 従来、歯肉炎、歯周炎等の歯周疾患の予防又は治療剤として、種々の薬効成分が洗口液、液体歯磨剤等の液体口腔用組成物に配合されている。
 歯肉炎、歯周炎の原因は、プラーク(口腔バイオフィルム)中の各種細菌によるものと考えられ、これら口腔内の歯周疾患の予防又は改善に有効な手段として、プラークコントロール、特に歯周病原性の口腔バイオフィルム中の口腔内細菌数を低レベルに保つことが有用であることがいわれている。
 イソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体、特にイソプロピルメチルフェノールは、歯周病原性の口腔バイオフィルムへの浸透殺菌効果が高いことが知られている非イオン性殺菌剤であり、口腔バイオフィルムの殺菌効果を有するだけでなく、口腔バイオフィルムの形成抑制効果も有する。
 これまで、イソプロピルメチルフェノールが配合された洗口剤等の液体口腔用組成物について、製剤化技術としては、例えばイソプロピルメチルフェノールをノニオン性界面活性剤であるポリオキシエチレン(POE)硬化ヒマシ油で可溶化する技術が一般的に知られている。しかし、イソプロピルメチルフェノールを可溶化して安定化するために、ノニオン性界面活性剤の配合量を多くすると、イソプロピルメチルフェノールが不活化し、歯周病原性の口腔バイオフィルムへの殺菌力が満足に発現しなくなり、また、ノニオン性界面活性剤自体の異味が生じるという問題があった。
 このような課題に対し、従来、高分子物質、アシルタウリン塩等と組み合わせることで、ノニオン性界面活性剤量を低濃度に抑えるといった改善方法が提案されている(特許文献1~4;特開2012-131769号公報、特開2006-182663号公報、特開2007-106728号公報、特開2016-145162号公報)が、一方で、液体口腔用組成物の洗口剤に求められる使用後のすっきり感や、使用後の歯茎の引き締め感といった効果実感が損なわれたり、粘膜に対する刺激感が高まることがあり、外観安定性と効果実感との両立には改善の余地があった。
 ところで、液体口腔用組成物において、口腔疾患等によって衰えてきた歯茎に対し、歯周病等の歯茎症状の改善効果と共にその効果を実感させるには、粘膜への刺激を想起させる痛感、痺れ感ではなく、適度な引き締め感やハリ感を付与することが望ましい。
 このような課題に対し、従来、歯茎の引き締め感を付与する成分として、収斂性化合物が検討されてきた。収斂性化合物としては、ピロリン酸ナトリウム、トリポリリン酸ナトリウム等の縮合リン酸塩や、塩化ナトリウム、アラントインやその誘導体が知られている(特許文献5、6;特開昭61-155315号公報、特開平11-21219号公報)。しかし、ピロリン酸ナトリウム、トリポリリン酸ナトリウムといった低重合度の縮合リン酸塩は、高濃度での使用では粘膜剥離のおそれがあり、低濃度での使用では歯茎への実感よりも歯のキシキシ感を強く感じることから歯茎への作用感に乏しいなどの課題があった(特許文献7~9;特開平10-167940号公報、特開2009-155286号公報、国際公開第2013/180019号)。
 また、塩化ナトリウムは、歯茎の引き締め感を発現する配合量では塩味が強く使用感を損なうという問題があり、特に液体口腔用組成物では、練歯磨と比較して使用感が酷く損なわれるといった課題があった。更に、アラントインやその誘導体については、イソプロピルメチルフェノール存在下で、特定ノニオン性界面活性剤を特定pH下で組み合わせることで、高温安定性に優れ、かつ、歯茎の引き締め感にも優れる液体口腔用組成物が提案されている(特許文献10;特開2010-143889号公報)が、製剤pHの影響を受けやすく、ノニオン性界面活性剤種の制限といった課題もあった。
 このようなことから、イソプロピルメチルフェノールやその構造異性体配合の液体口腔用組成物において、pH、ノニオン性界面活性剤種等の制限を受けずに、外観安定性を確保しながら、口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果等と共に効果実感として、歯茎の引き締め感を付与する技術の開発が求められた。

 本発明は、上記事情に鑑みなされたもので、イソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体を含有し、外観安定性に優れ、かつ歯茎の引き締め感を付与し、高い効果実感を与える液体口腔用組成物を提供することを目的とする。
