Definitions
- the present invention relates to a container loading assist device, a container carrier having the same, and a container unloading method.
- Container carriers tend to gradually increase container shipping capacity, and at the same time as increasing shipping capacity, securing stability of containers shipped during operation is attracting attention as an important factor.
- a container is loaded through a structure called a cell guide in a cargo hold provided in the front and rear directions inside the hull, and a hatch coaming installed at the entrance of the cargo hold on the upper deck of the hull.
- a hatch coaming installed at the entrance of the cargo hold on the upper deck of the hull.
- containers are loaded in multiple stages on the hatch cover.
- Containers loaded on the hatch cover are lashed using various fittings to a lashing bridge located above the space between the cargo holds to prevent them from being overturned.
- the hatch cover not only serves to block the inflow of foreign substances (seawater, rainfall, etc.) into the cargo hold while supporting the load of the container loaded on the upper deck, but also contributes to reinforcing the longitudinal strength of the container carrier.
- the cargo hold continues from the bottom of the cargo hold to the top of the upper deck due to the problem of damage to the lower container due to the load of loaded containers and the problem of trim & stability of the ship. Therefore, it is inevitable to limit the number of loaded containers (tiers) to a certain number (for example, 12 layers) or less, and to prevent green water from flowing into the deck of a ship in rough seas during ship operation In order to do this, there is a problem in that the side plate must be excessively increased compared to the container carrier of the same shipping scale and the strength of the hull must be reinforced.
- the present invention was created to solve the problems of the prior art as described above, and an object of the present invention is the number (stage) of containers continuously loaded from the bottom of the cargo hold to the top of the upper deck in a large container carrier without a hatch cover. It is to provide a container loading aid that does not require a fitting operation between a loading container and a lashing bridge to increase the loading capacity and prevent the overturning of the loaded container, a container carrier having the same, and a container unloading method.
