 一方、防汚層に付着した汚れを拭き取ると、防汚層の防汚性が低下するという不具合がある。
 本発明は、防汚層に付着した汚れを拭き取った後でも、防汚層の防汚性の低下を抑制できる積層体を提供することにある。
 本発明[1]は、基材と、防汚層とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備え、
 前記防汚層が、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物を含み、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定において、ラメラ構造に帰属される波数2nm-1~10nm-1にピークを有し、下記試験により測定される前記防汚層の積分強度比が、0.0035以下である、積層体である。
試験:防汚層について、微小角入射X線回折法における面内回折(インプレーン)測定により、ラメラ構造に帰属されるピークの積分強度(インプレーン回折積分強度)を測定する。別途、防汚層について、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定により、ラメラ構造に帰属されるピークの積分強度(アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を測定する。得られたインプレーン回折積分強度およびアウトオブプレーン回折積分強度に基づき、アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度に対するインプレーン回折積分強度の積分強度比(インプレーン回折積分強度/アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を算出する。
 本発明[2]は、前記基材および前記防汚層の間に、さらに、密着層を備える、請求項上記[1]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明[3]は、前記密着層は、二酸化ケイ素を含む層である、上記[2]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明[4]は、前記防汚層は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物が、シロキサン結合を介して、前記密着層に形成されている、上記[3]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明[5]は、前記基材と前記密着層との間に、さらに、プライマー層を備える、上記[3]または[4]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。

 本発明[7]は、前記反射防止層は、互いに異なる屈折率を有する2以上の層からなる、上記[6]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明[8]は、前記反射防止層は、金属、金属酸化物、金属窒化物からなる群から選択される1種を含む、上記[7]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明[9]は、前記反射防止層の厚み方向一方面は、二酸化ケイ素を含む層である、上記[7]または[8]に記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明[10]は、前記基材および前記反射防止層の間に、さらに、プライマー層を備える、上記[6]~[9]のいずれか一つに記載の積層体を含んでいる。
 本発明の積層体における防汚層は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物を含む。また、防汚層は、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定において、ラメラ構造に帰属される所定のピークを有する。また、防汚層において、所定の試験により測定される積分強度比が、所定の範囲である。そのため、防汚層に付着した汚れを拭き取った後でも、防汚層の防汚性の低下を抑制できる。

 1.第1実施形態
 図1を参照して、本発明の積層体の第1実施形態を説明する。
 図1において、紙面上下方向は、上下方向(厚み方向)であって、紙面上側が、上側(厚み方向一方側)、紙面下側が、下側(厚み方向他方側)である。また、紙面左右方向および奥行き方向は、上下方向に直交する面方向である。具体的には、各図の方向矢印に準拠する。
 1-1.積層体
 積層体1は、所定の厚みを有するフィルム形状(シート形状を含む)を有し、厚み方向と直交する面方向に延び、平坦な上面および平坦な下面を有する。
 図1に示すように、積層体1は、基材2と、防汚層3とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える。積層体1は、より具体的には、基材2と、基材2の上面(厚み方向一方面)に直接配置される防汚層3とを備える。
 積層体1の厚みは、例えば、300μm以下、好ましくは、200μm以下であり、また、例えば、10μm以上、好ましくは、30μm以上である。
 1-2.基材
 基材2は、防汚層3によって、防汚性を付与される被処理体である。
 基材2は、フィルム形状を有する。基材2は、可撓性を有する。基材2は、防汚層3の下面に接触するように、防汚層3の下面全面に、配置されている。
 基材2としては、例えば、高分子フィルムが挙げられる。高分子フィルムの材料としては、例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレートなどのポリエステル樹脂、例えば、ポリメタクリレートなどの(メタ)アクリル樹脂、例えば、ポリエチレン、ポリプロピレン、シクロオレフィンポリマーなどのオレフィン樹脂、例えば、ポリカーボネート樹脂、ポリエーテルスルフォン樹脂、ポリアリレート樹脂、メラミン樹脂、ポリアミド樹脂、ポリイミド樹脂、例えば、トリアセチルセルロースなどのセルロース樹脂、ポリスチレン樹脂などが挙げられ、好ましくは、セルロース樹脂、より好ましくは、トリアセチルセルロースが挙げられる。
