本開示の電気接続箱を具体化した実施例1を、図1~図6を参照して説明する。なお、本発明はこれらの例示に限定されるものではなく、請求の範囲によって示され、請求の範囲と均等の意味および範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれることが意図される。本実施例1において、電気接続箱Aの前後の方向については、図1,3,5における斜め左下方、及び図2,4における斜め左上方を前方と定義する。上下の方向については、図1~5にあらわれる向きを、そのまま上方、下方と定義する。
本実施例1の電気接続箱Aは、図1~4に示すように、1つのベース部材10と、ベース部材10とは別体の部材である左右対称な一対の側壁部材40とを備えている。一対の側壁部材40は、ベース部材10に対して左右から挟む位置関係となるように組み付けられている。図1,2に示すように、電気接続箱Aは、ベース部材10と一対の側壁部材40とによって区画された部品収容室65を有している。部品収容室65は、電気接続箱Aの上面に開放されている。部品収容室65内には、ヒュージブルリンク等の複数の電気部品66が収容されるようになっている。
ベース部材10は、合成樹脂製の保持部材11と、保持部材11とは別体の部品である合成樹脂製の端子台25と、左右対称な一対の金属製のプレート31とを備えている。図3~5に示すように、保持部材11は、長辺を前後方向に向けた直方形をなす本体部12と、本体部12の前端縁から上方へ延出した前板部13と、本体部12の後端縁から上方へ延出した後板部14とを有する単一部品である。本体部12の上面と、前板部13の後面と、後板部14の前面とで囲まれた空間は、部品収容室65として機能する。ベース部材10に側壁部材40を組み付けていない状態では、部品収容室65が、ベース部材10の上面及びベース部材10の左右両側面においてベース部材10の外部へ開放されている。
側壁部材40は、合成樹脂製の側壁本体41と、金属製のバスバー52とを組み付けて構成されている。側壁本体41は、平面視形状が前後方向に細長く、壁厚方向を左右方向に向けた単一部品である。図3,4,6に示すように、側壁本体41の前端縁部のうち下端側の部位は、前側嵌込み部42として機能する。前側嵌込み部42の上端部には、前方へ段差状に突出したストッパ43が形成されている。側壁本体41の後端縁部のうち下端側の部位は、後側嵌込み部44として機能する。側壁本体41の後端面には、係止突起45が形成されている。
電気接続箱Aを組み付ける際には、保持部材11と端子台25を分離した状態で、板状取付部33を受け板部27に載置し、端子台25にプレート31を仮保持する。この状態から、端子台25と保持部材11を組み付けると、端子台25と保持部材11との間に収容空間28が構成されるとともに、収容空間28内にプレート31の板状給電部32が収容され、ベース部材10の組付けが完了する。
本実施例の電気接続箱Aは、電気部品66が取り付けられるベース部材10と、ベース部材10に対して着脱が可能な左右一対の側壁部材40とを備えている。ベース部材10と一対の側壁部材40とによって、上面が開口した部品収容室65が形成されている。ベース部材10に取り付けた電気部品66は、部品収容室65内に収容されるようになっている。側壁部材40をベース部材10から外した状態では、部品収容室65の側面が開放される。この構成によれば、ベース部材10に電気部品66を取り付けるときに、側壁部材40をベース部材10から取り外しておけば、側壁部材40が邪魔にならない。したがって、組付け時の作業性向上を図ることができる。
本発明は、上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施例に限定されるものではなく、請求の範囲によって示される。本発明には、請求の範囲と均等の意味及び請求の範囲内でのすべての変更が含まれ、下記のような実施形態も含まれることが意図される。
上記実施例では、ベース部材に離隔規制部を設けたが、ベース部材は離隔規制部を有していないものでもよい。
上記実施例では、ベース部材に対する側壁部材の組み付け方向が、プレートに対するバスバーの組み付け方向と同じ方向であるが、ベース部材に対する側壁部材の組み付け方向が、プレートに対するバスバーの組み付け方向と異なる方向であってもよい。

Claims (4)
- 電気部品が取り付けられるベース部材と、
前記ベース部材に対して着脱が可能な左右一対の側壁部材とを備え、
前記ベース部材と前記一対の側壁部材とによって、上面が開口した部品収容室が形成され、
前記ベース部材に取り付けた前記電気部品が、前記部品収容室内に収容されるようになっており、
前記側壁部材を前記ベース部材から外した状態では、前記部品収容室の側面が開放される電気接続箱。 - 前記ベース部材には接続部材が取り付けられており、
前記側壁部材にはバスバーが取り付けられており、
前記ベース部材に対する前記側壁部材の組み付け方向が、前記接続部材に対する前記バスバーの組み付け方向と同じ方向である請求項1に記載の電気接続箱。 - 前記接続部材が前記ベース部材の前端部に配置され、
前記接続部材と前記バスバーが締結部材によって固定され、
前記ベース部材の後端部には、前記側壁部材に対して弾性的に係止することによって前記側壁部材を組付け状態に保持する弾性係止部が形成されている請求項2に記載の電気接続箱。 - 前記ベース部材には、前記側壁部材が前記ベース部材から側方へ離隔することを規制する離隔規制部が設けられている請求項1から請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の電気接続箱。
