Description
本発明は、エポキシ樹脂組成物に関する。特に本発明は、低温硬化性および耐衝撃性に優れたエポキシ樹脂組成物、好ましくは構造用エポキシ樹脂組成物に関するものである。
近年自動車業界では燃費向上による排気ガスの排出削減などが求められ、車体の軽量化が必要とされている。車体の骨格には従来金属が主に用いられてきたが、軽量にするために部分的にプラスチック部材が用いられるなど部材の多様化が進んでいる。これに伴い、従来溶接で行っていた接合をエポキシ樹脂などの接着剤で代用する傾向にある(特許文献1)。
しかしながら、従来のエポキシ樹脂は、接着力が高いものは多く存在するが、車体の性能に求められる耐衝撃性について満足のいくものではなかった。また耐衝撃性に優れたエポキシ樹脂は硬化温度が高く、様々な部材に対応することが困難であり、対象部材が限られてしまう問題があった。
本発明者らは、上記課題を解決するべく鋭意検討した結果、低温硬化性を有しながらも、耐衝撃性に優れたエポキシ樹脂組成物を得る手法を見出した。
具体的に、本発明は、以下のような態様であり得る。

本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、低温硬化性を有しているにもかかわらず、耐衝撃性に優れているため、様々な部材に適用でき、非常に有用である。
以下に発明の詳細を説明する。なお、本明細書において、「X~Y」は、その前後に記載される数値(XおよびY)を下限値および上限値として含む意味で使用し、「X以上Y以下」を意味する。このような数値範囲の記載は例示であって、各範囲の下限Xと上限Y、並びに実施例の数値とを適宜組み合わせた範囲も好ましく使用することができる。また、以下で例示する好ましい態様やより好ましい態様等は、「好ましい」や「より好ましい」等の表現にかかわらず適宜相互に組み合わせて使用することができる。さらに、「含有する」又は「含む」等の用語は、「本質的になる」や「のみからなる」と読み替えてもよい。
<(A)成分>
本発明で使用される前記(A)は25℃で液状のエポキシ樹脂である。25℃で液状であれば特に限定されないが、低温硬化性の観点からグリシジル基を2つ以上有するエポキシ樹脂が好ましく、グリシジル基を2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がより好ましく、グリシジル基を両末端に1つずつ、合計2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。具体的には、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAD型エポキシ樹脂、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、臭素化ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、水添ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、グリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン型エポキシ樹脂、オルソクレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、脂環式エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。これらは1種類のみで使用しても良く、2種類以上を混合して使用しても良い。なかでも耐衝撃性を向上させる観点からビスフェノール骨格を有するものが好ましく、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂もしくはビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。
本発明で使用される前記(A)は25℃で液状のエポキシ樹脂である。25℃で液状であれば特に限定されないが、低温硬化性の観点からグリシジル基を2つ以上有するエポキシ樹脂が好ましく、グリシジル基を2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がより好ましく、グリシジル基を両末端に1つずつ、合計2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。具体的には、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAD型エポキシ樹脂、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、臭素化ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、水添ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、グリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン型エポキシ樹脂、オルソクレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、脂環式エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。これらは1種類のみで使用しても良く、2種類以上を混合して使用しても良い。なかでも耐衝撃性を向上させる観点からビスフェノール骨格を有するものが好ましく、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂もしくはビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。
前記(A)のエポキシ当量は低温硬化性の観点から、100~500g/eqが好ましく、より好ましくは120~400g/eqであり、最も好ましくは150~300g/eqである。作業性の観点から(A)の粘度は、25℃で0.1Pa・s~200Pa・sが好ましく、1Pa・s~100Pa・sがより好ましく、2~50Pa・sがさらに好ましい。

<(B)成分>
本発明で使用される(B)は25℃で固形のエポキシ樹脂である。25℃で固形であれば特に限定されないが、硬化性の観点から一分子中にグリシジル基を2つ以上有するエポキシ樹脂が好ましく、グリシジル基を2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がより好ましく、グリシジル基を両末端に1つずつ、合計2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。(B)の具体例としては、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAD型エポキシ樹脂、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、臭素化ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、水添ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、グリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン型エポキシ樹脂、オルソクレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、脂環式エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。これらは1種類のみで使用しても良く、2種類以上を混合して使用しても良い。なかでも(A)との相溶性、耐衝撃性を向上させる観点からビスフェノール骨格を有するものが好ましく、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂もしくはビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。