 基材2の厚みは、例えば、1μm以上、好ましくは、5μm以上、より好ましくは、10μm以上であり、また、例えば、200μm以下、好ましくは、150μm以下、より好ましくは、100μm以下である。
 基材2の厚みは、ダイヤルゲージ(PEACOCK社製、「DG-205」)を用いて測定することができる。
 また、基材2には、必要により、耐擦傷性を付与する観点から、ハードコート処理などの表面処理を施すことができる。
 また、基材2には、目的および用途に応じて、防眩性を付与することができる。
 1-3.防汚層
 防汚層3は、基材2の厚み方向一方側に対して、垢、指紋などの汚れの付着を防止するための層である。
 防汚層3は、薄膜形状を有する。防汚層3は、基材2の上面全面に、基材2の上面に接触するように、配置されている。
 防汚層3は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物から形成されている。換言すれば、防汚層3は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物を含み、好ましくは、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物からなる。
 パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物としては、例えば、下記一般式(1)に示される化合物などが挙げられる。

 (上記式(1)において、Rは、1つ以上の水素原子がフッ素原子によって置換されたフッ化アルキル基を示し、Rは、パーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造を少なくとも1つ含む構造を示し、Rは、炭素数1以上4以下アルキル基を示し、lは、1以上の整数を示す。)
 Rは、1つ以上の水素がフッ素原子によって置換された、直鎖状又は分岐状のフッ化アルキル基(炭素数1以上20以下)を示し、好ましくは、アルキル基の水素原子のすべてをフッ素原子に置換したパーフルオロアルキル基を示す。
 Rは、パーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造を少なくとも1つ含む構造を示し、好ましくは、パーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造を2つ含む構造を示す。
 パーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造としては、例えば、-(OC2n-(mは1以上50以下の整数を示し、nは、1以上20以下の整数を示す。以下同様。)などの直鎖状のパーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造、例えば、-(OC(CF-、-(OCFCF(CF)CF)-などの分岐状のパーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造が挙げられ、好ましくは、直鎖状のパーフルオロポリエーテル基の繰り返し構造、より好ましくは、-(OCF-、-(OC-が挙げられる。
 Rは、炭素数1以上4以下アルキル基を示し、好ましくは、メチル基を示す。
 Xは、エーテル基、カルボニル基、アミノ基、またはアミド基を表し、好ましくはエーテル基を表す。
 lは、1以上、また、20以下、好ましくは、10以下、より好ましくは、5以下の整数を示す。lは、さらに好ましくは、3を示す。
 このようなパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物のうち、好ましくは、下記一般式(2)に示される化合物が挙げられる。
CF-(OCF-(OC-O-(CH-Si(OCH (2)
 (上記式(2)において、Pは、1以上50以下の整数を示し、Qは、1以上50以下の整数を示す。)
 パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物は、市販品を用いることもでき、具体的には、オプツールUD509(上記一般式(2)で示されるパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物、ダイキン工業社製)、オプツールUD120(ダイキン工業株式会社製)などが挙げられる。
 パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物は、単独使用または2種以上併用することができる。
 防汚層3は、後述する方法により形成される。
 防汚層3の厚みは、例えば、1nm以上、好ましくは、5nm以上であり、また、例えば、30nm以下、好ましくは、20nm以下、より好ましくは、15nm以下である。
 防汚層3の厚みは、蛍光X線(リガク製 ZXS PrimusII)で測定する事ができる。
 防汚層3は、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定において、ラメラ構造に帰属される波数2nm-1~10nm-1にピークを有する。また、防汚層3は、後述する試験により測定される積分強度比が、0.0035以下、好ましくは、0.0030以下、より好ましくは、0.0020以下、さらに好ましくは、0.0010以下である。
 1-4.積層体の製造方法
 図2Aおよび図2Bを参照して、積層体1の製造方法を説明する。
 積層体1の製造方法の製造方法は、基材2を準備する第1工程と、基材2に、防汚層3を配置する第2工程とを備える。また、この製造方法では、各層を、例えば、ロールトゥロール方式で、順に配置する。
 第1工程では、図2Aに示すように、基材2を準備する。
 第2工程では、図2Bに示すように、基材2に、防汚層3を配置する。具体的には、基材2の厚み方向一方面に、防汚層3を配置する。
