Abstract
Description
特許文献1に記載されるカメラユニットは、金属製基板の曲げ角度を車両のルーフ領域における屈曲した部分に合わせた角度にすることにより、ルーフライナー内に取り付けることが可能である。
図1は、実施の形態1に係るカメラユニット1が組み付けられたピラー100を示す斜視図である。ピラー100(Aピラー)は、フロントガラス101とドアガラス102との間に設けられる。カメラユニット1は、例えば図1に示すように、ピラー100に組み付けられる。ピラー100に組み付けられたカメラユニット1は、車室内の座席に座った乗員を撮影視野に含めることができる。ピラー100が運転席側のAピラーである場合、カメラユニット1は、運転席に座った運転者を撮影することができる。
赤外線透過スクリーン14によって赤外線カメラ11Aおよび赤外線LED12Aからの赤外線は透過されるが、カメラモジュール11および照明モジュール12は、外部から見えなくなる。これにより、カメラユニット1の意匠性が向上する。
Claims (8)
- 車両に設けられた細長い収容空間に収容して組み付けられるカメラユニットであって、
カメラ撮影に関する各種機能を機能ごとに実行する複数のモジュールと、
長手方向周りの外形が前記収容空間に収まる寸法を有し、当該外形から前記モジュールが突出せずに取り付けられた筐体と、を備えた
ことを特徴とするカメラユニット。 - 前記モジュールは、
撮影機能を有したカメラモジュール、
照明光を出射する発光素子を有した照明モジュール、および
前記カメラモジュールにより撮影された撮影情報を外部装置に出力するインタフェースモジュールである
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカメラユニット。 - 前記筐体は、階段状の取り付け部を有し、
前記照明モジュールは、前記取り付け部において、前記カメラモジュールよりも手前の段差面に取り付けられる
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカメラユニット。 - 前記カメラモジュールは、赤外線カメラを有したモジュールであり、
前記照明モジュールは、赤外光を照明光として照射する発光素子を有したモジュールであり、
前記筐体において前記カメラモジュールおよび前記照明モジュールの手前に設けられた赤外線透過スクリーンを備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカメラユニット。 - 前記筐体に取り付けられた前記インタフェースモジュールを被覆する金属製カバー部材を備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項2に記載のカメラユニット。 - 前記赤外線透過スクリーンの前方に配置された意匠パネルを備えた
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載のカメラユニット。 - 前記収容空間は、車両のピラーの内部空間である
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載のカメラユニット。 - 請求項1から請求項7のいずれか1項に記載のカメラユニットと、
前記カメラユニットによって撮影された車両の乗員の撮影情報を用いて前記乗員を監視する制御部と、を備えた
ことを特徴とする乗員監視システム。
