Description

光パス設計装置、光パス設計方法及びプログラム
 本発明は、光パス設計装置、光パス設計方法及びプログラムに関する。
 従来の光ネットワークでは、トラフィック量の増加に伴って光パス(光信号の経路及び周波数)の需要が増加した場合、制御装置は、増加した需要に新たな光パスを割り当てる。このように割り当てられた光パスは、原則として解除されない。例えば、光ネットワークにおいてトラフィック量が増加した場合には、既に割り当てられた光パスが解除されずに維持され、増加したトラフィック量に新たな光パスが割り当てられる。
 これに対して、変化する需要に光パスを動的に割り当てることを目的とした光ネットワーク設計技術がある(非特許文献1参照)。このような光ネットワークでは、通信の終了に伴って制御装置が光パスの割当を解除する。
 図13は、従来における、光パス設計装置100の構成例を示す図である。光パス設計装置100は、記憶部101と、探索部102と、設計部103とを備える。
 記憶部101は、1本以上の伝送路をリンクとし複数のノード装置をノードとする光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と、光ネットワークにおいて設定済みの光パスの情報とを記憶する。探索部102は、トポロジ情報に基づいて、光ネットワークにおける光パスを伝送される光信号の経路の候補を探索する。設計部103は、光ネットワークの通信装置(不図示)に対して設定済みの光パス(光信号の経路及び周波数)の情報に基づいて、光パスの候補のうちから、割当可能な光パスを選択する。このようにして、光パス設計装置100は、光ネットワークにおける光パスを設計する。
 制御装置(不図示)は、光パスの割当内容に基づいて、光ネットワークの通信装置(例えば、ノード装置、送受信器)に設定されるパラメータを含む制御信号を生成する。制御装置は、制御信号を光ネットワークの通信装置に送信する。通信装置は、割り当てられた光パスを設定するためのパラメータを、通信装置の動作(例えば、光信号の中継)に反映させる。

 図14は、従来における、光パス設計装置100の設計動作例を示すフローチャートである。設計部103は、光ネットワークにおいて探索された1本以上の経路について、割当可能な周波数を選択する(ステップS1)。設計部103は、経路と周波数帯域との組み合わせ(光パス)を選択する(ステップS2)。このように、光パス設計装置によって光パスが動的に設計及び設定される光ネットワークでは、光パスの設計に必要とされる時間は非常に短い。
 これに対して、パラメータが設定された通信装置が所望状態に遷移するには、一定の時間が必要である。例えば、光パスを設定するためのパラメータを通信装置が受信してから、そのパラメータが通信装置の動作に反映されるまでに、数ミリ秒から数秒程度の時間が必要である。このため、光パス設計装置が光パスを設計する場合には、光パスの設定に必要とされる一定の時間が考慮される必要がある。
 従来の光ネットワークでは、光パスの設定以外の作業(例えば、光パスの設計、光パスの試験等)に必要とされる時間のほうが、光パスの設定(動作へのパラメータの反映)に必要とされる時間よりも長い。このため、従来の光ネットワークでは、光パスの設定に必要とされる時間が考慮されていない。このように、従来の光ネットワークでは、光パスの需要の時間的な制約を満たすように光パス設計装置が光パスを設計することができないという問題がある。
 上記事情に鑑み、本発明は、光パスの需要の時間的な制約を満たすように光パスを設計することが可能である光パス設計装置、光パス設計方法及びプログラムを提供することを目的としている。
 本発明の一態様は、1本以上の伝送路をリンクとし複数のノード装置をノードとする光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と始点の情報と終点の情報とに基づいて、前記光ネットワークにおける前記始点から前記終点までの1本以上の経路の候補を探索する探索部と、1個以上の周波数スロットを含む周波数帯域が通信に使用可能となる時刻である使用可能時刻を、前記経路に含まれている前記伝送路又は前記ノード装置ごとに導出する時刻導出部と、前記伝送路又は前記ノード装置ごとに導出された前記使用可能時刻に基づいて、探索された1本以上の前記経路の候補のうちから前記経路を選択し、選択された前記経路における光パスを伝送される光信号の前記周波数帯域を選択する設計部とを備える光パス設計装置である。

