Description
本発明は、みずみずしくのび広がりが良好な使用感触を有する水中油型乳化化粧料に関する。
一般的に、油性成分としてエモリエント剤や粉末成分を多く配合することを可能とするために、メーキャップ用化粧料を調製する際に油中水型乳化物が好ましく用いられる。油中水型乳化物は、顔料等の粉末成分の配合に起因して、高い化粧効果を得ることができる反面、スキンケア化粧料のような、みずみずしくさっぱりした使用感触や、塗布する際ののび広がりの良さが劣る場合があった。
一方、水中油型乳化物は、みずみずしい使用感触や塗布時ののびの良さに優れることから、スキンケア化粧料のみならず、メーキャップ化粧料にも用いられる場合がある。しかし、肌の凹凸やシミ・そばかす等の色むらをカバーするために粉末成分を多く配合しようとすると、みずみずしさが劣り、粉っぽさが生じる等の使用感の低下が課題となっていた。
上記課題を克服する技術として、例えば、特許文献1では、外相である水相に会合性増粘剤と増粘多糖類を配合することによって水相を増粘し、内相である油相に特定の分散剤とともに粉末を配合することによって使用感触を向上した水中油型乳化化粧料を得ている。
上記水中油型乳化化粧料においては、水相が増粘されることに起因して弾力があり滑らかな使用感触が得られるが、水中油型乳化物特有のみずみずしい使用感触や塗布時ののびの良さの点では十分とは言えなかった。
本発明は、化粧効果として優れたカバー力を付与するために顔料を多配合した場合であっても、みずみずしくのび広がりが良好な使用感触を有する水中油型乳化化粧料を提供することを目的とする。
発明者等は、前記の課題を解決すべく鋭意検討を重ねた結果、水中油型乳化組成物において、特定の水性成分と特定のシリコーン系界面活性剤により形成させたベシクルを前駆体とするシリコーンナノディスクにより乳化することにより、油相中に顔料が配合されていても水中油型乳化物特有の使用感触が確保できることを見出し、本発明を完成するに至った。

本発明に係る化粧料は、上記構成とすることにより、みずみずしく、塗布時ののび広がりに優れ、粉っぽさがない使用感触を得ることができる。本発明によれば、内相である油相に顔料を配合することができるので、化粧効果としてカバー力を付与することができる。本発明の化粧料においては、シリコーン油を50質量%以上とすることができるので、べたつきが少なくさらっとした使用感を得ることができる。また、前記(A)~(D)成分に加え、(E)油相増粘剤を配合することにより粉末分散性を向上することができる。
本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料は、(A)1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールから選択される水性成分、(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン、(C)油分、および(D)疎水化表面を有する顔料を含むことを特徴とする。以下、本発明の化粧料を構成する各成分について詳述する。
<(A)水性成分>
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(A)水性成分(以下、単に「(A)成分」と称する場合がある)は、1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールから選択される1種または2種以上を指す。
1価アルコールとしては、化粧料に通常用いられるものであれば特に限定されないが、エチルアルコール(エタノール)、変性アルコール、ノルマルプロピルアルコール、イソプロピルアルコール等が挙げられ、本発明においては、エチルアルコールが好ましい。
2価アルコールとしては、化粧料に通常用いられるものであれば特に限定されないが、1,3-ブチレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール等が挙げられ、本発明においては、ジプロピレングリコールが好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(A)水性成分(以下、単に「(A)成分」と称する場合がある)は、1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールから選択される1種または2種以上を指す。
1価アルコールとしては、化粧料に通常用いられるものであれば特に限定されないが、エチルアルコール(エタノール)、変性アルコール、ノルマルプロピルアルコール、イソプロピルアルコール等が挙げられ、本発明においては、エチルアルコールが好ましい。
2価アルコールとしては、化粧料に通常用いられるものであれば特に限定されないが、1,3-ブチレングリコール、ジプロピレングリコール等が挙げられ、本発明においては、ジプロピレングリコールが好ましい。
界面活性剤により形成される球状ベシクルは表面がすべて親水基で覆われているが、ナノディスクはエッジ部分に親油基を有するため、ナノディスクを水中で生成させることは難しい。1価および2価のアルコールが水中に存在すると溶媒効果により界面活性剤(本発明においては、ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン)が親水化され、その結果、球状ベシクルからナノディスクへの転移が促進される。
一方、PEG-12ジメチコン等のポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンをアルコールに溶解する場合、グリセリン等の3価アルコール、ソルビトール等の多価アルコール等は界面活性剤を親油化してナノディスクへの転移を阻害する傾向があるため、3価以上のアルコールを配合する場合には、1価および2価のアルコールの総量を3価以上の多価アルコールの総量より多くすることが望ましい。
1価アルコールを単独で用いる場合には、その配合量は化粧料全量に対して1~15質量%であり、2価アルコールを単独で用いる場合には、その配合量は化粧料全量に対して1~20質量%である。また、1価アルコールと2価アルコールとを組み合わせて用いる場合には、その合計配合量は化粧料全量に対して1~45質量%であり、好ましくは1~35質量%である。より好ましくは以下の式(1)を満たす1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールの濃度を上限として配合することが好ましい。

