From the above described device and method, the developed inventive circular loom can produce doup tubular fabric of consistent quality at about 15 to 40% higher production rate compared to conventional method. It was also found that with the usage of replaceable ceramic insert (3 A) and /or metallic low wear swivel bush (12) of the invention the service life of components and inventive circular loom have increased by 10 to 18 times over conventional parts and circular loom.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un métier à tisser circulaire destiné à fabriquer un tissu de gaze (F) fonctionnant pour permettre un tissage à grande vitesse. Les métiers à tisser classiques sont confrontés à des problèmes de frottement indésirable à ces vitesses. Le métier à tisser comprend un ensemble courroie de lisses partielles qui facilite le déplacement des fils de chaîne en interaction. Les fils de chaîne d'au moins l'une de la paire de lisses partielles (4, 5), qui comportent des œillets guide-fil (3) à travers lesquels passent les fils, sont guidés librement par des moyens de guidage de fil pour permettre la formation de la foule, et, sur l'autre lisse partielle, pour provoquer un changement de côté. Dans un aspect de l'invention, les œillets (3) sont pourvus d'un insert en céramique (3A). Le mouvement latéral nécessaire pour créer le tissu de gaze (F) est facilité par une came de commande d'oscillation (6B) utilisant une douille pivotante (12) pour faciliter le mouvement oscillant du bras pivotant (11). Selon un aspect de l'invention, la douille pivotante (12) est constituée d'un matériau métallique.