 本発明者らは、上記目的を達成するため鋭意検討を行った結果、非イオン性殺菌剤であるイソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体配合の液体口腔用組成物に、ノニオン性界面活性剤を配合し、かつメタリン酸又はその塩をイソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体に対して特定量比以上で組み合わせて配合すると、異味や口腔粘膜刺激を生じさせることなく良い使用感を確保して、イソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体を経時においても安定に配合して外観安定性を与え、かつ歯茎の引き締め感を付与して高い効果実感を与えることができることを知見した。
 即ち、本発明によれば、イソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体として(A)イソプロピルメチルフェノール、チモール及びカルバクロールから選ばれる1種以上と、(B)メタリン酸又はその塩と、(C)ノニオン性界面活性剤とを含有し、(B)/(A)が質量比として0.1以上である液体口腔用組成物とすることによって、外観安定性に優れ、かつ歯茎の引き締め感を付与し、高い効果実感を与えることができ、また、(A)成分由来の口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果等が損なわれることなく発揮されると共に、(A)成分、更には(C)成分に由来する異味が抑えられ、(B)成分によって口腔粘膜に対する為害を想起させる刺激感を与えることもなく、良い使用感を確保することもできることを知見し、本発明をなすに至った。
 本発明では、(A)成分配合の液体口腔用組成物に、(B)及び(C)成分を併用して配合することで、(B)/(A)の質量比が特定範囲において、(B)成分が、(A)成分の安定性を改善して高温保存後もニゴリが認められることがない顕著な外観安定性を与え、かつ使用後に歯茎の引き締め感を与えるという特異な作用を奏し、これにより、外観安定性の確保と効果実感の付与とを両立し、(B)成分に代えてピロリン酸塩、トリポリリン酸塩といった低重合度の縮合リン酸塩を使用した場合には得られない格別な作用効果を与えることができた。
 本発明の液体口腔用組成物は、(A)成分に、(B)及び(C)成分を併用して三成分が組み合わせて配合されていることで、例えば収斂性化合物であっても味に影響する塩化ナトリウムや、アラントイン又はその誘導体を添加しなくても、歯茎の引き締め感を付与し、高い効果実感を与えることができるだけでなく、外観安定性も確保できる。
 後述の比較例に示すように、(A)成分配合の液体口腔用組成物に、(B)成分が配合されていないと、(C)成分が配合されていても外観安定性が悪く、歯茎の引き締め感が低く(比較例1)、更にピロリン酸ナトリウム又はトリポリリン酸ナトリウムが添加された比較例4、5は、外観安定性が悪く、刺激感も悪く、(C)成分が増量された比較例6は、歯茎の引き締め感が低かった。また、(B)成分が配合され、(C)成分が配合されていないと、外観安定性が悪く(比較例2)、(B)及び(C)成分が配合されていても、(B)/(A)の質量比が小さすぎて特定値未満であると、外観安定性が悪かった(比較例3)。これに対して、実施例に示すように、本発明の(A)、(B)及び(C)成分が配合され、(B)/(A)の質量比が特定範囲である液体口腔用組成物は、外観安定性及び歯茎の引き締め感に優れ、刺激感及び異味についても良好であった。
 従って、本発明は、下記の液体口腔用組成物を提供する。

 (A)イソプロピルメチルフェノール、チモール及びカルバクロールから選ばれる1種以上、
(B)メタリン酸又はその塩
並びに
(C)ノニオン性界面活性剤
を含有し、(B)/(A)が質量比として0.1以上である液体口腔用組成物。
〔2〕
 (B)成分が、ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウムである〔1〕に記載の液体口腔用組成物。
〔3〕
 (C)成分が、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が40~100モルであるポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油及びアルキル基の炭素数が16~18で、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が10~40モルのポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルから選ばれる1種以上である〔1〕又は〔2〕に記載の液体口腔用組成物。