1価アルコール単独の配合量、2価アルコール単独の配合量、1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールの合計配合量が1質量%未満であるとベシクルが生成しないか構造が乱れて乳化できなくなる場合がある。また、1価アルコール単独の配合量が15質量%を超える場合や2価アルコール単独の配合量が20質量%を超える場合、さらに1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールの配合比が上記式(1)の範囲外である場合や上記式(1)の範囲内であっても合計配合量が45質量%を超えるとベシクル膜が柔軟になりすぎるかベシクルがミセルへ転移してしまい安定化効果が得られない場合がある。
<(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン>
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン(以下、単に「(B)成分」と称する場合がある)は、疎水性基としてポリシロキサン構造、親水基としてポリオキシアルキレン構造を有する界面活性剤であり、ジメチコンのメチル基の一部をポリエチレングリコールで置換した水溶性のシリコーン系界面活性剤であることが好ましい。具体的には下記式(2)で表される。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン(以下、単に「(B)成分」と称する場合がある)は、疎水性基としてポリシロキサン構造、親水基としてポリオキシアルキレン構造を有する界面活性剤であり、ジメチコンのメチル基の一部をポリエチレングリコールで置換した水溶性のシリコーン系界面活性剤であることが好ましい。具体的には下記式(2)で表される。
前記式(2)中、R1は、水素または炭素数1~6のアルキル基であり、それぞれ同一でも、独立に異なっていてもよい。Aは、少なくともその1つが式(3):

本発明の(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンとしては、グリフィンの式によるHLB計算においてHLBが10未満であることが好ましい。

本発明の(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンとしては、グリフィンの式によるHLB計算においてHLBが10未満であることが好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料においては、(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンの中でも特に前記式(3)においてcが0、bが12であるPEG-12ジメチコンが好ましい。また、PEG-12ジメチコンはHLBが10未満であることがさらに好ましい。
PEG-12ジメチコンの市販品としては、DOWSILTM ES-5373、SH3772M,SH3773M,SH3775M(いずれもダウ・東レ社製)、IM-22(ワッカーケミカル社製)等が挙げられる。
(B)成分の配合量は、ナノディスクの前駆体であるベシクルを形成し得る限り特に限定されないが、例えば、化粧料全量に対して0.1~5.0質量%であり、好ましくは0.3~3.0質量%、さらに好ましくは0.8~2.0質量%である。配合量が0.1質量%未満であると十分にベシクルが形成されない場合があり、5.0質量%を超えるとベシクルの安定性が劣る場合がある。
本発明において、ベシクルとは二分子膜(ラメラ液晶)からなる球状閉鎖体を指す。本発明に係る化粧料は、(B)成分の界面活性剤からなるナノディスクを含有する。ナノディスクの前駆体であるベシクルは常法によって形成させることが可能である。具体的には、(A)水性成分と(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンとを混合攪拌することによって、(B)成分からなるベシクルが形成される。ベシクル形成に際しては、(A)水性成分の他に、水や通常化粧品に用いられる水性成分がベシクルの安定性を損なわない範囲の量で配合されていてもよい。なお、ベシクルの平均粒子径は、特に限定されるものではないが、通常30nm~150nm程度である。
ここで「ナノディスク」とは、両親媒性物質により形成されるベシクル(ラメラ液晶球状閉鎖体)を前駆体とした平板状のラメラ液晶閉鎖体であり、閉鎖体内部に水溶性成分を内包せず、エッジ部分に親油基を有するものをいう。ナノディスクは、油を含まない組成においては前駆体であるベシクルとして存在し、油を添加して乳化を行うことでベシクルがナノディスクに構造変化(以下「転移」ともいう)する。本発明のナノディスクは、1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールから選択される水性成分とポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンとを混合してベシクルを形成させたベシクル水分散液に、アニオン性界面活性剤と油分を添加し、強い攪拌力を加えながら分散することによって得られる。ナノディスクは、乳化状態において油水界面に吸着した状態で存在し、乳化安定性に寄与する。本明細書では、ベシクルを形成する両親媒性物質がシリコーン系界面活性剤であるので、本発明のナノディスクを「シリコーンナノディスク」とも指す。
<(C)油分>
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(C)油分(以下、単に「(C)成分」と称する場合がある)は、通常化粧料に配合される油分であれば特に限定されないが、例としては、炭化水素油、シリコーン油、エステル油、炭素数12~22の高級アルコール等が挙げられる。

