Definitions
- the present invention refers to a dynamic chair that has an unstable support on the ground during its use, so that to compensate said instability a user must compensate it with the support of his feet on the ground, necessarily exercising certain muscle groups of his body. , fundamentally of his feet and legs; all this so that said user can remain stable in the sitting position on the chair, this position in which the seat surface of the chair will be located in a substantially horizontal plane.
- the sector of the technique in which the present invention is framed is that pertaining to furniture, and more specifically to! seating furniture.
- Some chairs are also known that have arched runners attached to the ends of pairs of legs; where said arched skates are the elements that rest on the ground so that a user can balance while sitting on the chair.
- the invention proposes a dynamic chair comprising a seat body joined to a frame located below the seat body; where said frame includes a first upper end part joined to the seat body, a lower end part opposite the upper end zone, and a central part.
- the dynamic chair further comprises a base attached to the lower end area of the frame; where said base includes a protruding central protuberance as a means of unstable support on the floor of the dynamic chair; and wherein the central protrusion protrudes below a lower perimeter surface of the base.
- the chair includes an electrical circuit comprising an electrical cable; where one end of the electric cable is connected to a first metal piece attached to the seat body, while another end of said electric cable is connected to a second metal piece attached to the central protuberance, while being in contact with the ground while using the chair.
- the electrical cable is configured to receive, conduct and divert static electricity to ground that a user seated in the chair could have accumulated.
- the frame is made up of tubes that coincide with the edges of a parallelogram, while the base consists of a hollow body with a laminar structure.
- the electrical cable runs through the interior space of some of the truss tubes and also the interior space of the base.
- the armor is reinforced by means of an annular body that is joined to the central part that forms part of said armor.
- the seat body comprises a platform and a backrest that are joined by a curved section, while the platform includes a smooth central concavity and a front wing extended downwards.
- the platform of the seat body includes lower appendages that start from a lower face of said platform; where said lower appendages are configured to fit into upper end sections of tubes that form part of the frame; and where the joint between the seat body and the frame comprises screws that connect the lower appendages and said upper end sections of tubes of the frame.
- the backrest of the upper seat body includes at least one hole that is configured to be able to grab and hold the chair during handling and transfer.
- the frame of the chair is metallic, while the base and the seat body are made of a plastic material, so that the frame is joined to the base by means of a screw connection.
- the central protrusion of the base has a spherical cap-shaped configuration.
- Figure 1.- Shows an elevation view of the dynamic chair, object of the invention.
- Figure 2. Shows a perspective view of the frame that joins the lower base with the seat body of the chair.
- Figure 3. Shows a perspective view of the upper seat body of the chair.
- Figure 4.- Shows a profile view of the upper seat body of the chair.
- the dynamic chair comprises a seat body 1, a frame 2 with a tubular structure, and a base 3; where the seat body 1 is configured so that a user can sit down during the use of the chair.
- the base 3 has a circular shape.
- the base 3 of the chair is configured to rest unstable on the ground during use of the chair, so that for this said base 3 includes in its center a central protuberance 4 in the form of a spherical cap; where during the use of the chair of the invention, to compensate for its instability, the user must compensate it with the support of their feet on the ground, necessarily exercising certain muscle groups of their body, fundamentally of the back, feet and legs; all this so that said user can remain stable in the sitting position on the chair.
- the user seated in the chair of the invention continuously exercises said muscle groups in a comfortable and simple way, precisely due to the instability of the support on the floor of the chair during use.
- the chair of the invention can be useful in the prevention of low back pain and other pathologies, by counteracting the negative effect exerted by prolonged sitting and likewise, helping to overcome different ailments, especially of the back.
- the instability of the chair is limited, thus making it difficult to overturn, by means of perimeter parts of the base 3 that are around the central protuberance 4, so that in the embodiment shown in the figures, said perimeter parts are refer to a perimeter cornered edge 5 of the base 3, although in another embodiment of the invention not shown in the figures said perimeter parts could be, for example, some appendages that protrude below the lower base 3 with a height less than the central protuberance Four.
- the chair of the invention also includes an electrical circuit comprising a single-phase electrical cable 6 configured to receive and conduct static electricity to ground that a user seated in the chair may have accumulated.
- one end of the electrical cable 6 is connected to a first metal part 7 attached to the upper seat body 1, while the other end of said electrical cable 6 is connected to a second metal part 8 attached to the central protuberance 4 and which is in contact with the ground.
- a first metal part 7 attached to the upper seat body 1
- a second metal part 8 attached to the central protuberance 4 and which is in contact with the ground.
- the electric cable 6 runs through the interior of some of the tubes that make up the frame, while another section of said electric cable 6 runs through an interior space of the lower base 3 that has a hollow structure.
- the frame 2 is formed by metal tubes that coincide with the edges of a parallelepiped body; where four of said tubes are arranged in vertical directions with a circular section, another four are arranged in a first horizontal plane with a rectangular section in coincidence with the seat body 1 and another four tubes with a rectangular section that are arranged in another horizontal plane in coincidence with the base 3.
- the frame 2 can also be reinforced by means of an annular body 9 with a cylindrical-tubular section arranged at mid-height.
- the seat body 1 comprises a platform 1a and a low backrest 1b that are joined by a curved section 1c, while the platform 1a includes a smooth central concavity 10 and a front wing 11 extended downwards.
- the platform 1a of the seat body 1 includes lower appendages 12 that start from a lower face of said platform 1a, so that said lower appendages 12 are configured to fit into upper end sections of the four vertical tubes that form part of the frame 2, ensuring the connection between the seat body 1 and the frame 2 by means of screws not shown in the figures.
- the backrest 1b of the seat body 1 includes two holes 13 to introduce the fingers of one of the user's hands through them and to be able to grip and hold the chair assembly more easily during handling and transfer.
- the frame 2 is metallic, while the base 3 is made of a plastic material such as polypropylene.
- the seat body 1 is also made of polypropylene, so that the frame 2 is joined to the base 3 by means of a screwed joint.
- the height of the chair of the invention can be between 40 cm. and 50 cm., without obviously ruling out other measures, varying the height of the reinforcement 2.