 本発明の実施形態について、図面を参照して詳細に説明する。
 (第1実施形態)
 図1は、通信システム1aの構成例を示す図である。通信システム1aは、複数のノード装置2と、ノード装置2同士を繋ぐ1本以上の伝送路3(光ファイバ)と、制御装置4と、光パス設計装置5とを備える。ノード装置2は、例えば、波長選択スイッチ(Wavelength Selective Switch : WSS)である。
 複数のノード装置2(光ノード)と1本以上の伝送路3(光リンク)とは、光ネットワークにおける光信号の経路を構成する。経路は、周波数帯域の異なる光信号ごとに光パスを含むことが可能である。所定の周波数帯域の光信号が伝送される光パスは、制御装置4によって各ノード装置2に設定されたパラメータに応じて定まる。図1では、一例として、ノード装置2-Aと、伝送路3-1と、ノード装置2-Bと、伝送路3-2と、ノード装置2-Cと、伝送路3-3と、ノード装置2-Dとが、光信号の経路を構成する。
 図1では、伝送路3-1の第1端にはノード装置2-Aが接続されている。伝送路3-1の第2端にはノード装置2-Bが接続されている。伝送路3-2の第1端にはノード装置2-Bが接続されている。伝送路3-2の第2端にはノード装置2-Cが接続されている。伝送路3-3の第1端にはノード装置2-Cが接続されている。伝送路3-3の第2端にはノード装置2-Dが接続されている。
 光ネットワークにおいて、各ノード装置2は光信号を中継する。図1では、光ネットワークにおける主信号の経路の始点は、一例としてノード装置2-Aである。光ネットワークにおける主信号の経路の終点は、一例としてノード装置2-Dである。光パス設計装置5によって設計された光パス(光信号の経路及び周波数)は、制御装置4の制御信号によって、各ノード装置2に設定される。
 制御装置4は、光ネットワークの管理装置である。すなわち、制御装置4は、複数のノード装置2の通信処理を制御(管理)する装置である。制御装置4は、光ネットワークにおける光パスの需要情報を、例えばノード装置2から取得する。制御装置4は、光ネットワークにおける光パスの需要情報に応じて、割当要求信号を生成する。制御装置4は、割当要求信号を光パス設計装置5に出力する。
 需要情報は、主信号(光信号)の送信元のクライアント装置(不図示)の情報と、主信号の受信元のクライアント装置(不図示)の装置と、通信に必要とされるトラヒック量(周波数帯域)の情報とを含む。需要情報は、通信開始時刻の情報と、通信終了時刻の情報とを更に含んでもよい。
 割当要求信号は、光パスの需要に対して、光パスの割当(設計)を要求する信号である。割当要求信号は、主信号の経路(始点及び終点)の情報と、主信号の周波数帯域(トラフィック量)の情報とを含む。割当要求信号は、通信開始時刻の情報と、通信終了時刻の情報とを更に含んでもよい。
 制御装置4は、割当要求信号に対する応答として、割当内容を光パス設計装置5から取得する。制御装置4は、割当内容に基づいて、パラメータ(例えば、経路の情報、周波数の情報、通信開始時刻の情報、通信終了時刻の情報)を生成する。制御装置4は、パラメータを設定するための制御信号を用いて、各ノード装置2にパラメータを設定する。光パスの割当を解除する場合、制御装置4は、光パスの割当を設定する際に使用された制御信号と同様の制御信号を用いて、各ノード装置2にパラメータを設定してもよい。
 制御プロトコルは、例えば、各ベンダで独自の仕様として定められる。制御プロトコルは、YANG(IETF RFC7950)で規定されたデータモデルに基づく、NETCONF(RFC6241)/RESTCONF(RFC8040)でもよい。
 光パス設計装置5は、光パス(経路、周波数、通信開始時刻、通信終了時刻)を設計(割当)する装置である。光パス設計装置5は、例えば、光パスの設計に関する情報交換の必要が生じた際に、制御装置4と通信する。光パス設計装置5は、割当要求信号を制御装置4から取得する。光パス設計装置5は、割当要求信号に基づいて、割当内容を生成する。光パス設計装置5は、割当内容(経路、周波数、通信開始時刻及び通信終了時刻等の選択結果)を、制御装置4に出力する。
 図2は、光パス設計装置5の構成例を示す図である。光パス設計装置5は、設計部50と、探索部51と、記憶部52と、時刻導出部53とを備える。