炭化水素油としては、例えば、流動パラフィン、イソヘキサデカン、イソドデカン、オゾケライト、スクワラン、スクワレン、プリスタン、パラフィン、イソパラフィン、セレシン、ワセリン、水添ポリイソブテン、オレフィンオリゴマー、揮発性炭化水素油(例えば、イソドデカン、イソヘキサデカン、ウンデカン、トリデカン等)等が挙げられる。
シリコーン油としては、例えば、鎖状ポリシロキサン(例えば、ジメチコン、ジフェニルシロキシフェニルトリメチコン、ジフェニルジメチコン等)、環状ポリシロキサン(例えば、オクタメチルシクロテトラシロキサン、デカメチルシクロペンタシロキサン、ドデカメチルシクロヘキサシロキサン等)、3次元網目構造を形成しているシリコーン樹脂、シリコーンゴム、各種変性ポリシロキサン(アミノ変性ポリシロキサン、ポリエーテル変性ポリシロキサン、アルキル変性ポリシロキサン、フッ素変性ポリシロキサン等、ただし油相増粘効果を持つものを除く)、アクリルシリコーン類等が挙げられる。

炭素数12~22の高級アルコールとしては、例えば、オレイルアルコール、2-デシルテトラデシノール、ドデカノール、イソステアリルアルコール、オクチルドデカノール等が挙げられる。
本発明においては、化粧料の使用性をさらに向上するために、(C)油分の合計配合量に対してシリコーン油が占める割合を、質量比にして50%以上としてもよい。(C)油分の合計配合量に対してシリコーン油が占める割合を多くすることにより、油相に粉末を配合する化粧料においてべたつきが少なくさらっとした使用感を得ることができる。
また、本発明の化粧料においては、粉末分散性を向上する観点から、(C)油分の合計配合量に対して揮発性シリコーン油が占める割合を、質量比にして25%以下とすることが好ましい。なお、本発明に係る化粧料においては、(C)油分として揮発性シリコーン油を配合しなくともよいので、(C)油分の合計配合量に対する揮発性シリコーン油が占める割合の下限は0%である。
本発明において、揮発性シリコーン油とは、25℃における揮発速度が毎時重量変化率30%以上であるシリコーン油を指す。ここで、揮発速度は、ガラスシャーレにろ紙をのせ、試料約0.2gを滴下し、重量法により25℃の条件下で測定した毎時重量変化率の値を指す。揮発性シリコーン油の具体例としては、イソドデカン、平均重合度650未満の低粘度揮発性シリコーン(低粘度ジメチコン)等が挙げられる。揮発性シリコーン油の市販品としては、Creasil ID CG(島貿易社製)、KF-96L-1.5CS(信越化学社製)等が挙げられる。Creasil ID CGの揮発速度は90%以上であり、KF-96L-1.5CSの揮発速度は約50%である。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(C)油分の配合量は、油相に粉末を配合する上で通常用いられる量であれば特に限定されないが、例えば、化粧料全量に対して1~40質量%であることが挙げられる。(C)油分の配合量が40質量%を超えると安定性や使用性が低下する傾向がある。
<(D)疎水性表面を有する顔料>
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(D)疎水性表面を有する顔料(以下、単に「(D)成分」と称する場合がある)は、化粧料において一般的に顔料として用いられるものであって、粒子表面が疎水性であるものを指す。本発明の顔料としては、平均粒子径が100nm~1μmであることが好ましい。本発明の(D)成分としては、粒子表面が疎水性である限りにおいて、表面無処理のもの、疎水化処理を施したもののいずれであってもよい。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(D)疎水性表面を有する顔料(以下、単に「(D)成分」と称する場合がある)は、化粧料において一般的に顔料として用いられるものであって、粒子表面が疎水性であるものを指す。本発明の顔料としては、平均粒子径が100nm~1μmであることが好ましい。本発明の(D)成分としては、粒子表面が疎水性である限りにおいて、表面無処理のもの、疎水化処理を施したもののいずれであってもよい。
顔料の具体例としては、タルク、カオリン、雲母、絹雲母(セリサイト)、白雲母、金雲母、合成雲母、紅雲母、黒雲母、リチア雲母、パーミキュライト、炭酸マグネシウム、炭酸カルシウム、ケイ酸アルミニウム、ケイ酸バリウム、ケイ酸カルシウム、ケイ酸マグネシウム、ケイ酸ストロンチウム、タングステン酸金属塩、マグネシウム、シリカ、ゼオライト、硫酸バリウム、焼成硫酸カルシウム(焼セッコウ)、リン酸カルシウム、フッ素アパタイト、ヒドロキシアパタイト、セラミックパウダー、金属石鹸(ミリスチン酸亜鉛、パルミチン酸カルシウム、ステアリン酸アルミニウムなど)、窒化ホウ素等の無機粉末;二酸化チタン、酸化亜鉛等の無機白色顔料;酸化鉄(ベンガラ)、チタン酸鉄等の無機赤色系顔料;γ-酸化鉄等の無機褐色系顔料;黄酸化鉄、黄土等の無機黄色系顔料;黒酸化鉄、カーボンブラック、低次酸化チタン等の無機黒色系顔料;マンゴバイオレット、コバルトバイオレット等の無機紫色系顔料;酸化クロム、水酸化クロム、チタン酸コバルト等の無機緑色系顔料;群青、紺青等の無機青色系顔料;二酸化チタンコーテッドマイカ、二酸化チタンコーテッドオキシ塩化ビスマス、二酸化チタンコーテッドタルク、着色二酸化チタンコーテッドマイカ、オキシ塩化ビスマス、魚鱗箔等のパール顔料;アルミニウムパウダー、カッパーパウダー等の金属粉末顔料等が挙げられる。
なかでも、酸化鉄(ベンガラ)、チタン酸鉄、γ-酸化鉄、黄酸化鉄、黄土、黒酸化鉄、カーボンブラック、低次酸化チタン、マンゴバイオレット、コバルトバイオレット、酸化クロム、水酸化クロム、チタン酸コバルト、群青、紺青等が挙げられる。さらに、本発明の顔料としては、黄酸化鉄、赤酸化鉄、黒酸化鉄等の顔料級酸化鉄、顔料級酸化チタン等を用いることが好ましい。
疎水化表面処理剤としては、シリコーン処理剤、フッ素化合物処理剤、アミノ酸処理剤、脂肪酸処理剤、脂肪酸石鹸処理剤、脂肪酸エステル処理剤、レシチン処理剤、アルキルリン酸エステル処理等が挙げられる。本発明においては、粉末の分散性を向上する観点から、アミノ酸またはその塩を含む表面処理剤にて粉末を疎水化処理することが好ましい。
