Description

モータ、圧縮機および冷凍サイクル装置
 本開示は、モータ、圧縮機および冷凍サイクル装置に関する。
 モータは、永久磁石を有するロータと、ロータを囲む環状のステータとを有する。ステータは複数のスロットを有し、スロットには巻線が収容される(例えば、特許文献1)。巻線には、従来の銅線に代えて、アルミニウム線が用いられる場合が増えている。

 ここで、ロータの永久磁石から出た磁束は、ステータのスロットを囲むように流れてロータに戻る。すなわち、スロットを囲むように磁路が形成される。従来のモータでは、スロットの面積が比較的大きいため、磁路の長さが長く、鉄損が大きくなる傾向がある。
 一方、スロットの面積を小さくすると、巻線で発生した熱がスロット内にこもって巻線の温度が上昇しやすくなる。アルミニウム線は銅線よりも電気抵抗が高く、発熱しやすい。巻線の温度が上昇すると、電気抵抗が上昇して銅損が増加し、モータ効率の低下を招く。
 本開示は、上記の課題を解決するためになされたものであり、モータ効率の低下を抑制することを目的とする。
 本開示のモータは、軸線を中心とする環状のロータコアと、ロータコアに取り付けられた永久磁石とを有するロータと、軸線を中心とする径方向の外側からロータを囲むコアバックと、コアバックからロータに向けて延在するティースと、軸線を中心とする周方向においてティースに隣接するスロットとを有するステータコアと、ティースに取り付けられた絶縁部と、アルミニウムで形成された導体を有し絶縁部を介してティースに巻かれた巻線とを有するステータとを有する。ロータコアの半径Dr、ステータコアの半径Ds、およびスロットの面積Sは、25mm≦Dr≦30mm、0.47≦Dr/Ds≦0.56、および0.089≦S/Dr≦0.224を満足する。
 本開示によれば、鉄損および銅損を低減し、これによりモータ効率の低下を抑制することができる。

実施の形態1.
<モータの構成>
 図1は、実施の形態1のモータ100を示す横断面図である。図1に示すモータ100は、3相同期モータである。モータ100は、例えば圧縮機300(図17)に用いられ、インバータ7によって駆動制御される。
 モータ100は、回転軸であるシャフト6を有するロータ5と、ロータ5を囲むように設けられたステータ1とを有する。ステータ1とロータ5との間には、例えば0.3~1.0mmのエアギャップが形成されている。ステータ1は、後述する圧縮機300(図17)の密閉容器301の内側に組み込まれる。
 以下では、ロータ5の回転中心、すなわちシャフト6の中心軸である軸線Axの方向を「軸方向」とする。軸線Axを中心とする径方向を「径方向」とする。軸線Axを中心とする周方向を「周方向」とし、図1等に矢印Rで示す。
<ロータの構成>
 ロータ5は、軸線Axを中心とする円筒状のロータコア50と、ロータコア50に取り付けられた永久磁石55とを有する。ロータコア50は、複数の電磁鋼板を軸方向に積層し、カシメ等により固定したものである。
 電磁鋼板の板厚は0.1~0.7mmであり、ここでは0.35mmである。ロータコア50の径方向の中心には中心孔53が形成されている。ロータコア50の中心孔53には、シャフト6が焼嵌めまたは圧入により固定されている。ロータコア50は、円周状の外周を有する。
 ロータコア50は、半径Drを有する。半径Drは、軸線Axからロータコア50の外周までの距離である。ロータコア50の半径Drは25~30mmであり、一例としては29.25mmである。
 ロータコア50の外周に沿って、永久磁石55が挿入される複数の磁石挿入孔51が形成されている。1つの磁石挿入孔51は1磁極に相当し、隣り合う磁石挿入孔51の間は極間部となる。磁石挿入孔51の数は、ここでは6である。言い換えると、極数は6である。但し、極数は6に限定されるものではなく、2以上であればよい。
 磁石挿入孔51は、その周方向中心すなわち極中心を通る径方向の直線に直交する方向に直線状に延在する。各磁石挿入孔51には、永久磁石55が1つずつ挿入されている。なお、各磁石挿入孔51には、2つ以上の永久磁石55を配置してもよい。また、磁石挿入孔51は、直線状に限らず、例えばV字状に延在していてもよい。
 永久磁石55は平板状であり、ロータコア50の周方向に幅を有し、径方向に厚さを有する。永久磁石55は、例えば、ネオジム(Nd)、鉄(Fe)およびボロン(B)を含む希土類磁石で形成されている。
 なお、希土類磁石は、温度の上昇と共に保磁力が低下する性質を有し、低下率は-0.5~-0.6%/Kである。圧縮機で想定される最大負荷発生時に希土類磁石の減磁が生じないようにするためには、1100~1500A/mの保磁力が必要である。この保磁力を150℃の雰囲気温度下で確保するためには、常温すなわち20℃での保磁力が1800~2300A/mであることが必要である。
 そのため、希土類磁石には、ディスプロシウム(Dy)を添加してもよい。希土類磁石の常温での保磁力は、Dyを添加していない状態で1800A/mであり、2wt%のDyを添加することで2300A/mとなる。但し、Dyの添加は製造コストの増加の原因となり、また残留磁束密度の低下を招く。そのため、Dyを添加しないか、またはDyの添加量ができるだけ少ないことが望ましい。
 ロータコア50において、磁石挿入孔51の周方向両端部には、漏れ磁束抑制穴としてのフラックスバリア52が形成されている。フラックスバリア52とロータコア50の外周との間には、薄肉部が形成される。薄肉部の幅は、隣り合う磁極間の磁束短絡を抑制するため、ロータコア50の電磁鋼板の板厚と同じに設定される。
<ステータの構成>
 ステータ1は、ロータコア50を径方向外側から囲むステータコア10と、ステータコア10に巻かれた巻線3とを有する。ステータコア10は、複数の電磁鋼板を軸方向に積層し、カシメ等により固定したものである。電磁鋼板の板厚は0.1~0.7mmであり、特に0.35mmが望ましい。
