本発明は、種々の消毒対象に対して長期間消毒効果を付与できる消毒剤組成物に関する。
生活環境、企業の業務環境、飲食店環境、店舗環境等への衛生志向が向上し、ヒトの手指だけでなく、ドアノブ、机、椅子、種々の工具・器具類、テーブル、食器、メガネ、携帯電話、台所、リビングルーム、トイレ、浴室、洗面所、車内、繊維製品、被服等への衛生志向が高まっている。また、新型コロナウイルス、新型インフルエンザの世界的な蔓延も大きな要因となって、細菌やカビ等の真菌類のみならず、種々のウイルスを簡便に不活性化し、生活環境を取り巻く物品等を抗菌化・抗ウイルス化することで被感染や2次感染のリスクを軽減することが望まれている。
これらの物品やヒトの手指の消毒剤としては、液状、噴霧剤、シート状の消毒剤が数多く上市されている。それらの有効成分としては、エタノール、塩化ベンザルコニウム、塩化セチルピリジニウム、フェノキシエタノール、銀イオン、イソプロピルメチルフェノール、安息香酸ナトリウムなどが使用されている。
このうち、塩化ベンザルコニウムは、抗菌効果が高く医薬品、医薬部外品に汎用されている(種々の消毒剤及び非特許文献1)。また、塩化ベンザルコニウムは、デオドラント組成物(特許文献1)やニキビ治療剤(特許文献2)にも応用されている。

本発明によれば、塩化ベンザルコニウムの長期安定性が良好で、消毒対象である物品(以下、物品等ともいう)上での乾燥が速く、当該物品への付着性に優れ、物品等への消毒効果を長期間維持できる消毒剤組成物が提供できる。
本発明の消毒剤組成物は、(A)塩化ベンザルコニウム、(B)パラベン類、(C)エタノール、及び(D)pH緩衝剤を特定量含有する。
成分(A)塩化ベンザルコニウムは、真菌・グラム陽性菌・グラム陰性菌に対して殺菌効果を発揮することが知られており、その作用機序は、細菌の細胞膜表面のタンパク質を変性させて活性を失わせるものであり、この作用が殺菌・消毒効果として機能している。