表面処理剤として用いる「アミノ酸」としては、グルタミン酸、アスパラギン酸およびリジン等が挙げられ、グルタミン酸およびアスパラギン酸が好ましい。また、「アミノ酸」は、アミノ酸のアミノ基にアシル基、好ましくは、炭素数12~20の飽和脂肪酸が縮合した「飽和脂肪酸によりアシル化されたアミノ酸」であってもよい。「アシル基」としては、ステアロイル基、ラウロイル基等を挙げることができる。「塩」は、ナトリウム、カリウム等のアルカリ金属塩、アルカリ土類金属塩などから選択できるが、ナトリウム塩が好ましい。アシル化アミノ酸の具体例として、ステアロイルグルタミン酸2ナトリウム、ラウロイルグルタミン酸ナトリウム、ラウロイルアスパラギン酸ナトリウムが挙げられる。
本発明の(D)成分は、常法により、粉末表面にアミノ酸またはその塩を吸着させることにより調製することができる。
本発明の(D)成分の表面処理剤として前記のアミノ酸またはその塩のみが用いられてもよいし、あるいは前記のアミノ酸またはその塩に加えて、粉末の表面処理剤として一般的に用いられる他の化合物がさらに含まれてもよい。
本発明の(D)成分の表面処理剤として前記のアミノ酸またはその塩のみが用いられてもよいし、あるいは前記のアミノ酸またはその塩に加えて、粉末の表面処理剤として一般的に用いられる他の化合物がさらに含まれてもよい。
本発明の(D)成分として市販品を使用することもでき、好ましい市販品としては、例えば、ASL-1 TiO2 CR-50、ASL-レッドR516P、ASL-イエローLL-100P、ASL-ブラックBL-100P等のASL処理粉体、ASI TiO2 CR-50、ASI-レッドR516P、ASI-イエローLL-100P、ASI-ブラックBL-100P、ASI-タルクJA46R等のASI処理粉体(以上、大東化成工業社製)、NHS-チタンCR-50、NHS-レッドR516PS、NHS-イエローLL-100P、NHS-ブラックBL-100P、NHS-マイカM-102、NHS-タルクJA-46RなどのNHS処理粉体(以上、三好化成工業社製)等が挙げられる。
前記(D)成分の配合量は、特に限定されないが、所望のカバー力を得るために、化粧料全量に対する下限値として4質量%以上、5質量%以上、6質量%以上が挙げられ、上限値としては30質量%以下、25質量%以下、20質量%以下が挙げられる。配合範囲としては、例えば4~30質量%、好ましくは6~20質量%である。配合量が4質量%未満では十分なカバー力が得られない場合があり、30質量%を超えると安定性が悪くなる傾向がある。
本発明に係る化粧料は、(D)成分が内相である油滴中に分散している水中油中粉体型組成物である。
本発明に係る化粧料においては、油相は化粧料全量に対して1~50質量%、さらに1~30質量%であることが好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料においては、前記(A)~(D)成分に加え、(E)油相増粘剤(以下、単に「(E)成分」と称する場合がある)を配合することにより油相中に配合する粉末成分の分散性を向上させることができる。
<(E)油相増粘剤>
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(E)油相増粘剤(以下、単に「(E)成分」と称する場合がある)は、通常の乳化型化粧料等において油分に溶解または油分で膨潤することにより油相を増粘する効果を発揮する成分として使用されている物質から適宜選択できる。例えば、有機変性粘土鉱物、ワックス、デキストリン脂肪酸エステル、グリセリル脂肪酸エステル、アミノ酸ゲル化剤、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル、固形または半固形の炭化水素油、脂肪酸またはその塩、あるいは前記(B)成分以外のポリエーテル変性シリコーン等が挙げられる。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(E)油相増粘剤(以下、単に「(E)成分」と称する場合がある)は、通常の乳化型化粧料等において油分に溶解または油分で膨潤することにより油相を増粘する効果を発揮する成分として使用されている物質から適宜選択できる。例えば、有機変性粘土鉱物、ワックス、デキストリン脂肪酸エステル、グリセリル脂肪酸エステル、アミノ酸ゲル化剤、ショ糖脂肪酸エステル、固形または半固形の炭化水素油、脂肪酸またはその塩、あるいは前記(B)成分以外のポリエーテル変性シリコーン等が挙げられる。
有機変性粘土鉱物は、三層構造を有するコロイド性含水ケイ酸アルミニウムの一種で、下記一般式(4)で表される粘土鉱物を第四級アンモニウム塩型カチオン界面活性剤で変性したものが代表的である。

有機変性粘土鉱物の具体例として、ジメチルジステアリルアンモニウムヘクトライト(ジステアルジモニウムヘクトライト)、ジメチルアルキルアンモニウムヘクトライト、ベンジルジメチルステアリルアンモニウムヘクトライト、塩化ジステアリルジメチルアンモニウム処理ケイ酸アルミニウムマグネシウム等が挙げられる。市販品としては、ベントン27(ベンジルジメチルステアリルアンモニウムクロライド処理ヘクトライト:エレメンティスジャパン社製)およびベントン38(ジステアリルジメチルアンモニウムクロライド処理ヘクトライト:エレメンティスジャパン社製)が好ましい。
ワックスは、25℃で固体もしくはペースト状のものであって、通常化粧料に用いられるものであれば特に限定されないが、例として、高重合ジメチルポリシロキサン、高重合メチルフェニルシロキサン、高重合メチルビニルポリシロキサン等の高重合メチルポリシロキサン、高重合アミノ変性メチルポリシロキサン、アルキル変性シリコーン(例えば、ステアリルジメチコン、アルキル(C30-C45)メチコン等)、ポリアミド変性シリコーン、長鎖アルコキシ変性シラン(ステアロキシトリメチルシラン等)等が挙げられ、必要に応じてこれらから選択した1種または2種以上を用いることができる。
シリコーンワックスの市販品としては、シリコーンワックスAMS-C30(アルキル(C30-C45)メチコン、ダウ・ケミカル日本/ダウ・東レ社製)等が挙げられる。