 ステータコア10は、軸線Axを中心とする環状のコアバック11と、コアバック11から径方向内側に延在する複数のティース12とを有する。コアバック11は、内周11a(図2)と外周11bとを有する。
 ステータコア10は、半径Dsを有する。半径Dsは、軸線Axからコアバック11の外周11bまでの距離である。ステータコア10の半径Dsは、例えば53.5mmである。
 ティース12は、周方向に一定間隔で形成されている。ティース12の数は、ここでは9である。但し、ティース12の数は9に限定されるものではなく、2以上であればよい。周方向に隣り合うティース12の間には、巻線3を収容する空間であるスロット13が形成される。スロット13の数はティース12の数と同じであり、ここでは9である。
 軸線Axに直交する面におけるスロット13の面積を、単に「スロット13の面積」と称する。また、ステータコア10の9つのスロット13の面積の合計を、「スロット面積S」と称する。実施の形態1のステータコア10におけるスロット面積Sは、例えば93.5mmである。
 図2は、ステータ1の一部を示す断面図である。ティース12の周方向中心を通る径方向の直線を、ティース中心線Tとする。ティース12は、その径方向内側の端部に、歯先面12aを有する。歯先面12aは、ロータ5に対向する。ティース12の歯先面12aを含む先端部は、ティース12の他の部分よりも周方向両側に突出している。
 ティース12は、その周方向の両端に側面12bを有する。側面12bは、ティース中心線Tに平行である。ティース12の側面12bに対して径方向内側すなわちロータ5側に、ティース中心線Tに対して傾斜した傾斜面12cが形成され、傾斜面12cと歯先面12aとの間には端面12dが形成されている。
 コアバック11の内周11aは、ティース12の側面12bの根元部から、当該側面12bに対して90度の角度で直線状に延在している。但し、コアバック11の内周11aは、ティース12の側面12bの根元部から円弧状に延在していてもよい。
 ステータコア10のスロット13の内面には、絶縁部としての絶縁フィルム20が取り付けられている。絶縁フィルム20は、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)等の樹脂で形成される。
 絶縁フィルム20は、ティース12の側面12bを覆う第1部分21と、コアバック11の内周11aを覆う第2部分22と、ティース12の傾斜面12cおよび端面12dを覆う第3部分23とを有する。
 また、ステータコア10の軸方向端部には、絶縁部としてのインシュレータ25(図12(B)参照)が設けられている。インシュレータ25は、例えばポリブチレンテレフタレート(PBT)等の樹脂で形成されている。巻線3は、絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25を介して、ティース12に巻き付けられる。
 巻線3は、マグネットワイヤで形成されており、各ティース12に集中巻きで巻かれている。1つのティース12への巻線3の巻き数は、例えば80ターンである。巻線3は、3相Y結線で結線されている。巻線3の線径およびターン数は、モータ100の要求特性、供給電圧、およびスロット13の面積に応じて設定される。
 図3は、ティース12、絶縁フィルム20および巻線3を示す断面図である。巻線3は、ティース12の側面12bに、俵積み状に巻かれている。俵積みとは、巻線3のk+1層目(k≧1)の1つの巻線部分(図3に符号Wで示す)が、k層目の2つの巻線部分に接触するように巻かれることを言う。
 巻線3が俵積み状に巻かれることにより、スロット13における巻線3の占積率を高めることができる。占積率とは、スロット13の面積に対する、当該スロット13内の巻線部分の断面積の合計の割合である。また、巻線3が俵積み状に巻かれることで、巻線部分同士の接触面積が増加し、巻線3の熱をステータコア10に効率よく放熱することができ、巻線3の温度上昇が抑制される。
 図3では、図示の便宜上、巻線3を4層に示しているが、巻線3の層数は任意である。また、巻線3は、絶縁フィルム20の第1部分21だけでなく、第2部分22および第3部分23に接していても良い。
 図4は、巻線3の断面形状を示す図である。巻線3は、導体31と、導体31を囲む被膜32とを有する。導体31は、アルミニウムで形成されている。被膜32は、絶縁性の樹脂、例えばポリエステルイミドまたはポリアミドイミドで形成されている。このように導体がアルミニウムで形成された巻線は、アルミニウム線とも称する。
 被膜32の厚さは導体31の外径に比べて薄いため、導体31の外径は巻線3の外径d1とみなすことができる。巻線3の外径d1は、0.7~1.2mmである。
<作用>
 次に、実施の形態1の作用について説明する。ロータ5からステータコア10に流入した磁束は、図1に符号Lで示すようにスロット13の周囲を流れてロータ5に戻る。そのため、ステータコア10内には、スロット13の周囲を囲むように磁路が形成される。ステータ1で生じる鉄損は、ステータコア10内の磁路の長さに依存する。そのため、スロット面積Sが大きいほど鉄損が大きく、スロット面積Sが小さいほど鉄損が小さい。
 また、ロータ5の断面積(Dr×π)が大きいほど、ロータ5に搭載される永久磁石55が大きくなり、ステータコア10に流入する磁束が増加する。そこで、ここでは、ステータ1における鉄損の生じやすさを表す指標として、スロット面積Sをロータコア50の半径Drの2乗で乗算したS/Drを用いる。