成分(B)パラベン類は、通常防腐剤として使用されるが、本発明においては組成物の長期安定性に寄与するだけでなく、特に塩化ベンザルコニウムの物品等への付着性向上に寄与する。この塩化ベンザルコニウムの物品等への付着性向上効果は、種々の防腐剤の中で、パラベン類が特に優れている。
パラベン類としては、メチルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸メチル)、エチルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸エチル)、プロピルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸プロピル)及びブチルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸ブチル)が挙げられ、これらから選ばれる1種又は2種以上が用いられる。
成分(B)の本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、消毒作用、物品等への付着性向上、長期安定性の観点から、0.005質量%以上0.2質量%以下が好ましい。また、成分(B)の含有量は、0.01質量%以上0.2質量%以下がより好ましく、0.05質量%以上0.2質量%以下がさらに好ましい。
パラベン類としては、メチルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸メチル)、エチルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸エチル)、プロピルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸プロピル)及びブチルパラベン(パラオキシ安息香酸ブチル)が挙げられ、これらから選ばれる1種又は2種以上が用いられる。
成分(B)の本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、消毒作用、物品等への付着性向上、長期安定性の観点から、0.005質量%以上0.2質量%以下が好ましい。また、成分(B)の含有量は、0.01質量%以上0.2質量%以下がより好ましく、0.05質量%以上0.2質量%以下がさらに好ましい。
本発明の消毒剤組成物中の成分(A)と成分(B)との質量比(A/B)は、優れた物品等への付着性向上効果の観点から、0.5以上20以下が好ましく、0.5以上10以下がより好ましく、0.5以上5以下がさらに好ましく、0.5以上4以下がよりさらに好ましい。
成分(C)エタノールは、成分(A)及び成分(B)の溶媒として機能するだけでなく、組成物の長期安定性、及び物品等に組成物を塗布した後、速やかに揮散することにより成分(A)及び成分(B)を物品等の表面上に付着した状態で残存させる機能を有する。
成分(C)の本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、消毒作用、物品等への付着性向上、物品表面の変性が起こらないこと、乾燥速度、組成物の長期安定性、刺激性の観点から、5質量%以上30質量%以下が好ましい。成分(C)の含有量が30質量%を超えると、組成物の速乾性は向上するが、消毒対象とする物品の表面が変性することがある。また、成分(C)の含有量は、5質量%以上25質量%以下がより好ましく、5質量%以上20質量%以下がさらに好ましい。
成分(C)の本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、消毒作用、物品等への付着性向上、物品表面の変性が起こらないこと、乾燥速度、組成物の長期安定性、刺激性の観点から、5質量%以上30質量%以下が好ましい。成分(C)の含有量が30質量%を超えると、組成物の速乾性は向上するが、消毒対象とする物品の表面が変性することがある。また、成分(C)の含有量は、5質量%以上25質量%以下がより好ましく、5質量%以上20質量%以下がさらに好ましい。
成分(D)pH緩衝剤は、組成物のpHを調節する機能だけでなく、組成物の長期安定性及び成分(A)の付着性の向上に寄与する。
成分(D)のpH緩衝剤としては、具体的には、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、トリエタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、コハク酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸、トリスヒドロキシメチルアミノメタン、乳酸、リン酸、ホウ酸及びそれらの塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上が挙げられる。成分(A)の付着性向上効果の点から、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、コハク酸、フマル酸、乳酸及びそれらの塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上が好ましく、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、乳酸及びその塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上がより好ましく、クエン酸及びその塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上がさらに好ましい。ここで、塩としては、アルカリ金属塩が好ましく、ナトリウム塩がより好ましい。
成分(D)の本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、組成物の長期安定性及び成分(A)の付着性の向上の観点から、0.3mM以上10mM未満が好ましい。
また、成分(D)の含有量は、0.5mM以上10mM未満がより好ましく、1mM以上10mM未満がより好ましく、2mM以上10mM未満がよりさらに好ましい。
成分(D)のpH緩衝剤としては、具体的には、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、トリエタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、コハク酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸、トリスヒドロキシメチルアミノメタン、乳酸、リン酸、ホウ酸及びそれらの塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上が挙げられる。成分(A)の付着性向上効果の点から、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、コハク酸、フマル酸、乳酸及びそれらの塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上が好ましく、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、乳酸及びその塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上がより好ましく、クエン酸及びその塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上がさらに好ましい。ここで、塩としては、アルカリ金属塩が好ましく、ナトリウム塩がより好ましい。
成分(D)の本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、組成物の長期安定性及び成分(A)の付着性の向上の観点から、0.3mM以上10mM未満が好ましい。
また、成分(D)の含有量は、0.5mM以上10mM未満がより好ましく、1mM以上10mM未満がより好ましく、2mM以上10mM未満がよりさらに好ましい。
本発明の消毒剤組成物のpHは、組成物の長期安定性及び成分(A)の付着性の向上の観点から、6.0~7.0が好ましい。より好ましいpHは6.0~6.8であり、さらに好ましいpHは6.0超6.8以下である。pHの調整は、前記成分(D)により行うのが好ましい。
本発明の消毒剤組成物には、前記成分のほか、セチルピリジニウム塩化物、フェノキシエタノール、銀イオン、イソプロピルメチルフェノール、安息香酸ナトリウムなどの防腐、殺菌成分を含有させることができる。これらの防腐、殺菌成分のうち、(E)フェノキシエタノールを含有させるのが、殺菌消毒作用を維持し、組成物の長期安定性を確保し、成分(A)の付着性向上効果を確保する観点から好ましい。
(E)フェノキシエタノールの本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、前記殺菌消毒作用を維持し、組成物の長期安定性を確保し、成分(A)の付着性向上効果を確保する観点から、0.01質量%以上1質量%が好ましく、0.1質量%以上1質量%がより好ましく、0.3質量%以上1質量%がさらに好ましい。
(E)フェノキシエタノールの本発明消毒剤組成物中の含有量は、前記殺菌消毒作用を維持し、組成物の長期安定性を確保し、成分(A)の付着性向上効果を確保する観点から、0.01質量%以上1質量%が好ましく、0.1質量%以上1質量%がより好ましく、0.3質量%以上1質量%がさらに好ましい。
本発明の消毒剤組成物には、前記成分のほか、水、メントールなどの清涼化剤、緑茶エキス、柿タンニン等の植物エキス等を含有させることができる。
また、グリセリン、プロピレングリコール、1,3-ブチレングリコール、ペンチレングリコール、ソルビットなどの多価アルコール、カルボキシビニルポリマーなどのアニオン性高分子、シリコーン、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油、ポリオキシエチレンイソセチルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンベヘニルエーテル、N-ヤシ油脂肪酸アシル-L-アルギニンエチル・DL-ピロリドンカルボン酸塩などの界面活性剤は成分(A)の物品等への付着性の観点から、実質的に含有しないことが好ましい。特に、界面活性剤は、成分(A)の物品等への付着性の観点から、実質的に含有しないことが好ましい。ここで、実質的に含有しないとは、含有量が0.1質量%未満か又は含有しないことをいう。
また、グリセリン、プロピレングリコール、1,3-ブチレングリコール、ペンチレングリコール、ソルビットなどの多価アルコール、カルボキシビニルポリマーなどのアニオン性高分子、シリコーン、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油、ポリオキシエチレンイソセチルエーテル、ポリオキシエチレンベヘニルエーテル、N-ヤシ油脂肪酸アシル-L-アルギニンエチル・DL-ピロリドンカルボン酸塩などの界面活性剤は成分(A)の物品等への付着性の観点から、実質的に含有しないことが好ましい。特に、界面活性剤は、成分(A)の物品等への付着性の観点から、実質的に含有しないことが好ましい。ここで、実質的に含有しないとは、含有量が0.1質量%未満か又は含有しないことをいう。
本発明の消毒剤組成物は、均一液体状であるのが本発明の効果を奏する点、スプレーにより物品等に噴霧し、素早く乾燥することで、組成物が効果的に残留することから、粘性のない液状であることが好ましい。
本発明の消毒剤組成物は、前記のように消毒成分である塩化ベンザルコニウムを含有し、長期間安定であり、かつ物品等への付着性に優れていることから、種々の物品の消毒剤として有用である。ここで、消毒作用には、前記のごとく、抗菌作用、除菌作用、抗ウイルス作用、除ウイルス作用が含まれる。
物品とは、ヒトの身体以外の消毒を必要とする物品であればよく、例えば、生活環境、企業の業務環境、飲食店環境、店舗環境、医療環境等に存在する物品である。具体的には、ドアノブ、机、椅子、テーブルなどの家具類、種々の工具・器具類、食器、メガネ、携帯電話、台所、リビングルーム、トイレ、浴室、洗面所、車内、繊維製品、被服、医療器具、手術器具等が挙げられる。
物品とは、ヒトの身体以外の消毒を必要とする物品であればよく、例えば、生活環境、企業の業務環境、飲食店環境、店舗環境、医療環境等に存在する物品である。具体的には、ドアノブ、机、椅子、テーブルなどの家具類、種々の工具・器具類、食器、メガネ、携帯電話、台所、リビングルーム、トイレ、浴室、洗面所、車内、繊維製品、被服、医療器具、手術器具等が挙げられる。
本発明の消毒剤組成物は、前記のように、物品等に塗布できる形態であるのが好ましく、例えば液体状の組成物を浸透させたシート、噴霧剤が好ましく、組成物を無駄なく使用できる等の利便性から噴霧剤であるのがより好ましい。噴霧剤としては、ポンプ式噴霧剤、エアゾール剤のいずれでもよい。
これらの形態の消毒剤組成物を用いて、物品等に組成物を付着させることにより、当該物品を消毒することができる。

