Definitions
- This disclosure relates to storage shelves and ceiling carrier systems.
- a side buffer is provided between the traveling rails. It has been known.
- the side buffer has a strut attached to a beam, a girder fixed to the lower part of the strut, a pedestal attached to the girder, etc., and the article delivered from the ceiling vehicle is placed on the pedestal. Will be placed.
- the ceiling vehicle when delivering goods to and from the side buffer (storage shelf), the ceiling vehicle moves the rotating part, the elevating drive, and the elevating table sideways by the lateral drive. Further, the elevating drive lowers the elevating table together with the chuck (grip portion) that grips the article, and puts the article on the side buffer. Alternatively, the ceiling traveling vehicle lowers the chuck together with the elevating table, grips the article placed on the side buffer with the chuck, and raises the chuck.
- the elevating table or the like when the elevating table or the like is moved laterally by the lateral drive (horizontal transfer portion), the elevating table or the like is usually positioned and controlled so as to stop at a predetermined position.
- the lateral drive may move the elevating platform or the like laterally to the operating limit (stroke limit) on the mechanism.
- the lateral transfer mechanism can move to the limit where it can be mechanically operated.
- the lateral transfer mechanism moves to the limit, the lateral transfer mechanism will pop out to the back side in the transfer direction.
- This disclosure describes a storage shelf and a ceiling carrier system that can prevent the lateral transfer mechanism of the ceiling carrier from jumping out to the back side in the transfer direction.
- One aspect of the present disclosure is a storage shelf installed on the side of the track and to which articles are delivered by a lateral transfer mechanism of a ceiling carrier traveling in the traveling direction, in the lateral direction orthogonal to the traveling direction. It is provided with a stopper with which a part of the lateral transfer mechanism that has moved by a predetermined amount or more comes into contact.
- the stopper comes into contact with a part of the lateral transfer mechanism.
- This "predetermined amount” is set to be slightly larger than, for example, the approach amount (advance amount) in the transfer direction that is positioned and controlled in the normal lateral transfer operation. In the normal horizontal transfer operation, the horizontal transfer mechanism does not come into contact with the stopper. However, even if the lateral transfer mechanism moves more than a predetermined amount in the transfer direction due to some abnormality in the ceiling carrier, the stopper prevents the lateral transfer mechanism from popping out to the back side in the transfer direction. Can be prevented.
- the storage shelves can be installed close to the wall of a factory or the like.
- the stopper may have an elastic portion attached to the side surface facing a part of the lateral transfer mechanism. Even if the lateral transfer mechanism comes into contact with the stopper, the movement (entry) of the lateral transfer mechanism may not stop immediately (when the lateral transfer mechanism coasts). Even when the lateral transfer mechanism coasts, the elastic part of the stopper deforms and absorbs the impact. As a result, damage to the stopper and the lateral transfer mechanism at the time of contact can be suppressed.
- the stopper may be made of an elastic body. Even if the lateral transfer mechanism comes into contact with the stopper, the movement (entry) of the lateral transfer mechanism may not stop immediately (when the lateral transfer mechanism coasts). Even when the lateral transfer mechanism coasts, the stopper made of an elastic body absorbs the impact while deforming. As a result, damage to the stopper and the lateral transfer mechanism at the time of contact can be suppressed.
- a ceiling carrier system including a track, a ceiling carrier traveling along the track, and any of the above storage shelves may be provided.
- this ceiling carrier system even if the lateral transfer mechanism moves by a predetermined amount or more in the transfer direction due to some abnormality in the ceiling carrier, the horizontal transfer mechanism is moved in the transfer direction by the stopper. It is possible to prevent it from jumping out to the back side of the ceiling. As a result, other devices, devices, orbits and the like that can be arranged on the opposite side of the orbit can be arranged close to each other, and the degree of freedom in layout can be increased.
- the ceiling carrier system may further include another track parallel to the track and storage shelves may be installed between the track and another track.
- a first track (the above track) and a second track are laid on both sides of the storage shelf.
- the lateral transfer mechanism of the ceiling carrier traveling on the first track moves by a predetermined amount or more in the transfer direction, it is prevented from jumping out to the back side of the lateral transfer mechanism. Therefore, the lateral transfer mechanism is prevented from coming into contact with the ceiling carrier traveling on the second track.
- the conventional storage shelf without a stopper it is necessary to provide a sufficient track spacing in order to prevent such contact.
- the distance between the centers of the first orbit and the second orbit can be made smaller than the conventionally required orbital distance.