 ここで、実施の形態1のモータ100に含まれる具体的な構成例1~3について説明する。実施の形態1の構成例1~3のモータ100は、図1を参照して説明した形状を有しており、ロータコア50の半径Drとスロット面積Sが異なるものである。
 実施の形態1の構成例1のモータ100は、ロータコア50の半径Drが29.25mm、ステータコア10の半径Dsが53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sが93.5mmである。この場合、ロータコア50とステータコア10との半径の比(以下、単に半径比と称する)Dr/Dsは、0.55である。また、スロット面積Sとロータコア50の半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは、0.109である。
 構成例2のモータ100は、ロータコア50の半径Drが30.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsが53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sが80.0mmである。この場合、半径比Dr/Dsは0.56であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.089である。
 構成例3のモータ100は、ロータコア50の半径Drが25.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsが53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sが140.0mmである。この場合、半径比Dr/Dsは0.47であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.224である。
 次に、実施の形態1の構成例1~3と対比する比較例1~7について説明する。
 図5(A)は、比較例1のモータ101を示す断面図である。比較例1のモータ101は、6極9スロットである。ロータコア50の半径Drは24.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは132.0mmである。この場合、半径比Dr/Dsは0.45であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.229である。
 図5(B)は、比較例1のモータ101のステータ1の一部を示す断面図である。比較例1のコアバック11の内周11aは、ティース12の側面12bの根元部から、側面12bに対して90度の角度で直線状に延在している。巻線3は、図5(B)では簡略化して示しているが、ティース12に俵積み状に巻かれている。
 図6(A)は、比較例2のモータ102を示す断面図である。比較例2のモータ102は、6極9スロットである。ロータコア50の半径Drは24.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは144.6mmである。この場合、半径比Dr/Dsは0.45であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.251である。
 図6(B)は、比較例2のモータ102のステータ1の一部を示す断面図である。比較例2のコアバック11の内周11aは、ティース12の側面12bの根元部から、側面12bに対して90度の角度で直線状に延在している。巻線3は、図6(B)では簡略化して示しているが、ティース12に俵積み状に巻かれている。
 図7(A)は、比較例3のモータ103を示す断面図である。比較例3のモータ103は、6極9スロットである。ロータコア50の半径Drは32.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは79.2mmである。この場合、半径比Dr/Dsは0.60であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.077である。
 図7(B)は、比較例3のモータ103のステータ1の一部を示す断面図である。比較例3のコアバック11の内周11aは、ティース12の側面12bの根元部から、側面12bに対して90度の角度で直線状に延在している。巻線3は、図7(B)では簡略化して示しているが、ティース12に俵積み状に巻かれている。
 図8(A)は、比較例4のモータ104を示す断面図である。比較例4のモータ104は、6極9スロットである。ロータコア50の半径Drは32.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは69.9mmである。この場合、半径比Dr/Dsは0.60であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.068である。
 図8(B)は、比較例4のモータ104のステータ1の一部を示す断面図である。比較例4のコアバック11の内周11aは、ティース12の側面12bの根元部から、側面12bに対して90度の角度で直線状に延在している。巻線3は、図8(B)では簡略化して示しているが、ティース12に俵積み状に巻かれている。
 比較例5のモータは、比較例2のモータ102(図6(A))と同様の形状を有し、ロータコア50の半径Drは22.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは150.0mmである。半径比Dr/Dsは0.41であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.310である。