 基材2に防汚層3を配置するには、まず、基材2の表面に、基材2および防汚層3の密着性の向上の観点から、例えば、コロナ処理、プラズマ処理、フレーム処理、オゾン処理、プライマー処理、グロー処理、ケン化処理などの表面処理を施す。好ましくは、基材2の表面に、プラズマ処理を施す。プラズマ処理において、プラズマ処理強度(W)およびガスの種類を適宜調整することにより、防汚層3の密着性の向上することができる。また、プラズマ処理強度(W)を大きくしすぎないことで、基材2の表面凹凸が大きくなることを抑制することは、後述する積分強度比を所定の範囲に調整する観点から、好ましい場合がある。
 そして、基材2に防汚層3を配置する方法としては、例えば、真空蒸着法、ウェットコーティング法などが挙げられ、好ましくは、後述する積分強度比を所定の範囲に調整する観点から、真空蒸着法が挙げられる。
 真空蒸着法は、真空チャンバー内に蒸着源(パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物)および基材2を対向配置し、蒸着源を加熱し、蒸発または昇華させて、蒸発または昇華した蒸着源を基材2の表面に堆積させる。
 真空蒸着法において、後述する積分強度比を所定の範囲に調整する観点から、蒸着源(るつぼ)の温度は、例えば、200℃以上、好ましくは、220℃以上、より好ましくは、240℃以上、また、例えば、330℃以下、好ましくは、300℃以下、より好ましくは、280℃以下である。
 これにより、基材2の厚み方向一方面に防汚層3を配置し、基材2と、防汚層3とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える積層体1が製造される。
 1-5.作用効果
 防汚層3は、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定において、波数2nm-1~10nm-1にピーク(ラメラ構造に帰属されるピーク)を有する。また、防汚層3は、後述する試験により測定される積分強度比が、0.0035以下、好ましくは、0.0030以下、より好ましくは、0.0020以下、さらに好ましくは、0.0010以下である。
 詳しくは、試験では、防汚層3について、微小角入射X線回折法における面内回折(インプレーン)測定により、ラメラ構造に帰属されるピークの積分強度(インプレーン回折積分強度)を測定する。別途、防汚層3について、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定により、ラメラ構造に帰属されるピークの積分強度(アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を測定する。得られたインプレーン回折積分強度およびアウトオブプレーン回折強度に基づき、アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度に対するインプレーン回折積分強度の積分強度比(インプレーン回折積分強度/アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を算出する。
 アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度は、ラメラが基材2に対して垂直に配向した構造に起因する回折ピークの積分強度である。ラメラが基材2に対して垂直に配向すると、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物も基材2に対して、垂直に配向するため、その末端に位置するアルコキシシランが、基材2に接触しやすくなる。
 また、インプレーン回折積分強度は、ラメラが基材2に対して平行に配向した構造に起因する回折ピーク(波数2nm-1~10nm-1にピーク)の積分強度である。ラメラが基材2に対して平行に配向すると、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物も基材2に対して、平行に配向するため、その末端に位置するアルコキシシランが、基材2に接触しにくくなる。
 そのため、上記の積分強度比が、小さくなるほど、ラメラが基材2に対して垂直に配向した構造が、ラメラが基材2に対して平行に配向した構造に対して、相対的に大きくなるので、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物の末端に位置するアルコキシシランが基材2に接触する割合が増加する。
 そして、具体的には、積分強度比が、0.0035以下であれば、防汚層3に付着した汚れを拭き取った後でも、防汚層3の防汚性の低下を抑制できる(防汚耐久性に優れる。)。
 また、アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度が、インプレーン回折積分強度よりも相対的に大きいということは、面外方向に積層されているラメラが多いということになる。ラメラが面外方向に整列している方が、末端のフルオロ基が表面に効率的に出ているということになり、優れた撥水性が得られる。
 なお、面内回折(インプレーン)測定(インプレーン回折積分強度)および面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定(アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)の測定方法については、後述する実施例において詳述する。
 また、微小角入射X線回折法における面内回折(インプレーン)測定では、パーフルオロポリエーテル基の面内方向における周期配列性由来のピーク(ピークA4(後述))が、波数1.5Å-1~2.0Å-1の間に観測される。
 2.第2実施形態
 図3を参照して、本発明の積層体の第2実施形態を説明する。
