Abstract
L'invention concerne un ressort ondulé (2) comprenant : une pluralité de spires (10, 12) présentant une section transversale de fil de ressort ou de bande de ressort sensiblement plate, en particulier une section transversale de bande de ressort rectangulaire, et présentant une première et une seconde spire d'extrémité (4, 6) de ressort, au moins une partie des spires (10, 12) définissant une succession (8) répétée de spires constituée d'une spire non ondulée (10) et d'une spire ondulée (12). La partie des spires (10, 12) présentant une succession (8) répétée de spires comprend plusieurs spires non ondulées et ondulées (10, 12) qui sont respectivement agencées en alternance, et chaque spire ondulée (12) présente plusieurs sommets (14) d'ondulation et creux (16) d'ondulation, de sorte que les creux (16) d'ondulation d'une spire ondulée (12) sont orientés vers la spire non ondulée (10) respective agencée au-dessous, et que les sommets (14) d'ondulation de la spire ondulée (12) sont orientés vers la spire non ondulée (10) respective agencée au-dessus. La partie des spires (10, 12) présentant la succession (8) répétée de spires comprend toutes les spires du ressort ondulé (2) ou toutes les spires du ressort ondulé (2) à l'exception d'au moins la première et/ou la seconde spire d'extrémité (4, 6) de ressort, en particulier à l'exception d'au moins la première et la seconde spire d'extrémité (4, 6) de ressort.