 比較例6のモータは、比較例2のモータ102(図6(A))と同様の形状を有し、ロータコア50の半径Drは20.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは154.0mmである。半径比Dr/Dsは0.37であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.385である。
 比較例7のモータは、比較例4のモータ104(図8(A))と同様の形状を有し、ロータコア50の半径Drは34.0mmであり、ステータコア10の半径Dsは53.5mmであり、スロット面積Sは69.9mmである。半径比Dr/Dsは0.64であり、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drは0.060である。
 次に、実施の形態1の構成例1~3および比較例1~7のモータの鉄損の測定結果について説明する。鉄損は、JIS_C2550に基づくエプスタイン試験により測定したものである。構成例1~3および比較例1~7のモータの軸方向長さは、共通である。
 図9は、ロータコア50とステータコア10との半径比Dr/Dsと、鉄損との関係を示すグラフである。横軸は半径比Dr/Dsを示し、縦軸は鉄損Wを示す。また、図9において、実施の形態1の構成例1~3のデータは点E1~E3で示し、比較例1~7のデータは点C1~C7で示す。
 図9から、ロータコア50とステータコア10との半径比Dr/Dsが0.47~0.56の範囲にある場合に、鉄損が最も低減されていることが分かる。半径比Dr/D2が0.47より小さくなると鉄損が増加し、0.56より大きくなっても鉄損が増加する。
 図10は、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drと、鉄損との関係を示すグラフである。横軸はスロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drを示し、縦軸は鉄損Wを示す。また、図10において、実施の形態1の構成例1~3のデータは点E1~E3で示し、比較例1~7のデータは点C1~C7で示す。
 図10から、スロット面積Sと半径Drの2乗との比S/Drが0.089~0.224の範囲にある場合に、鉄損が最も低減されていることが分かる。半径比Dr/D2が0.089より小さくなると鉄損が増加し、0.224より大きくなっても鉄損が増加する。
 比較例1のモータ101(図5(A))では、スロット面積Sが大きく、スロット13を囲む磁路が長いため、図9,10に示したように鉄損が大きい。また、ロータコア50の半径Drが24mmと小さいため、ロータ5に取り付け可能な永久磁石55が小さくなり、モータ出力が低下する。
 比較例2のモータ102(図6(A))では、スロット面積Sが大きく、スロット13を囲む磁路が長いため、図9,10に示したように鉄損が大きい。また、ロータコア50の半径Drが24mmと小さいため、比較例1と同様にモータ出力が低下する。
 加えて、この比較例2では、スロット面積Sが144.6mmと大きいため、巻線3の占積率が小さくなる。巻線3の占積率が小さくなると、スロット13内の巻線部分同士の接触面積が減少して放熱性が低下し、巻線3の温度が上昇する。巻線3の温度が上昇すると、巻線抵抗が増加し、銅損が増加してモータ効率が低下する。
 比較例3のモータ103(図7(A))では、ステータコア10の半径Dsに対してロータコア50の半径Drが大きいため、ステータコア10の径方向寸法が小さく、磁気抵抗が増加する結果、図9,10に示したように鉄損が大きくなる。また、スロット面積Sが79.2mmと小さいため、巻線3の巻き数が少なくなり、モータ出力が低下する。また、スロット13に巻線3を無理に収容すると、巻線3が損傷する可能性がある。
 比較例4のモータ104(図8(A))では、ステータコア10の半径Dsに対してロータコア50の半径Drが大きいため、ステータコア10の径方向寸法が小さく、磁気抵抗が増加する結果、図9,10に示したように鉄損が大きくなる。また、スロット面積Sが69.9mmと小さいため、比較例3と同様にモータ出力が低下する。また、スロット13内に熱がこもりやすく、放熱性が低下する。
 また、比較例5~7のモータについても、図9,10に示したように鉄損が大きい。
 これに対し、実施の形態1のモータ100は、ロータコア50の半径Drとステータコア10の半径Dsとスロット面積Sとが、0.47≦Dr/Ds≦0.56、および0.089≦S/Dr≦0.224を満足する。そのため、図9,図10に示したようにステータ1における鉄損を低減することができる。
 また、ロータコア50の半径Drが25mm~30mmであるため、ロータコア50に十分な大きさの永久磁石55を取り付けることができ、モータ出力の低下を抑制することができる。また、ステータコア10の径方向寸法が小さくなり過ぎないため、ステータコア10における磁気抵抗の増加を抑制することができる。
 また、スロット面積Sが80mm以上であるため、巻線3の十分な巻き数を確保することができ、モータ出力の低下を抑制することができる。また、スロット面積Sが140mm以下であるため、スロット13内の巻線3の占積率を高めることができ、巻線部分同士の接触面積を増加させて放熱性を高めることができる。これにより、温度上昇による銅損の増加を抑制し、モータ出力の低下を抑制することができる。
 また、スロット13内では、巻線3がティース12に俵積み状に巻かれているため、巻線部分同士の接触面積を増加させ、巻線3で発生した熱を効率よくステータコア10に放熱することができる。これにより、温度上昇による銅損の増加を抑制し、モータ効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 なお、ステータコア10の電磁鋼板の板厚は0.1~0.7mmであるが、0.35mmが特に望ましい。電磁鋼板は、厚いほど安価で高強度であるが、鉄損は発生しやすくなる。ステータコア10の電磁鋼板の板厚が0.35mmであれば、製造コストの上昇と強度低下を生じさせずに、鉄損を低減することができる。
