Description

室内機及びこれを備えた空気調和装置
 本開示は、室内機及びこれを備えた空気調和装置に関するものである。
 遠心送風機の半径方向周囲に熱交換器を配置し、遠心送風機及び熱交換器を、遠心送風機の軸線に垂直な断面での形状が方形のケーシングに収容し、送風機軸線方向に吸込んだ空気を半径方向に吐出して熱交換器を通過させ、熱交換器を通過した空気の向きを軸線方向に変えてケーシングに形成されたユニット吹出口から吸込み方向と逆方向に吐出させる空気調和装置の室内機において、熱交換器の遠心送風機軸線方向のユニット吹出口に近い側の端部は、遠心送風機の軸線に垂直な平面での断面の形状が、遠心送風機の吹出口に対向する位置の熱交換器よりも、方形に近い形状であるものが知られている(例えば、特許文献1参照)。

 ケーシング内における遠心ファンの外周側に熱交換器を配置した空気調和装置の室内機においては、熱交換器から吹出口に至る吹出風路の通風抵抗を低減させるために吹出風路の短手幅を拡大すると、熱交換器が内周側の遠心ファンに近づく位置に配置されることになる。熱交換器が内周側に配置されると、熱交換器の周方向の長さが短くなり、熱交換器の通風面積が縮小する。このため、熱交換器の通風抵抗が増大し、吹出風路の通風抵抗を低減させた効果が十分に得られない。また、特許文献1に示されるような空気調和装置の室内機においては、遠心送風機の軸線に垂直な平面での断面の形状が、遠心送風機の吹出口に対向する位置の熱交換器で円形に近い形状になるため、やはり熱交換器の周方向の長さが短くなり、熱交換器の通風面積が縮小する。したがって、熱交換器の通風抵抗が増大し、吹出風路の通風抵抗を低減させた効果が十分に得られない。
 本開示は、このような課題を解決するためになされたものである。その目的は、熱交換器を通過する際の圧力損失の増加を抑制しつつ、熱交換器を通過した後に吹出口まで至る風路における通風抵抗を低減できる室内機及びこれを備えた空気調和装置を提供することにある。
 本開示に係る室内機は、ケーシングと、前記ケーシングの対象空間に臨む面に設けられ、吸込口及び吹出口が形成されたパネルと、前記ケーシング内に設けられた遠心ファンと、前記ケーシング内における前記遠心ファンの外周側に設けられた熱交換器と、前記ケーシング内における前記熱交換器の下方に設けられたドレンパンと、を備え、前記ドレンパンの外周と前記ケーシングの壁面との間に前記吹出口に通じる吹出風路が形成され、前記熱交換器は、第1部分と前記第1部分の下方に配置された第2部分とを有し、前記遠心ファンの外周端と前記熱交換器の内周端との距離が最も近い箇所における前記遠心ファンの回転軸に平行な断面において、前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端及び前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端は、前記遠心ファンの回転軸に平行に配置され、かつ、前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端は、前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端よりも外周側に配置され、前記断面における前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の外周端から前記ケーシングの壁面までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L1は、前記断面における前記遠心ファンの外周端から前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L2よりも小さく、前記断面における前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の外周端から前記ケーシングの壁面までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L3は、前記断面における前記遠心ファンの外周端から前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L4より大きい。

 本開示に係る室内機及びこれを備えた空気調和装置によれば、熱交換器を通過する際の圧力損失の増加を抑制しつつ、熱交換器を通過した後に吹出口まで至る風路における通風抵抗を低減できるという効果を奏する。