 なお、第2実施形態において、第1実施形態と同様の部材および工程については、同一の参照符号を付し、その詳細な説明を省略する。また、第2実施形態は、特記する以外、第1実施形態と同様の作用効果を奏することができる。さらに、第1実施形態および第2実施形態を適宜組み合わせることができる。
 2-1.積層体
 図3に示すように、積層体1は、基材2と、プライマー層4と、反射防止層5と、防汚層3とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える。積層体1は、より具体的には、基材2と、基材2の上面(厚み方向一方面)に直接配置されるプライマー層4と、プライマー層4の上面(厚み方向一方面)に直接配置される反射防止層5と、反射防止層5の上面(厚み方向一方面)に直接配置される防汚層3とを備える。
 積層体1の厚みは、例えば、250μm以下、好ましくは、200μm以下であり、また、例えば、10μm以上、好ましくは、20μm以上である。
 2-2.基材
 基材2は、積層体1の機械強度を確保するための基材である。
 基材2は、プライマー層4の下面に接触するように、プライマー層4の下面全面に、配置されている。
 基材2としては、第1実施形態における基材2と同様の基材が挙げられ、好ましくは、セルロース樹脂、ポリエステル樹脂、より好ましくは、トリアセチルセルロース、ポリエチレンテレフタレートが挙げられる。
 基材2の厚みは、第1実施形態における基材2の厚みと同様である。
 2-3.プライマー層
 プライマー層4は、基材2と密着層11との密着を図るための層である。
 プライマー層4は、反射防止層5の下面に接触するように、反射防止層5の下面全面に、配置されている。
 プライマー層4の材料としては、好ましくは、酸化シリコン(SiO)(xは、1.2以上1.9以下)、インジウムスズ酸化物(ITO)が挙げられる。
 プライマー層4は、後述する方法により形成される。
 2-4.反射防止層
 反射防止層5は、外光の反射を抑制するための層である。
 反射防止層5は、フィルム形状を有する。反射防止層5は、防汚層3の下面に接触するように、防汚層3の下面全面に、配置されている。
 反射防止層5は、互いに異なる屈折率を有する2以上の層からなる。
 反射防止層5が、互いに異なる屈折率を有する2以上の層からなれば、外光の反射を抑制することができる。
 好ましくは、反射防止層5は、相対的に屈折率の高い高屈折率層と、相対的に屈折率の低い低屈折率層とを厚み方向一方側に向かって交互に備える。
 反射防止層5(具体的には、高屈折率層および低屈折率層)は、後述する金属、後述する合金、後述する金属酸化物、後述する金属窒化物、後述する金属フッ化物からなる群から選択される1種を含み、好ましくは、後述する金属、後述する金属酸化物、後述する金属窒化物からなる群から選択される1種を含む。
 以下の説明では、反射防止層5が、第1高屈折率層6と、第1低屈折率層7と、第2高屈折率層8と、第2低屈折率層9とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える場合について説明する。
 低屈折率層(第1低屈折率層7および第2低屈折率層9)の材料としては、例えば、波長550nmにおける屈折率が1.6以下の低屈折率材料が挙げられる。
 低屈折率材料としては、例えば、二酸化ケイ素(SiO)、フッ化マグネシウムなどが挙げられ、好ましくは、二酸化ケイ素が挙げられる。つまり、好ましくは、第1低屈折率層7および第2低屈折率層9の材料が、ともに二酸化ケイ素である。
 とりわけ、第2低屈折率層9の材料は、防汚層3との密着の観点から、二酸化ケイ素が選択される。換言すれば、反射防止層5の厚み方向一方面(防汚層3の下面と接する面)は、二酸化ケイ素を含む層が選択される。詳しくは後述するが、第2低屈折率層9の材料が二酸化ケイ素であれば(好ましくは、第2低屈折率層9が二酸化ケイ素からなると)、防汚耐久性をより一層向上させることができる。
 高屈折率層(第1高屈折率層6および第2高屈折率層8)の材料としては、例えば、波長550nmにおける屈折率が1.9以上の高屈折材料が挙げられ、具体的には、酸化チタン、酸化ニオブ(Nb)、酸化ジルコニウム、スズドープ酸化インジウム(ITO)、アンチモンドープ酸化スズ(ATO)などが挙げられ、好ましくは、酸化ニオブが挙げられる。つまり、好ましくは、第1高屈折率層6の材料および第2高屈折率層8の材料が、ともに酸化ニオブである。
 第1高屈折率層6の厚みは、例えば、1nm以上、好ましくは、5nm以上であり、また、例えば、30nm以下、好ましくは、20nm以下である。
 第1低屈折率層7の厚みは、例えば、10nm以上、好ましくは、20nm以上であり、また、例えば、50nm以下、好ましくは、30nm以下である。
 第1高屈折率層6の厚みに対する第1低屈折率層7の厚みの比(第1低屈折率層7の厚み/第1高屈折率層6の厚み)は、例えば、0.8以上、好ましくは、1.0以上であり、また、例えば、10以下、好ましくは、5以下である。
 第2高屈折率層8の厚みは、例えば、50nm以上、好ましくは、80nm以上であり、また、例えば、200nm以下、好ましくは、150nm以下である。
 第2低屈折率層9の厚みは、例えば、60nm以上、好ましくは、80nm以上であり、また、例えば、150nm以下、好ましくは、100nm以下である。
 第2高屈折率層8の厚みに対する第2低屈折率層9の厚みの比(第2低屈折率層9の厚み/第2高屈折率層8の厚み)は、例えば、0.5以上、好ましくは、0.7以上であり、また、例えば、2.0以下である。
 第1高屈折率層6の厚みに対する第2高屈折率層8の厚みの比(第2高屈折率層9の厚み/第1高屈折率層7の厚み)は、例えば、2以上、好ましくは、7以上であり、また、例えば、15以下、好ましくは、10以下である。
 第1低屈折率層7の厚みに対する第2低屈折率層9の厚みの比(第2低屈折率層9の厚み/第1低屈折率層7の厚み)は、例えば、1以上、好ましくは、3以上であり、また、例えば、10以下、好ましくは、8以下である。
 反射防止層5は、後述する方法により形成される。