 一方、ロータコア50の電磁鋼板の板厚は、ステータコア10の電磁鋼板の板厚より厚くてもよい。ステータコア10では、ロータ5から流入する磁束がロータ5の回転により大きく変化するのに対し、ロータコア50には永久磁石55が固定されており、ロータ5の回転に伴うロータコア50内での磁束の変化は小さく、従ってロータコア50で生じる鉄損が比較的小さいためである。
 また、巻線3はアルミニウム線であり、銅線よりも高抵抗であるが、巻線3の線径が0.7~1.2mmであり、一般的の銅線の線径よりも太いため、巻線抵抗の増加を抑制することができる。特に、上記の通りスロット面積Sが80~140mmであるため、スロット13内における巻線3の占積率を高めることができ、モータ効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 また、ロータ5の永久磁石55が希土類磁石で形成されており、希土類磁石は高温で減磁しやすい。上記の通り巻線3で発生した熱が効率よく放熱され、モータ100全体の温度上昇が抑制されるため、永久磁石55の高温での減磁を抑制することができる。
 また、ロータ5の極数を増加させると、減磁耐力は向上するが、電気周波数が増加して鉄損が増加する。実施の形態1のモータ100は6極9スロットであるため、減磁耐力を低下させることなく、鉄損を低減することができる。
<実施の形態の効果>
 以上説明したように、実施の形態1のステータ1は、ロータコア50の半径Drとステータコア10の半径Dsとスロット面積Sとが、
 25mm≦Dr≦30mm、
 0.47≦Dr/Ds≦0.56、および
 0.089≦S/Dr≦0.224を満足する。
 そのため、ステータ1の鉄損および銅損を低減し、モータ出力の低下を抑制することができる。
 また、スロット面積Sが140mm以下であるため、スロット13内の巻線3の占積率を高め、放熱性を向上することができる。その結果、温度上昇による巻線抵抗の増加による銅損の増加を抑制することができる。また、スロット面積Sが80mm以上であるため、巻線3の十分な巻き数を確保し、モータ出力の低下を抑制することができる。
実施の形態2.
 次に、実施の形態2について説明する。図11は、実施の形態2のモータ100Aを示す断面図である。実施の形態2のモータ100Aは、ステータ1Aのティース12が段差部121を有する点で、実施の形態1のモータ100と異なる。
 図12(A)は、モータ100Aのステータ1Aの一部を示す断面図である。図12(B)は、図12(A)に示したティース12のティース中心線Tに直交する面における断面図である。
 図12(B)に示すように、ティース12の軸方向の端面を、軸方向端面12eと称する。ティース12の軸方向端面12eの周方向両側(すなわちティース12の幅方向両側)には、段差部121が形成されている。段差部121は、ティース12の軸方向端面12eと側面12bとが交わるコーナー部分に形成されている。
 ティース12の軸方向端面12eには、インシュレータ25が取り付けられている。インシュレータ25は樹脂成形体であり、ティース12の軸方向端面12eを覆うように取り付けられている。
 また、インシュレータ25は、その周方向両側、すなわちティース12の幅方向両側に、ステータ1Aの段差部121に係合する係合部25aを有する。係合部25aと段差部121との係合により、インシュレータ25がティース12に取り付けられる。
 インシュレータ25は、その周囲に巻かれる巻線3に損傷が生じないように、周方向両側に曲面25bを有する。これにより、インシュレータ25に巻かれる巻線3の損傷を抑制することができる。
 図12(A)に示すように、ティース12の側面12bには、実施の形態1で説明した絶縁フィルム20が取り付けられている。絶縁フィルム20は、ティース12の側面12bの他に、コアバック11の内周11a、ティース12の傾斜面12cおよび端面12dを覆っている。
 巻線3は、絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25を介して、ティース12に巻かれている。絶縁フィルム20は厚さが薄いため、ティース12への巻線3の巻き付けが容易である。そのため、スロット13における巻線3の占積率を高め、放熱性を向上して、銅損を抑制することができる。
 インシュレータ25は、PBTで形成されている。PBTは、一般的なインシュレータに用いられる液晶ポリマー(LCP)よりも高い熱伝導率を有する。そのため、巻線3で発生した熱を、インシュレータ25を介してステータコア10に伝えやすい。これにより、温度上昇による巻線抵抗の増加を抑制し、モータ効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 図13は、インシュレータ25の一構成例を示す模式図である。インシュレータ25には、絶縁フィルム20の軸方向の端部を保持する保持部としての溝部25cを形成してもよい。
 このように構成すれば、インシュレータ25の溝部25cによって絶縁フィルム20を保持することができるため、ステータコア10への絶縁フィルム20の取り付けを簡単に行うことができる。
 また、インシュレータ25の内部に、空洞部25dを形成してもよい。空洞部25dを形成することで、放熱表面積が増加して放熱性が向上し、また、インシュレータ25の重量も軽量化される。なお、インシュレータ25における空洞部25dの形成位置は、任意である。
