Abstract
Description
次に、封口体17の組立工程について説明する。その後にかしめ部31の高さ調整について説明する。図2は、本開示の第1実施形態に係る非水電解質二次電池10のかしめ部周辺を拡大した断面図である。
工程1:端子板23を絶縁板26の起立部26a内に挿入する。
工程2:ラプチャーディスク24の突起部24b内に、絶縁板26に挿入した端子板23を挿入する。
工程3:ラプチャーディスク24の突起部24bを径方向の内側にかしめて、絶縁板26と端子板23を固定する。
工程4:端子板23とラプチャーディスク24の中央部を溶接によって接続する。これにより、端子板23とラプチャーディスク24は機械的、かつ電気的に接続される。
工程5:ラプチャーディスク24の起立部24a内に正極キャップ27を挿入する。これにより、正極キャップ27のフランジ27aがラプチャーディスク24に当接する。
工程6:正極キャップ27とラプチャーディスク24の外周を溶接する。これにより、正極キャップ27とラプチャーディスク24が機械的、かつ電気的に接続される。
工程7:正極キャップ27が挿入されたラプチャーディスク24の起立部24aに金属製スペーサー40を挿入する。
工程8:ラプチャーディスク24の起立部24aを径方向の内側にかしめ、起立部24aの端部を金属製スペーサー40上に当接するように曲げ、リング状の折り曲げ部24cを形成する。
以上により、封口体17は成形される。尚、この工程は一例であって、構成部品の形状によって変更され得る。また、工程順序もこれに限定されない。
図3は、本開示の第2実施形態に係る非水電解質二次電池のかしめ部周辺を拡大した断面図である。本実施形態の封口体17は、ラプチャーディスク24の折り曲げ部24cを無くし、起立部24aの高さをフランジ27aの厚み以下とし、フランジ27aの上に、金属製スペーサー40だけを備える構成とした点が、第1実施形態と異なる
図4は、本開示の第3実施形態に係る非水電解質二次電池のかしめ部周辺を拡大した断面図である。本実施形態においては、ラプチャーディスク24の周縁部を内径方向へ曲げ加工することによって、高さ調整部40を実現している。
高さ調整部40の形成方法としては、上述の実施形態に限らない。例えば、図6に示すように、正極キャップ27のフランジ27aの周縁部を径方向の内側に曲げて高さ調整部40を形成するようにしてもよい。

- 電極体を収容する有底筒状の外装缶と、
前記外装缶の開口部を塞ぐ封口体と、

前記外装缶には、前記開口部の端部を径方向の内側に曲げられ、前記封口体をかしめて固定するかしめ部が形成され、
前記封口体は、ラプチャーディスクとフランジを有する正極キャップと前記かしめ部の高さを調整するための金属製の高さ調整部と、
を有する、密閉型電池。 - 前記高さ調整部は、金属製スペーサーであり、前記正極キャップの前記フランジの上面と前記ラプチャーディスクの間に配置される、