本発明で使用される(B)は25℃で固形のエポキシ樹脂である。25℃で固形であれば特に限定されないが、硬化性の観点から一分子中にグリシジル基を2つ以上有するエポキシ樹脂が好ましく、グリシジル基を2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がより好ましく、グリシジル基を両末端に1つずつ、合計2つ有するエポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。(B)の具体例としては、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールS型エポキシ樹脂、ビスフェノールAD型エポキシ樹脂、ナフタレン型エポキシ樹脂、ビフェニル型エポキシ樹脂、フェノールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、臭素化ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、水添ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂、グリシジルアミン型エポキシ樹脂、ジシクロペンタジエン型エポキシ樹脂、オルソクレゾールノボラック型エポキシ樹脂、脂環式エポキシ樹脂などが挙げられるが、これらに限定されるものではない。これらは1種類のみで使用しても良く、2種類以上を混合して使用しても良い。なかでも(A)との相溶性、耐衝撃性を向上させる観点からビスフェノール骨格を有するものが好ましく、ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂もしくはビスフェノールF型エポキシ樹脂がさらに好ましい。
耐衝撃性を向上させる観点から、(B)のエポキシ当量は400~10000g/eqが好ましく、より好ましくは400~7000g/eqであり、最も好ましくは400~5000g/eqである。前記(B)の軟化点は(A)と混合した際に高い接着力を発現させる観点から20~200℃が好ましく、30~180℃がより好ましく、50~170℃が最も好ましい。
前記(B)成分の市販品としては、jER1001、1002、1003、1004、1007、1009、1010、1003F、1004F、1005F、1009F、4005P、4007P、4010P、1256、4250,4275、154、157S70、1032H60、YX7700、YX8800、YX7760、YX4000(三菱化学株式会社製)、D.E.R671、661E、662E、692、663U(ダウケミカル社製)、EPICLON1050、1055、2050、3050、4050、7050、HM-091、HM-101、N-660、N-665、N-670、N-673、N-680、N-690、N-695、N-730A、N-740、N-770、N-775、TSR-601(DIC株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
前記(B)は前記(A)100質量部に対して、5~50質量部が好ましく、10~40質量部がさらに好ましく、最も好ましくは15~30質量部である。5質量部以上であれば、耐衝撃性を向上することができ、50質量部以下であれば作業性や接着力を低下させる恐れがない。
前記(A)と(B)の質量比は5:5~9:1で混合することが好ましく、6:4~9:1がさらに好ましく、7:3~9:1が最も好ましい。5:5~9:1であることで、作業性を損なうことなく、耐衝撃性を向上させることができる。
前記(A)及び(B)成分の好ましい態様として、グリシジル基を両末端に1つずつ、合計2つ有する以下の構造で示されるビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂を挙げることができる。以下の構造を有し、かつ、25℃で液体であれば(A)成分として好ましく、25℃で固体であれば(B)成分として好ましく使用できる。

前記(A)及び(B)成分の好ましい態様として、グリシジル基を両末端に1つずつ、合計2つ有する以下の構造で示されるビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂を挙げることができる。以下の構造を有し、かつ、25℃で液体であれば(A)成分として好ましく、25℃で固体であれば(B)成分として好ましく使用できる。

<(C)成分>
本発明の(C)はゴム変性エポキシ樹脂である。ただし、(A)および(B)は(C)に含まれない、つまり、(C)は(A)や(B)とは異なる成分である。本発明のゴム変性エポキシ樹脂は、ブタジエンゴム、アクリルゴム、シリコーンゴム、ブチルゴム、オレフィンゴム、スチレンゴム、アクリロニトリルブタジエンゴム、スチレンブタジエンゴム、イソプレンゴム、エチレンプロピレンゴム等のゴムとエポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基を反応させた化合物である。なかでも耐衝撃性に優れることからアクリロニトリルブタジエンゴムとエポキシ基を反応させた化合物が好ましい。
本発明の(C)はゴム変性エポキシ樹脂である。ただし、(A)および(B)は(C)に含まれない、つまり、(C)は(A)や(B)とは異なる成分である。本発明のゴム変性エポキシ樹脂は、ブタジエンゴム、アクリルゴム、シリコーンゴム、ブチルゴム、オレフィンゴム、スチレンゴム、アクリロニトリルブタジエンゴム、スチレンブタジエンゴム、イソプレンゴム、エチレンプロピレンゴム等のゴムとエポキシ樹脂中のエポキシ基を反応させた化合物である。なかでも耐衝撃性に優れることからアクリロニトリルブタジエンゴムとエポキシ基を反応させた化合物が好ましい。
前記(C)のエポキシ当量としては、200~700g/eqが好ましく、300~600g/eqがさらに好ましく、最も好ましくは350~500g/eqである。200~700g/eqであれば、耐衝撃性に優れた組成物を得ることができ、硬化性を損なう恐れがない。
前記(C)の含有量は(A)と(B)の合計100質量部に対して0.1~50質量部が好ましく、0.5~30質量部が好ましく、1~15質量部が最も好ましい。0.1以上であることで、耐衝撃性に優れた組成物を得ることができ、50質量部以下であることで接着強度を低下させる恐れがない。
前記(C)の市販品としては、EPR-1415-1、EPR-2000、EPR02007、EPR-1630(株式会社ADEKA製)、TSR-960、TSR-601(DIC株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
<(D)成分>