 (A)成分の含有量が0.01~0.3質量%、(B)成分の含有量が0.01~3質量%、(C)成分の含有量が0.1~1.2質量%である〔1〕~〔3〕のいずれかに記載の液体口腔用組成物。

 本発明によれば、外観安定性に優れ、かつ歯茎の引き締め感を付与し、高い効果実感を与える、使用感も良い(A)成分含有の液体口腔用組成物を提供できる。本発明の液体口腔用組成物は、(A)成分による口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果及び口腔バイオフィルム形成抑制効果を有し、歯牙への歯周病原菌の付着を抑制する効果が発揮されると共に、効果実感が高いことから、歯周炎等の歯周疾患の予防又は抑制用として有効である。
 以下、本発明につき更に詳述する。
 本発明の液体口腔用組成物は、(A)イソプロピルメチルフェノール、チモール及びカルバクロールから選ばれる1種以上、(B)メタリン酸又はその塩、並びに(C)ノニオン性界面活性剤を含有する。
 (A)成分は、イソプロピルメチルフェノール、チモール及びカルバクロールから選ばれる1種以上のイソプロピルメチルフェノール又はその構造異性体である。これらは、非イオン性殺菌剤であり、口腔バイオフィルム殺菌作用及び口腔バイオフィルム形成抑制作用を有する。
 イソプロピルメチルフェノールは、3-メチル-4-イソプロピルフェノールであり、INCI名ではシメン-5-オールとも称される。また、チモールは、2-イソプロピル-5-メチルフェノールである。カルバクロールは、5-イソプロピル-2-メチルフェノールである。これらは、1種単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
 (A)成分として具体的には、下記の市販品を使用できる。

シムライズ(株)製:イソプロピルメチルフェノール(SymOcide(登録商標)C)、チモール
富士フイルム和光純薬(株)製:カルバクロール
 (A)成分の配合量は、組成物全体の0.01~0.3%(質量%、以下同様)が好ましく、より好ましくは0.02~0.2%、更に好ましくは0.03~0.1%である。配合量が多いほど口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果及び口腔バイオフィルム形成抑制効果が発揮されるが、0.3%以下であることが、外観安定性の点で好ましく、それ自体の異味抑制の点でも好ましい。
 (B)メタリン酸又はその塩は、(A)成分配合の液体口腔用組成物において、(C)成分と併用することで、(A)成分の安定性を改善し、外観安定性を与える作用を奏し、かつ歯茎の引き締め感を与える作用を奏する。
 (B)メタリン酸又はその塩は、1%水溶液(25℃)のpHが1~8である水溶性メタリン酸塩を使用でき、具体的には、ヘキサメタリン酸塩、酸性メタリン酸塩を用いることができ、塩はナトリウム塩、カリウム塩等のアルカリ金属塩である。鎖状構造及び/又は環状構造を有するものを使用できる。重合度は、好ましくは6~60、特に10~30である。
 水溶性メタリン酸塩としては、例えば、ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウム、酸性メタリン酸ナトリウムが挙げられ、特にヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウムが好ましい。
 これらは、1種単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
 水溶性メタリン酸塩は、市販品を使用することもでき、具体例を下記に示す。

 また、FMC Corporation及びAstarisによって製造されているSodaphos(登録商標)として公知のポリリン酸塩(重合度nは約6)、Hexaphos(登録商標)(重合度nは約13)、Glass H(登録商標)(重合度nは約21)を使用することもできる。
 (B)成分の配合量は、組成物全体の0.01~3%が好ましく、より好ましくは0.05~2%、更に好ましくは0.1~1.5%であり、とりわけ0.1~1.0%が好ましい。配合量が0.01%以上であると、十分な外観安定性、歯茎の引き締め効果が得られ、3%以下であると、外観安定性が十分に確保され、また、良い味が確保され、口腔粘膜刺激も十分に防止できる。