- a contact sensor for detecting contact with the stopper may be provided in a part of the lateral transfer mechanism of the ceiling carrier.
- the contact sensor can detect the contact of the lateral transfer mechanism with the stopper. It is possible to control such as stopping the lateral transfer mechanism, stopping the ceiling carrier, or generating an alarm for notifying the operator.
- the stopper can prevent the lateral transfer mechanism from jumping out to the back side in the transfer direction. ..

- the laterally moving portion 11 has a substantially rectangular shape (rectangular parallelepiped shape).
- the laterally moving portion 11 is a part of the laterally transferred mechanism 7, and is a portion that moves to directly above the mounting position P1 of the article 10 on the mounting portion 8 (see FIG. 6).
- the mounting position P1 is shown as the center position of the article 10 mounted on the mounting portion 8 in the Y direction.
- the storage shelf 40 of the present embodiment is provided with a structure that limits excessive entry of the laterally moving portion 11 in the Y direction. As shown in FIG. 3, the storage shelf 40 comes into contact with a part of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 when the lateral moving portion 11 of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 enters (moves) by a predetermined amount or more in the Y direction. A plurality of provided stoppers 50 are provided. In the example shown in FIG. 3, two shelf columns 9 (four in total) are provided on both sides in the X direction for the space for one article 10.
- the transport vehicle 6 on which the article 10 is to be transferred (the transport vehicle 6 on the right side traveling on the first track 4A shown in FIG. 2) is referred to as a "first transport vehicle 6".
- the shelf support 9 includes a shelf support 9a closer to the first transport vehicle 6 and a shelf support 9b farther from the first transport vehicle 6.
- a pair of (two) stoppers 50, 50 are attached to a pair of shelf columns 9b via a plurality of brackets 59.
- the stoppers 50 and 50 are installed, for example, at substantially the same height as the two corner portions 11a at the upper portion of the lateral moving portion 11.
- the lateral movement unit 11 is positioned and controlled so as to advance by a predetermined advance amount in the Y direction (transfer direction).
- the contact surface 54a (see FIG. 4A) of the stopper 50 has a corner portion 11a (horizontal transfer) when the lateral movement portion 11 (see FIG. 6) of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 enters the Y direction by a predetermined amount or more. It is arranged at a position where it comes into contact with a part of the mechanism 7).
- This "predetermined amount” is set to a value slightly larger than the above-mentioned predetermined advance amount. Therefore, in the normal lateral transfer operation, the lateral moving portion 11 of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 does not come into contact with the stopper 50, but the lateral moving portion 6 is caused by some abnormality or the like. When the 11 enters the transfer direction by a predetermined amount or more, the corner portion 11a comes into contact with the stopper 50.
- the stopper 50 protrudes in the Y direction from the area on the mounting portion 8 on which the article 10 is placed, for example, on the side opposite to the first transport vehicle 6. It is arranged in the area R.
- the stopper 50 is installed, for example, in the region R protruding from the shelf support 9b on the side opposite to the first transport vehicle 6 in the Y direction.
- the stopper 50 may be installed at the same position as the shelf support 9b in the Y direction or in a region overlapping with the shelf support 9b in the Y direction.
- the stopper 50 is installed at a position where the laterally moving portion 11 comes into contact with the stopper 50 and stops before the mechanically operable limit (stroke limit) of the laterally moving portion 11.
- the advancing amount at which the lateral moving portion 11 abuts on the stopper 50 is larger than the predetermined advancing amount described above based on the regular advancing amount of the lateral moving portion 11, and is larger than the operating limit amount (stroke limit) of the lateral moving portion 11. Is also set small.
- the stopper 50 includes an L-shaped base portion 51 fixed to the bracket 59 and a corner portion of the laterally moving portion 11 in the base portion 51. It has an elastic portion 52 attached to a side surface facing 11a.
- the elastic portion 52 includes a triangular columnar contact piece 54 that is movable in the Y direction with respect to the base portion 51, and a spring 56 that is, for example, a compression coil spring held in the spring holding recess 54e of the contact piece 54. ..
- the base end of the spring 56 is engaged with the base portion 51, and the tip of the spring 56 is arranged in the spring holding recess 54e and is engaged with the contact piece 54.
- the contact piece 54 is separated from the base portion 51 in the Y direction, and is movable in the Y direction within the range of the gap between the base portions 51. Further, the contact piece 54 faces the first transport vehicle 6 in the horizontal direction, and faces the corner portion 11a of the lateral moving portion 11 advancing from the first transport vehicle 6 in the horizontal direction.