 図1に示すように、この実施の形態に係る空気調和装置は、室内機10と室外機20とを備えている。室内機10は、空気調和の対象となる室の内部すなわち室内に設置される。室外機20は、当該室の外部すなわち室外に設置される。室内機10は、室内機熱交換器100と遠心ファン40とを備えている。室外機20は、室外機熱交換器21、室外機ファン22、圧縮機23、膨張弁24及び四方弁25を備えている。
 室内機10と室外機20とは冷媒配管30で接続されている。冷媒配管30は、室内機10の室内機熱交換器100と室外機20の室外機熱交換器21との間で循環的に設けられている。冷媒配管30内には冷媒が封入されている。冷媒配管30内に封入される冷媒は、例えば、ジフルオロメタン(CH2F2:R32)等である。
 冷媒配管30は、室内機熱交換器100、四方弁25、圧縮機23、室外機熱交換器21及び膨張弁24を環状に接続している。したがって、室内機熱交換器100と室外機熱交換器21との間で冷媒が循環する冷媒回路が形成されている。
 圧縮機23は、供給された冷媒を圧縮して当該冷媒の圧力及び温度を高める機器である。圧縮機23は、例えば、ロータリ圧縮機、スクロール圧縮機、レシプロ圧縮機等を用いることができる。膨張弁24は、室外機熱交換器21で凝縮された冷媒を膨張させ、当該冷媒を減圧する。
 室内機熱交換器100は、室内機熱交換器100に流入した冷媒と室内機熱交換器100の周囲の空気との間で熱を交換させる。遠心ファン40は、室内の空気が室内機熱交換器100の周囲を通過するように送風し、室内機熱交換器100における冷媒と空気との間での熱交換を促進するとともに、熱交換により加熱又は冷却された空気を再び室内に送り出す。室外機熱交換器21は、室外機熱交換器21に流入した冷媒と室外機熱交換器21の周囲の空気との間で熱を交換させる。室外機ファン22は、室外の空気が室外機熱交換器21の周囲を通過するように送風し、室外機熱交換器21における冷媒と空気との間での熱交換を促進する。
 このようにして構成された冷媒回路は、室内機熱交換器100及び室外機熱交換器21のそれぞれにおいて冷媒と空気の間で熱交換を行うことにより、室内機10と室外機20との間で熱を移動させるヒートポンプとして働く。この際、四方弁25を切り換えることにより、冷媒回路における冷媒の循環方向を反転させて空気調和機の冷房運転と暖房運転とを切り換えることができる。
 図2から図4に示すように、ここで説明する構成例の室内機10は、天井埋込型(天井カセット型)である。すなわち、部屋の天井に室内機10が埋設されている。室内機10は、ケーシング11とパネル12を備えている。ケーシング11は、下面が開放された箱状を呈する。パネル12は、ケーシング11の下面に取り付けられる。ケーシング11は、部屋の天井に埋め込まれる。パネル12は、天井において部屋1内に露出する。ケーシング11の下面は、空気調和の対象となる空間(以下、「対象空間」ともいう)に臨む面である。したがって、パネル12は、ケーシング11の対象空間に臨む面に設けられている。
 パネル12には、吸込口13及び吹出口14が形成されている。吸込口13は、外部からケーシング11の内部に空気を取り込むための開口である。吹出口14は、ケーシング11の内部から外部へと空気を排出するための開口である。パネル12は四角形状を呈する。パネル12の中央部には、吸込口13が配置されている。そして、パネル12の四角形状の各辺に沿って、吹出口14が配置されている。図示の構成例では、パネル12には4つの吹出口14が形成されている。
 ケーシング11の内部には、室内機熱交換器100及び遠心ファン40が収容されている。遠心ファン40は、ケーシング11内部に吸込側が下方に向けられて設けられている。遠心ファン40は、ファンモータ50により回転が駆動される。ファンモータ50は、本体3の天面側に取り付けられている。遠心ファン40の下方で、かつ、吸込口13の上方には、ベルマウス15が設けられている。ベルマウス15は、遠心ファン40へ空気を導入するためのものである。
 遠心ファン40は、主板部42と側板部43と複数枚の翼41とを備えている。主板部42は、中心部が盛り上がった円板状の部材である。主板部42の中心部には、ファンモータ50のシャフトが固定される。複数枚の翼41は、主板部42の周縁部において、主板部42の周方向に放射状に配置されている。
 それぞれの翼41は、一端が主板部42と接続され、他端が側板部43と接続されている。すなわち、複数の翼41のそれぞれは、主板部42と側板部43との間に配置されている。複数の翼41は、主板部42の周方向において互いに一定の間隔をあけて配置されている。
 側板部43は、円環状の部材である。側板部43は、複数の翼41の主板部42とは反対側かつ外周側の端部に固定されている。側板部43は、複数の翼41を連結することで、各翼41の先端の位置関係を維持するとともに、複数の翼41を補強している。
 ケーシング11内における遠心ファン40の外周側には、室内機熱交換器100が設けられている。室内機熱交換器100は、遠心ファン40を環状に囲むようにして配置されている。室内機熱交換器100では、遠心ファン40により吸込口13から吸い込まれる部屋内の空気と冷媒との間で熱交換を行い冷気又は暖気が生成される。ケーシング11内における室内機熱交換器100の下方には、ドレンパン16が設けられている。ドレンパン16は、室内機熱交換器100における熱交換過程において空気が冷やされることにより当該空気中の水分が凝結して発生した結露水を受けるためのものである。ケーシング11内におけるドレンパン16の外周とケーシング11の壁面との間には、吹出口14に通じる吹出風路17が形成されている。
 以上のように構成された空気調和装置の室内機10において、ファンモータ50により遠心ファンが回転されると、吸込口13から吹出口14へと向かう空気流がケーシング11内の風路中に生成されて、吸込口13から空気が吸い込まれ、吹出口14から空気が吹き出される。吸込口13から吸い込まれた空気は、ベルマウス15を通過して、遠心ファン40の吸込側に流入する。遠心ファン40に流入した空気は、遠心ファン40の主板部42と側板部43との間から遠心ファン40の外周側に吹き出される。遠心ファン40から吹き出された空気は、室内機熱交換器100を内周側から外周側へと通過する。室内機熱交換器100を通過する際、空気は加熱又は冷却される。空気が加熱されるか冷却されるかは、空気調和装置が冷房運転であるか暖房運転であるかによる。室内機熱交換器100を通過した空気は、室内機熱交換器100とケーシング11の壁面との間を通った後、ドレンパン16とケーシング11の壁面との間の吹出風路17を通過して吹出口14から吹き出す。
 この実施の形態に係る空気調和装置の室内機10においては、室内機熱交換器100は、第1部分110と第2部分120とを有している。第2部分120は、第1部分110の下方に配置されている。室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110と第2部分120とは、一体であってもよいし分割されていてもよい。図示の例では、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110と第2部分120とは分割されている。