 反射防止層5の厚みは、例えば、100nm以上、好ましくは、150nm以上であり、また、例えば、300nm以下、好ましくは、250nm以下である。
 反射防止層5の厚みは、断面TEM観察により測定する事ができる。
 2-5.防汚層
 防汚層3は、薄膜形状を有する。防汚層3は、反射防止層5の上面全面に、反射防止層5の上面に接触するように、配置されている。
 防汚層3は、上記したパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物(好ましくは、上記一般式(2)で示されるパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物)から形成されている。換言すれば、防汚層3は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物を含み、好ましくは、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物からなる。
 防汚層3は、後述する方法により形成される。
 防汚層3の厚みは、第1実施形態における防汚層3の厚みと同様である。
 2-6.積層体の製造方法
 図4A~図4Cを参照して、積層体1の製造方法を説明する。
 積層体1の製造方法の製造方法は、基材2を準備する第3工程と、基材2に、プライマー層4および反射防止層5を配置する第4工程と、反射防止層5に、防汚層3を配置する第5工程とを備える。また、この製造方法では、各層を、例えば、ロールトゥロール方式で、順に配置する。
 第3工程では、図4Aに示すように、基材2を準備する。
 第4工程では、図4Bに示すように、基材2に、反射防止層5を配置する。具体的には、基材2の厚み方向一方面に、プライマー層4および反射防止層5を配置する。
 より具体的には、基材2に、プライマー層4と、第1高屈折率層6と、第1低屈折率層7と、第2高屈折率層8と、第2低屈折率層9とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に配置する。
 つまり、この方法では、第4工程は、基材2にプライマー層4を配置するプライマー層配置工程と、プライマー層4に第1高屈折率層6を配置する第1高屈折率層配置工程と、第1高屈折率層6に第1低屈折率層7を配置する第1低屈折率層配置工程と、第1低屈折率層7に第2高屈折率層8を配置する第2高屈折率層配置工程と、第2高屈折率層8に第2低屈折率層9を配置する第2低屈折率層配置工程とを備える。また、この製造方法では、各層を、例えば、真空蒸着法、スパッタリング法、ラミネート法、めっき法、イオンプレーティング法、好ましくは、スパッタリング法で、順に配置する。
 以下、スパッタリング法で各層を順に配置する方法について詳述する。
 この方法では、まず、基材2の表面に、基材2およびプライマー層4の密着性の向上の観点から、例えば、コロナ処理、プラズマ処理、フレーム処理、オゾン処理、プライマー処理、グロー処理、ケン化処理などの表面処理を施す。好ましくは、基材2の表面に、プラズマ処理を施す。
 そして、スパッタリング法では、真空チャンバー内にターゲット(各層(プライマー層4と、第1高屈折率層6と、第1低屈折率層7と、第2高屈折率層8と、第2低屈折率層9との材料)および基材2を対向配置し、ガスを供給するとともに電源から電圧を印加することによりガスイオンを加速しターゲットに照射させて、ターゲット表面からターゲット材料をはじき出して、そのターゲット材料を基材2の表面に各層を順に堆積させる。
 ガスとしては、例えば、Arなどの不活性ガスが挙げられる。また、必要に応じて、酸素ガスなどの反応性ガスを併用することができる。反応性ガスを併用する場合において、反応性ガスの流量比(sccm)は特に限定しないが、スパッタガスおよび反応性ガスの合計流量比に対して、例えば、0.1流量%以上100流量%以下である。
 スパッタリング時の気圧は、例えば、0.1Pa以上であり、また、例えば、1.0Pa以下、好ましくは、0.7Pa以下である。
 電源は、例えば、DC電源、AC電源、MF電源およびRF電源のいずれであってもよく、また、これらの組み合わせであってもよい。
 これにより、基材2の厚み方向一方面に、プライマー層4および反射防止層5を配置する。
 第5工程では、図4Cに示すように、反射防止層5に、防汚層3を配置する。具体的には、反射防止層5の厚み方向一方面に、防汚層3を配置する。
 反射防止層5に防汚層3を配置する方法としては、例えば、真空蒸着法、ウェットコーティング法などが挙げられ、好ましくは、後述する積分強度比を所定の範囲に調整する観点から、真空蒸着法が挙げられる。
 真空蒸着法は、真空チャンバー内に蒸着源(パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物)および反射防止層5を対向配置し、蒸着源を加熱し、蒸発または昇華させて、蒸発または昇華した蒸着源を反射防止層5の表面に堆積させる。
 真空蒸着法において、蒸着源(るつぼ)の温度は、例えば、200℃以上、好ましくは、220℃以上、より好ましくは、240℃以上、また、例えば、330℃以下、好ましくは、300℃以下、より好ましくは、280℃以下である。
 これにより、反射防止層5の厚み方向一方面に防汚層3を配置し、基材2と、反射防止層5と、防汚層3とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える積層体1が製造される。
 2-7.作用効果
 積層体1は、基材2および防汚層3の間に、反射防止層5を備える。そのため、外光の反射を抑制することができる。
 また、反射防止層5の厚み方向一方面が、二酸化ケイ素を含む層である場合には、換言すれば、防汚層3の下面に、二酸化ケイ素を含む層(例えば、二酸化ケイ素からなる第2低屈折率層9)が直接配置されている場合には、防汚層3のパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物における加水分解基(上記式(1)における-(OR))の加水分解の過程で生ずるシラノール基と、二酸化ケイ素におけるケイ素とが、脱水縮合反応する。換言すれば、防汚層3は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物が、シロキサン結合を介して、反射防止層5に形成される。これにより、防汚耐久性をより一層向上させることができる。