 図14(A)は、比較例のモータのステータの一部を示す断面図である。図14(B)は、図14(A)に示したティース12のティース中心線Tに直交する面における断面図である。
 図14(A),(B)に示す比較例では、ティース12の軸方向端面12eに段差部が設けられていない。ティース12の軸方向端面12eには、インシュレータ26が取り付けられる。
 インシュレータ26は、その周囲に巻かれる巻線3に損傷が生じないように、周方向両側に曲面26bを有する。そのため、インシュレータ26には、曲面26bを形成するだけの軸方向高さが必要である。その結果、図14(B)で示すように、ティース12とその軸方向両側のインシュレータ26とを合わせた軸方向寸法L2が長くなる。
 これに対し、実施の形態2では、ティース12が軸方向端面12eに段差部121を有し、インシュレータ25が段差部121に係合する係合部25aを有する。そのため、インシュレータ25の軸方向高さが低くても、インシュレータ25に曲面25bを形成することができる。その結果、図12(B)で示すように、ティース12とその軸方向両側のインシュレータ25とを合わせた軸方向寸法L1を短くすることができる。
 このように、ティース12とインシュレータ25とを合わせた軸方向寸法L1を短くすることにより、巻線3の周長を短くすることができる。巻線3の周長を短くすることで、巻線抵抗を低減し、銅損を低減することができる。
 ここで、ティース12の軸方向両端では、段差部121の形成により磁路が狭くなるため、磁気飽和により鉄損が増加する可能性がある。しかしながら、実施の形態1で説明したように、ロータコア50の半径Drとステータコア10の半径Dsとスロット面積Sとが、
 25mm≦Dr≦30mm、
 0.47≦Dr/Ds≦0.56、および
 0.089≦S/Dr≦0.224
を満足することにより、ステータ1Aにおける鉄損の増加を抑制し、モータ効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 ここでは、ティース12の側面12b側に段差部121を形成したが、コアバック11の内周11a側に段差部を形成してもよい。あるいは、ティース12の傾斜面12c側あるいは端面12d側に段差部を形成してもよい。言い換えると、ステータコア10の軸方向端面で且つスロット13に面する部分に、段差部が形成されていればよい。
 また、ここでは、ティース12の軸方向両端にインシュレータ25を取り付けたが、ティース12の軸方向一端のみにインシュレータ25を取り付けてもよい。
 上記の点を除き、実施の形態2のモータ100Aは、実施の形態1のモータ100と同様に構成されている。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態2では、ティース12の側面12bに絶縁フィルム20が取り付けられ、軸方向端面12eにインシュレータ25が取り付けられているため、絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25を介してティース12に巻線3を巻き付けることができる。
 また、ステータコア10の軸方向端面で且つスロット13に面する部分に段差部121が形成され、インシュレータ25が段差部121に係合する係合部25aを有するため、インシュレータ25をティース12に簡単に取り付けることができる。また、インシュレータ25とティース12とを合わせた軸方向寸法を短くすることができ、これにより巻線3の周長を短くし、銅損を低減することができる。
 また、インシュレータ25が、絶縁フィルム20を保持する保持部としての溝部25cを有するため、ステータコア10への絶縁フィルム20の取り付けを簡単に行うことができる。
実施の形態3.
 次に、実施の形態3について説明する。図15は、実施の形態3のモータ100Bを示す断面図である。実施の形態3のモータ100Bは、ステータ1Bのコアバック11の外周11bに溝部14が形成されている点で、実施の形態2のモータ100Aと異なる。
 コアバック11の外周11bに形成された溝部14は、ステータコア10の長さの全域に亘って軸方向に延在している。そのため、モータ100Bを圧縮機300(図17)に取り付けると、圧縮機300の密閉容器301(図17)と溝部14との間に、冷媒を軸方向に流す流路が形成される。
 スロット13内において径方向内側(ロータ5に近い側)に配置された巻線3は、ステータ1Bとロータ5との間のギャップを流れる冷媒によって冷却されやすい。これに対し、スロット13内において径方向外側(コアバック11に近い側)に配置された巻線3は、冷却されにくい。
 実施の形態3では、コアバック11の外周11bの溝部14を冷媒が流れるため、スロット13内において径方向外側に配置された巻線3で発生した熱を放熱することができる。これにより、巻線3の温度上昇を抑制することができる。
 コアバック11の溝部14は、ティース12の周方向中心を通る径方向の直線、すなわちティース中心線T上に形成されていることが望ましい。溝部14をこのように配置することで、溝部14がステータコア10内の磁束をできるだけ遮らないようにすることができ、鉄損の増加を抑制することができる。
 上記の点を除き、実施の形態3のモータ100Bは、実施の形態2のモータ100Aと同様に構成されている。
 以上説明したように、実施の形態3では、ステータ1Bのコアバック11の外周11bに溝部14が形成されているため、巻線3の放熱性を向上することができ、これにより巻線3の温度上昇を抑制してモータ効率の低下を抑制することができる。
 なお、実施の形態1のステータ1のコアバック11の外周11b(図1)に、実施の形態3の溝部14と同様の溝部を形成してもよい。
変形例.