 図3に示すように、断面Aにおいて、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端及び室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端は、遠心ファン40の回転軸に平行に配置されている。また、断面Aにおいて、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端は、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端よりも外周側に配置されている。

 この実施の形態に係る室内機10においては、以上のように定めた距離L1、L2、L3及びL4について、次の(1)式及び(2)式の関係が成立している。

 すなわち、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L1は、断面Aにおける遠心ファン40の外周端から室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L2よりも小さい。そして、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L3は、断面Aにおける遠心ファン40の外周端から室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L4より大きい。
 なお、図3に示す構成例では、断面Aにおける遠心ファン40の外周端から室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の外周端までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離と、断面Aにおける遠心ファン40の外周端から室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の外周端までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離は同一である。そして、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端から外周端までの幅は、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端から外周端までの幅よりも大きい。
 以上のように構成された室内機10においては、室内機熱交換器100の主に第1部分110が、遠心ファン40の主板部42と側板部43との間に対向して配置されている。遠心ファン40の主板部42と側板部43との間から吹き出す気流の多くは、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120よりも第1部分110を通過する。このため、室内機熱交換器100の通風抵抗は、第1部分110の通風面積の大小の影響が大きい。
 この実施の形態に係る室内機10においては、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110では遠心ファン40までの距離L2を大きくすることで、室内機熱交換器100の通風面積を大きくすることができ、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110における通風抵抗を低減できる。一方、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120ではケーシング11の壁面までの距離L3を大きくすることで、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110及び第2部分120を通過して吹出風路17及び吹出口に至る風路の断面積を拡大し、この風路の通風抵抗を低減できる。したがって、室内機熱交換器100を通過する際の圧力損失の増加を抑制しつつ、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後に吹出口14まで至る風路における通風抵抗を低減できる。そして、室内機熱交換器100から吹出口14までの通風抵抗を低減することで、ファンモータ50の消費電力及び騒音の低減を図ることが可能である。
 次に、この実施の形態に係る室内機10の変形例について説明する。図5は、室内機10の第1変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。室内機熱交換器100は、3つ以上の部分に分割されていてもよい。第1変形例では、室内機熱交換器100は、第1部分110及び第2部分120に加えて、第3部分130をさらに有している。第3部分130は、第2部分120のさらに下方に配置されている。
 断面Aにおいて、室内機熱交換器100の第3部分130の内周端も、第1部分110及び第2部分120と同様に、遠心ファン40の回転軸に平行に配置されている。また、断面Aにおいて、室内機熱交換器100の第3部分130の内周端は、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端よりも内周側に配置されている。なお、図示の構成例においては、断面Aにおける遠心ファン40の外周端から室内機熱交換器100の第3部分130の外周端までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離は、断面Aにおける遠心ファン40の外周端から室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110及び第2部分120の外周端までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離と同一である。そして、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第3部分130の内周端から外周端までの幅は、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端から外周端までの幅よりも大きい。
 図6は、室内機10の第2変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。この第2変形例は、前述の距離L1を、前述の距離L3より小さくしたものである。室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の気流は、下向きに転向され、下側ほど室内機熱交換器100を通過した気流が集まり風速が速くなる。したがって、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の風路においては、下側に対し上側は風速が遅いため、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの距離L1を小さくしても、これによる通風抵抗の増加の影響を小さく抑えることができる。したがって、室内機熱交換器100を通過する際の圧力損失の増加を抑制しつつ、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後に吹出口14まで至る風路における通風抵抗を低減できる。
 図7は、室内機10の第3変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。この第3変形例は、前述した第2変形例において、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端から外周端までの幅を、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端から外周端までの幅よりも大きくしたものである。前述したように、遠心ファン40からの気流は主に主板部42と側板部43との間から吹き出すため、室内機熱交換器100の上側の第1部分110に流入する風速の方が室内機熱交換器100の下側の第2部分120に流入する風速よりも速い。第1部分110の幅を大きくして通風距離を長くすることで、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110を通過した気流の速度を遅くし、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の気流の風速の均一化を図ることが可能である。
