本发明的实施方式
以下各实施例的说明是参考附加的图式,用以例示本揭示可用以实施的特定实施例。
请参阅图1,图1显示根据本揭示一实施例之有机发光二极管显示装置。
所述有机发光二极管显示装置包括多条源极线S1-SN、多条栅极线G1-GM、至少一源极驱动单元10(图中显示一个源极驱动单元10)以及至少一栅极驱动单元12(图中显示一个栅极驱动单元12)。
所述多条源极线S1-SN并延伸至所述源极驱动单元10。所述多条栅极线G1-GM延伸至所述栅极驱动单元12。所述多条源极线S1-SN沿一第一方向形成。所述多条栅极线G1-GM沿一第二方向形成。所述第一方向垂直于所述第二方向。所述多条源极线S1-SN及所述多条栅极线G1-GM定义出多个像素14。
所述源极驱动单元10电性连接至所述多条源极线S1-SN并用于向所述多条源极线S1-SN提供数据信号,所述数据信号用于写入所述像素14。
所述栅极驱动单元12电性连接至所述多条栅极线G1-GM并用于向所述多条栅极线G1-GM提供扫描信号。
请参阅图1及图2,图2显示根据本揭示一实施例之像素驱动电路的电路图。
所述像素驱动电路用于驱动图1的一个像素14。也就是说,所述有机发光二极管显示装置包括多个像素驱动电路电性耦接至所述多个像素14且与所述多个像素14具有一对一的对应的关系。
所述像素驱动电路包括有机发光二极管D1、第一晶体管T1、第二晶体管T2、第三晶体管T3、第四晶体管T4以及存储电容CS。
所述栅极驱动单元12提供的扫描信号SS输入至所述第一晶体管T1的控制端。所述源极驱动单元10提供的数据信号DS输入至所述第一晶体管T1的输入端。
所述第二晶体管T2的控制端电性耦接至所述第一晶体管T1的输出端。
直流高电位OVDD输入至所述有机发光二极管D1的阳极30。所述有机发光二极管D1的阴极32电性耦接至所述第二晶体管T2的输入端。本揭示之有机发光二极管显示装置中,所述有机发光二极管D1为倒置式的有机发光二极管(inverted OLED)。也就是说,所述有机发光二极管D1的阳极30设置于阴极32的上方(如图3所示)。换言之,所述有机发光二极管D1电性耦接于所述直流高电位OVDD与所述第二晶体管T2的输入端之间。
脉冲信号SEN输入至所述第三晶体管T3的控制端。侦测信号ES输入至所述第三晶体管T3的输入端。所述第三晶体管T3的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管T2的输出端。所述第三晶体管T3用于侦测所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压(threshold voltage)及迁移率(mobility)的至少一者。所述脉冲信号SEN用于开始侦测或结束侦测所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压(threshold voltage)及迁移率(mobility)的至少一者。于一实施例中,所述脉冲信号SEN可以为所述栅极驱动单元12提供的扫描信号SS。所述侦测信号ES用于侦测所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
控制信号CTRL输入至所述第四晶体管T4的控制端。所述第四晶体管T4的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管T2的所述输出端。直流低电位OVSS输入至所述第四晶体管T4的输出端。所述控制信号CTRL用于启动所述第三晶体管T3去侦测所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
所述存储电容CS电性耦接于所述第一晶体管T1的所述输出端与所述第二晶体管T2的所述输出端之间。所述存储电容CS用于存储所述数据信号DS,当所述第一晶体管T1不导通时,所述第二晶体管T2能使所述有机发光二极管D1维持发光。
当所述有机发光二极管显示装置正常显示影像时,所述控制信号CTRL为高电位,所述第一晶体管T1及所述第四晶体管T4导通,节点A的电压为VA所述直流低电位OVSS。流过所述第二晶体管T2的电流I=K((VB-VA)-Vth) 2=K((VB-OVSS)-Vth) 2。Vth为所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压。由上述可知,所述电流I不受所述有机发光二极管D1两端的电压的影响,因此可以确保所述有机发光二极管D1为恒流状态。
当所述控制信号CTRL为低电位时,所述第四晶体管T4不导通。当所述脉冲信号SEN导通所述第三晶体管T3时,所述侦测信号ES侦测所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者并存储侦测结果。所述有机发光二极管显示装置可以根据侦测结果进行补偿。
本揭示之一特点在于将用于侦测所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者的第三晶体管T3及第四晶体管T4与倒置式的有机发光二极管D1结合,使得所述有机发光二极管显示装置能对所述第二晶体管T2的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者进行侦测及补偿。至于侦测及补偿过程为本领域的普通技术人员所熟知,于此不多加赘述。
请参阅图3,图3显示根据本揭示一实施例之薄膜晶体管基板与有机发光二极管的示意图。
本揭示之另一特点在于所述有机发光二极管D1是在所述薄膜晶体管基板20制作完成后,以转印的方式形成在所述薄膜晶体管基板20上。以转印的方式形成所述有机发光二极管D1比起现有制程更加简单。所述薄膜晶体管基板20的制程为本领域的普通技术人员所熟知,于此不多加赘述。
