- the processing related to member authentication may be implemented as appropriate, but as an example, it may be executed by the opportunity providing unit 33 as processing associated with the opportunity to select music. Therefore, as an example of such processing, the opportunity providing unit 33 may cooperate with the authentication realizing unit 13 of the game distribution system 10 and the authentication unit 23 of the music distribution system 20 to execute the above-described authentication realizing processing. There is Further, as an example of similar processing, the opportunity providing unit 33 may cooperate with the authentication implementing unit 13 of the game distribution system 10 to execute the musical score sending process described above.
- the music data MD is acquired via the music distribution system 20.
- this acquisition may be executed by the opportunity providing unit 33 as a process associated with member authentication. Therefore, as an example of such processing, the opportunity providing unit 33 cooperates with the music distribution unit 24 of the music distribution system 20 or the authentication implementation unit 13 of the game distribution system 10 to execute the above-described game music distribution service. sometimes.
- the evaluation unit 36 is a logical device that performs various processes for evaluating the timing of each player's actual play action based on the musical score data QD.
- the guidance executing section 35 is a logical device that performs various processes for guiding the execution time of each play action based on the musical score data QD.
- processing includes, for example, processing for reproducing music based on the music data MD, and processing for guiding each execution timing in accordance with the rhythm of the music. In other words, it includes a process for guiding each execution timing based on the combination of the music data MD and the music data QD.
- FIG. 4 is an explanatory diagram for explaining the outline of the music game service.
- the music game service is one of the services for allowing the game machine 3B to provide a music game. It is configured as a service that is used in playing music games. That is, the music game service is a service for using music distributed only to members in the music distribution service for playing a music game provided by the game machine 3B.
- the music game provided by the game machine 3B guides the user as to when to perform an appropriate play act in accordance with the rhythm of the music, as described above, and evaluates the timing of the actual play act.
- is a game of The game machine 3B may provide audio guidance on when to perform an appropriate play act, but as an example, provides visual guidance through the guidance screen 50 .
- the guidance screen 50 is a game screen for visually guiding each execution time in accordance with the rhythm of music.
- the guide screen 50 may be configured appropriately so as to be able to guide each execution time, but includes an information area 51 and a play area 52 in the example of FIG.
- the information area 51 is an area for displaying various information related to playing the music game.
- the information area 51 may be formed in various forms at an appropriate position on the guidance screen 50. In the example of FIG. formed.
- the information area 51 may have a certain width as appropriate, but in the example of FIG. formed.
- Various types of information related to game play may be displayed in the information area 51 as appropriate, and the score is displayed in the example of FIG.
- the score is information indicating the score ("655") obtained by the user during play.
- the play area 52 is an area used for playing music games.
- the play area 52 may be formed in various forms (including shape, size, color, and an appropriate combination thereof) at an appropriate position on the guide screen 50. In the example of FIG. It is formed over the entire area except for the region 51 . As a result, the shape of the play area 52 is square. Also, in the music game, various actions may be executed as a play action according to the input device provided on the game machine 3B. executed. Therefore, the play area 52 is provided with an operation unit 53 on which a touch operation is to be performed.
- each operation part 53 may be provided in an appropriate form, for example, may be formed in various shapes such as each circle, ellipse, or various polygons. In the example of FIG. 4, they are provided as colorless squares.
- the respective operation sections 53 may be provided in an appropriate arrangement, but in the example of FIG. 4, they are arranged so as to form rows and columns in two directions perpendicular to each other. More specifically, the 16 operation units 53 are formed by four operation units 53 in each row and each column, and are arranged in a total of 4 ⁇ 4 squares (matrix).
- Each operation unit 53 may be used as appropriate for other than touch operation, but in the example of FIG. Such guidance may be appropriately implemented, for example, by counting down numbers, changing the color scheme according to a predetermined rule (for example, changing the color scheme in the order of red, yellow, and blue), or changing the form of the image. It may be configured to guide each execution time (timing of touch operation) and the operation unit 53 where the touch operation should be performed through the information indicating the time and the operation unit 53 on which this information is displayed. In this manner, each operation unit 53 may guide the timing of the touch operation to each operation unit 53 as appropriate, but as an example, the guidance is provided through the display of the instruction sign 54 .
- an instruction mark 54 is displayed on each operation unit 53 at an appropriate time.
- Various forms and images may be used as the instruction mark 54, but in the example of FIG. 4, it is formed in the same square shape as each operation unit 53, and is displayed in a color scheme corresponding to black painting.