 (C)ノニオン性界面活性剤は、可溶化剤であり、外観安定性を与える。
 ノニオン性界面活性剤としては、(A)成分の可溶化力、外観安定性、更には(A)成分の口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果等の確保、味の点から、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が40~100モル、特に60~100モルのポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油、アルキル基の炭素数が16~18で、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が10~40モル、特に20~40モルのポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルが好ましい。これらは、1種単独で又は2種以上を組み合わせて使用できる。
 ポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油のエチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が40モル以上であることが、外観安定性の確保には好適であり、100モルを超えるものは、一般には市販されていない。
 ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルのエチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が10モル以上であることが、外観安定性の確保には好適であり、40モルを超えるものは一般には市販されていない。また、上記ポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルにおいて、アルキル基の炭素数が16未満では、苦味や刺激が強く、18を超えるものは低温又は高温での外観安定性に劣る場合がある。
 このようなノニオン性界面活性剤としては、具体的に、日光ケミカルズ(株)製のNIKKOL HCO-40,60,80,100、NIKKOL BC-10,15,20、青木油脂工業(株)製のブラウノンCH-315L、日本エマルジョン(株)製のEMALEX HC-100等の市販品を使用できる。
 なお、(C)成分としては、上記以外にも、例えばソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンソルビタン脂肪酸エステル、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル等の糖アルコール脂肪酸エステル、グリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレングリセリン脂肪酸エステル、ポリエチレングリコール脂肪酸エステル等の多価アルコール脂肪酸エステル、ポリオキシエチレンポリオキシプロピレン共重合体、ポリオキシエチレンアルキルフェニルエーテル、ラウリン酸ジエタノールアミド等の脂肪酸アルカノールアミドといったノニオン性界面活性剤を使用することもできるが、上記のポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油やポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルが配合されている場合、これらノニオン性界面活性剤は配合しなくてもよい。
 (C)成分の配合量は、組成物全体の0.1~1.2%が好ましく、より好ましくは0.2~0.8%、更に好ましくは0.3~0.6%である。配合量が0.1%以上であると、十分な外観安定性が得られ、1.2%以下であると、(A)成分による口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果及び口腔バイオフィルム形成抑制効果が十分に得られると共に、それ自体の異味が十分に抑えられる。
 本発明では、特に外観安定性の点で、(A)成分と(B)成分との量比を示す(B)/(A)が、質量比として0.1以上であり、好ましくは1以上、より好ましくは2以上であり、また、上限は特に制限されないが、好ましくは100以下、より好ましくは70以下、更に好ましくは50以下である。(A)成分の比率が高く、(B)/(A)の質量比が0.1未満であると、外観安定性が劣る。(B)成分の比率が高く、(B)/(A)の質量比が100を超えると、(B)成分由来の口腔粘膜刺激が強く生じる場合がある。
