 O 3 constitutes the skeleton of glass and is also a trace element, so it is necessary to control the amount of elution. If it is less than 5% by weight, the melting temperature of the glass will be high and it will be difficult to manufacture the glass, and the glass will be difficult to dissolve into acid, and the fertilizer effect of B 2 O 3 will be weakened. Moreover, if it exceeds 30% by weight, the glass skeleton becomes weak, and the glass easily dissolves into acid, so that it does not function as a slow-release fertilizer. More preferably, it is 5 to 12% by weight.
- Al 2 O 3 affects both the skeleton formation of glass and the acid elution characteristics, and if the content is more than 10% by weight, the melting temperature of the glass will be high and it will be difficult to make glass, and if the content is more than 10% by weight, the glass will be difficult to make. If it is less than % by weight, it will be easily eluted by acid.
- Na 2 O which is an alkali metal oxide
- K 2 O is an essential component for stabilizing glass, but if it exceeds 5% by weight, it impairs water resistance and increases the amount of acid elution, which is not preferable. If the total amount of Na 2 O and K 2 O is less than 1% by weight, the melting point will be high and it will be difficult to form glass, and if it is more than 17% by weight, it will be too soluble in acid, making it undesirable as a slow-release fertilizer.
- Alkaline earth metal oxides have the same effect as alkali metal oxides in that they cut the glass skeleton and increase the amount of acid elution, but the degree of action is different, and alkaline earth metal oxides are more effective. works smoothly.
- CaO is less than 10% by weight, the melting point becomes high and it is difficult to form glass, and when it is more than 20% by weight, it becomes too soluble in acids.
- MgO is an essential component for stabilizing glass, but if it is contained in an amount exceeding 26% by weight, glass will easily dissolve in acids and will not become a slow-release fertilizer.
- the total amount of MgO and CaO in the alkaline earth metal oxide is 13 to 35% by weight, which is suitable for glass properties intended for fertilizer use.
- the total amount of MnO 2 , Fe 2 O 3 , B 2 O 3 , CuO, ZnO , and MoO 3 is adjusted to 15 to 65% by weight of the total by weight when preparing the raw materials. It is possible to add These components are trace amounts of essential components of plants, and these trace components will also be eluted depending on the rate at which glass dissolves in weak acids. Therefore, in addition to the main components such as SiO 2 , B 2 O 3 and Al 2 O 3 , it is expected that these minor components will also dissolve in a similar manner.
- root acids organic acids
- various organic acids such as citric acid
- citric acid organic acids
- what is important is what contributes to solubility in citric acid, and how much of this is included in the overall composition.
- Na 2 O and K 2 O which are alkali metal oxides
- alkaline earth metal oxides such as MgO and CaO similarly have the function of "cutting" the glass framework, but alkaline earth metal oxides work more gently and are therefore used to adjust the melting process of glass.
- Cheap By changing the blending ratio of each component that forms the glass, the ease of making glass and the slow-release properties of the fertilizer can be adjusted.
- Example 1> ⁇ Method for producing glassy fertilizer>
- the raw materials were prepared to have the composition shown in Table 1, and the mixed batch was placed in a clay crucible and heated in a gas furnace. After holding at 1280°C for 1 hour, the crucible was taken out and the melt was placed on a water-cooled stainless steel roll. It was poured out and rapidly cooled to obtain a thin glass sample. Manganese ore, calcium carbonate, borax, feldspar, silica stone, soda ash, etc. were used as glass raw materials. This thin glass sample was crushed to the extent that about 80% of the sample passed through a 150 ⁇ m mesh sieve to obtain a glassy fertilizer for plant cultivation.
- solubility in acetic acid and ammonium acetate was evaluated using the following reagents.
- Each reagent was prepared and the solubility in acetic acid and ammonium acetate was evaluated by performing the same operation as in the above evaluation of citric acid solubility.
- the results of the elution amount and elution rate of Mn and B in each case are shown in Table 2 below. Note that the data in the lower row for each case shows the ratio when the elution rate with 2 wt % citric acid is defined as 100.
- the elution rate for each added component is (1) 95% or more for 1.0 M acetic acid, (2) approximately 80% for 1.0 M ammonium acetate (pH 4.5), and (3 ) It is desirable to have an elution rate of about 20% with 1.0M ammonium acetate (pH 7.0), and as a result of examining each case, the elution characteristics of trace elements were good.
- Comparative Example 1 B 2 O 3 exceeds 30% by weight as a composition, and since CaO + MgO is small, the amount of Na 2 O + K 2 O is relatively large, making it easier to elute, so the elution rate to ammonium acetate is low. too high. In this case, it dissolves into the soil in a short period of time, making it impossible to stably supply trace elements over a long period of time.
- Comparative Example 2 has a high composition of SiO 2 + Al 2 O 3 of 48%, and there are relatively few alkali metal oxides and alkaline earth metal oxides, so a glass skeleton is formed too much and it becomes difficult to elute. , the elution rate to ammonium acetate is too low. This dissolves too slowly in the soil and does not provide enough trace elements to plants. (Blank below)

- the 100 grain weight increased by 1.2 times
- the grain weight (yield) per pot increased by 2 times.
- the index was set to 100, it was confirmed that when the fertilizer of the present invention was applied, it increased to 236, about 2.4 times. (Blank below)
- Example 2 Application test for broccoli Broccoli was conventionally cultivated in an open field with pale black soil. The above Example 1 was applied to the test plot. In addition, without applying Example 1 to the non-application area, broccoli seedlings were planted and conventionally cultivated. As a common fertilizer, a water-soluble chemical fertilizer was applied to the soil in the amount of 20 g of nitrogen, 20 g of phosphorus, and 20 g of potassium per square meter.
- the present invention is suitably used, for example, as a citric acid-soluble glassy fertilizer for plant cultivation containing trace elements, with the shape etc. adjusted appropriately.

Description

<実施例1>
