On the other hand, if there is no remaining number of work W, the control device 80 drives the work supply device 20 to supply the work W to the supply area. Since the image recognition and the solving operation require a certain amount of time, the work time can be shortened and the work efficiency can be improved by reducing the number of times the image recognition is executed and the number of times the solving operation is executed.
  • the CPU 91 of the image processing device 90 first drives and controls the camera 35 to image the work W on the supply area (S300). Subsequently, the CPU 91 detects the work W region (work region) and the other background region (background region) in the obtained captured image (S310). This processing is performed by comparing the color of the image with the colors of the work W and the background acquired in advance for each pixel in the captured image. Then, the CPU 91 extracts the contour of the detected work area, and obtains the area and the rough position of the extracted contour (S320). The area can be determined, for example, by counting the number of pixels in the contour of the work area. The rough position can be obtained, for example, by setting an extrinsic rectangle for the contour of the work area and using it as the center coordinates of the set extrinsic rectangle (coarse positioning).
  • the CPU 91 counts the number of work W (internal work number) inherent in one work area (contour) based on the area obtained in S320 (S330). For example, when the area of the work area (contour) is equal to or larger than the first determination value and less than the second determination value larger than the first determination value, the number of internal works is counted as one and the second determination value. When it is the above and less than the third judgment value larger than the second judgment value, it is counted as two, and when it is more than the third judgment value and less than the fourth judgment value larger than the third judgment value. Is counted as three, and if it is the fourth determination value or more, it is counted as four or more.
  • the fact that the number of internal works is one means that there is only one work W in one recognized work area (contour), and when the number of internal works is plural, it means that there is only one work W. It means that a plurality of work Ws are adjacent to each other or overlap each other in one recognized work area (contour). That is, the CPU 91 can recognize that the work W is adjacent to another work W from the number of internal works. Since each process such as rough positioning and counting of the number of internal workpieces is described in PCT / JP2019 / 036529 filed by the present inventors, detailed description thereof will be omitted.
  • the CPU 91 obtains the distance (distance from the rough position to the work robot 30) of each work area from the work robot 30 (S340). Then, the CPU 91 sets a priority order for each work area according to the number of internal works and the distance between the work robots 30 and sets a tentative order of gripping order (S350).
  • FIG. 8 is an explanatory diagram showing the priority order for each work area.
  • FIG. 9 is an explanatory diagram showing the relationship between each work area and the number of internal works.
  • the numbers assigned to each work area indicate the priority. As shown in the figure, the priority is set so that the smaller the number of internal works, the higher the priority, and if the number of internal works is the same, the closer the distance to the work robot 30, the higher the priority. Instead of the distance to the work robot 30, the distance to the tray T to which the work W is moved may be used.
  • the reason why the priority is raised as the number of internal works is small is that it is considered that the smaller the number of internal works is, the easier it is to grasp the work W existing in the corresponding work area.
  • the work robot 30 performs an operation of pulling the gripped target work toward the work robot 30 and lifting it, that is, an operation of moving the target work diagonally upward. Therefore, if there is a non-target work that is not subject to gripping and is adjacent to the work robot 30 with respect to the target work, the target work may come into contact with the non-target work and the position of the non-target work may shift. In this case, since the work robot 30 (image processing device 90) needs to redo the image recognition in order to grip the non-target work, the work efficiency is lowered. It is for this reason that the closer the distance to the working robot 30, the higher the priority.

  • the CPU 91 performs the gripping order determination process as follows. First, the CPU 91 selects one work area to be processed according to the tentative order (S360). Next, the CPU 91 performs precise positioning with respect to the work W in the work area by performing pattern matching using the contour shape model of the work W prepared in advance (S370). When a plurality of work Ws are inherent in one work area, the CPU 91 performs precise positioning on each of the plurality of work Ws. Next, the CPU 91 performs an interference check to see if the mechanical chuck interferes with the peripheral work when gripping the work W using the mechanical chuck (S380).

  • the work robot 30 and the tray T are not shown in FIGS. 10 to 12, the distance from the work robot 30 is assumed to be close to the lower side in the figure and far from the upper side in the figure as in FIG.

  • the CPU 91 determines whether or not it is determined that there is no interference (S390), and if it is determined that there is no interference, the CPU 91 deletes the work area as a grippable work (S400). Therefore, in the subsequent interference check of the work W, the interference check is performed assuming a state excluding the grippable work that has already been determined to have no interference. Further, when the CPU 91 determines in S390 that there is interference, the work W is temporarily held as a non-grasable work (S410). The work W, which is a non-grasable work, is not gripped in the order determined in the tentative order.

Therefore, in the example of FIG. 10, the work area is deleted as the work Wa, Wb, Wc, and We can be gripped, and the work Wd is reserved as non-grasable (see FIGS. 11 and 13). In FIG.

Subsequently, the CPU 91 determines whether or not there is another work W to be processed, that is, a work that cannot be grasped without being adjacent (S470), and if it is determined that there is a work W to be processed, the CPU 91 returns to S440 and performs processing.

In the example of FIG. 12, since the redetermination work W is only one work Wd, the work Wd is added to the end of the tentative order. Description

図10では、ワークWa,Wb,Wcの干渉チェック領域AI(a),(b),(c)は他のワークWと干渉していないが、ワークWdの干渉チェック領域AI(d)はワークWeと干渉し、ワークWeの干渉チェック領域AI(e)はワークWcと干渉している。
したがって、当初はワークWa,Wb,Wc,Wd,Weの仮順序だったものが、ワークWa,Wb,Wc,We,Wdの順となる。