本発明の(D)はブロックウレタン樹脂である。本発明でいうブロックウレタン樹脂とはイソシアネート化合物とポリヒドロキシ化合物とを反応させて得られたウレタン樹脂(ポリウレタン)の分子鎖末端または分子鎖中に残っている活性イソシアネート基を、ブロック化剤によりブロック化してなる化合物である。ここでいうブロック化とは、前記活性イソシアネート基と前記ブロック剤が反応することによりこれを安定化させ、加熱により所定の温度に達するまでは当該活性イソシアネート基を反応しないようにすることを意味する。即ち、本発明の(B)成分のブロックウレタン樹脂は、イソシアネートとポリアミン又はポリオールとの反応により得られたウレタン樹脂(ポリウレタン)において、ウレタン骨格中に存在するイソシアネート基をブロック剤で保護し、貯蔵安定性や溶剤安定性等の特性を向上したものである。
本発明の(D)はブロックウレタン樹脂である。本発明でいうブロックウレタン樹脂とはイソシアネート化合物とポリヒドロキシ化合物とを反応させて得られたウレタン樹脂(ポリウレタン)の分子鎖末端または分子鎖中に残っている活性イソシアネート基を、ブロック化剤によりブロック化してなる化合物である。ここでいうブロック化とは、前記活性イソシアネート基と前記ブロック剤が反応することによりこれを安定化させ、加熱により所定の温度に達するまでは当該活性イソシアネート基を反応しないようにすることを意味する。即ち、本発明の(B)成分のブロックウレタン樹脂は、イソシアネートとポリアミン又はポリオールとの反応により得られたウレタン樹脂(ポリウレタン)において、ウレタン骨格中に存在するイソシアネート基をブロック剤で保護し、貯蔵安定性や溶剤安定性等の特性を向上したものである。
前記ポリアミン化合物とは、分子中に2つ以上のアミノ基を有する化合物のことを言い、特に限定されないが、エチレンジアミン、ヘキサメチレンジアミン等が挙げられる。
前記ポリオール化合物とは、分子中に2つ以上の水酸基を有する化合物のことを言い、特に限定されないが、ポリエステルポリオール(ポリカーボネートポリオールを含む)、ポリエーテルポリオール、ポリプロピレングリコール等のポリアルキレングリコールを含むポリアルキレンポリオール、が挙げられる。
前記イソシアネート化合物とは、分子中に2つ以上のイソシアネート基を有する化合物のことを言い、特に限定されないが、その具体例としては、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)ベンゼン、1,3-ビス(イソシアナトメチル)シクロヘキサン、1,6-ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、トリメチルヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、リジンジイソシアネート、トリレンジイソシアネート、キシリレンジイソシアネート、メタテトラメチルキシリレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネート(3-イソシアネートメチル-3,5,5-トリメチルシクロヘキシルイソシアネート)、1,3-又は1,4-ビス(イソシアネートメチル)シクロヘキサン、ジフェニルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネート、ジシクロヘキシルメタン-4,4’-ジイソシアネート、ナフタレン-1,5-ジイソシアネート、4,4’-ジイソシアネート-3,3’-ジメチルビフェニル、1,4-フェニレンジイソシアネート水添トリレンジイソシアネートなどが挙げられる。なかでも、柔軟性の観点から1,6-ヘキサメチレンジイソシアネート、トリレンジイソシアネート、イソホロンジイソシアネートが好ましい。
前記ポリヒドロキシ化合物としては、例えば、ポリエーテルポリオール、ポリエステルポリオール、ポリカーボネートポリオール、ポリアミドポリオール、アクリルポリオール、ポリウレタンポリオールなどが挙げられる。柔軟性の観点から、ポリエーテルポリオールであることが好ましい。
前記ブロック化剤としては、フェノール、オキシム、アルコール、アミン、ラクタム等が挙げられる。フェノールの具体例としては、フェノール、クレゾール、キシレノール、エチルフェノール、プロピルフェノール、ブチルフェノール、オクチルフェノール、ノニルフェノール、ニトロフェノール、クロロフェノールなどが挙げられる。オキシムの具体例としては、ホルムアミドオキシム、アセトアミドオキシム、アセトオキシム、ジアセチルモノオキシム、ベンゾフェノンオキシム、シクロヘキサノンオキシム、メチルエチルケトオキシム、メチルイソブチルケトオキシム、ジメチルケトオキシム、ジエチルケトオキシムなどが挙げられる。アルコールの具体例としては、メタノール、エタノール、プロパノール、ブタノール、2-エチルヘキサノール、ヘプタノール、ヘキサノール、オクタノール、イソノニルアルコール、ステアリルアルコール、ベンジルアルコール、メチルグリコール、エチルグリコール、エチルジグリコール、エチルトリグリコール、ブチルグリコール、ブチルジグリコール、エチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル、エチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル、エチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルなどが挙げられる。アミンの具体例としては、ジブチルアミン、ジイソプロピルアミン、ジ-tert-ブチルアミン、ジ-2-エチルヘキシルアミン、ジシクロヘキシルアミン、ベンジルアミン、ジフェニルアミン、アニリン、カルバゾール、エチレンイミン、ポリエチレンイミン、モノメチルエタノールアミン、ジエチルエタノールアミン、トリエチルエタノールアミンなどが挙げられる。ラクタムの具体例としては、β-ブチロラクタム、β-プロピオラクタム、γ-ブチロラクタム、δ-バレロラクタム、ε-カプロラクタムなどのラクタム類などが挙げられる。なかでも、低温硬化性の観点からジシクロヘキシルアミン、ジフェニルアミン、ε-カプロラクトン及びε-カプロラクタムが好ましい。
前記(D)のブロックイソシアネート当量は500~2500g/eqが好ましく、700~2300g/eqがさらに好ましく、1000~2000g/eqが最も好ましい。100~1500g/eqであることで、硬化物が柔軟になりすぎることなく、低温硬化性を維持することができる。
前記(D)の含有量は(A)~(C)の合計100質量部に対して、0.1~50質量部が好ましく、0.5~30質量部がより好ましく、最も好ましくは1~20質量部である。0.1~50質量部であることで、耐衝撃性に優れると共に接着性を低下させることがない。
前記(D)の市販品としてはQR-9466、QR-9401-1、QR-9327-1(株式会社ADEKA製)、BI7641、BI7642、BI7950、BI7951、BI7960、BI7961、BI7963、BI7981、BI7982、BI7984、BI7990、BI7991、BI7992(Baxenden社製)などが挙げられる。
<(E)成分>