- the indication mark 54 may guide the timing of the touch operation appropriately through a change in shape or the like, but as an example, guides the timing of the touch operation through matching with the position of the reference mark as follows. That is, first, each instruction mark 54 appears small near the center of each operation portion 53 . After that, each instruction sign 54 gradually increases in size to the same size as each operation portion 53, thereby guiding the timing of the touch operation through the change in size.
- a relatively small instruction mark 54 is displayed on the uppermost operation unit 53 in the second row from the left.
- the operation unit 53 on the second row from the top in the third row from the left displays an instruction sign 54 that is larger than the operation unit 53 and has a size close to the size of the operation unit 53 .
- These magnitude changes correspond to changes over time.
- Such a change may be regarded as an effect in which each instruction mark 54 moves closer to each operation unit 53 from the back side in a virtual three-dimensional space formed to give depth to each operation unit 53. .
- the timing of the touch operation is guided by the match between the size of the instruction mark 54 and the size of the operation portion 53 (including the size of a predetermined range that can be regarded as matching), and as a result, the outer circumference (boundary) of each operation portion 53 ) functions as a reference mark.
- the user is requested to perform a touch operation on the operation portion 53 on which the indication mark 54 is displayed in accordance with such matching.
- the touch operation plays act
- the touch operation is more likely to be performed as the lag time between the execution time guided by the instruction sign 54 and the execution time of the touch operation becomes smaller. It is evaluated so that the evaluation becomes high.
- the guidance screen 50 is realized based on various data such as image data for displaying the instruction signs 54 and the like, and such data includes the musical score data QD.
- Various types of information may be described in the musical score data QD as information such as each execution timing. is described as an appropriate play action. Then, when the player actually performs an appropriate touch operation, the execution timing of the actual touch operation is evaluated based on the execution timing of the musical score data QD.
- the score data QD is prepared for each song or difficulty level.
- the music is reproduced based on the music data MD so that the size of the instruction sign 54 changes in accordance with the rhythm of the music. That is, the game machine 3B implements a music game by combining the music data MD and the score data QD. Therefore, music data MD and musical score data QD are required to provide a music game.
- the music distribution service is a service that distributes music to members as described above. For this reason, the music distribution service prepares music data MD for reproducing each music for distribution. Since each piece of music for distribution has a right holder, each piece of music is released as a distribution target (distribution is started) after obtaining the permission of the right holder of each piece of music.
- right holders such as "A right holder”, “B right holder”, and “C right holder” are shown, and these correspond to the right holders of A song, B song, and C song, respectively. do.
- the distribution of music pieces A to C is started after permission from these right holders is obtained. Therefore, when the permission of these rights holders is obtained, "A music data", "B music data”, and "C music data” corresponding to music A to C are added to the music data MD as distribution targets. be done.
- the music game service is configured to use each song of the above-mentioned music distribution service for playing the music game.
- the music selection opportunity provided by the game machine 3B is configured to include each music of the music distribution service, such as music A to music C, as options through the music game service.
- the music distribution service is a separate service from the music game, the musical score data QD necessary for playing the music game is not prepared.
- music score data QD corresponding to each song (music data MD) prepared for distribution in the music distribution service is distributed to the operator of the music game service or the user (user) of the music game service. etc. will be prepared separately.
- the musical score data QD for the music game service is prepared for the music game service.
- Musical score data QD corresponding to the music is included. Then, through the music game service, such musical score data QD is provided as the musical score data QD necessary for providing the music game.

- a music game may be provided while specifying each player through.
- input of member information may be requested each time. is required to enter a user ID. That is, while the user ID and member information are included in the request to the game distribution system 10 when the music game service is used for the first time, the input and transmission of the member information are omitted from the second use onwards.
- the game distribution system 10 when the game distribution system 10 receives the request from the game machine 3B, it accesses the music distribution system 20 and performs member authentication for using the music distribution service (F2). Specifically, when member information of each player is used for member authentication, the game distribution system 10 implements member authentication based on the member information included in the request. On the other hand, when the member information of the game distribution system 10 is used for member authentication, the game distribution system 10 uses member information such as its own member ID and password to realize member authentication.
- the game distribution system 10 requests distribution of the target music (music requested for play from the game machine 3B) (F3). If member information of each player is used for member authentication, there is a possibility that member authentication will fail (member authentication will be processed as an error). In this case, the game distribution system 10 notifies the game machine 3B of an error (authentication failure) and requests correct member authentication information until the member authentication succeeds or the use of the music of the music distribution service is cancelled. .