 設計部50は、割当要求信号を制御装置4から取得する。設計部50は、割当要求信号に基づいて、光パス設計装置5の各機能部の動作を制御する。設計部50は、主信号の経路の情報に基づいて、始点の情報と終点の情報とを生成する。始点の情報は、経路の始点(ノード装置2-A)の識別情報である。終点の情報は、経路の終点(ノード装置2-D)の識別情報である。設計部50は、始点の情報と終点の情報とを、探索部51に出力する。
 探索部51は、始点の情報と終点の情報とを、設計部50から取得する。探索部51は、光ネットワークのトポロジ情報を、記憶部52から取得する。探索部51は、光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と始点情報と終点情報とに基づいて、光ネットワークにおける1本以上の経路の候補を探索する。探索部51は、探索された経路の情報を、時刻導出部53に出力する。これによって、探索部51は、各伝送路3の使用可能時刻情報を、時刻導出部53に要求する。使用可能時刻は、1個以上の周波数スロットを含む周波数帯域が通信に使用可能となる時刻である。使用可能時刻は、使用中の周波数帯域が開放される時刻でもよい。
 記憶部52は、光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と、装置情報と、光パス情報とを記憶する。装置情報は、経路の各通信装置に設定済みのパラメータの情報と、経路の各通信装置の状態遷移(例えば、第1周波数帯域の光パスから第2周波数帯域の光パスへの切替)に必要とされる時間の情報とを含む。図1では、経路の各通信装置は、各ノード装置2である。
 光パス情報は、光ネットワークにおいて設定済みの光パスの情報である。光パス情報は、光パスが設定されている経路の情報と、光パスの周波数(周波数帯域)の情報と、光パスの通信開始時刻の情報と、光パスの通信終了時刻の情報とを含む。
 時刻導出部53は、探索された経路の情報を、設計部50から取得する。時刻導出部53は、装置情報と光パス情報とを、記憶部52から取得する。時刻導出部53は、装置情報と光パス情報とに基づいて、探索された経路の各伝送路3における使用可能時刻を導出する。
 図3は、経路の各伝送路3の使用可能時刻の例を示す図である。図3では、伝送路3と、光信号の周波数スロット(周波数幅)の番号とに基づいて、使用可能時刻「t0」「t1」又は「t2」が定められている。使用可能時刻「t0」は、現在時刻を表す。使用可能時刻「t1」は、使用可能時刻「t0」以降の時刻を表す。使用可能時刻「t2」は、使用可能時刻「t1」以降の時刻を表す。
 時刻導出部53は、伝送路3ごとに、使用可能時刻を導出する。なお、時刻導出部53は、ノード装置2ごとに、使用可能時刻を導出してもよい。
 伝送路3の使用可能時刻は、その伝送路3の第1端に接続された第1のノード装置2の使用可能時刻と、その伝送路3の第2端に接続された第2のノード装置2の使用可能時刻とに基づいて定められる。例えば、伝送路3の第1端に接続された第1のノード装置2の使用可能時刻と、その伝送路3の第2端に接続された第2のノード装置2の使用可能時刻とのうちで、最も遅い時刻が、その伝送路3の使用可能時刻である。
 図3では、伝送路3-1の使用可能時刻は、伝送路3-1の第1端に接続されたノード装置2-Aの使用可能時刻と、伝送路3-1の第2端に接続されたノード装置2-Bの使用可能時刻とに基づいて定められる。例えば、周波数スロット「SL1」について、伝送路3-1の使用可能時刻は、伝送路3-1の第1端に接続されたノード装置2-Aの使用可能時刻と、伝送路3-1の第2端に接続されたノード装置2-Bの使用可能時刻とのうちで、最も遅い時刻「t0」が、伝送路3-1の使用可能時刻である。
 時刻導出部53は、経路における伝送路3ごとの使用可能時刻を導出する。経路における伝送路3ごとの使用可能時刻のうちで、最も遅い使用可能時刻が、その経路と周波数帯域との組み合わせの使用可能時刻である。
 図3では、例えば周波数スロット「SL3」が割り当てられた場合、伝送路3-1の使用可能時刻「t0」と、伝送路3-2の使用可能時刻「t0」と、伝送路3-3の使用可能時刻「t0」とのうちで、最も遅い時刻「t0」が、伝送路3-1から伝送路3-3までの経路と周波数スロット「SL3」との組み合わせの使用可能時刻である。
 図3では、例えば周波数スロット「SL4」が割り当てられた場合、伝送路3-1の使用可能時刻「t0」と、伝送路3-2の使用可能時刻「t0」と、伝送路3-3の使用可能時刻「t1」とのうちで、最も遅い時刻「t1」が、伝送路3-1から伝送路3-3までの経路と周波数スロット「SL4」との組み合わせの使用可能時刻である。
