Abstract

La présente invention concerne un mécanisme de verrouillage de direction conçu pour verrouiller la direction d'un véhicule comprenant un cadre et une roue orientable par rapport au cadre. Le mécanisme de verrouillage de direction comprend un composant de montage pour monter le mécanisme de verrouillage de direction sur le cadre du véhicule autour de la roue orientable. Il comprend un mécanisme rotatif monté sur le composant de montage. Il comprend en outre des bras comprenant chacun une face de limitation de course, les faces de limitation de course se faisant face. Les bras sont montés sur le mécanisme rotatif et peuvent se mettre en rotation entre une position libre et une position restreinte. Les bras dans la position restreinte s'étendent autour de la roue avec chaque face de limitation de course faisant face aux côtés d'au moins une partie de la roue et empêchant ainsi la direction de la roue. Les bras dans la position libre s'étendent à l'opposé de la roue et n'empêchent ainsi pas la direction de la roue.