 また、(B)成分と(C)成分との量比を示す(B)/(C)は、質量比として好ましくは0.1~10、より好ましくは0.2~5、更に好ましくは0.25~3.5である。上記範囲内であると、外観安定性及び歯茎の引き締め感が一層優れ、(B)成分由来の口腔粘膜刺激や(C)成分由来の異味も抑えられる。(B)成分の比率が高く、(B)/(C)の質量比が10を超えると、外観安定性が低下したり、口腔粘膜刺激が強く生じる場合があり、また、(C)成分の比率が高く、(B)/(C)の質量比が0.1未満であると、歯茎の引き締め感が損なわれたり、(C)成分由来の異味が強くなる場合がある。
 (A)成分と(C)成分との量比を示す(C)/(A)は、質量比として好ましくは1~100、より好ましくは2~50、更に好ましくは3~30である。上記範囲内であると、外観安定性が一層優れる。(A)成分の比率が高く、(C)/(A)の質量比が1未満であると、外観安定性が低下する場合があり、また、(C)成分の比率が高く、(C)/(A)の質量比が100を超えると、(A)成分による口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果等が低下する場合がある。
 本発明の液体口腔用組成物は、洗口剤、口中清涼剤、濃縮タイプ洗口剤等の剤型、特に洗口剤として調製、適用することができる。また、上記成分以外にその剤型に応じた適宜な公知成分を必要に応じて配合できる。例えば、湿潤剤、増粘剤、界面活性剤、防腐剤、甘味剤、着色料、香料、有効成分、pH調整剤、溶剤等を配合することができる。
 なお、以下において配合量を示す数値は、組成物全体に対する配合量である。
 湿潤剤は、グリセリン、ソルビトール、プロピレングリコール、エチレングリコール、ポリエチレングリコール等の多価アルコール、キシリット、マルチット、ラクチット等の糖アルコールが挙げられる。湿潤剤の配合量は、通常、0~30%である。
 増粘剤は、カルボキシメチルセルロースナトリウム、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース等のセルロース誘導体、キサンタンガム、カラギーナン、アルギン酸ナトリウム、ポリビニルアルコールが挙げられる。増粘剤の配合量は、通常、0~5%であり、配合する場合は0.01~5%である。
 なお、本発明の液体口腔用組成物、例えば洗口剤は、本発明の効果発現の点においては、増粘剤として一般的な水溶性高分子化合物、例えばセルロース誘導体等の配合量が0.01%以下でもよく、また、配合せず0%であってもよい。
 任意の界面活性剤としては、アニオン性界面活性剤、両性界面活性剤を配合でき、例えば下記に示すものを使用できる。
 アニオン性界面活性剤は、ラウリル硫酸ナトリウム等のアルキル硫酸エステル塩、ラウロイルサルコシンナトリウム、ラウロイルメチルタウリンナトリウム等のアシルサルコシン酸塩、ドデシルベンゼンスルホン酸ナトリウム、α-スルホ脂肪酸アルキルエステル・ナトリウム、アルキルリン酸エステル塩が挙げられる。
 両性界面活性剤は、アルキルジメチルアミノ酢酸ベタイン、脂肪酸アミドプロピルジメチルアミノ酢酸ベタイン等の酢酸ベタイン型、N-脂肪酸アシル-N-カルボキシメチル-N-ヒドロキシエチルエチレンジアミン塩等のイミダゾリン型が挙げられる。
 これら任意の界面活性剤の配合量は、0.01~1%、特に0.05~0.3%とすることができる。
 防腐剤は、メチルパラベン、エチルパラベン、プロピルパラベン、ブチルパラベン等のパラオキシ安息香酸エステル、安息香酸ナトリウム等の安息香酸又はその塩、塩酸アルキルジアミノエチルグリシン、ソルビン酸カリウムが挙げられる。
 甘味剤は、サッカリンナトリウム、ステビオサイト、スクラロース、還元パラチノース、エリエウリトール等が挙げられる。
 着色料は、青色1号、緑色3号、黄色4号、赤色105号等の安全性の高い水溶性色素が挙げられる。