次に実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれら実施例に限定されない。
実施例1~22及び比較例1~18
表1~表4に記載の成分を混合して均一な液状組成物を得た。

(1)付着性試験(遠沈管への塩化ベンザルコニウム付着性)
ア.試料各2mLを遠沈管に正確にとり、正立させた開口状態で80℃の恒温槽内で放置し、完全に乾燥させる。
イ.乾燥した遠沈管に精製水5mLを遠沈管の壁面からゆっくりと加えた後、振とう機で1分振とうする。(振とう速度100rpm)
ウ.振とう機で振とう後、各試料1mLを正確にメスフラスコに取り、精製水を加えて50倍希釈する。
エ.50倍釈したものについて、HPLCを用いて、塩化ベンザルコニウムの定量を行う。
評価基準(塩化ベンザルコニウムの残存率)
◎:残存率90%以上
〇:残存率70%以上90%未満
△:残存率50%以上70%未満
×:残存率50%未満
ア.試料各2mLを遠沈管に正確にとり、正立させた開口状態で80℃の恒温槽内で放置し、完全に乾燥させる。
イ.乾燥した遠沈管に精製水5mLを遠沈管の壁面からゆっくりと加えた後、振とう機で1分振とうする。(振とう速度100rpm)
ウ.振とう機で振とう後、各試料1mLを正確にメスフラスコに取り、精製水を加えて50倍希釈する。
エ.50倍釈したものについて、HPLCを用いて、塩化ベンザルコニウムの定量を行う。
評価基準(塩化ベンザルコニウムの残存率)
◎:残存率90%以上
〇:残存率70%以上90%未満
△:残存率50%以上70%未満
×:残存率50%未満
(2)安定性試験
組成物の製造直後及び冷所(約5℃)1週間保存後に外観(析出物の有無)を目視により評価した。
評価基準
〇:析出物が全く見られない
△:やや透明度が下がると思われるが、ほとんど変化を判別できない
×:析出物が観察される