 図8は、室内機10の第4変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。この第4変形例においては、主板部42側の翼41の外径は、側板部43側の翼41の外径よりも大きい。特に図示の例では、翼41の外径が側板部43側から主板部42側に近づくにつれて次第に大きくなっている。室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110から遠心ファン40までの距離L2を大きくすることで、主板部42側の翼41の外径を拡大できる。そして、主板部42側の翼41の外径を拡大することで、遠心ファン40の風量を増大させることができる。また、同じ風量を得るための遠心ファン40の回転数を下げることができるため、騒音の低減を図ることが可能である。
 図9は、室内機10の第5変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。この第5変形例においては、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の上端は、遠心ファン40の側板部43より下方に配置されている。このため、遠心ファン40からの気流のうち、室内機熱交換器100の下側の第2部分120への流入量を低減させ、室内機熱交換器100の上側の第1部分110への流入量を増大させることができる。そして、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110から遠心ファン40までの距離L2を大きくすることで、遠心ファン40からの気流が室内機熱交換器100に流入するまでの距離を長くできる。
 ここで、遠心ファン40の回転軸方向から見ると、遠心ファン40からの気流は遠心ファン40の回転方向に旋回する旋回成分を有している。このため、遠心ファン40からの気流が室内機熱交換器100に流入する際には気流の方向が転向される。遠心ファン40からの気流が室内機熱交換器100に流入するまでの距離を長くすることで、このような室内機熱交換器100に流入する際の気流の急転向を緩和でき、室内機熱交換器100の通風抵抗のさらなる低減を図ることが可能である。
 図10は、室内機10の第6変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。この第6変形例においては、室内機10は導水部121をさらに備えている。導水部121は、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の外周側に設けられている。導水部121は、結露水を室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110から第2部分120に導くためのものである。図示の構成例では、室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120が有するフィンを外周側に延長することで導水部121が形成されている。そして、導水部121の外周端は、上から下にいくにつれて次第に内周側に位置するように傾斜している。
 室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110が第2部分120よりも外周側に突出していると、第1部分110の外周端の下端部に溜まった結露水が風路中に飛ばされやすくなる。導水部121を備えることで、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110で生じた結露水を導水部121を介して第2部分120に導くことができる。そして、第2部分120に導かれた結露水をドレンパンに回収できる。このため、第1部分110で生じた結露水が第1部分110から風路中に飛ばされて、吹出口14からケーシング11の外部に放出されてしまうことを抑制することが可能である。
 図11は、室内機10の第7変形例を示す断面Aにおける断面図である。この第7変形例においても、これまでの構成例と同様に、室内機熱交換器100は、第1部分110と第2部分120とを有している。図示の構成例では、第1部分110と第2部分120とは一体になっている。そして、断面Aにおいて、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端及び室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端は、遠心ファン40の回転軸に平行に配置されている。
 この第7変形例に係る室内機10においては、前述した距離L1は、前述した距離L3より小さい。すなわち、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L1は、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの遠心ファン40の回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L3より小さい。
 なお、図11に示す構成例では、前述した距離L2と前述した距離L4とは同一である。そして、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の内周端から外周端までの幅は、断面Aにおける室内機熱交換器100の第2部分120の内周端から外周端までの幅よりも大きい。
 以上のように構成された第7変形例に係る室内機10においては、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の気流は、下向きに転向され、下側ほど室内機熱交換器100を通過した気流が集まり風速が速くなる。したがって、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の風路においては、下側に対し上側は風速が遅いため、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの距離L1を小さくしても、これによる通風抵抗の増加の影響を小さく抑えることができる。したがって、室内機熱交換器100を通過する際の圧力損失の増加を抑制しつつ、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後に吹出口14まで至る風路における通風抵抗を低減できる。
 また、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の幅を第2部分120の幅よりも大きくすることで、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110を通過する気流の風速を遅くできるため、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の風路における風速を、下側に対し上側でさらに遅くできる。このため、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110の外周端からケーシング11の壁面までの距離L1を小さくしても、これによる通風抵抗の増加の影響をさらに小さく抑えることが可能である。
 したがって、室内機熱交換器100の第1部分110を、遠心ファン40から遠ざけ、ケーシング11の壁面に近づけることによる通風抵抗の変化としては、室内機熱交換器100の通風面積を大きくすることによる有利な影響が室内機熱交換器100を通過した後の通風抵抗の増加の影響を上回ることになる。よって、総合的に見ると、室内機熱交換器100を通過する際の圧力損失の増加を抑制しつつ、室内機熱交換器100を通過した後に吹出口14まで至る風路における通風抵抗を低減できる。そして、室内機熱交換器100から吹出口14までの通風抵抗を低減することで、ファンモータ50の消費電力及び騒音の低減を図ることが可能である。
 本開示は、ケーシング内に遠心ファンと遠心ファンの外周側に設けられた熱交換器とを有する室内機及びこれを備えた空気調和装置に利用できる。