- the corner portion 11a has, for example, an inclined surface that is inclined with respect to the X direction and the Y direction, but the contact surface 54a of the contact piece 54 is inclined in the same manner as the corner portion 11a. That is, the contact surface 54a of the stopper 50 has a shape along a part of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 (the portion that contacts the stopper 50). When the corner portion 11a has a rounded shape (curved shape), the contact surface 54a may have a curved shape along the shape.
- the elastic portion 52 composed of the abutting piece 54 and the spring 56 decelerates (that is, stops) the lateral moving portion 11 with respect to the lateral moving portion 11 when the lateral moving portion 11 of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 abuts. It exerts an energizing force in the direction.
- the corner portion 11a may be provided at the tip end portion of the lower member 24c of the lateral transfer portion 24, for example.
- the corner portion 11a may be provided at the tip of the ⁇ drive 26 or the elevating drive portion 28 instead of the lateral transfer portion 24.
- the corner portion 11a is provided at any end of the lateral movement portion 11.
- the corner portion 11a is provided with, for example, a contact sensor 58 that detects contact with the stopper 50.
- the contact sensor 58 outputs a signal when, for example, a contact with the stopper 50 is detected.
- Examples of the contact sensor 58 include a tape switch and the like.
- the signal from the contact sensor 58 is transmitted to a controller (not shown).
- the controller When the contact sensor 58 detects the contact with the stopper 50, the controller generates an alarm for stopping the lateral transfer mechanism 7, stopping the traveling of the transport vehicle 6, or notifying the operator. Controls such as the like are performed.
- the contact sensor 58 is not shown.
- the stopper 50 is set at the corner portion of the lateral transfer mechanism 7. It abuts on 11a.
- This "predetermined amount” is set to be larger than the approach amount (advance amount) in the Y direction, which is positioned and controlled in the normal lateral transfer operation.
- the lateral transfer mechanism 7 does not abut on the stopper 50 (see FIG. 4A). That is, in the normal lateral transfer operation, the transfer position P2 in the lateral transfer portion 11 of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 coincides with the transfer position P1 in the Y direction.
- the transfer position P2 is shown as the center position in the Y direction of the article 10 gripped by the grip portion 31 of the elevating table 30. In this state, there is a gap between the tip of the corner portion 11a and the contact surface 54a of the stopper 50. However, even if the lateral transfer mechanism 7 enters the transport vehicle 6 by a predetermined amount or more in the Y direction due to some abnormality or the like, the stopper 50 causes the lateral transfer mechanism 7 to move in the Y direction (transfer direction). It is possible to prevent it from popping out to the back side.
- the second track 4B (another track) and the transport vehicle 6 and the like that can be arranged on the opposite side of the first track 4A can be arranged close to each other, and the degree of freedom in layout can be increased.
- the degree of freedom in layout of the second track 4B and the carrier 6 that can be arranged on the opposite side of the first track 4A is increased.
- the first track 4A and the second track 4B are laid on both sides of the storage shelf 40. Even when the lateral transfer mechanism 7 of the transport vehicle 6 traveling on the first track 4A enters the transfer direction by a predetermined amount or more, the lateral transfer mechanism 7 is prevented from jumping out to the back side. Therefore, it is prevented that the lateral transfer mechanism 7 comes into contact with the transport vehicle 6 traveling on the second track 4B.
- A indicates the distance (stroke limit) to the maximum operable transfer position P2 of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 with respect to the center of the first trajectory 4A.
- B indicates the dimension from the transfer position P2 by the lateral transfer mechanism 7 to the outer shape of the transport vehicle 6 (on the opposite side) traveling in the oncoming lane.
- C indicates the dimension from the center of the second track 4B to the outer shape of the transport vehicle 6 traveling in the oncoming lane.
- D indicates the distance between the outer shape of the lateral moving portion 11 (tip 11b) and the outer shape of the transport vehicle 6 traveling in the oncoming lane.
- E indicates the distance between orbits.
- F indicates the distance from the center of the first orbital 4A to the mounting position P1.
- sufficient orbital spacing was provided so that the sum of E, that is, A, B, C, and D, was larger than F. Therefore, a certain amount of installation area is required, which is a factor that limits free layout.
- the distance Es between the centers of the first track 4A and the second track 4B can be made smaller than the conventionally required track spacing E. .. As shown in FIGS. 6 and 7, As is the transfer position of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 with respect to the center of the first track 4A in a state where the lateral moving portion 11 is stopped by the stopper 50.