 したがって、割り当てが要求されている新たな需要に対して、例えば周波数スロット「SL3」及び「SL4」が割り当てられた場合、最も遅い時刻「t1」が、伝送路3-1から伝送路3-3までの経路と、周波数スロット「SL3」及び「SL4」との組み合わせの使用可能時刻である。
 設計部50は、経路について、現在時刻から使用可能時刻までの時間が最も短くなるように、経路と周波数帯域とを選択する。通信は、1個以上の周波数スロットを含む周波数帯域を用いて実行される。図3では、割当要求信号の需要情報に2個の周波数スロット(周波数帯域)が必要とされている場合、設計部50は、周波数スロット「SL3」及び「SL4」を選択する。この場合、最も早い時刻「t1」に割り当てが可能となる。
 図3では、割当要求信号の需要情報に3個の周波数スロット(周波数帯域)が必要とされている場合、設計部50は、周波数スロット「SL1」「SL2」及び「SL3」を選択する。設計部50は、周波数スロット「SL2」「SL3」及び「SL4」を選択してもよい。これらの場合、最も早い時刻「t2」に割り当てが可能となる。
 次に、光パス設計装置5の動作例を説明する。
 図4は、光パス設計装置5の動作例を示すフローチャートである。探索部51は、光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と、始点の情報と、終点の情報とに基づいて、光ネットワークにおける1本以上の経路の候補を探索する(ステップS101)。時刻導出部53は、経路の各伝送路3の使用可能時刻を、周波数帯域ごとに導出する(ステップS102)。設計部50は、周波数帯域ごとに導出された使用可能時刻に基づいて、経路と周波数帯域との組み合わせとして予め定められた候補のうちから、経路と周波数帯域との組み合わせを選択する(ステップS103)。
 図5は、光パス設計装置5の動作例を示すシーケンス図である。設計部50は、割当要求信号を制御装置4から取得する(ステップS201)。設計部50は、経路探索の実行を探索部51に要求する(ステップS202)。探索部51は、トポロジ情報を記憶部52から取得する(ステップS203)。探索部51は、光ネットワークにおける1本以上の経路の候補を探索する(ステップS204)。探索部51は、経路の探索結果を設計部50に送信する(ステップS205)。
 設計部50は、経路の探索結果を探索部51から取得する(ステップS206)。設計部50は、経路の各伝送路3の使用可能時刻情報を、時刻導出部53に要求する(ステップS207)。時刻導出部53は、経路の各伝送路3の装置情報を、記憶部52から取得する(ステップS208)。時刻導出部53は、経路の各伝送路3の光パス情報を、記憶部52から取得する(ステップS209)。時刻導出部53は、装置情報と光パス情報とに基づいて、経路の各伝送路3の使用可能時刻を周波数帯域ごとに導出する(ステップS210)。時刻導出部53は、各伝送路3の使用可能時刻情報を、設計部50に送信する(ステップS211)。
 設計部50は、各伝送路3の使用可能時刻情報を、時刻導出部53から取得する(ステップS212)。設計部50は、各伝送路3の使用可能時刻情報に基づいて、割当内容として、経路と周波数帯域とを選択する(ステップS213)。設計部50は、割当内容を制御装置4に出力する(ステップS214)。
 以上のように、探索部51は、光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と始点の情報と終点の情報とに基づいて、光ネットワークにおける始点から終点までの1本以上の経路の候補を探索する。時刻導出部53は、1個以上の周波数スロットを含む周波数帯域が通信に使用可能となる時刻である使用可能時刻を、その経路に含まれている伝送路3又はノード装置2ごとに導出する。設計部50は、伝送路3又はノード装置2ごとに導出された使用可能時刻に基づいて、探索された1本以上の経路の候補のうちから経路を選択する。設計部50は、選択された経路における光パスを伝送される光信号の周波数帯域を選択する。
 これによって、光パスの需要の時間的な制約を満たすように光パスを設計することが可能である。パラメータが設定されてからパラメータが動作に反映されるまでの遅延が考慮された光パス設計が可能である。
 (第2実施形態)