 香料は、ペパーミント油、スペアミント油、ユーカリ油、ウィンターグリーン油、クローブ油、タイム油、セージ油、カルダモン油、ローズマリー油、マジョラム油、レモン油、ナツメグ油、ラベンダー油、パラクレス油等の天然精油、L-カルボン、1,8-シネオール、メチルサリシレート、オイゲノール、チモール、リナロール、リモネン、メントール、メントン、メンチルアセテート、シトラール、カンファー、ボルネオール、ピネン、スピラントール等の上記天然精油中に含まれる香料成分や、エチルアセテート、エチルブチレート、イソアミルアセテート、ヘキサナール、ヘキセナール、メチルアンスラニレート、エチルメチルフェニルグリシデート、ベンツアルデヒド、バニリン、エチルバニリン、フラネオール、マルトール、エチルマルトール、ガンマ/デルタデカラクトン、ガンマ/デルタウンデカラクトン、N-エチル-p-メンタン-3-カルボキサミド、メンチルラクテート、エチレングリコール-l-メンチルカーボネート等、更には、いくつかの香料成分や天然精油を組み合わせてなる、アップル、バナナ、ストロベリー、ブルーベリー、メロン、ピーチ、パイナップル、グレープ、マスカット、ワイン、チェリー、スカッシュ、コーヒー、ブランデー、ヨーグルト等の調合フレーバーが挙げられる。
 上記の香料素材は、組成物中に0.000001~1%使用するのが好ましく、上記香料素材を使用した賦香用香料は、組成物中に0.1~2%、特に0.2~2%使用するのが好ましい。
 任意の有効成分は、タイム、オウゴン、チョウジ、ハマメリス等の植物抽出物、フッ化ナトリウム、モノフルオロリン酸ナトリウム、フッ化スズ等のフッ素含有化合物、塩化セチルピリジニウム等のカチオン性殺菌剤、トラネキサム酸、イプシロン-アミノカプロン酸等の抗炎症剤、デキストラナーゼ、アミラーゼ、プロテアーゼ、ムタナーゼ、リゾチーム、溶菌酵素、リテックエンザイム等の酵素、アルミニウムクロルヒドロキシアラントイン、アラントイン、アズレン、塩化リゾチーム、アスコルビン酸等のビタミンC又はその誘導体、トコフェロール等のビタミンE又はその誘導体、ジヒドロコレステロール、グリチルリチン酸、グリチルレチン酸、ヒドロコレステロール、クロロフィル、銅クロロフィリンナトリウム、グルコン酸銅、カロペプタイド、水溶性無機リン酸化合物、ポリエチレングリコール、ポリビニルピロリドン、歯石防止剤、歯垢防止剤、硝酸カリウム、乳酸アルミニウムが挙げられる。これら有効成分は、本発明の効果を妨げない範囲で有効量を配合できる。
 pH調整剤は、リン酸、フタル酸、酢酸、フマル酸、炭酸やそれらのカリウム塩、ナトリウム塩、アンモニウム塩等の塩類、リボ核酸及びその塩類が挙げられる。
 なお、組成物のpH(25℃)は、口腔内の安全性上問題ない範囲であれば特に限定されず、pH4~9の範囲とすることができ、5~8、更には5~7でもよい。
 溶剤は、一般的に水(精製水)が用いられ、エタノール等の炭素数2~4の低級一価アルコールを用いることもできる。
 本発明の液体口腔用組成物は、水系であることが好ましく、各種成分含有量の残部(バランス)を水とすることができる。水の配合量は、好ましくは組成物全体の50~98%であり、特に65~98%、更には70~95%である。
 また、エタノールの配合量は、組成物全体の0~20%とすることができ、配合する場合は0.5~20%、特に2~10%、更には4~8%がよい。エタノールは配合しなくてもよいが、本発明では、エタノールを配合すると、特に洗口剤に調製した場合、使用後にさっぱりとした使用感を付与でき、効果実感を一層高めることもできる。
 本発明の液体口腔用組成物は、公知の容器に充填して使用できる。
 容器としては、PET(ポリエチレンテレフタレート)、ガラス、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ステンレス、アルミニウム素材等からなるボトルが使用できるが、香料の吸着抑制の点から、PET、ガラス、ステンレス、アルミニウムがより好ましい。
 また、容器として、パウチの使用も可能である。この場合、表側フィルム及び裏側フィルムには、熱融着可能であれば、種々の材料及び構成を採用することができる。例えば、ナイロン、直鎖状ポリエチレン、低密度ポリエチレン、高密度ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン等のポリオレフィン類、ポリエチレンテレフタレート等のポリエステル類といった熱可塑性樹脂を挙げることができる。また、表側フィルム及び裏側フィルムは、バリア性フィルムであるアルミ蒸着フィルムや各種蒸着フィルム、更にはアルミラミネートフィルムを挙げることができる。また、これらのフィルムを単層で、又は二種以上を積層して構成することができ、内容液に応じて適宜選択することができる。