- the distance to P2. Es is the distance between the orbits when the stopper 50 is installed.
- the lateral moving portion 11 abuts on the stopper 50 and stops.
- the inter-orbital distance Es can be set to E, that is, the sum of As, B, C, and D.
- the stop position by the stopper 50 is before the operable limit (stroke limit) of the lateral moving portion 11 with reference to the advance amount of the lateral moving portion 11.
- the base portion 51 (stopper 50) is retracted from the tip end 11b of the laterally moving portion 11 stopped by the stopper 50 (located on the transport vehicle 6 side). Since the distance As is shorter than the distance A (see FIG. 5B) with respect to the transfer position P2 in the laterally moving portion 110 (which has jumped out too much) when the stopper 50 is not installed, the distance As is shorter by the difference G. The distance between orbits Es can be reduced.
- the stopper 50 has an elastic portion 52 attached to the side surface facing a part of the lateral transfer mechanism 7. Even if the lateral transfer mechanism 7 comes into contact with the stopper 50, the movement (entry) of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 may not stop immediately, that is, the lateral transfer mechanism 7 may coast (move by inertia). .. Even when the lateral transfer mechanism 7 coasts, the elastic portion 52 of the stopper 50 absorbs the impact while being deformed (see FIGS. 4 (b) and 5 (a)). As a result, damage to the stopper 50 and the lateral transfer mechanism 7 (specifically, the corner portion 11a) at the time of contact can be suppressed.
- a contact sensor 58 for detecting contact with the stopper 50 is provided at the corner portion 11a of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 of the transport vehicle 6.
- the contact sensor 58 can detect the contact of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 with the stopper 50. It is possible to control such as stopping the lateral transfer mechanism 7, stopping the transport vehicle 6, or generating an alarm for notifying the operator.
- the present invention is not limited to the above embodiment.
- the case where the stopper 50 is composed of a base portion 51, an abutting piece 54, and a spring 56 (elastic portion 52), which are separate members, has been described, but these may be integrally formed.
- the case is not limited to the case where the elastic portion 52 is provided in a part of the stopper 50 as in the above embodiment, and the stopper made of an elastic body may be provided in the storage shelf. Even in that case, damage to the stopper and the lateral transfer mechanism 7 at the time of contact with the lateral transfer mechanism 7 can be suppressed.
- a configuration such as providing a plastically deformable member on the stopper or configuring the stopper with a plastically deformable member may be adopted. It is considered that the lateral transfer mechanism 7 rarely comes into contact with the stopper. The impact of the laterally moving portion 11 may be absorbed by utilizing the plastic deformation, and the stopper (or only the plastically deformable member) may be replaced each time the contact is made.
- a ceiling transport vehicle system in which the transport vehicle 6 travels in the same direction along the X direction may be provided.
- the case is not limited to the case where a pair of orbitals 4A and 4B parallel to each other are laid.
- a ceiling carrier system 1 comprising one track 4 (first track 4A shown in FIG. 2) and one or more storage shelves 40 installed on the sides of track 4 is provided. May be good. That is, the second orbital 4B may be omitted. Even in that case, other devices or devices that may be placed on the opposite side of the first track 4A can be placed close to each other, and the degree of freedom in layout can be increased. Further, the storage shelf 40 can be installed close to the wall of a factory or the like.
- the stopper 50 is provided at a position corresponding to the two corner portions 11a of the lateral moving portion 11, but the stopper 50 is provided at any one place or three or more places other than the corner portion 11a of the lateral moving portion 11. It may be provided at a corresponding position so that when the lateral transfer mechanism 7 enters the transfer direction by a predetermined amount or more, it comes into contact with the one or three or more locations.
- the corner portion 11a is not limited to the case where it is provided at any of the tip portions of the lateral moving portion 11, and may be provided so as to project in the X direction, for example, in the middle portion of the lateral moving portion 11 in the Y direction.
- the stopper may be installed near the area on the mounting portion 8 on which the article 10 is mounted.
- the stopper may be installed in the area between the shelf columns 9a and 9b (see FIGS. 2 and 3) in the Y direction.
- the stopper may be installed at the same position as the shelf support 9a in the Y direction or in a region overlapping with the shelf support 9a in the Y direction, corresponding to the first transport vehicle 6.
- Another one or more portions of the lateral transfer mechanism 7 different from the lateral moving portion 11 may abut on the stopper.