 第2実施形態では、ノード装置の使用可能時刻だけでなく光送受信器(光トランスポンダ)の使用可能時刻も考慮される点が、第1実施形態と相違する。第2実施形態では、第1実施形態との相違点を主に説明する。
 図6は、通信システム1bの構成例を示す図である。通信システム1bは、複数のノード装置2と、ノード装置2同士を繋ぐ複数の伝送路3(光ファイバ)と、制御装置4と、光パス設計装置5と、複数の送受信器6(トランスポンダ)とを備える。
 送受信器6は、光信号の経路のノード装置2に接続される。図6では、送受信器6-1と送受信器6-2とは、ノード装置2-A(経路の始点)に接続される。送受信器6-3と送受信器6-4とは、ノード装置2-D(経路の終点)に接続される。これによって、ノード装置2-Aからノード装置2-Dまでの間に光パスが設定される。
 設計部50は、経路及び周波数の組み合わせ(候補)のうちから、現在時刻から使用可能時刻(光パスの設定時刻)までの時間が最も短い経路及び周波数を選択する。例えば、設計部50は、経路と使用可能時刻とのバランスが最も良くなる経路及び周波数を、割当内容として選択する。バランスが最も良くなる経路及び周波数とは、例えば、予め定められた条件を満たす経路と使用可能時刻である。予め定められた条件とは、例えば、現在時刻から使用可能時刻までの時間が最も短いという条件である。予め定められた条件とは、例えば、予め定められたコスト関数(指標)の値が閾値以下又は所定範囲となるという条件でもよい。予め定められた複数の条件は、組み合わされてもよい。
 図7は、経路の各伝送路3の使用可能時刻の例を示す図である。図7に示された使用可能時刻の例は、図3に示された使用可能時刻の例と同様である。ここで、需要に新たに割り当てられる光パスに必要とされる周波数スロットの個数は、一例として1個である。また、経路の各伝送路3における周波数スロット「SL3」の使用可能時刻は、現在時刻「t0」である。
 図8は、各送受信器6の使用可能時刻の例を示す図である。図8では、送受信器6-1は、使用可能時刻「t2」まで、周波数スロット「SL1」及び「SL2」を使用中である。送受信器6-1は、使用可能時刻「t3」まで、周波数スロット「SL3」「SL4」「SL5」及び「SL6」を使用中である。このため、周波数スロット「SL1」又は「SL2」から、周波数スロット「SL3」「SL4」「SL5」又は「SL6」に、使用中の周波数スロットを送受信器6-1が切り替えるためには、使用可能時刻「t3」になるまで、切り替えの実行を送受信器6-1が待つ必要がある。
 送受信器6-2は、使用可能時刻「t1」まで、周波数スロット「SL2」及び「SL3」を使用中である。送受信器6-2は、使用可能時刻「t2」まで、周波数スロット「SL1」「SL4」「SL5」及び「SL6」を使用中である。このため、周波数スロット「SL2」又は「SL3」から、周波数スロット「SL1」「SL4」「SL5」又は「SL6」に、使用中の周波数スロットを送受信器6-2が切り替えるためには、使用可能時刻「t2」になるまで、切り替えの実行を送受信器6-2が待つ必要がある。
 図8では、割当要求信号の需要情報に1個の周波数スロット(周波数帯域)が必要とされている場合、設計部50は、周波数スロット「SL3」と送受信器6-2と送受信器6-3とを選択する。この場合、最も早い時刻「t1」に割り当てが可能となる。
 次に、光パス設計装置5の動作例を説明する。
 図9は、光パス設計装置5の動作例を示すフローチャートである。探索部51は、光ネットワークにおける1本以上の経路の候補を探索する(ステップS301)。時刻導出部53は、経路の各伝送路3の使用可能時刻を、周波数帯域ごとに導出する(ステップS302)。設計部50は、始点に接続された各送受信器6の使用可能時刻と、終点に接続された各送受信器6の使用可能時刻とを、周波数帯域ごとに導出する(ステップS303)。現在時刻から使用可能時刻までの時間が最も短い送受信器6と経路と周波数帯域の組み合わせを選択する(ステップS304)。
 図10は、光パス設計装置5の動作例を示すシーケンス図である。ステップS401からステップS412までの各動作は、図5に示されたステップS201からステップS212までの各動作と同様である。