 以下、実施例及び比較例、処方例を示し、本発明を具体的に説明するが、本発明は下記の実施例に制限されるものではない。なお、下記の例において%は特に断らない限りいずれも質量%を示す。
 [実施例、比較例]
 表1~3に示す組成の液体口腔用組成物(洗口剤)を常法によって調製し、これらをサンプルとして使用し、下記方法で評価した。結果を表に併記した。
 なお、実施例の液体口腔用組成物(洗口剤)は、口腔バイオフィルム殺菌効果及び口腔バイオフィルム形成抑制効果を有していた。
(1)外観安定性の評価方法
 調製直後の液体口腔用組成物を満注量500mLの透明なPET容器(吉野工業所製)に450mL充填し、50℃の恒温槽(三洋電機(株)製、MPR-311)に1ヶ月間保存後の外観安定性(ニゴリのなさ)を下記の評価基準で目視判定して評価した。○又は◎を合格とした。
 外観安定性(ニゴリ)の評価基準
  ◎:ニゴリが全く認められず、澄明である
  ○:ニゴリが僅かに認められるが、対照品がなければ判別できないレベ
    ルであり、澄明性は問題ない
  △:対照品がなくても判別できる程度にややニゴリが認められる
  ×:対照品と比較しなくても明らかにニゴリが認められ、PET容器の
    向こう側を透かし見るのが困難な程にごっている
(2)歯茎の引き締め感の評価方法
 被験者(歯茎症状有訴者)10名が、サンプルの液体口腔用組成物20mLを口に含み、20秒間すすいで洗口した。使用直後の歯茎の引き締め感を下記の4段階の評点基準で判定した。10名の平均点を算出し、下記の評価基準で評価した。
 評点基準
  4点:歯茎の引き締め感が非常にある
  3点:歯茎の引き締め感がかなりある
  2点:歯茎の引き締め感がややある
  1点:歯茎の引き締め感があまりない
 評価基準
  ◎:平均点3.5点以上
  ○:平均点3.0点以上3.5点未満
  △:平均点2.0点以上3.0点未満
  ×:平均点2.0点未満
(3)刺激感(刺激のなさ)の評価方法
 被験者(歯茎症状有訴者)10名が、サンプルの液体口腔用組成物20mLを口に含み、20秒間すすいで洗口し、使用中の刺激(口腔粘膜で感じられる不快な刺激感)のなさを下記の4段階の評点基準で判定した。10名の平均点を算出し、下記の評価基準で評価した。
 評点基準
  4点:不快な刺激がなかった
  3点:刺激をほとんど感じず、問題のないレベルであった
  2点:やや刺激を感じた
  1点:顕著な刺激を感じた
 評価基準
  ◎:平均点3.5点以上
  ○:平均点3.0点以上3.5点未満
  △:平均点2.0点以上3.0点未満
  ×:平均点2.0点未満
(4)異味(異味のなさ)の評価方法
 被験者(歯茎症状有訴者)10名が、サンプルの液体口腔用組成物20mLを口に含み、20秒間洗口し、洗口後の異味実感(異味のなさ)を下記の4段階の評点基準で判定した。10名の平均点を算出し、下記の評価基準で評価した。
 評点基準
  4点:異味をほとんど感じなかった
  3点:異味をあまり感じず、問題のないレベルであった
  2点:やや異味があった
  1点:顕著な異味を感じた
 評価基準
  ◎:平均点3.5点以上
  ○:平均点3.0点以上3.5点未満
  △:平均点2.0点以上3.0点未満
  ×:平均点2.0点未満

Claims (7)

  1.  (A)イソプロピルメチルフェノール、チモール及びカルバクロールから選ばれる1種以上、
    (B)メタリン酸又はその塩
    並びに
    (C)ノニオン性界面活性剤
    を含有し、(B)/(A)が質量比として0.1以上である液体口腔用組成物。
  2.  (B)成分が、ヘキサメタリン酸ナトリウムである請求項1記載の液体口腔用組成物。
  3.  (C)成分が、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が40~100モルであるポリオキシエチレン硬化ヒマシ油及びアルキル基の炭素数が16~18で、エチレンオキサイドの平均付加モル数が10~40モルのポリオキシエチレンアルキルエーテルから選ばれる1種以上である請求項1記載の液体口腔用組成物。
  4.  (A)成分の含有量が0.01~0.3質量%、(B)成分の含有量が0.01~3質量%、(C)成分の含有量が0.1~1.2質量%である請求項1記載の液体口腔用組成物。
  5.  更に、エタノールを0.5~20質量%含有する請求項1記載の液体口腔用組成物。
  6.  水分の含有量が50~98質量%である請求項1記載の液体口腔用組成物。
  7.  洗口剤である請求項1~6のいずれか1項記載の液体口腔用組成物。