 4.変形例
 変形例において、第1実施形態および第2実施形態と同様の部材および工程については、同一の参照符号を付し、その詳細な説明を省略する。また、変形例は、特記する以外、第1実施形態および第2実施形態と同様の作用効果を奏することができる。さらに、第1実施形態、第2実施形態およびその変形例を適宜組み合わせることができる。
 第1実施形態では、積層体1は、基材2と防汚層3とを備えたが、図5に示すように、基材2および防汚層3の間に、さらに、プライマー層4および密着層11を備えることもできる。
 詳しくは、基材2および防汚層3の間に、密着層11を備え、基材2および密着層11の間にプライマー層4を備えることもできる。
 つまり、このような場合には、積層体1は、基材2とプライマー層4と密着層11と防汚層3とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える。
 密着層11は、防汚層3と密着する層である。
 密着層11の材料としては、好ましくは、二酸化ケイ素(SiO)が挙げられる。換言すれば、好ましくは、密着層11の材料は、少なくとも、二酸化ケイ素(SiO)を含む。より好ましくは、密着層11は、二酸化ケイ素(SiO)からなる。
 密着層11の材料が、二酸化ケイ素(SiO)であれば、防汚層3のパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物における加水分解基(上記式(1)における-(OR))の加水分解の過程で生ずるシラノール基と、二酸化ケイ素におけるケイ素とが、脱水縮合反応する。換言すれば、防汚層3は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物が、シロキサン結合を介して、密着層11に形成される。これにより、防汚耐久性をより一層向上させることができる。
 密着層11は、例えば、スパッタリング法、プラズマCVD法、真空蒸着法などによって形成される。
 第2実施形態では、反射防止層5は、相対的に屈折率の高い高屈折率層を2層備えるとともに、相対的に屈折率の低い低屈折率層を2層備えたが、高屈折率層および低屈折率層の数は、特に限定されない。
 以下に実施例および比較例を示し、本発明をさらに具体的に説明する。なお、本発明は、何ら実施例および比較例に限定されない。また、以下の記載において用いられる配合割合(含有割合)、物性値、パラメータなどの具体的数値は、上記の「発明を実施するための形態」において記載されている、それらに対応する配合割合(含有割合)、物性値、パラメータなど該当記載の上限値(「以下」、「未満」として定義されている数値)または下限値(「以上」、「超過」として定義されている数値)に代替することができる。
1.積層体の製造
  実施例1
 基材として、トリアセチルセルロース(TAC)フィルム(厚さ80μm)を準備した。基材(TACフィルム)の厚み方向一方面に、ハードコート層を配置した。具体的には、紫外線硬化性アクリル系樹脂組成物(DIC製、商品名「GRANDIC PC-1070」、波長405nmにおける屈折率:1.55)に、樹脂成分100質量部に対するシリカ粒子の量が25質量部となるように、オルガノシリカゾル(日産化学社製「MEK-ST-L」、シリカ粒子(無機フィラー)の平均一次粒子径:50nm、シリカ粒子の粒子径分布:30nm~130nm、固形分30質量%)を添加して混合し、ハードコート組成物を調製した。トリアセチルセルロース(TAC)の厚み方向一方面に、ハードコート組成物を、乾燥後の厚みが6μmとなるように塗布し、80℃で3分間乾燥した。その後、高圧水銀ランプを用いて、積算光量200mJ/cmの紫外線を照射し、塗布層を硬化させハードコート層を形成した。
 そして、ハードコート層が形成されたトリアセチルセルロースフィルムを、ロールトゥートール方式のスパッタ成膜装置に導入し、フィルムを走行させながら、ハードコート層形成面にボンバード処理(Arガスによるプラズマ処理、100W)した後、スパッタリング法により、基材(ハードコート層)の厚み方向一方面に、厚み3.5nmのITO層(プライマー層)、厚み12nmのNb層(第1高屈折率層)、厚み28nmのSiO層(第1低屈折率層)、厚み100nmのNb層(第2高屈折率層)および厚み85nmのSiO(第2低屈折率層)を順に配置した。これにより、基材の厚み方向一方面に、プライマー層、第1高屈折率層と、第1低屈折率層と、第2高屈折率層と、第2低屈折率層とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備える反射防止層を配置した。
 次いで、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面を、酸素ガスによるプラズマ処理(100W)した後、オプツールUD509(上記一般式(2)で示されるパーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物、ダイキン工業社製)を蒸着源とする真空蒸着法により、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面に、厚み7nmの防汚層を配置した。
 なお、真空蒸着法において、蒸着源(るつぼ)の温度は、260℃であった。
 これにより、積層体を製造した。
  比較例1
 反射防止層の厚み方向一方面に、オプツールUD509を、グラビアコーターで塗工厚み8μmになるように塗工した後、乾燥温度60℃で60秒加熱処理することにより、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面に厚み7nmの防汚層を配置した以外は、実施例1と同様の手順で、積層体を製造した。