Claims (8)

  1.  ケーシングと、
     前記ケーシングの対象空間に臨む面に設けられ、吸込口及び吹出口が形成されたパネルと、
     前記ケーシング内に設けられた遠心ファンと、
     前記ケーシング内における前記遠心ファンの外周側に設けられた熱交換器と、
     前記ケーシング内における前記熱交換器の下方に設けられたドレンパンと、を備え、
     前記ドレンパンの外周と前記ケーシングの壁面との間に前記吹出口に通じる吹出風路が形成され、
     前記熱交換器は、第1部分と前記第1部分の下方に配置された第2部分とを有し、
     前記遠心ファンの外周端と前記熱交換器の内周端との距離が最も近い箇所における前記遠心ファンの回転軸に平行な断面において、前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端及び前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端は、前記遠心ファンの回転軸に平行に配置され、かつ、前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端は、前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端よりも外周側に配置され、
     前記断面における前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の外周端から前記ケーシングの壁面までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L1は、前記断面における前記遠心ファンの外周端から前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L2よりも小さく、
     前記断面における前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の外周端から前記ケーシングの壁面までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L3は、前記断面における前記遠心ファンの外周端から前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L4より大きい室内機。
  2.  前記距離L1は、前記距離L3より小さい請求項1に記載の室内機。
  3.  前記断面において、前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端から外周端までの幅は、前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端から外周端までの幅よりも大きい請求項2に記載の室内機。
  4.  前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の外周側に設けられ、結露水を前記熱交換器の前記第1部分から前記第2部分に導く導水部をさらに備えた請求項2又は請求項3に記載の室内機。
  5.  前記遠心ファンは、
     主板部と、
     前記主板部の下方に配置された側板部と、
     前記主板部と前記側板部との間に放射状に配置された複数の翼と、を備え、
     前記主板部側の前記翼の外径は、前記側板部側の前記翼の外径よりも大きい請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の室内機。
  6.  前記遠心ファンは、
     主板部と、
     前記主板部の下方に配置された側板部と、
     前記主板部と前記側板部との間に放射状に配置された複数の翼と、を備え、
     前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の上端は、前記側板部より下方に配置される請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の室内機。
  7.  ケーシングと、
     前記ケーシングの対象空間に臨む面に設けられ、吸込口及び吹出口が形成されたパネルと、
     前記ケーシング内に設けられた遠心ファンと、
     前記ケーシング内における前記遠心ファンの外周側に設けられた熱交換器と、
     前記ケーシング内における前記熱交換器の下方に設けられたドレンパンと、を備え、
     前記ドレンパンの外周と前記ケーシングの壁面との間に前記吹出口に通じる吹出風路が形成され、
     前記熱交換器は、第1部分と前記第1部分の下方に配置された第2部分とを有し、
     前記遠心ファンの外周端と前記熱交換器の内周端との距離が最も近い箇所における前記遠心ファンの回転軸に平行な断面において、前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の内周端及び前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の内周端は、前記遠心ファンの回転軸に平行に配置され、
     前記断面における前記熱交換器の前記第1部分の外周端から前記ケーシングの壁面までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L1は、前記断面における前記熱交換器の前記第2部分の外周端から前記ケーシングの壁面までの前記回転軸に垂直な方向の距離L3より小さい室内機。
  8.  請求項1から請求項7のいずれか一項に記載の室内機を備えた空気調和装置。
