Definitions
- the present invention relates to a management device.
- beverage server system that dispenses beverages in beverage barrels using the pressure of carbon dioxide.
- the beverage in the beverage barrel is pushed out through the dispense head and supplied to the beverage server by supplying carbon dioxide gas from the gas cylinder to the dispense head attached to the mouth of the beverage barrel.
- the beverage server cools the supplied beverage and dispenses it into the beverage serving container through the dispensing cock.
- Patent Document 1 describes a carbon dioxide gas pressure regulator that controls the supply pressure of carbon dioxide gas according to the temperature.
- the carbon dioxide pressure regulator is configured to control the carbon dioxide supply pressure by a control map that defines the relationship between the temperature and the carbon dioxide supply pressure, and as control maps, a control map for normal mode and a control for closed mode.
- the control map for the normal mode has a constant supply pressure P2 at a predetermined temperature T1 or less, a constant supply pressure P4 at a predetermined temperature T2 or higher, and a supply pressure from P2 as the temperature increases in the temperature range of T1 to T2.
- the relationship between temperature and supply pressure is specified so that it increases monotonically to P4.
- the control map for the closing mode defines the relationship between the temperature and the supply pressure so that the supply pressure P1 is constant regardless of the temperature change and the supply pressure P1 is 0.01 MPa to 0.10 MPa lower than the supply pressure P2.
- the function of detecting the remaining amount of carbon dioxide in the gas cylinder and urging the replacement of the gas cylinder based on the result has not been provided.
- the carbon dioxide in the gas cylinder decreases, the carbon dioxide is not supplied to the drinking barrel at the set pressure. Therefore, when the remaining amount of carbon dioxide in the gas cylinder decreases, the beverage is not supplied to the beverage server at an appropriate pressure, and finally the beverage cannot be dispensed. Therefore, for example, the quality of the beverage poured into the beverage serving container (for example, the amount of carbon dioxide gas, foam) may be deteriorated.
- suddenly falling into a state where beverages cannot be dispensed during a time when orders are concentrated may lead to a decrease in customer satisfaction and a loss of sales opportunities.
- An object of the present invention is to provide an advantageous technique for promoting replacement of a gas cylinder.
- One aspect of the present invention relates to a management device, which comprises a pressure sensor that detects the pressure of a gas cylinder that supplies carbon dioxide gas to the beverage barrel so that the beverage is supplied from the beverage barrel to the beverage server.
- a control unit for notifying the replacement of the gas cylinder based on the output of the pressure sensor is provided.

- FIG. 1 illustrates the configuration of the beverage dispensing system SS in which the management device MA of one embodiment is incorporated.
- the beverage dispensing system SS is supplied from the beverage barrel 120 through the dispense head 30 mounted on the mouth of the beverage barrel 120 filled with beverages (for example, beer-based beverages such as beer and sparkling liquor) and the beverage head 30. It may include a beverage server 150 that cools the beverage and dispenses it into the beverage serving container through the dispensing cock 152.
- the gas cylinder 110 supplies carbon dioxide gas to the beverage barrel 120 through the dispense head 30 so that the beverage is supplied from the beverage barrel 120 to the beverage server 150.
- the gas cylinder 110 is equipped with a regulator 10 that lowers the pressure of carbon dioxide gas supplied from the gas cylinder 110 to a set pressure and sends it to the secondary side.
- Carbon dioxide gas is supplied to the dispense head 30 from a gas cylinder 110 containing carbon dioxide gas via a regulator 10 and a gas supply path 130, and the carbon dioxide gas is supplied to the internal space of the beverage barrel 120 and pressurizes the liquid surface of the beverage. Pushes the beverage out of the dispense head 30 by applying. Beverages are supplied to the beverage server 150 through the channel 140.
- the management device MA may include a pressure sensor 12 that detects the pressure of the gas cylinder 110, and a control unit 20 that notifies the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 based on the output of the pressure sensor 12.
- the management device MA may further include a regulator 10, and the control unit 20 may be configured to prompt replacement of the gas cylinder 110 based on the output of the pressure sensor 12 as well as the set pressure of the regulator 10.
- the control unit 20 may include a CPU and a memory that provides a program to the CPU.
- the pressure sensor 12 may be incorporated into the regulator 10.

- the control unit 20 may be configured to notify when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is equal to or less than a predetermined number.
- the control unit 20 may notify when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is not more than a predetermined number, in distinction from the case where the number is larger than the predetermined number. For example, when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is larger than the predetermined number, notification is performed at the first level, and when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is less than or equal to the predetermined number.
- the second bell notification may be, for example, a louder sound notification than the first level notification.
- the notification includes light or display notification
- the first level notification may be, for example, a non-blinking notification
- the second level notification may be, for example, a blinking notification.