  実施例2
 実施例1と同様の手順で、積層体を製造した。
 但し、防汚層を形成する工程において、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面を、アルゴンガスによるプラズマ処理(100W)した後、オプツールUD120(ダイキン工業株式会社製)を蒸着源とする真空蒸着法により、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面に、厚み7nmの防汚層を配置した。
  比較例2
 実施例1と同様の手順で、積層体を製造した。
 但し、真空蒸着法において、蒸着源(るつぼ)の温度を190℃に変更した。
  比較例3
 実施例1と同様の手順で、積層体を製造した。
 但し、防汚層を形成する工程において、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面を、アルゴンガスによるプラズマ処理(4500W)した後、オプツールUD120(ダイキン工業株式会社製)を蒸着源とする真空蒸着法により、反射防止層の厚み方向一方面に、厚み7nmの防汚層を配置した。
2.評価
(微小角入射X線回折測定)
 各実施例および各比較例の積層体の防汚層について、以下の条件に基づき、微小角入射X線回折法により、面内回折(インプレーン)測定、および、面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定を実施した。
 実施例1の面内回折(インプレーン)測定の結果を、図6に示し、実施例1の面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定の結果を、図7に示し、比較例1の面内回折(インプレーン)測定の結果を、図8に示し、比較例1の面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定の結果を、図9に示す。
 <測定条件>
実験施設:あいちシンクロトロン光センター
実験ステーション:BL8S1
入射エネルギー:14.4keV
ビームサイズ:500μm(横幅)×40μm(縦)
試料角:入射光に対して0.1度
検出器:2次元検出器 PILATAS
試料設置方法:薄く塗布したグリスにて平面試料台上に固定
 以下、得られた面内回折(インプレーン)測定および面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定の結果から、アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度およびインプレーン回折積分強度を算出した。算出方法は、アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度およびインプレーン回折積分強度を画一的に算出する観点から、フィッティング法を用いた。その方法について、詳述する。
 まず、面内回折(インプレーン)測定において得られた結果(以下、実測データ(面内回折(インプレーン)測定)とする。)に対し、下記式(3)に基づき、フィッティングを実施した。詳しくは、実測データ(面内回折(インプレーン)測定)が、バックグラウンドと、ピークA1~A4(図10および図12参照)との総和であると仮定して、フィッティングを実施した。なお、全試料間で高波長24nm-1のバックグラウンドが一致するよう規格化した。

(式(3)において、qは、散乱ベクトル(波数)(=4πsinΘ/λ)/nm-1(Θは、ブラッグ角を示し、λは、X線の波長を示す。)を示し、Anは、ピーク強度(nは、1~4の整数であり、Aは、ピークA1のピーク強度を示し、Aは、ピークA2のピーク強度を示し、Aは、ピークA3のピーク強度を示し、Aは、ピークA4のピーク強度を示す。)を示し、qAnは、重心位置(qA1は、ピークA1の重心位置を示し、qA2は、ピークA2の重心位置を示し、qA3は、ピークA3の重心位置を示し、qA4は、ピークA4の重心位置を示す。)を示し、ΔqAnは、半値全幅(ΔqA1は、ピークA1の半値全幅を示し、ΔqA2は、ピークA2の半値全幅を示し、ΔqA3は、ピークA3の半値全幅を示し、ΔqA4は、ピークA4の半値全幅を示す。)を示す。
 フィッティングの結果を、図10(実施例1)および図12(比較例1)に示す。
 また、フィッティングの結果を、実測データ(面内回折(インプレーン)測定)とともに、図6および図8に併記する。
 図6および図8によれば、実測データ(面内回折(インプレーン)測定)とフィッティング結果とがよく一致していることがわかる。
 このことから、仮定通り、実測データ(面内回折(インプレーン)測定)を、バックグラウンドと、ピークA1~A4との総和として示すことができるとわかる。
 そして、ラメラが基材2に対して平行に配向した構造に起因する回折ピークA1(2nm-1~10nm-1にピーク)の積分強度(インプレーン回折積分強度)を、下記式(4)に基づき算出した。その結果を表1に示す。
 インプレーン回折積分強度=ピーク強度(A)×半値全幅(ΔqA1)  (4)
 次いで、面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定において得られた結果(以下、実測データ(面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定)とする。)に対し、下記式(5)に基づき、フィッティングを実施した。詳しくは、実測データ(面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定)が、バックグラウンドと、ピークB1~B3(図11および図13参照)との総和であると仮定して、フィッティングを実施した。なお、全試料間で高波長24nm-1のバックグラウンドが一致するよう規格化した。

 フィッティング結果の内訳として得られたバックグラウンド曲線とガウス曲線を図11(実施例)および図13に示す。