デキストリン脂肪酸エステルは、デキストリンまたは還元デキストリンと高級脂肪酸とのエステルであり、化粧料に一般的に用いられるものであれば特に限定されず使用することができる。デキストリンまたは還元デキストリンは平均糖重合度が3~100のものを用いるのが好ましい。また、デキストリン脂肪酸エステルの構成脂肪酸としては、炭素数8~22の飽和脂肪酸を用いるのが好ましい。具体的には、パルミチン酸デキストリン、オレイン酸デキストリン、ステアリン酸デキストリン、ミリスチン酸デキストリン、(パルミチン酸/2-エチルヘキサン酸)デキストリン等を挙げることができる。
グリセリル脂肪酸エステルは、グリセリン、炭素数18~28の二塩基酸および炭素数8~28の脂肪酸(ただし、二塩基酸を除く)を反応させることにより得られるエステル化反応生成物であり、化粧料に一般的に用いられるものであれば特に限定されず使用することができる。具体的には、(ベヘン酸/イソステアリン酸/エイコサン二酸)グリセリル、(ベヘン酸/エイコサン二酸)グリセリル、(ベヘン酸/エイコサン二酸)ポリグリセリル-10等を挙げることができる。
アミノ酸ゲル化剤は、N-ラウロイル-L-グルタミン酸ジブチルアミド(ジブチルラウロイルグルタミド)、N-2-エチルヘキサノイル-L-グルタミン酸ジブチルアミド(ジブチルエチルヘキサノイルグルタミド)、ポリアミド-8、ポリアミド-3等を挙げることができる。
ショ糖脂肪酸エステルは、その脂肪酸が直鎖状あるいは分岐鎖状の、飽和あるいは不飽和の、炭素数12~22のものを好ましく用いることができる。具体的には、ショ糖カプリル酸エステル、ショ糖カプリン酸エステル、ショ糖ラウリン酸エステル、ショ糖ミリスチン酸エステル、ショ糖パルミチン酸エステル、ショ糖ステアリン酸エステル、ショ糖オレイン酸エステル、ショ糖エルカ酸エステル等を挙げることができる。
固形または半固形の炭化水素油は、常温(25℃)で固形または半固形の炭化水素であり、具体例として、ワセリン、水添パーム油、水添ヒマシ油(カスターワックス)、パーム核硬化油、硬化ヒマシ油、水添ピーナッツ(落花生)油、水添ナタネ種子油、水添ツバキ油、水添大豆油、水添オリーブ油、水添マカダミアナッツ油、水添ヒマワリ油、水添小麦胚芽油、水添米胚芽油、水添米ヌカ油、水添綿実油、水添アボカド油、ロウ類等を挙げることができる。
脂肪酸としては、常温で固形のものを使用することができ、例えば、ミリスチン酸、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、ベヘニン酸、12-ヒドロキシステアリン酸等を挙げることができる。また、脂肪酸の塩としては、これらのカルシウム塩、マグネシウム塩、アルミニウム塩等を挙げることができる。
前記(B)成分以外のポリエーテル変性シリコーンとしては、PEG/PPG-19/19ジメチコン等が挙げることができる。
前記(B)成分以外のポリエーテル変性シリコーンとしては、PEG/PPG-19/19ジメチコン等が挙げることができる。
なかでも、本発明の(E)油相増粘剤として、有機変性粘土鉱物、デキストリン脂肪酸エステルおよび前記(B)成分以外のポリエーテル変性シリコーンから選択される1種以上を用いるのが好ましい。
本発明の(E)油相増粘剤として、上記物質から選択される1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。

前記(E)成分の配合量は、油相を増粘する効果を発揮する限りにおいて特に限定されない。例えば、配合量の下限値は、化粧料全量に対して0.00001質量%、0.00003質量%、0.00005質量%、0.0001質量%、0,001質量%、0,01質量%、0.1質量%、0.3質量%等であってよく、配合量の上限値は、5.0質量%、4.0質量%、3.0質量%、2.0質量%等であってよい。例えば、化粧料全量に対して0.1~5.0質量%、0.3~3.0質量%、0.8~2.0質量%等の配合量範囲とすることもできる。配合量が5.0質量%を超えると使用性および安定性が低下する傾向がある。
本発明においては、化粧料としての使用性をさらに向上するために(C)油分の合計配合量に対するシリコーン油が占める割合を増やしてもよいが、シリコーン油が占める割合を増やすと系の安定性が低下して、経時的に粉末の分散性が悪くなり、色縞(顔料が不均一化することによって生じる縞)が生じる場合がある。本発明の化粧料においては、前記(A)~(D)成分に加え(E)油相増粘剤を配合することにより粉末分散性が向上するので、(C)油分の合計配合量に対するシリコーン油の占める割合を増やしても、経時で発生しうる色縞を抑制することができる。
本発明に係る化粧料においては、前記(A)~(D)成分に加え、あるいは前記(A)~(E)成分に加え、(F)アニオン性界面活性剤(以下、単に「(F)成分」と称する場合がある)を配合することにより乳化安定性を向上させることができる。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(F)アニオン性界面活性剤は、通常化粧料に用いられるものであればよく、前記(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン等のシリコーン系界面活性剤以外のものであって、カルボン酸、スルホン酸、リン酸構造を有するもの等の陰イオン性の親水基を持つ界面活性剤をいう。アニオン性界面活性剤の配合によりナノディスクが安定化する。
なかでも、クラフト点が室温より高いアニオン性界面活性剤を用いるのが好ましい。アニオン性界面活性剤のクラフト点が室温より低い場合には、シリコーン系界面活性剤とアニオン性界面活性剤が混ざりやすく、相互作用しやすくなるため、ベシクルからナノディスクへの転移が妨げられる傾向がある。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(F)アニオン性界面活性剤としては、スルホン酸塩型アニオン性界面活性剤が好ましい。スルホン酸塩型アニオン性界面活性剤としては、スルホコハク酸ジエステル塩、アルキルアリルスルホン酸塩、アルキルエーテルスルホン酸塩、スルホコハク酸エステル塩、アシルメチルタウリン塩、アシルタウリン塩、セチルリン酸カリウム、ココイルグルタミン酸カリウム等が挙げられる。なかでも、アシルメチルタウリン塩、セチルリン酸カリウムおよびココイルグルタミン酸カリウムから選択して用いるのが好ましい。