本揭示之像素驱动电路以及有机发光二极管显示装置中,将用于侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者的第三晶体管及第四晶体管与倒置式的有机发光二极管结合,使得所述有机发光二极管显示装置能对所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者进行侦测及补偿。再者,以转印的方式形成所述有机发光二极管比起现有制程更加简单。
综上所述,虽然本揭示已以优选实施例揭露如上,但上述优选实施例并非用以限制本揭示,本领域的普通技术人员在不脱离本揭示的精神和范围内,均可作各种更动与润饰,因此本揭示的保护范围以权利要求界定的范围为准。

Claims (13)

  1. 一种像素驱动电路,包括:
    有机发光二极管,直流高电位输入至所述有机发光二极管的阳极;
    第一晶体管,扫描信号输入至所述第一晶体管的控制端,数据信号输入至所述第一晶体管的输入端;
    第二晶体管,所述第二晶体管的控制端电性耦接至所述第一晶体管的输出端;
    第三晶体管,脉冲信号输入至所述第三晶体管的控制端,侦测信号输入至所述第三晶体管的输入端,所述第三晶体管的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管的输出端;
    第四晶体管,控制信号输入至所述第四晶体管的控制端,所述第四晶体管的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管的所述输出端,直流低电位输入至所述第四晶体管的输出端;以及
    存储电容,电性耦接于所述第一晶体管的所述输出端与所述第二晶体管的所述输出端之间,
    其中所述脉冲信号用于开始侦测或结束侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者,所述有机发光二极管为倒置式的有机发光二极管。
  2. 根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其中所述侦测信号用于侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  3. 根据权利要求1所述的像素驱动电路,其中所述控制信号用于启动所述第三晶体管去侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  4. 一种像素驱动电路,包括:
    有机发光二极管,直流高电位输入至所述有机发光二极管的阳极;
    第一晶体管,扫描信号输入至所述第一晶体管的控制端,数据信号输入至所述第一晶体管的输入端;
    第二晶体管,所述第二晶体管的控制端电性耦接至所述第一晶体管的输出端;
    第三晶体管,脉冲信号输入至所述第三晶体管的控制端,侦测信号输入至所述第三晶体管的输入端,所述第三晶体管的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管的输出端;以及
    第四晶体管,控制信号输入至所述第四晶体管的控制端,所述第四晶体管的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管的所述输出端,直流低电位输入至所述第四晶体管的输出端。
  5. 根据权利要求4所述的像素驱动电路,进一步包括:
    存储电容,电性耦接于所述第一晶体管的所述输出端与所述第二晶体管的所述输出端之间。
  6. 根据权利要求4所述的像素驱动电路,其中所述脉冲信号用于开始侦测或结束侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  7. 根据权利要求4所述的像素驱动电路,其中所述侦测信号用于侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  8. 根据权利要求4所述的像素驱动电路,其中所述控制信号用于启动所述第三晶体管去侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  9. 一种有机发光二极管显示装置,包括:
    多条源极线;
    多条栅极线,所述多条源极线及所述多条栅极线定义出多个像素;
    至少一源极驱动单元,用于向所述多条源极线提供数据信号;
    至少一栅极驱动单元,用于向所述多条栅极线提供扫描信号;
    多个像素驱动电路,电性耦接至所述多个像素,
    其中每一所述多个像素驱动电路包括:
    有机发光二极管,直流高电位输入至所述有机发光二极管的阳极;
    第一晶体管,所述扫描信号输入至所述第一晶体管的控制端,所述数据信号输入至所述第一晶体管的输入端;
    第二晶体管,所述第二晶体管的控制端电性耦接至所述第一晶体管的输出端;
    第三晶体管,脉冲信号输入至所述第三晶体管的控制端,侦测信号输入至所述第三晶体管的输入端,所述第三晶体管的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管的输出端;以及
    第四晶体管,控制信号输入至所述第四晶体管的控制端,所述第四晶体管的输入端电性耦接至所述第二晶体管的所述输出端,直流低电位输入至所述第四晶体管的输出端。
  10. 根据权利要求9所述的有机发光二极管显示装置,进一步包括:
    存储电容,电性耦接于所述第一晶体管的所述输出端与所述第二晶体管的所述输出端之间。
  11. 根据权利要求9所述的有机发光二极管显示装置,其中所述脉冲信号用于开始侦测或结束侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  12. 根据权利要求9所述的有机发光二极管显示装置,其中所述侦测信号用于侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
  13. 根据权利要求9所述的有机发光二极管显示装置,其中所述控制信号用于启动所述第三晶体管去侦测所述第二晶体管的阈值电压及迁移率的至少一者。