(3)噴霧した物品表面への影響
液状組成物を黒色の樹脂版表面に0.75mL噴霧し、樹脂版表面に成分の結晶等が析出するか否かを観察した。

(4)物品表面に噴霧した液状組成物の乾燥速度
液状組成物をスリ状の樹脂版(7.5cm×14cm)表面に0.1mL噴霧し、液だまりができないように塗り広げた後、25℃の恒温槽内で放置し、目視により乾燥状態を確認して、表面における乾燥速度を評価した。
この方法により5分以内に乾燥した場合を早、乾燥まで5分を超えた場合を遅と評価した。
液状組成物をスリ状の樹脂版(7.5cm×14cm)表面に0.1mL噴霧し、液だまりができないように塗り広げた後、25℃の恒温槽内で放置し、目視により乾燥状態を確認して、表面における乾燥速度を評価した。
この方法により5分以内に乾燥した場合を早、乾燥まで5分を超えた場合を遅と評価した。
(5)抗菌試験
ポリエチレン板に試験試料を1mL滴下して乾燥させ、その上に菌液(黄色ブドウ状球菌(Staphylococcus aureus)約400,000個/mL)0.4mLを載せ、5分間接触した。同時に無加工のポリエチレン板に菌液0.4mLを載せた。それぞれの菌液を培地の上で培養し、菌減少率を測定した。

○:99.9%以上
△:99.0以上99.9%未満
×:99.0%未満
ポリエチレン板に試験試料を1mL滴下して乾燥させ、その上に菌液(黄色ブドウ状球菌(Staphylococcus aureus)約400,000個/mL)0.4mLを載せ、5分間接触した。同時に無加工のポリエチレン板に菌液0.4mLを載せた。それぞれの菌液を培地の上で培養し、菌減少率を測定した。

○:99.9%以上
△:99.0以上99.9%未満
×:99.0%未満
評価結果を表1~表4に示す。
表1~表4から、(A)塩化ベンザルコニウム 0.06質量%以上0.2質量%以下、(B)パラベン類 0.005質量%以上0.2質量%以下、(C)エタノール 5質量%以上30質量%以下、及び(D)pH緩衝剤 0.3mM以上10mM未満を含有し、pHが6.0~7.0である消毒剤組成物が、長期安定性に優れ、かつ物品表面への付着性に優れていることがわかる。
表1~表4から、(A)塩化ベンザルコニウム 0.06質量%以上0.2質量%以下、(B)パラベン類 0.005質量%以上0.2質量%以下、(C)エタノール 5質量%以上30質量%以下、及び(D)pH緩衝剤 0.3mM以上10mM未満を含有し、pHが6.0~7.0である消毒剤組成物が、長期安定性に優れ、かつ物品表面への付着性に優れていることがわかる。
Claims (10)
- 次の成分(A)~(D)を含有し、pHが6.0~7.0である消毒剤組成物。
(A)塩化ベンザルコニウム 0.06質量%以上0.2質量%以下、
(B)パラベン類 0.005質量%以上0.2質量%以下、
(C)エタノール 5質量%以上30質量%以下、及び
(D)pH緩衝剤 0.3mM以上10mM未満 - パラベン類が、メチルパラベン、エチルパラベン、プロピルパラベン及びブチルパラベンから選ばれる1種又は2種以上である請求項1記載の消毒剤組成物。
- pH緩衝剤が、クエン酸、リンゴ酸、酒石酸、トリエタノールアミン、ジエタノールアミン、コハク酸、フマル酸、マレイン酸、トリスヒドロキシメチルアミノメタン、乳酸、リン酸、ホウ酸及びそれらの塩から選ばれる1種又は2種以上である請求項1又は2記載の消毒剤組成物。
- さらに、(E)フェノキシエタノールを含有する請求項1~3のいずれか1項記載の消毒剤組成物。
- (E)フェノキシエタノールの含有量が、0.01質量%以上1質量%以下である請求項4記載の消毒剤組成物。
- 消毒液組成物である請求項1~5のいずれか1項記載の消毒剤組成物。
- 物品用消毒剤組成物である請求項1~5のいずれか1項記載の消毒剤組成物。
- 形態が、シート又は噴霧剤である請求項1~7のいずれか1項記載の消毒剤組成物。
- pH緩衝剤が、クエン酸又はその塩である請求項1~8のいずれか1項記載の消毒剤組成物。
- 物品用消毒液含有噴霧剤である請求項1~9のいずれか1項記載の消毒剤組成物。