本発明においては、特にN-アシルメチルタウリン塩をアニオン性界面活性剤として配合することが好ましい。さらに下記式(5)で表されるN-アシルメチルタウリン塩の中でもN-ステアロイル-N-メチルタウリン塩であることが好ましい。
(F)成分は任意成分であるので配合しなくともよいが、配合する場合には、化粧料全量に対して0.001~1質量%であることが好ましく、0.005~0.1質量%であることがさらに好ましく、0.008~0.06質量%であることがより好ましい。例えば、化粧料全量に対して0.01~1質量%、0.01~0.1質量%、0.01~0.06質量%等の配合量範囲とすることもできる。配合量が0.001質量%未満であるとナノディスクが十分に安定しない場合があり、1質量%を超えるとナノディスクの前駆体であるベシクルが可溶化されたり、ナノディスクの形成が妨げられる場合がある。
また、(F)成分を配合する場合には、(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンと(F)アニオン性界面活性剤との配合量比が質量比にして1:0 .01~1:0.06であることが好ましい。
また、(F)成分を配合する場合には、(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンと(F)アニオン性界面活性剤との配合量比が質量比にして1:0 .01~1:0.06であることが好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料においては、乳化安定性および使用感触をさらに向上する観点から、油相に(G)分散剤(以下、単に「(G)成分」と称する場合がある)を配合してもよい。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(G)分散剤としては、3個以上のグリセリン分子を有するポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル、長鎖脂肪酸およびポリヒドロキシステアリン酸等が挙げられる。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される(G)分散剤としては、3個以上のグリセリン分子を有するポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステル、長鎖脂肪酸およびポリヒドロキシステアリン酸等が挙げられる。

長鎖脂肪酸の具体例としては、イソステアリン酸等が挙げられる。
ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、ヒドロキシステアリン酸がエステル結合を形成することでオリゴマー化した化合物であって、化粧料に一般的に用いられるものであれば特に限定されない。ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の具体例としては、特に限定されないが、例えば重合度が4~8のものが挙げられる。
ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸は、ヒドロキシステアリン酸がエステル結合を形成することでオリゴマー化した化合物であって、化粧料に一般的に用いられるものであれば特に限定されない。ポリヒドロキシステアリン酸の具体例としては、特に限定されないが、例えば重合度が4~8のものが挙げられる。
(G)分散剤は、本発明の化粧料における選択的配合成分であるから、必ず配合しなければならないものではないが、配合する場合には、当該配合の効果が認められる程度に、かつ、配合量が過度になって使用感を損なう等の弊害が認められない限度で配合することが好ましい。本発明に係る化粧料における分散剤の好適な配合量としては、化粧料全量に対して0.1~10質量%程度が好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料においては、乳化安定性をさらに向上する観点から、水相増粘剤が配合されうる。水相増粘剤としては、化粧料に通常使用可能なものであればよく、特に限定されない。例として、アラビアガム、トラガカントガム、ガラクタン、グアガム、カラギーナン、ペクチン、クインスシード(マルメロ)抽出物、褐藻粉末およびカンテン等の植物系高分子;ヒアルロン酸、ヒアルロン酸ナトリウム、キサンタンガム、デキストランおよびプルラン等の微生物系高分子;デンプン、カルボキシメチルデンプンおよびメチルヒドロキシデンプン等のデンプン類;メチルセルロース、ニトロセルロース、エチルセルロース、メチルヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、ヒドロキシエチルセルロース、セルロース硫酸塩、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース、カルボキシメチルセルロース、結晶セルロースおよびセルロース末等のセルロース類;ポリビニルアルコール、ポリビニルメチルエーテル、ポリビニルピロリドンおよびカルボキシビニルポリマー等のビニル系高分子;ポリアクリル酸およびその塩、およびポリアクリルイミド等のアクリル系高分子;(ジメチルアクリルアミド/アクリロイルジメチルタウリンナトリウム)クロスポリマー、(アクリロイルジメチルタウリンアンモニウム/ビニルピロリドン)コポリマー、(アクリロイルジメチルタウリンアンモニウム/メタクリル酸ベヘネス-25)クロスポリマー等のタウレート系高分子;アクリレーツ/ステアレス-20メタクリレート共重合体等のアクリル酸・メタクリル酸アルキル共重合体、アクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキル(C10-30)クロスポリマー等のアクリレーツ/アクリル酸アルキルクロスポリマー等のアクリレート系高分子;PEG-240/デシルテトラデセス-20/ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート共重合体等の疎水変性ポリエーテルウレタン;グリチルリチン酸やアルギン酸およびその塩等が挙げられる。