- the management device MA may further include a beverage sensor 50 and a circuit breaker 60.
- the beverage sensor 50 is arranged in the beverage flow path 140 between the beverage barrel 120 and the beverage server 150 to detect the beverage.
- the beverage sensor 50 may include, for example, a light emitter whose optical axis is arranged so as to intersect the flow path 140, and a light receiver that receives light from the light emitter via the flow path 140.
- the light emitter and the light receiver may be located outside a tube constituting the flow path 140, which tube may have a window through which light from the light emitter is transmitted.
- the tube may be entirely composed of a light transmitting tube.
- the beverage sensor 50 may be composed of various other sensors.
- the circuit breaker 60 may be configured to block the flow path 140.
- the circuit breaker 60 may be configured to block the flow path 140, for example, by compressing the tube constituting the flow path 140 and reducing the cross-sectional area of the flow path 140.
- the circuit breaker 60 can be, for example, the fluid stopper device shown in FIGS. 6C and 6D of JP-A-2019-104504.
- the control unit 20 replaces the gas cylinder 110 when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is one or less and the replacement of the beverage barrels 120 is detected based on the output of the beverage sensor 50. It may be configured to determine if it has. Further, the control unit 20 may control the circuit breaker 60 so as to cut off the flow path 140 when the gas cylinder 110 is not replaced. This is effective in suppressing the pouring of low quality beverages by forcing the replacement of the gas cylinder 110.
- the control unit 20 may include a notification unit 22 attached to the beverage server 150.
- the control unit 20 may control the notification unit 22 to give a notification prompting the replacement of the gas cylinder.
- the control unit 20 may control the notification unit 22 so as to emphasize the notification prompting the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 when the beverage is poured out.
- the management device MA may further include a pouring detection unit (not shown) for detecting the pouring of the beverage by the beverage server 150.
- the pouring detection unit can include, for example, a sensor that detects the operation of the pouring cock 152, and can detect the pouring of the beverage based on the output from the sensor.
- the dispensing detector can detect the sound or vibration produced by the beverage flowing through the beverage supply path located in the beverage server 150, thereby detecting the beverage.
- the control unit 20 can recognize the injection of the beverage based on the output of the injection detection unit. Further, the control unit 20 emphasizes the notification prompting the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 when the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 should be prompted based on the output of the pressure sensor 12 and when the beverage is being poured. 22 can be controlled. For example, the control unit 20 gives a notification at the first level when a) the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 should be prompted based on the output of the pressure sensor 12 and the beverage is not poured out, and b). When the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 should be prompted based on the output of the pressure sensor 12, and when the beverage is being poured, the notification is performed at the second level, which is more stimulating to the operator than the first level. Can be done.
- the second level notification may be, for example, a louder sound notification than the first level notification.
- the first level notification may be, for example, a non-blinking notification
- the second level notification may be, for example, a blinking notification.
- the control unit 20 may be configured to transmit the output of the pressure sensor 12 or the information obtained by processing the output to the information collecting device 70.
- the information collecting device 70 may be provided in, for example, a control unit that controls a plurality of stores.
- the information collecting device 70 is connected to the control unit 20 of the management device MA of each store via a communication line or the like, and is the output of the pressure sensor 12 provided by the control unit 20 or information obtained by processing the output.
- the state of the gas cylinder 110 can be managed based on the above. Such management may include, for example, providing the store with information prompting the replacement of the gas cylinder 110, arranging the delivery of the gas cylinder 110 to the store, or statistically processing the timing when the gas cylinder 110 is replaced. Can include.
- FIG. 2 illustrates the relationship between the pressure of the gas cylinder 110 and the amount of beverage that can be dispensed.
- the horizontal axis is the pressure of the gas cylinder 110, which is the pressure that can be detected by the pressure sensor 12.
- the vertical axis is the amount of beverage (extractable amount) that can be poured out by the carbon dioxide gas remaining in the gas cylinder 110.
- the solid line shows the relationship between the pressure of the gas cylinder 110 and the pouring amount of beverage when the set pressure of the regulator 10 (the pressure on the secondary side, that is, the pressure on the outlet side of the regulator 10) is 0.25 [Mpa].
- the dotted line shows the relationship between the pressure of the gas cylinder 110 and the pouring amount of the beverage when the set pressure of the regulator 10 (the pressure on the secondary side, that is, the pressure on the outlet side of the regulator 10) is 0.35 [Mpa]. There is.
- the control unit 20 may be configured to prompt the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 based on the set pressure of the regulator 10 in addition to the output of the pressure sensor 12. More specifically, the control unit 20 detects the arrival of a state in which the gas cylinder 110 should be replaced based on a function or a lookup table in which the output (pressure) of the pressure sensor 12 and the set pressure of the regulator 10 are variables. However, it may be configured to prompt the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 in response to this detection.