 また、フィッティングの結果を、実測データ(面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定)とともに、図7および図9に併記する。
 図7および図9によれば、実測データ(面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定)とフィッティング結果とがよく一致していることがわかる。
 このことから、仮定通り、実測データ(面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定)を、バックグラウンドと、ピークB1~B3との総和として示すことができるとわかる。
 そして、ラメラが基材2に対して垂直に配向した構造に起因する回折ピークB1(2nm-1~10nm-1にピーク)の積分強度(アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を、下記式(6)に基づき算出した。その結果を表1に示す。
アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度=ピーク強度(B)×半値全幅(ΔqB1)(6)
 以上より、得られたインプレーン回折積分強度およびアウトオブプレーン回折積分強度に基づき、インプレーン回折積分強度に対するアウトオブプレーン回折積分強度の積分強度比(インプレーン回折積分強度/アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を算出した。その結果を表1に示す。
(防汚耐久性)
 各実施例および各比較例の積層体の防汚層について、協和界面科学社製DMo-501を用いて、以下の条件に基づき、防汚層の純水に対する接触角(初期接触角と称する場合がある。)を測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
 <測定条件>
液滴量:2μl
温度:25℃
湿度:40%
 次いで、各実施例および各比較例の積層体の防汚層について、以下の条件に基づき、消しゴム摺動試験を実施した後、上記した方法と同様の手順で、水接触角(消しゴム摺動試験後の接触角と称する場合がある。)を測定した。その結果を表1に示す。
 そして、下記式(7)に基づき、接触角の変化量を算出した。その結果を表1に示す。接触角の変化量が小さいほど、防汚耐久性に優れると評価した。

3.考察
 積分強度比が、0.0035以下である実施例1~実施例2の水接触角の変化量は、積分強度比が0.0035を超過する比較例1~比較例3の水接触角の変化量に比べて小さい。このことから、積分強度比が0.0035以下であれば、防汚層に付着した汚れを拭き取った後でも、防汚層の防汚性の低下を抑制できるとわかる。

 なお、上記発明は、本発明の例示の実施形態として提供したが、これは単なる例示にすぎず、限定的に解釈してはならない。当該技術分野の当業者によって明らかな本発明の変形例は、後記請求の範囲に含まれるものである。
 本発明の積層体は、例えば、例えば、防汚層付き反射防止フィルム、防汚層付き透明導電性フィルム、および、防汚層付き電磁波遮蔽フィルムにおいて、好適に用いられる。

Claims (10)

  1.  基材と、防汚層とを厚み方向一方側に向かって順に備え、
     前記防汚層が、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物を含み、
     微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定において、ラメラ構造に帰属される波数2nm-1~10nm-1にピークを有し、
     下記試験により測定される前記防汚層の積分強度比が、0.0035以下であることを特徴とする、積層体。
    試験:防汚層について、微小角入射X線回折法における面内回折(インプレーン)測定により、ラメラ構造に帰属されるピークの積分強度(インプレーン回折積分強度)を測定する。別途、防汚層について、微小角入射X線回折法における面外回折(アウトオブプレーン)測定により、ラメラ構造に帰属されるピークの積分強度(アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を測定する。得られたインプレーン回折積分強度およびアウトオブプレーン回折積分強度に基づき、アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度に対するインプレーン回折積分強度の積分強度比(インプレーン回折積分強度/アウトオブプレーン回折積分強度)を算出する。
  2.  前記基材および前記防汚層の間に、さらに、密着層を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1に記載の積層体。
  3.  前記密着層は、二酸化ケイ素を含む層であることを特徴とする、請求項2に記載の積層体。
  4.  前記防汚層は、パーフルオロポリエーテル基を有するアルコキシシラン化合物が、シロキサン結合を介して、前記密着層に形成されていることを特徴とする、請求項3に記載の積層体。
  5.  前記基材と前記密着層との間に、さらに、プライマー層を備えることを特徴とする、請求項3または4に記載の積層体。
  6.  前記基材および前記防汚層の間に、さらに、反射防止層を備えることを特徴とする、請求項1または2に記載の積層体。
  7.  前記反射防止層は、互いに異なる屈折率を有する2以上の層からなることを特徴とする、請求項6に記載の積層体。
  8.  前記反射防止層は、金属、金属酸化物、金属窒化物からなる群から選択される1種を含むことを特徴とする、請求項7に記載の積層体。
  9.  前記反射防止層の厚み方向一方面は、二酸化ケイ素を含む層であることを特徴とする、請求項7または請求項8に記載の積層体。
  10.  前記基材および前記反射防止層の間に、さらに、プライマー層を備えることを特徴とする、請求項6~9のいずれか一つに記載の積層体。