 次に、実施の形態1~3に対する変形例について説明する。図16は、変形例のモータ100Cを示す断面図である。変形例のモータ100Cは、ステータ1Cのステータコア10が、複数の分割コア17を環状に連結することにより構成されている。ここでは、ステータコア10が9つの分割コア17で構成されているが、分割コア17の数は2つ以上であればよい。
 分割コア17は、それぞれ1つずつティース12を有する。隣り合う分割コア17の間には、分割面18が形成されている。分割コア17は、分割面18の外周側に形成されたカシメ部19あるいは薄肉部で互いに連結されている。また、分割コア17を互いに独立した部品とし、分割面18で溶接してもよい。
 分割コア17のスロット13の内面には、実施の形態1で説明した絶縁フィルム20が取り付けられている。また、分割コア17の軸方向端面に、実施の形態2で説明したインシュレータ25(図12(B))を取り付けてもよい。
 また、分割コア17の軸方向端面においてスロット13に面する部分に、実施の形態2で説明した段差部121を形成してもよい(図12(A))。
 ステータ1Cの組み立て時には、分割コア17を連結したステータコア10を直線状に広げた状態で、分割コア17に絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25を取り付ける。そして、分割コア17のティース12に絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25を介して巻線3を巻き付ける。その後、ステータコア10を円環状に組み立てることにより、環状のステータコア10が得られる。
 この変形例では、分割コア17を直線状に広げた状態で、絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25の取り付けと巻線3の巻き付けを行うことができる。そのため、絶縁フィルム20およびインシュレータ25を簡単に取り付け、また巻線3を俵積み状に簡単に巻き付けることができる。これにより、巻線3の占積率を高め、放熱性をさらに向上することができる。
<圧縮機>
 図17は、各実施の形態および変形例のモータが適用可能な圧縮機300を示す縦断面図である。圧縮機300は、ロータリ圧縮機であり、例えば冷凍サイクル装置400(図18)に用いられる。
 圧縮機300は、圧縮機構部310と、圧縮機構部310を駆動するモータ100と、圧縮機構部310とモータ100とを連結するシャフト6と、これらを収容する密閉容器301とを備える。ここでは、シャフト6の軸方向は鉛直方向であり、モータ100は圧縮機構部310に対して上方に配置されている。
 密閉容器301は、鋼板で形成された容器である。モータ100のステータ1は、焼き嵌め、圧入または溶接等により、密閉容器301の内側に組み込まれている。密閉容器301の上部には、冷媒を外部に吐出する吐出管307と、モータ100に電力を供給するための端子305とが設けられている。また、密閉容器301の外部には、冷媒ガスを貯蔵するアキュムレータ302が取り付けられている。密閉容器301の底部には、圧縮機構部310の軸受部を潤滑する冷凍機油が貯留されている。
 圧縮機構部310は、シリンダ室312を有するシリンダ部311と、シャフト6に固定されたローリングピストン314と、シリンダ室312の内部を吸入側と圧縮側に分けるベーンと、シリンダ室312の軸方向両端部を閉鎖する上部フレーム316および下部フレーム317とを有する。
 上部フレーム316および下部フレーム317は、いずれも、シャフト6を回転可能に支持する軸受部を有する。上部フレーム316および下部フレーム317には、上部吐出マフラ318および下部吐出マフラ319がそれぞれ取り付けられている。
 シリンダ部311には、軸線Axを中心とする円筒状のシリンダ室312が設けられている。シリンダ室312の内部には、シャフト6の偏心軸部61が位置している。偏心軸部61は、軸線Axに対して偏心した中心を有する。偏心軸部61の外周には、ローリングピストン314が嵌合している。モータ100が回転すると、ローリングピストン314がシリンダ室312内で偏心回転する。
 シリンダ部311には、シリンダ室312内に冷媒ガスを吸入する吸入口313が形成されている。密閉容器301には、吸入口313に連通する吸入管303が取り付けられ、この吸入管303を介してアキュムレータ302からシリンダ室312に冷媒ガスが供給される。
 圧縮機構部310のストロークボリューム、すなわちシリンダ部311の容積は、6~18ccである。
 圧縮機300には、冷凍サイクル装置400(図18)の冷媒回路から低圧の冷媒ガスと液冷媒とが混在して供給されるが、液冷媒が圧縮機構部310に流入して圧縮されると、圧縮機構部310の故障の原因となる。そのため、アキュムレータ302で液冷媒と冷媒ガスとを分離し、冷媒ガスのみを圧縮機構部310に供給する。
 圧縮機300の端子305には、モータ100を駆動制御するインバータ7からの引き出し線が接続されている。モータ100は、インバータ7によってPWM(Pulse Width Modulation)制御される。
 圧縮機300の動作は、次の通りである。インバータ7から端子305からステータ1の巻線3に電流が供給されると、電流によって生じる回転磁界とロータ5の永久磁石55の磁界との作用により、ロータ5が回転する。
 圧縮機構部310のシリンダ室312には、吸入口313を介してアキュムレータ302から低圧の冷媒ガスが吸入される。シリンダ室312内では、シャフト6の偏心軸部61とこれに取り付けられたローリングピストン314が偏心回転し、シリンダ室312内で冷媒を圧縮する。
 シリンダ室312で圧縮された冷媒は、図示しない吐出口および吐出マフラ318,319を通って密閉容器301内に吐出される。密閉容器301内に吐出された冷媒は、モータ100の穴部等を通って密閉容器301内を上昇し、吐出管307から吐出され、冷凍サイクル装置400(図18)の冷媒回路に送り出される。
 各実施の形態および変形例のモータは、鉄損および銅損の抑制により、高いモータ効率を有する。そのため、圧縮機300の駆動源に当該モータを用いることで、圧縮機300の運転効率を向上することができる。
 モータ100の回転数を一定とすると、圧縮機構部310のストロークボリュームを大きくするほど、モータ100のトルクが低下する。実施の形態1で説明したように、ロータコア50の半径Drとステータコア10の半径Dsとスロット面積Sとが、25mm≦Dr≦30mm、0.47≦Dr/Ds≦0.56、および0.089≦S/Dr≦0.224を満足するモータ100を用いれば、ストロークボリュームが6~18ccの範囲で、鉄損および銅損を低減することができる。
 また、モータ100がインバータ7によって駆動制御されるため、モータ100の負荷変動を抑えることができる。これにより、圧縮機300の安定した運転を行うことができる。
<冷凍サイクル装置>
 次に、図17の圧縮機300が適用可能な冷凍サイクル装置400について説明する。図18は、冷凍サイクル装置400を示す図である。冷凍サイクル装置400は、例えば空気調和装置であり、圧縮機401と、凝縮器402と、絞り装置(減圧装置)403と、蒸発器404とを備えている。圧縮機401、凝縮器402、絞り装置403および蒸発器404は、冷媒配管407によって連結されて冷凍サイクルを構成している。圧縮機401、凝縮器402、絞り装置403および蒸発器404の順に、冷媒が循環する。
 圧縮機401、凝縮器402および絞り装置403は、室外機410に設けられている。圧縮機401は、図20を参照して説明した圧縮機300で構成されている。室外機410には、凝縮器402に空気を送風する室外送風機405が設けられている。蒸発器404は、室内機420に設けられている。この室内機420には、蒸発器404に空気を送風する室内送風機406が設けられている。
 冷凍サイクル装置400の動作は、次の通りである。圧縮機401は、吸入した冷媒を圧縮して送り出す。凝縮器402は、圧縮機401から流入した冷媒と室外の空気との熱交換を行い、冷媒を凝縮して液化させて冷媒配管407に送り出す。室外送風機405は、凝縮器402に室外の空気を供給する。絞り装置403は、冷媒配管407を流れる冷媒の圧力を調整する。
 蒸発器404は、絞り装置403により低圧状態にされた冷媒と室内の空気との熱交換を行う。冷媒は空気の熱を奪って蒸発し、冷媒配管407に送り出される。室内送風機406は、蒸発器404を通過して熱を奪われた空気を、室内に供給する。
 各実施の形態および変形例のモータは、鉄損および銅損の抑制により、高いモータ効率を有する。そのため、冷凍サイクル装置400の圧縮機401に当該モータを用いることで、冷凍サイクル装置400の運転効率を向上することができる。
 以上説明した各実施の形態の特徴および各変形例の特徴は、互いに組み合わせることができる。

Claims (16)

  1.  軸線を中心とする環状のロータコアと、前記ロータコアに取り付けられた永久磁石とを有するロータと、
     前記軸線を中心とする径方向の外側から前記ロータを囲むコアバックと、前記コアバックから前記ロータに向けて延在するティースと、前記軸線を中心とする周方向において前記ティースに隣接するスロットとを有するステータコアと、前記ティースに取り付けられた絶縁部と、アルミニウムで形成された導体を有し前記絶縁部を介して前記ティースに巻かれた巻線とを有するステータと
     を有し、
     前記ロータコアの半径Dr、前記ステータコアの半径Ds、および前記スロットの面積Sが、
     25mm≦Dr≦30mm、
     0.47≦Dr/Ds≦0.56、および
     0.089≦S/Dr≦0.224
     を満足するモータ。
  2.  さらに、前記スロットの面積Sが、80mm以上、140mm以下である
     請求項1に記載のモータ。
  3.  前記絶縁部は、前記ティースの前記軸線の方向の端面に配置されたインシュレータを有する
     請求項1または2に記載のモータ。
  4.  前記ステータコアの前記軸線の方向の端面において、前記スロットに面する部分に段差部が形成され、
     前記インシュレータは、前記段差部に係合する係合部を有する

  5.  前記絶縁部は、前記ティースの前記周方向の端面に配置された絶縁フィルムを有し、