本発明の(E)は平均粒径が0.1~150μmの球状もしくは真球状の無機フィラーである。耐衝撃性を飛躍的に向上させる主要な成分である。球状もしくは真球状の無機フィラーであれば特に限定されないが、ガラス、タルク、アルミナ、ベーマイト、炭酸カルシウム、シリカ、モンモリロナイト、マイカ及びバーミキュライト、水酸化アルミニウム、ガラス、酸化チタンなどが挙げられる。機械的強度により耐衝撃性を高める観点から、ガラスが好ましく、ソーダ石灰ガラスからなるものがさらに好ましい。より機械的強度を高める観点から、中空ではない無機フィラーを用いることが好ましい。ここで真球状とは、目視で略球形である球体、例えば、真球度(μm、JIS B1501:2009)が1.0以下又は0.5~1.0である球体を言う。(E)の平均粒径は0.1~150μmが好ましく、0.5~100μmがさらに好ましく、1~50μmが最も好ましい。特に断らない限り、本明細書における平均粒径の測定方法は、レーザー回折・散乱法(50%体積平均粒径、ISO133201及びISO9276-1)である。0.1~150μmであれば粘度を上昇させることなく、作業性に優れ、耐衝撃性を向上させることができる。(E)はエポキシ樹脂組成物中での分散性を高めるため、表面処理されたものを使用することが好ましい。表面処理剤としてはアミノシラン、グリシドキシシラン、アクリルシランなどが挙げられるが、エポキシ樹脂組成物への分散性の観点から、グリシドキシシランで表面処理されたものが好ましい。
本発明の(E)は平均粒径が0.1~150μmの球状もしくは真球状の無機フィラーである。耐衝撃性を飛躍的に向上させる主要な成分である。球状もしくは真球状の無機フィラーであれば特に限定されないが、ガラス、タルク、アルミナ、ベーマイト、炭酸カルシウム、シリカ、モンモリロナイト、マイカ及びバーミキュライト、水酸化アルミニウム、ガラス、酸化チタンなどが挙げられる。機械的強度により耐衝撃性を高める観点から、ガラスが好ましく、ソーダ石灰ガラスからなるものがさらに好ましい。より機械的強度を高める観点から、中空ではない無機フィラーを用いることが好ましい。ここで真球状とは、目視で略球形である球体、例えば、真球度(μm、JIS B1501:2009)が1.0以下又は0.5~1.0である球体を言う。(E)の平均粒径は0.1~150μmが好ましく、0.5~100μmがさらに好ましく、1~50μmが最も好ましい。特に断らない限り、本明細書における平均粒径の測定方法は、レーザー回折・散乱法(50%体積平均粒径、ISO133201及びISO9276-1)である。0.1~150μmであれば粘度を上昇させることなく、作業性に優れ、耐衝撃性を向上させることができる。(E)はエポキシ樹脂組成物中での分散性を高めるため、表面処理されたものを使用することが好ましい。表面処理剤としてはアミノシラン、グリシドキシシラン、アクリルシランなどが挙げられるが、エポキシ樹脂組成物への分散性の観点から、グリシドキシシランで表面処理されたものが好ましい。
前記(E)の比重は1.0~4.0が好ましく、1.5~3.0がさらに好ましい。1.0以上であれば、エポキシ樹脂組成物中での分散性に優れ、4.0以下であれば保存時に沈降することがない。特に断らない限り、本明細書における比重の測定方法は、メスシリンダー法である。
前記(E)の含有量は(A)~(D)成分の合計100質量部に対して0.05~20質量部が好ましく、0.1~10質量部がより好ましく、0.5~5質量部が最も好ましい。0.05質量部以上であれば耐衝撃性を向上させることができ、20質量部以下であれば、作業性や接着力を低下させることがない。
前記(E)の市販品としては、GB301S、GB731、GB210(ポッターズパロティーニ社製)、ユニビーズUBS-0010E、UBS-0020L、UBS-0020E、UBS-0030L、UBS-0030E(ユニチカ株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
<(F)成分>
本発明の(F)は有機フィラーである。ただし、(F)は(A)~(D)とは異なる成分である。本発明の有機フィラーとしては、ゴム、エラストマー、プラスチック、重合体(または共重合体)などから構成される有機物の粉体であればよい。なかでもコアシェル型などの多層構造を有する有機フィラーが好ましい。分散性の観点から(F)の平均粒径は0.05~50μmが好ましく、0.1~10μmがさらに好ましい。耐衝撃性を向上させるという観点から、コアおよび/またはシェルがアクリル酸エステルおよび/もしくは(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの重合体もしくは共重合体からなるフィラー、またはスチレン化合物の重合体もしくは共重合体からなるフィラーを含むことが好ましく、アクリル酸エステルおよび/もしくは(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの重合体もしくは共重合体からなるものがさらに好ましい。また、硬化物に海島構造をつくることにより接着強度を向上させる観点から加熱によりプレゲル化する有機フィラーが好ましい。
本発明の(F)は有機フィラーである。ただし、(F)は(A)~(D)とは異なる成分である。本発明の有機フィラーとしては、ゴム、エラストマー、プラスチック、重合体(または共重合体)などから構成される有機物の粉体であればよい。なかでもコアシェル型などの多層構造を有する有機フィラーが好ましい。分散性の観点から(F)の平均粒径は0.05~50μmが好ましく、0.1~10μmがさらに好ましい。耐衝撃性を向上させるという観点から、コアおよび/またはシェルがアクリル酸エステルおよび/もしくは(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの重合体もしくは共重合体からなるフィラー、またはスチレン化合物の重合体もしくは共重合体からなるフィラーを含むことが好ましく、アクリル酸エステルおよび/もしくは(メタ)アクリル酸エステルの重合体もしくは共重合体からなるものがさらに好ましい。また、硬化物に海島構造をつくることにより接着強度を向上させる観点から加熱によりプレゲル化する有機フィラーが好ましい。
前記(F)の真比重は0.1~10が好ましく、0.5~3がより好ましい。0.1以上であれば分散性に優れ、海島構造を容易につくることができるため、接着強度を向上させることができ、10以下であれば保存時に沈降する恐れがない。真比重測定はゲーリュサック型比重瓶法を用いて測定した。
前記(F)の市販品としては、メタブレンW-300A、W-450A、W-600A、W-377(三菱化学株式会社製)、GM-0401S、GM-0801,GM-1001、PM-030S、PM-032D、IM-203、IM-401、IM-601、AC-3355、AC-3816N、F301、F320、F351G(アイカ工業株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
前記(F)の配合量は、(A)~(D)の合計量100質量部に対して、0.1~80質量部が好ましく、より好ましくは1~40質量部である。0.1質量部以上であることで背着強度を向上させることができ、80質量部以下であることで粘度上昇を抑制し、作業性を低下させる恐れがない。
<(G)成分>