- the music distribution system 20 Upon receiving a music distribution request from the game distribution system 10, the music distribution system 20 generates access information for distributing the target music and transmits it to the game distribution system 10 (F4). Any suitable information may be used as the access information as long as the distribution of the music can be realized. is used.
- the game distribution system 10 acquires the access information from the music distribution system 20, it identifies the musical score data QD of the target music, and transmits the identified musical score data QD and the access information to the game machine 3B (F5). .
- the game machine 3B When the game machine 3B acquires the musical score data QD and the access information, it accesses the music distribution system 20 based on the access information. For example, when URL information is used as access information, the game machine 3B accesses the URL provided in the music distribution system 20. FIG. Access to the access information may be performed based on the player's operation, but as an example, it is automatically performed by the game machine 3B in this manner. Then, the game machine 3B requests distribution of the target music at that URL (F6).
- URL information URL information
- FIG. Access to the access information may be performed based on the player's operation, but as an example, it is automatically performed by the game machine 3B in this manner. Then, the game machine 3B requests distribution of the target music at that URL (F6).
- the music distribution system 20 transmits music data MD for reproducing the music to the game machine 3B (F7). Then, when the game machine 3B acquires the music data MD, it combines it with the musical score data QD provided from the game distribution system 10 to provide the player with a music game. In other words, the game machine 3B receives the music (music data MD ) to display the guide screen 50.
- the music game service is provided in such a flow.
- FIG. 6 is a diagram showing an example of the configuration of authentication data AD.
- the authentication data AD can be stored in the game distribution system 10 and the music distribution system 20 as described above, but the information described in the authentication data AD may differ between them.
- the example in FIG. 6 shows the authentication data AD stored in the game distribution system 10.
- FIG. More specifically, the example of FIG. 6 shows a case in which the user ID and the member authentication information are managed in association with the authentication data AD in the game distribution system 10 .
- the authentication data AD includes an authentication record ADR for managing member authentication information for each user.
- the authentication record ADR includes information of "user ID", "member ID", and "password” in order to implement such management.
- “User ID” is information indicating the user ID of each user.
- “Member ID” is information indicating the member ID of each member.
- "Password” is information indicating a password that functions as a code for authenticating each member. These pieces of information are recorded in the authentication record ADR so as to be associated with each other. It should be noted that the authentication data AD is not limited to these pieces of information, and may include various types of information according to the convenience of authentication. Alternatively, part of the information described above may be omitted as appropriate. For example, in the authentication data AD managed by the music distribution system 20, information of "user ID” may be omitted.
- the authentication realization process is a process for realizing authentication for using the music distribution service in the music game service.
- the provision procedure according to the first mode includes a case where each player is a member and a case where the game distribution system 10 is a member.
- the example of FIG. 7 shows authentication realization processing when member authentication is executed based on member information of each player. Also, for the music selection opportunity, other than the music of the music distribution service may be presented as selection candidates, but the example of FIG. 7 shows the authentication realization processing when only each music of the music distribution service is presented as the selection candidate. .

- member information including member ID and password functions as authentication information of the present invention.
- the music distribution system 20 identifies the music to be distributed based on the request obtained in step S301 (step S304). Subsequently, the music distribution system 20 generates address information for distributing the specified music (the requested music), in other words, the music data MD corresponding to the music (step S305).
- the distribution of the music data MD may be realized as appropriate, but as an example, it is realized by streaming distribution.
- a dedicated URL address for streaming delivery of music data MD corresponding to the target music is used. That is, the music distribution system 20 generates the URL address as address information by providing a dedicated URL address for streaming distribution of the music data MD in step S305. Then, the music distribution system 20 transmits the address information generated in step S305, that is, the information of the dedicated URL address for streaming distribution of the target music data MD to the game distribution system 10 (step S306). Terminate the realization process.
- the game distribution system 10 acquires the result of the authentication (step S203). Then, the game distribution system 10 determines whether or not the authentication result is successful (step S204). If the result of the authentication is an error (failure) (step S204: No), the game distribution system 10 transmits the result of the error to the game machine 3B, skips subsequent processes, and performs the current authentication realization process. finish.
- step S204 if the result of member authentication is successful (step S204: Yes), the game distribution system 10 identifies the musical score data QD to be requested (step S205). Subsequently, the game distribution system 10 transmits the result of member authentication to the game machine 3B (step S206).