水相増粘剤は、本発明の化粧料における選択的配合成分であるから、必ず配合しなければならないものではないが、配合する場合には、当該配合の効果が認められる程度に、かつ、配合量が過度になって使用感を損なう等の弊害が認められない限度で配合することが好ましい。本発明に係る化粧料における水溶性増粘剤の好適な配合量としては、化粧料全量に対して0.1~10質量%程度が好ましい。
本発明に係る化粧料に配合される水は、イオン交換水、精製水、水道水、天然水等、必要に応じて選択される。配合量は、本発明に係る必須成分と、その他の任意的配合成分の和に対する残量(化粧料全量に対する質量%)である。一般的には、化粧料全量に対して30~70質量%程度が好適である。
本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料には、上記成分の他に、本発明の目的・効果を損なわない範囲で、通常化粧品や医薬品等の皮膚外用剤に用いられる他の任意の添加成分、例えば、多価アルコール、非イオン性界面活性剤、皮膜剤、収れん剤、キレート剤、pH調整剤、酸化防止剤、美白剤等の各種薬剤、香料等を必要に応じて適宜配合することができる。ただし、これら例示に限定されるものではない。
本発明に係るナノディスクの前駆体であるベシクルは、(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンを(A)水性成分と十分に混合し、次いでその混合液を(A)成分以外の水性成分を含む水相に攪拌しながら滴下することによって、ベシクル水分散液として製造することができる。前記(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンと(A)水性成分の混合状態は、当該混合液が透明で一相状態であることが確認できればよく、例えば、室温~90℃で1~30分間混合を行うことで達成することができる。この方法により、動的光散乱法によって測定される平均粒子径が30~150nmであるベシクル粒子が得られる。
本発明に係るベシクルは、常法により、ベシクルの二分子膜内部に油性成分を保持した形態として製造することもできる。具体的には、本発明に係るベシクルは、(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンと(A)水性成分を混合する工程において、香料等の油溶性成分を添加して混合することにより、該油溶性成分をベシクルの二分子膜内に保持したベシクルとして製造されてもよい。
本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料は、ベシクルを含む水相中に油分を添加し、強い攪拌力を加えながら分散することによって、ベシクルから転移したナノディスク(相)が油相(油滴)に付着した水相-ナノディスク相-油相の三相構造が形成されて安定化されたものである。
よって、本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料は、ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンからなるナノディスクが油水界面、つまり油相からなる油滴の周りに付着(局在)していることを特徴とする。前記ナノディスクは、その長径が20nm~1000nmである。
よって、本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料は、ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンからなるナノディスクが油水界面、つまり油相からなる油滴の周りに付着(局在)していることを特徴とする。前記ナノディスクは、その長径が20nm~1000nmである。
本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料における水相-ナノディスク相-油相の三相構造は常法により形成させることができる。すなわち、撹拌下で、ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンを水性成分へ滴下してベシクル粒子を形成させてベシクル水分散液を得て、このベシクル水分散液に別途混合溶解した油性成分を加え、強い攪拌力にて分散すると、ベシクルがナノディスクに転移し、水相-ナノディスク相-油相の三相構造となる。このとき、アニオン性界面活性剤を配合する場合には油性成分を加える前のベシクル水分散液に添加することが好ましい。水相中に油性成分からなる油滴が乳化分散し、さらに油滴粒子表面にナノディスクが局在しているため、乳化安定性に優れるとともに、使用感(みずみずしさ、べたつきのなさ)にも優れている。なお、撹拌に用いられる撹拌装置は特に限定されるものではなく、例えばホモミキサー、ディスパー等を使用することができる。
なお、本発明においては、水相中に形成されるベシクル粒子は、前記したホモミキサー等で強シェアをかけることによって、十分に微小な粒子径に成型させ、水相中に均一分散させることができる。強シェアの程度は特に限定されないが、通常、ホモミキサーによる7000~12000回転/分の条件で5分間程度とする。
本発明において、(F)アニオン性界面活性剤を配合する場合は、水相中にベシクル粒子を形成させ、そのベシクル分散液に(F)アニオン性界面活性剤を添加した後に、油性成分を加えて乳化することが好ましい。
したがって、本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料の製造方法は、(A)水性成分と(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンとを混合してベシクルを形成するベシクル形成工程と、場合によってベシクル形成工程で得られたベシクル分散液に、(F)アニオン性界面活性剤を添加する工程と、前記工程によって得られた混合液に別途混合溶解した油性成分を攪拌およびせん断力を加えながら乳化させる乳化工程と、を備える。
したがって、本発明に係る水中油型乳化化粧料の製造方法は、(A)水性成分と(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンとを混合してベシクルを形成するベシクル形成工程と、場合によってベシクル形成工程で得られたベシクル分散液に、(F)アニオン性界面活性剤を添加する工程と、前記工程によって得られた混合液に別途混合溶解した油性成分を攪拌およびせん断力を加えながら乳化させる乳化工程と、を備える。