本発明の(G)は、潜在性硬化剤であり、(A)成分及び(C)成分のエポキシ樹脂を硬化させることができるものであれば、各種の潜在性硬化剤を使用できる。(G)は、一液性エポキシ樹脂組成物として保存安定性を維持する必要がある場合、常温(約25℃)で固体であることが好ましい。低温硬化性の観点から(G-1)融点が200℃以上250℃未満の潜在性硬化剤および/または(G-2)融点が100℃以上200℃未満の潜在性硬化剤を含むことが好ましく、(G-1)融点が200℃以上230℃未満の潜在性硬化剤および/または(G-2)融点が100℃以上170℃未満の潜在性硬化剤を含むことがより好ましい。(G-1)としては、ジシアンジアミドもしくはその誘導体が挙げられ、(G-2)としてはアミンアダクト化合物が挙げられる。低温硬化性と硬化物の樹脂強度を向上させる観点から、(G-1)と(G-2)を組み合わせたものがより好ましい。ジシアンジアミドの誘導体の具体例としては、ジシアンジアミドと、フェニルグリシジルエーテル、ブチルグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールA-ジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールF-ジグリシジルエーテル等のグリシジルエーテル類、またはカルボン酸のグリシジルエステル類等の各種エポキシ化合物との反応物等が挙げられる。分散性の観点から(G)の平均粒径は、0.1~20μmが好ましく、1~10μmが更に好ましい。
本発明の(G)は、潜在性硬化剤であり、(A)成分及び(C)成分のエポキシ樹脂を硬化させることができるものであれば、各種の潜在性硬化剤を使用できる。(G)は、一液性エポキシ樹脂組成物として保存安定性を維持する必要がある場合、常温(約25℃)で固体であることが好ましい。低温硬化性の観点から(G-1)融点が200℃以上250℃未満の潜在性硬化剤および/または(G-2)融点が100℃以上200℃未満の潜在性硬化剤を含むことが好ましく、(G-1)融点が200℃以上230℃未満の潜在性硬化剤および/または(G-2)融点が100℃以上170℃未満の潜在性硬化剤を含むことがより好ましい。(G-1)としては、ジシアンジアミドもしくはその誘導体が挙げられ、(G-2)としてはアミンアダクト化合物が挙げられる。低温硬化性と硬化物の樹脂強度を向上させる観点から、(G-1)と(G-2)を組み合わせたものがより好ましい。ジシアンジアミドの誘導体の具体例としては、ジシアンジアミドと、フェニルグリシジルエーテル、ブチルグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールA-ジグリシジルエーテル、ビスフェノールF-ジグリシジルエーテル等のグリシジルエーテル類、またはカルボン酸のグリシジルエステル類等の各種エポキシ化合物との反応物等が挙げられる。分散性の観点から(G)の平均粒径は、0.1~20μmが好ましく、1~10μmが更に好ましい。
前記ジシアンジアミドもしくはその誘導体の市販品としては、例えば、jERキュアDICY7、15、20、7A(三菱化学株式会社製)、オミキュアDDA10、DDA50、DDA100、DDA5、CG-325、DICY-F、DICY-M(CVC Thermoset Specialties社製)、CG-1200、CG-1400(エアープロダクツジャパン株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
前記アミンアダクト化合物としては、アミン化合物とイソシアネート化合物または尿素化合物との反応生成物(尿素アダクト潜在性硬化剤)、あるいはアミン化合物とエポキシ化合物の反応生成物(アミン-エポキシアダクト潜在性硬化剤)などが公知の物質として挙げられる。低温硬化性と保存安定性を両立する観点から、尿素アダクト潜在性硬化剤が好ましく、なかでも変性脂肪族ポリアミンアダクト、変性脂環式ポリアミンアダクトが好ましく、変性脂肪族ポリアミンアダクトがさらに好ましい。
前記アミンアダクト化合物の市販品としては、例えばフジキュア FXE-1000、フジキュア FXR-1030(T&K TOKA社製品)、アミキュアPN-23、PN-23J、PN-31、PN-31J、PN-40J、PN-H、PN-R、MY-24、MY-R(味の素ファインテクノ株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
前記(G)の配合量は、(A)~(D)の合計100質量部に対して、1~50質量部が好ましく、5~40質量部がさらに好ましく、10~30質量部が最も好ましい。1質量部以上であれば低温硬化性を維持することができ、50質量部以下であれば保存安定性を維持することができる。
前記(G-1)と(G-2)を併用する場合、(G-1)と(G-2)の配合比は、質量比で8:2~2:8が好ましく、7:3~3:7がさらに好ましく、6:4~4:6が最も好ましい。(G-1)と(G-2)の質量比が8:2~2:8であれば低温硬化性と硬化物の樹脂強度を向上させることができる。
<その他の成分>
さらに、本発明の特性を損なわない範囲で、(E)以外の無機フィラー、(F)以外の有機フィラー、顔料、染料、シランカップリング剤、レベリング剤、レオロジーコントロール剤、保存安定剤等の添加剤をさらに適量含んでいてもよい。
さらに、本発明の特性を損なわない範囲で、(E)以外の無機フィラー、(F)以外の有機フィラー、顔料、染料、シランカップリング剤、レベリング剤、レオロジーコントロール剤、保存安定剤等の添加剤をさらに適量含んでいてもよい。
前記(E)以外の無機フィラーや(F)以外の有機フィラーを含有する場合は、(E)以外の無機フィラー及び(F)以外の有機フィラーの両フィラーの合計量が、(A)~(D)の合計100質量部に対して、0.1~100質量部含有することが好ましい。0.1~100質量部であれば耐衝撃性と接着性を低下させる恐れがない。
前記(E)以外の無機フィラーとしては、平均粒径が0.1μm~150μmの、球状ではない、もしくは、真球状以外の(例えば、真球度(μm)が1.0を超える)、無機フィラーであれば特に限定されない。具体的には、ガラス、タルク、アルミナ、ベーマイト、炭酸カルシウム、シリカ、モンモリナイト、マイカ及びバーミキュライト、水酸化アルミニウム、窒化ホウ素、酸化チタン、酸化カルシウムからなる0.1μm未満の無機フィラーや、球状もしくは真球状ではない針状、扁平状、不定形、繊維状等の形状のものが挙げられる。
前記シランカップリング剤としては、例えば、3-アクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジプロピルオキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルジメチルモノメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルジメチルモノエトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルジメチルモノプロピルオキシシラン、2-(3,4-エポキシシクロヘキシル)エチルトリメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルトリエトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン、3-グリシドキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン等のグリシジル基含有シランカップリング剤、ビニルトリス(β-メトキシエトキシ)シラン、ビニルトリエトキシシラン、ビニルトリメトキシシラン等のビニル基含有シランカップリング剤、3-メタクリロキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3-メタクリロキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン、3-メタクリロキシプロピルジメチルモノメトキシシラン、3-メタクリロキシプロピルジメチルモノエトキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルメチルジプロピルオキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルメチルジメトキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルメチルジエトキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルメチルジプロピルオキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルジメチルモノプロピルオキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルジメチルモノメトキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルジメチルモノエトキシシラン、3-アクリロキシプロピルジメチルモノプロピルオキシシラン、γ-メタクリロキシプロピルトリメトキシシラン等の(メタ)アクリル基含有シランカップリング剤、N-β-(アミノエチル)-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-アミノプロピルトリエトキシシラン、N-フェニル-γ-アミノプロピルトリメトキシシラン等のアミノ基含有シランカップリング剤、γ-メルカプトプロピルトリメトキシシラン、γ-クロロプロピルトリメトキシシラン等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、接着力が優れるという観点より、グリシジル基含有シランカップリング剤がより好ましい。これらは単独で用いられてもよく、2種以上が併用されてもよい。シランカップリング剤の配合量は、本発明の(A)成分と(B)成分の合計量100質量部に対して0.1~20質量部であることが好ましい。0.1~20質量部であれば、耐衝撃性を低下させる恐れがない。
前記保存安定剤としては、ホウ酸エステル、リン酸、アルキルリン酸エステル、p-トルエンスルホン酸を使用することができる。ホウ酸エステルとしては、ホウ酸トリブチル、トリメトキシボロキシン、ホウ酸エチルなどが挙げられるがこれらに限定されるものではない。アルキルリン酸エステルとしては、リン酸トリメチル、リン酸トリブチルなどを使用することができるが、これらに限定されるものではない。保存安定剤は単独でも複数を混合して使用しても良い。保存安定剤の配合量は(A)~(D)成分の合計100質量部に対して、0.01~10質量部が好ましい。0.01~10質量部であれば低温硬化性を低下させることがない。
<製造方法>
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、従来公知の方法により製造することができる。本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の製造方法は、例えば、
(1)以下の(A)成分~(F)成分及び任意にその他の成分を混合する工程;
(2)混合して得た混合物を、例えば80~250℃で0.1~5時間加熱する工程;
(3)加熱して得た混合物を例えば50℃以下又は常温まで冷却し、(G)成分を加えて、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得る工程、
を含む。
より具体的には、(A)成分~(F)成分及び任意にその他の成分の所定量を配合し、3本ロール、プラネタリミキサ-等の混合手段を使用して混合し、好ましくは80~250℃の温度、より好ましくは100~200℃で、好ましくは0.1~5時間、より好ましくは0.2~2時間、更に好ましくは1時間30分±20分間、加熱・混合し、50℃以下、または、常温(25℃)としてから(G)成分を混合することにより製造することができる。より好ましくは、(A)及び(B)成分を、80~250℃の温度、より好ましくは100~200℃で、好ましくは0.1~5時間、より好ましくは0.2~2時間撹拌しながら溶融混合し、さらに(C)及び(D)成分を加えて例えば0.1~2時間、好ましくは0.5~1時間混合及び/又は静置し、常温(25℃)となった後、さらに(G)成分を加えて、例えば0.1~2時間、好ましくは0.5~1時間撹拌混合し、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得ても良い。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、従来公知の方法により製造することができる。本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の製造方法は、例えば、
(1)以下の(A)成分~(F)成分及び任意にその他の成分を混合する工程;
(2)混合して得た混合物を、例えば80~250℃で0.1~5時間加熱する工程;
(3)加熱して得た混合物を例えば50℃以下又は常温まで冷却し、(G)成分を加えて、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得る工程、
を含む。
より具体的には、(A)成分~(F)成分及び任意にその他の成分の所定量を配合し、3本ロール、プラネタリミキサ-等の混合手段を使用して混合し、好ましくは80~250℃の温度、より好ましくは100~200℃で、好ましくは0.1~5時間、より好ましくは0.2~2時間、更に好ましくは1時間30分±20分間、加熱・混合し、50℃以下、または、常温(25℃)としてから(G)成分を混合することにより製造することができる。より好ましくは、(A)及び(B)成分を、80~250℃の温度、より好ましくは100~200℃で、好ましくは0.1~5時間、より好ましくは0.2~2時間撹拌しながら溶融混合し、さらに(C)及び(D)成分を加えて例えば0.1~2時間、好ましくは0.5~1時間混合及び/又は静置し、常温(25℃)となった後、さらに(G)成分を加えて、例えば0.1~2時間、好ましくは0.5~1時間撹拌混合し、エポキシ樹脂組成物を得ても良い。
<塗布方法>