- Beverage barrel 120 can have various capacities. The number of beverage barrels 120 that can be poured out depending on the remaining amount of carbon dioxide in the gas cylinder 110 depends on the capacity of the beverage barrels 120. Therefore, the control unit 20 or the notification unit 22 may notify the number of beverage barrels 120 that can be poured out depending on the remaining amount of carbon dioxide gas in the gas cylinder 110 according to the capacity of the beverage barrel 120.
- the control unit 20 of the beverage barrel 120 capable of pouring the beverage by carbon dioxide gas from the gas cylinder 110 (remaining amount of carbon dioxide gas in the gas cylinder 110) based on the relationship illustrated in FIG. 2 and the capacity of the beverage barrel 120. The number can be calculated.
- the control unit 20 dispenses the beverage barrel having a capacity of 10 [L].
- the number of barrels that can be dispensed is 0.5, and the result can be notified.
- the pouring amount is 20. [L].
- the control unit 20 dispenses the beverage barrel having a capacity of 10 [L]. It can be calculated that the number of possible barrels is two and the number of barrels that can be poured out is one for a beverage barrel having a capacity of 19 [L], and the result can be notified.
- FIG. 3 illustrates the operation of the control unit 20.
- the control unit 20 acquires information indicating the set pressure of the regulator 10.
- the control unit 20 acquires the output (pressure) of the pressure sensor 12.
- the output of the pressure sensor 12 may be information indicating the pressure of the gas cylinder 110 in a predetermined unit (for example, MPa), or information having a correlation with the pressure of the gas cylinder 110 (for example, a value proportional to the pressure).
- step S303 the control unit 20 calculates the number of beverage barrels 120 that can be dispensed based on the relationship illustrated in FIG. 2, the set pressure of the regulator 10, and the output (pressure) of the pressure sensor 12.
- the control unit 20 can calculate the number of barrels that can be poured out for each capacity as in the above-mentioned example.
- the control unit 20 may calculate the number of barrels that can be poured out based on the set capacity.
- step S304 the control unit 20 determines whether or not the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is a predetermined number (for example, one, two, three, etc.) or less, and the number is the predetermined number. If the number is less than or equal to the number, the notification is performed in step S305. This notification can be made through the notification unit 22.
- the main body constituting the control unit 20 and the notification unit 22 may be configured to be housed in separate housings, or may be configured to be housed in the same housing. When the main body constituting the control unit 20 and the notification unit 22 are housed in separate housings, the main body and the notification unit 22 are connected by wire or wirelessly.
- step S304 when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is larger than the predetermined number, the process by the control unit 20 returns to step S301.
- step S306 the control unit 20 determines whether or not the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is one or less, and when the number is one or less (for example, the calculated value of the number is 1). In the case of .0 or less), the monitoring program is started in step S307. In step S306, when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring beverages is more than one (for example, when the calculated value of the number is greater than 1.0), the process by the control unit 20 returns to step S301.
- FIG. 4 illustrates the operation of the monitoring program started in step S307 of FIG.
- the control unit 20 determines whether the beverage barrel 120 has been replaced. This determination can be made, for example, based on the output of the beverage sensor 50. More specifically, the control unit 20 shifts the output of the beverage sensor 50 from the state in which the beverage is detected to the state in which the beverage is not detected, and then to the state in which the beverage is further detected. If so, it can be determined that the beverage barrel 120 has been replaced. Alternatively, when a user interface (not shown) is provided in the control unit 20 or the like and the user inputs to the user interface that the beverage barrel 120 has been replaced, the control unit 20 determines that the beverage barrel 120 has been replaced. be able to.
- step S402 is executed.
- the control unit 20 determines whether or not the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced. This determination can be made, for example, based on the output of the pressure sensor 12. More specifically, the control unit 20 can determine that the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced when the output of the pressure sensor 12 exceeds the reference value.
- step S402 If it is determined in step S402 that the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced, the monitoring program ends. On the other hand, in step S402, if it is not determined that the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced, that is, if it is not determined that the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced in accordance with the replacement of the beverage barrel 120, the control unit 20 shuts off the flow path 140 so as to shut off.
- the vessel 60 can be controlled. This forces the replacement of the gas cylinder 110 when the number of beverage barrels 120 capable of pouring the beverage is one or less and the replacement of the beverage barrel 120 is detected but the gas cylinder 110 is not replaced. It is a thing. This is effective in suppressing the pouring of low quality beverages.
- step S404 the control unit 20 determines whether or not the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced. As described above, this determination can be made based on, for example, the output of the pressure sensor 12. When it is determined in step S404 that the gas cylinder 110 has been replaced, the control unit 20 controls the circuit breaker 60 so as to stop shutting off the flow path 140 in step S405, and ends the monitoring program.