 設計部50は、各送受信器6の使用可能時刻情報を、時刻導出部53に要求する(ステップS413)。時刻導出部53は、各送受信器6の装置情報を、記憶部52から取得する(ステップS414)。時刻導出部53は、各送受信器6の光パス情報を、記憶部52から取得する(ステップS415)。時刻導出部53は、装置情報と光パス情報とに基づいて、各送受信器6の使用可能時刻を周波数帯域ごとに導出する(ステップS416)。時刻導出部53は、各送受信器6の使用可能時刻情報を、設計部50に送信する(ステップS417)。
 設計部50は、各送受信器6の使用可能時刻情報を、時刻導出部53から取得する(ステップS418)。設計部50は、各伝送路3の使用可能時刻情報と、各送受信器6の使用可能時刻情報とに基づいて、割当内容として、経路と周波数帯域とを選択する(ステップS419)。設計部50は、割当内容を制御装置4に出力する(ステップS420)。
 以上のように、時刻導出部53は、始点に接続された1台以上の第1の送受信器6の使用可能時刻と、終点に接続された1台以上の第2の送受信器6の使用可能時刻とを導出する。設計部50は、第1の送受信器6の使用可能時刻と、第2の送受信器6の使用可能時刻と、伝送路3ごとの使用可能時刻とに基づいて、経路と周波数帯域と第1の送受信器6と第2の送受信器6とを選択する。時刻導出部53は、伝送路3の第1端に接続された第1のノード装置2の使用可能時刻と、その伝送路3の第2端に接続された第2のノード装置2の使用可能時刻とのうちで、より遅い時刻を、その伝送路3の使用可能時刻として導出してもよい。
 これによって、光送受信器(光トランスポンダ)における光パスの設定に必要とされる時間がボトルネックになる場合でも、光パスの需要の時間的な制約を満たすように光パスを設計することが可能である。
 (第3実施形態)
 第3実施形態では、光パスの設定期限(時間制約として指定された時刻)が考慮される点が、第1実施形態及び第2実施形態と相違する。第3実施形態では、第1実施形態と及び第2実施形態の相違点を中心に説明する。
 図11は、光パス設計装置5の動作例を示すフローチャートである。ステップS501からステップS503までの各動作は、ステップS301からステップS303までの各動作と同様である。設計部50は、割当要求信号を用いて指定された時刻以前の使用可能時刻の送受信器6と経路と周波数帯域との組み合わせを、割当内容として選択する(ステップS504)。指定された時刻は、例えば、割当要求信号に含まれている通信開始時刻の情報に基づいて定められる。例えば、指定された時刻は、通信開始時刻以前の時刻である。
 以上のように、設計部50は、指定された時刻以前の使用可能時刻に基づいて、経路と周波数帯域とを選択してもよい。これによって、指定された時刻までに光パスの設定を完了させたい場合でも、光パスの需要の時間的な制約を満たすように光パスを設計することが可能である。
 (変形例)
 設計部50は、設定済みのパラメータを再利用してもよい。すなわち、設計部50は、第1の通信(需要)のために第1の使用可能時刻に基づいて選択された経路と周波数帯域とが、第2の使用可能時刻以降において第2の通信(需要)に使用可能であるか否かを判定する。第1の通信のために第1の使用可能時刻に基づいて選択された経路と周波数帯域とが、第2の使用可能時刻以降において第2の通信に使用可能であると判定された場合、設計部50は、第1の使用可能時刻に基づいて選択された経路と周波数帯域とを、第2の使用可能時刻以降において第2の通信に使用させてもよい。これによって、パラメータの設定に必要とされる時間を短縮して、光パスの需要の時間的な制約を満たすように光パスを設計することが可能である。
 図12は、各実施形態における、光パス設計装置5のハードウェア構成例を示す図である。光パス設計装置5の各機能部のうちの一部又は全部は、CPU(Central Processing Unit)等のプロセッサ500が、不揮発性の記録媒体(非一時的な記録媒体)を有するメモリ502に記憶されたプログラムを実行することにより、ソフトウェアとして実現される。プログラムは、コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体に記録されてもよい。コンピュータ読み取り可能な記録媒体とは、例えばフレキシブルディスク、光磁気ディスク、ROM(Read Only Memory)、CD-ROM(Compact Disc Read Only Memory)等の可搬媒体、コンピュータシステムに内蔵されるハードディスク等の記憶装置501などの非一時的な記録媒体である。光パス設計装置5の各機能部のうちの一部又は全部は、例えば、LSI(Large Scale Integrated circuit)、ASIC(Application Specific Integrated Circuit)、PLD(Programmable Logic Device)又はFPGA(Field Programmable Gate Array)等を用いた電子回路(electronic circuit又はcircuitry)を含むハードウェアを用いて実現されてもよい。