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物を被着体への塗布する方法としては、公知のシール剤や接着剤の方法が用いられる。例えば、自動塗布機を用いたディスペンシング、スプレー、インクジェット、スクリーン印刷、グラビア印刷、ディッピング、スピンコートなどの方法を用いることができる。ここで被着体としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、鉄、アルミニウム、銅、ステンレス、アクリル樹脂、ガラス、木材及び金属等の比較的接着が容易な材料の他、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリアセタール、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、シンジオタクチックポリスチレン、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリフェニレンサルファイト、エチレンプロピレンジエンゴム、液晶ポリマー、シクロオレフィンポリマー、ポリカーボネート、6,6-ナイロン、ポリアミド、ポリ塩化ビニル、及びシリコーン樹脂等の比較的接着が困難な難接着材料であってもよい。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物を被着体への塗布する方法としては、公知のシール剤や接着剤の方法が用いられる。例えば、自動塗布機を用いたディスペンシング、スプレー、インクジェット、スクリーン印刷、グラビア印刷、ディッピング、スピンコートなどの方法を用いることができる。ここで被着体としては、特に限定されないが、例えば、鉄、アルミニウム、銅、ステンレス、アクリル樹脂、ガラス、木材及び金属等の比較的接着が容易な材料の他、ポリプロピレン、ポリエチレン、ポリアセタール、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、シンジオタクチックポリスチレン、ポリエチレンナフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリフェニレンエーテル、ポリフェニレンサルファイト、エチレンプロピレンジエンゴム、液晶ポリマー、シクロオレフィンポリマー、ポリカーボネート、6,6-ナイロン、ポリアミド、ポリ塩化ビニル、及びシリコーン樹脂等の比較的接着が困難な難接着材料であってもよい。
<硬化方法および硬化物>
低温硬化性に優れる本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化条件は、80℃以上170℃未満の温度が好ましく、より好ましくは、80℃以上150℃未満であり、さらに好ましくは130℃±5℃又は7℃であり得る。本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、130℃前後の低温であっても硬化し得る、優れた低温硬化性を有する。硬化時間は特に限定されないが、80℃以上170℃未満の温度の場合には3分以上3時間未満が好ましく、5分以上1時間以内がさらに好ましい。
低温硬化性に優れる本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化条件は、80℃以上170℃未満の温度が好ましく、より好ましくは、80℃以上150℃未満であり、さらに好ましくは130℃±5℃又は7℃であり得る。本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、130℃前後の低温であっても硬化し得る、優れた低温硬化性を有する。硬化時間は特に限定されないが、80℃以上170℃未満の温度の場合には3分以上3時間未満が好ましく、5分以上1時間以内がさらに好ましい。
<用途>
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、主に接着剤として使用できる。本発明は、上述したエポキシ樹脂組成物の、被着体同士、少なくとも一方の被着体が金属である被着体同士、又は 金属同士を接着する接着剤としての使用にも関する。本発明は、全ての成分を混合してなる一液性エポキシ樹脂組成物(一液性接着剤)の他、いくつかの成分を別々に調製しかつ保管し、使用時に混合する二液性エポキシ樹脂組成物のキット(二液性接着剤)としても使用することができる。このような本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は様々な用途に使用することができる。具体例としては、自動車用のスイッチ部分、ヘッドランプ、エンジン内部品、電装部品、駆動エンジン、ブレーキオイルタンク、フロントフード、フェンダー、ドアなどのボディパネル、ウインドウ等の接着、封止、注型、コーティング等;電子材料分野では、フラットパネルディスプレイ(液晶ディスプレイ、有機ELディスプレイ、発光ダイオード表示装置、フィールドエミッションディスプレイ)や、ビデオディスク、CD、DVD、MD、ピックアップレンズ、ハードディスク等の接着、封止、注型、コーティング等;電池分野では、リチウム電池、リチウムイオン電池、マンガン電池、アルカリ電池、燃料電池、シリコン系太陽電池、色素増感型電池、有機太陽電池等の接着、封止、コーティング等;光学部品分野では、光スイッチ周辺、光コネクタ周辺の光ファイバー材料、光受動部品、光回路部品、光電子集積回路周辺の接着、封止、コーティング等;光学機器分野では、カメラモジュール、レンズ用材料、ファインダプリズム、ターゲットプリズム、ファインダーカバー、受光センサー部、撮影レンズ、プロジェクションテレビの当社レンズ等の接着、封止、コーティング等;インフラ分野では、ガス管、水道管などの接着、ライニング材、封止、コーティング材等に使用が可能である。なかでも本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は耐衝撃性を有することから、自動車など車両の組み立て等に使用される構造部材の接着用途に適しており、構造部材として好適に使用される被着体同士、少なくとも一方の被着体が金属である被着体同士、又は金属同士の部材の接着により好適である。

本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物の耐衝撃性はISO11343に準じたくさび剥離衝撃試験における動的割裂抵抗値により評価されるものである。
次に実施例を挙げて本発明を更に詳細に説明するが、本発明はこれらの実施例のみに限定されるものではない。なお、特に指定がない限り、試験は全て25℃,55%RHの環境下で実施した。

120℃加温した(A)に(B)を投入し、1時間ミキサー汎用攪拌機で攪拌しながら溶解させた。得られた混合溶液に(C)と(D)を加え、30分プラネタリーミキサーで攪拌し常温になるまで静置した。さらに(E)と(F)を添加し、30分間撹拌し分散させた。さらに(G)を添加し、30分環撹拌し分散させた。詳細な調製量は表1に従い、数値は全て質量部で表記する。いずれの試験も25℃で行った。
[低温硬化性]
鋼板(SPCC-SD 25mm×100mm×1.6mm)に各エポキシ樹脂組成物を1gスポイトで滴下し、熱風乾燥炉で130℃,30分で硬化させた後、得られた硬化物をガラス棒で表面をつつき確認した。
合格基準
○(合格):ガラス棒に樹脂の付着がない
×(不合格):ガラス棒に樹脂が付着する
[耐衝撃性試験/くさび剥離衝撃試験(動的割裂抵抗値)]
耐衝撃性試験(くさび剥離衝撃試験)を、ISO11343に準拠して試験し、動的割裂抵抗値を求めた。具体的には、2枚の鋼板(SPCC-SD,20mm×90mm×0.8mm)の一方の一部に各エポキシ樹脂組成物約1gを塗布し、接着面積が20mm×30mmになるように当該2枚の鋼板を接着し、塗布したエポキシ樹脂組成物を130℃,30分で硬化させた。接着した試験片を衝撃試験機INSTRON CEAST9340を用いて、衝撃スピード2.0m/s 衝撃エネルギー29.3Jで測定を行った。合格基準は、30kN/m以上とした。
鋼板(SPCC-SD 25mm×100mm×1.6mm)に各エポキシ樹脂組成物を1gスポイトで滴下し、熱風乾燥炉で130℃,30分で硬化させた後、得られた硬化物をガラス棒で表面をつつき確認した。
合格基準
○(合格):ガラス棒に樹脂の付着がない
×(不合格):ガラス棒に樹脂が付着する
[耐衝撃性試験/くさび剥離衝撃試験(動的割裂抵抗値)]