前記ベシクル形成工程においては、(A)水性成分と(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンを予め溶解し、その溶解物を残りの水相成分と混合することで水相中にベシクルが分散したベシクル分散液を得てもよいし、(A)水性成分と(A)成分以外の水性成分とを含む水相に(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーンを混合攪拌することで水相中にベシクルが分散したベシクル分散液を得てもよい。
本発明に係る化粧料は、水中油型乳化物に特有のみずみずしい使用感触があり、優れた紫外線防御効果を発揮する。また、本発明に係るナノディスク含有乳化物は通常の可溶化物では配合できない程度の多くの量の油分を配合できるにもかかわらずさっぱりした使用感が得られる。
本発明に係る化粧料は、クリーム状、乳液状、液状等の様々な剤型で好適に用いられる。製品形態としては、肌の凹凸やシミ・そばかす等のカバー力を有する、日焼け止め等のスキンケア化粧料、あるいは、化粧下地、ファンデーション等のメーキャップ化粧料とすることができる。
以下に実施例を挙げて本発明をさらに詳述するが、本発明はこれらにより何ら限定されるものではない。配合量は特記しない限り、その成分が配合される系に対する質量%で示す。各実施例について具体的に説明する前に、採用した評価方法について説明する。
1.使用性評価
専門パネラー5名による実使用試験を行った。各試料を肌へ塗布した際の使用感触(みずみずしさ、粉っぽさのなさ、塗布時ののび広がりの軽さ)について、下記の基準に基づいて評価した。
<評価基準>
A:対象の使用感触について、非常に良いと回答。
B:対象の使用感触について、良いと回答。
C:対象の使用感触について、あまり良くないと回答。
D:対象の使用感触について、まったく良くないと回答。
専門パネラー5名による実使用試験を行った。各試料を肌へ塗布した際の使用感触(みずみずしさ、粉っぽさのなさ、塗布時ののび広がりの軽さ)について、下記の基準に基づいて評価した。
<評価基準>
A:対象の使用感触について、非常に良いと回答。
B:対象の使用感触について、良いと回答。
C:対象の使用感触について、あまり良くないと回答。
D:対象の使用感触について、まったく良くないと回答。
(実施例)
表1に掲げた組成を有するリキッドファンデーションを調製した。具体的には、攪拌下で(B)成分を(A)成分へ滴下混合した後、他の水性成分と(F)成分(実施例1、4および5のみ)を混合して水相溶液を得、油性成分および粉末成分を別途混合して得た油相溶液を、前記水相溶液に攪拌しながら混合することによって、水中油型乳化化粧料を得た。調製した試料について、前記した評価方法に従って安定性および使用感触を評価した。結果は表中に示す。
表1に掲げた組成を有するリキッドファンデーションを調製した。具体的には、攪拌下で(B)成分を(A)成分へ滴下混合した後、他の水性成分と(F)成分(実施例1、4および5のみ)を混合して水相溶液を得、油性成分および粉末成分を別途混合して得た油相溶液を、前記水相溶液に攪拌しながら混合することによって、水中油型乳化化粧料を得た。調製した試料について、前記した評価方法に従って安定性および使用感触を評価した。結果は表中に示す。
表1に示すように、本発明の(A)~(D)成分を配合した実施例1の化粧料および(A)~(E)成分を配合する実施例2~5の化粧料はいずれも、みずみずしく、粉っぽさがなく、塗布時ののび広がりに優れていた。
また、調製した各試料を50mlのサンプル管(ガラス瓶)に入れ、1時間静置した後の外観を目視にて観察し、粉末の分散安定性について評価したところ、本発明の(E)成分を含む実施例2~5の化粧料は(E)成分を含まない実施例1の化粧料と比較して、色縞が発生しにくかった。このことから、(E)成分の配合により粉末分散性が向上することが示された。
Claims (10)
- (A)1価アルコールおよび2価アルコールから選択される水性成分、
(B)ポリオキシアルキレン変性シリコーン、
(C)油分、および
(D)疎水化表面を有する顔料
を含み、
前記(A)水性成分が、1価アルコール単独の場合には化粧料全量に対して1~15質量%であり、2価アルコール単独の場合には化粧料全量に対して1~20質量%であり、1価アルコールと2価アルコールとの組み合わせである場合にはその合計量が化粧料全量に対して1~45質量%である、水中油型乳化化粧料。 - 前記(C)油分中のシリコーン油が占める割合が50質量%以上である、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- 前記(D)成分が、アミノ酸を含む表面処理剤により疎水化処理されている、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- 前記(B)成分が、PEG-12ジメチコンである、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- さらに、(E)油相増粘剤を含む、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- さらに、(F)アニオン性界面活性剤を含む、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- さらに、(G)分散剤を含む、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- 前記(G)成分が、3個以上のグリセリン分子を有するポリグリセリン脂肪酸エステルである、請求項7に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- 前記(B)成分からなるナノディスクが油水界面に付着している、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
- メイクアップ用化粧料である、請求項1に記載の水中油型乳化化粧料。