 以上、この発明の実施形態について図面を参照して詳述してきたが、具体的な構成はこの実施形態に限られるものではなく、この発明の要旨を逸脱しない範囲の設計等も含まれる。
 本発明は、光ネットワークの通信システムに適用可能である。

Claims (8)

  1.  1本以上の伝送路をリンクとし複数のノード装置をノードとする光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と始点の情報と終点の情報とに基づいて、前記光ネットワークにおける前記始点から前記終点までの1本以上の経路の候補を探索する探索部と、
     1個以上の周波数スロットを含む周波数帯域が通信に使用可能となる時刻である使用可能時刻を、前記経路に含まれている前記伝送路又は前記ノード装置ごとに導出する時刻導出部と、
     前記伝送路又は前記ノード装置ごとに導出された前記使用可能時刻に基づいて、探索された1本以上の前記経路の候補のうちから前記経路を選択し、選択された前記経路における光パスを伝送される光信号の前記周波数帯域を選択する設計部と
     を備える光パス設計装置。
  2.  前記時刻導出部は、前記始点に接続された1台以上の第1の送受信器の前記使用可能時刻と、前記終点に接続された1台以上の第2の送受信器の前記使用可能時刻とを導出し、
     前記設計部は、前記第1の送受信器の前記使用可能時刻と、前記第2の送受信器の前記使用可能時刻と、前記伝送路ごとの前記使用可能時刻とに基づいて、前記経路と前記周波数帯域と前記第1の送受信器と前記第2の送受信器とを選択する、
     請求項1に記載の光パス設計装置。
  3.  前記時刻導出部は、前記伝送路の第1端に接続された第1のノード装置の前記使用可能時刻と、前記伝送路の第2端に接続された第2のノード装置の前記使用可能時刻とのうちで、より遅い時刻を、前記伝送路の前記使用可能時刻として導出する、
     請求項1又は請求項2に記載の光パス設計装置。
  4.  前記設計部は、前記経路について、現在時刻から前記使用可能時刻までの時間が最も短くなるように、前記経路と前記周波数帯域とを選択する、
     請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の光パス設計装置。
  5.  前記設計部は、指定された時刻以前の前記使用可能時刻に基づいて、前記経路と前記周波数帯域とを選択する、
     請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の光パス設計装置。
  6.  前記設計部は、第1の通信のために第1の前記使用可能時刻に基づいて選択された前記経路と前記周波数帯域とが、第2の前記使用可能時刻以降において第2の通信に使用可能である場合、第1の前記使用可能時刻に基づいて選択された前記経路と前記周波数帯域とを、第2の前記使用可能時刻以降において第2の通信に使用させる、
     請求項1から請求項5のいずれか一項に記載の光パス設計装置。
  7.  光パス設計装置が実行する光パス設計方法であって、
     1本以上の伝送路をリンクとし複数のノード装置をノードとする光ネットワークのトポロジ情報と始点の情報と終点の情報とに基づいて、前記光ネットワークにおける前記始点から前記終点までの1本以上の経路の候補を探索する。探索ステップと、
     1個以上の周波数スロットを含む周波数帯域が通信に使用可能となる時刻である使用可能時刻を、前記経路に含まれている前記伝送路又は前記ノード装置ごとに導出する時刻導出ステップと、
     前記伝送路又は前記ノード装置ごとに導出された前記使用可能時刻に基づいて、探索された1本以上の前記経路の候補のうちから前記経路を選択し、選択された前記経路における光パスを伝送される光信号の前記周波数帯域を選択する設計ステップと
     を含む光パス設計方法。
  8.  請求項1から請求項6のいずれか一項に記載の光パス設計装置としてコンピュータを機能させるためのプログラム。