耐衝撃性試験(くさび剥離衝撃試験)を、ISO11343に準拠して試験し、動的割裂抵抗値を求めた。具体的には、2枚の鋼板(SPCC-SD,20mm×90mm×0.8mm)の一方の一部に各エポキシ樹脂組成物約1gを塗布し、接着面積が20mm×30mmになるように当該2枚の鋼板を接着し、塗布したエポキシ樹脂組成物を130℃,30分で硬化させた。接着した試験片を衝撃試験機INSTRON CEAST9340を用いて、衝撃スピード2.0m/s 衝撃エネルギー29.3Jで測定を行った。合格基準は、30kN/m以上とした。
表1に示すように、実施例1~8は低温硬化性及び耐衝撃性に優れていることがわかる。(B)成分を含まない比較例1は耐衝撃性が低い。(E)成分を含まない比較例2は耐衝撃性が著しく低い結果を得た。以上のことから、前記(A)~(G)成分を含有することにより、低温硬化性を維持しながら耐衝撃性に優れたエポキシ樹脂組成物が得られることがわかる。
さらにT型剥離接着強度と動的割裂抵抗値の相関を検証するため、試作品1および試作品2を作成し、比較評価を実施した。ここで、試作品1及び2は以下のように調製した。
・試作品1
ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(三菱化学株式会社製、jER828)50質量部、ウレタン変性エポキシ樹脂(株式会社ADEKA社製、EPU-07N)50質量部、ゴム粒子(アイカ工業株式会社社製、ゼフィアックF351G)20質量部、ポリアミンアダクト硬化剤(T&KTOKA株式会社製、FXR-1030)10質量部を25℃の条件下、プラネタリーミキサーで混合して試作品1を得た。
・試作品2
ウレタン変性エポキシ樹脂を含まず、ゴム粒子を30質量部使用した以外は、試作品1と同様にして試作品2を得た。
・試作品1
ビスフェノールA型エポキシ樹脂(三菱化学株式会社製、jER828)50質量部、ウレタン変性エポキシ樹脂(株式会社ADEKA社製、EPU-07N)50質量部、ゴム粒子(アイカ工業株式会社社製、ゼフィアックF351G)20質量部、ポリアミンアダクト硬化剤(T&KTOKA株式会社製、FXR-1030)10質量部を25℃の条件下、プラネタリーミキサーで混合して試作品1を得た。
・試作品2
ウレタン変性エポキシ樹脂を含まず、ゴム粒子を30質量部使用した以外は、試作品1と同様にして試作品2を得た。
[T型剥離接着強度]
T型剥離接着強度を、JIS K 6854-3:1999に準拠して試験した。具体的には、2枚の鋼板(SPCC-SD,25mm×150mm×0.5mm)が、長手方向の面:25mm×100mmの接着面積で接着し、かつ、その余をL字に90度折り曲げることにより、全体として2枚の鋼板の厚さ方向から見るとT字を形成するような試験片を準備した。実施例1、試作品1、試作品2の各のエポキシ樹脂組成物をそれぞれ上記長手方向の面(接着面積25mm×100mm)の一方に塗布し、上述したT型を形成するように貼り合わせ、治具で固定した状態にて130℃で30分間エポキシ樹脂を硬化させた。接着した試験片を常温(25℃)に戻し、25℃の環境下で引張試験機を用いて引張速度50mm/minで測定した。測定により得られたチャートの最初と最後のピークを除いた波状部の平均を測定値とした。合格基準は3kN/m以上とした。
T型剥離接着強度を、JIS K 6854-3:1999に準拠して試験した。具体的には、2枚の鋼板(SPCC-SD,25mm×150mm×0.5mm)が、長手方向の面:25mm×100mmの接着面積で接着し、かつ、その余をL字に90度折り曲げることにより、全体として2枚の鋼板の厚さ方向から見るとT字を形成するような試験片を準備した。実施例1、試作品1、試作品2の各のエポキシ樹脂組成物をそれぞれ上記長手方向の面(接着面積25mm×100mm)の一方に塗布し、上述したT型を形成するように貼り合わせ、治具で固定した状態にて130℃で30分間エポキシ樹脂を硬化させた。接着した試験片を常温(25℃)に戻し、25℃の環境下で引張試験機を用いて引張速度50mm/minで測定した。測定により得られたチャートの最初と最後のピークを除いた波状部の平均を測定値とした。合格基準は3kN/m以上とした。
表2に示すように実施例1の組成物は試作品2よりもT型剥離接着強度が高いが、試作品1よりも低い結果を得た。しかしながら、動的割裂抵抗値は試作品1よりも良好な結果であった。このことから接着強度が高い場合においても耐衝撃性が低い場合があり、接着強度が耐衝撃性と比例しないことがわかる一方、本発明の実施例1のエポキシ樹脂組成物はバランスの取れた、良好なT型剥離接着強度及び動的割裂抵抗値を有することが分かった。
本発明のエポキシ樹脂組成物は、低温硬化性と耐衝撃性に優れ、良好な接着性を有しているため、様々な部材に使用できる接着剤、シール剤、コーティング剤として有用である。
Claims (12)
- (A)25℃で液状のエポキシ樹脂、
(B)25℃で固形のエポキシ樹脂、
(C)ゴム変性エポキシ樹脂(但し(A)および(B)は除く)、
(D)ブロックウレタン樹脂、
(E)平均粒径が0.1μm~150μmの球状無機フィラー、
(F)有機フィラー、及び
(G)潜在性硬化剤、
を含む、エポキシ樹脂組成物。 - 前記(B)が、ビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂を含む、請求項1に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記(E)が、ガラスフィラーである、請求項1又は2に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記(G)が、ジシアンジアミドもしくはその誘導体および/またはアミンアダクト化合物を含む、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- (A):(B)の質量比が、5:5~9:1である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記(C)の含有量が、(A)および(B)の合計100質量部に対して、0.1~50質量部である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 前記(E)の含有量が、(A)および(B)の合計量100質量部に対して0.1~10質量部である、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 130℃で30分間硬化させた時の動的割裂抵抗値が30kN/m以上である、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 一液性エポキシ樹脂組成物である、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物。
- 請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物を硬化させた硬化物。
- 請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物の、被着体同士を接着する接着剤としての使用。
- 請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載のエポキシ樹脂組成物を、さらに80℃以上170℃未満の温度で加熱する工程を含む、前記エポキシ樹脂組成物の硬化方法。
