Definitions
- the present invention relates to a mask worn on the face, and particularly to a mask that emits steam.
- Masks have been widely used as a defense measure against fine dust such as pollen and yellow sand, and as a measure against infection by viruses and bacteria. Further, recently, the mask functions have been diversified, and various masks have been proposed. For example, during sleep, since there is no swallowing of food, drink, saliva, etc., the oral cavity may become dry easily. In addition, the air is generally dry in the winter, and even outside the winter, air conditioners are operating in the office all year round. Therefore, even in the daytime, there are many environments where the air is easily dried, and the oral cavity is easily dried.

- the second layer 61 on the cover portion 5 side of the housing portion 6 is impermeable to moisture.
- the non-moisture permeability is not limited to the property of completely impervious to steam (water molecules), but also includes the property of slightly penetrating steam (water molecules).
- the water vapor permeability is preferably 350 g/m 2 /24 h or less, and more preferably 300 g/m 2 /24 h or less.
- the warm vapor generated from the water-containing body 3 in the storage portion 6 is not emitted on the side opposite to the face of the wearer because the non-moisture permeable second layer 61 serves as a barrier.
- the warm steam generated from the water-containing body 3 can be supplied only to the wearer's face side, and the efficiency is improved. Can be well humidified.
- both the first layer 60 and the second layer 61 of the housing portion 6 have heat insulating properties.
- the hydrated body 3 after being heated by being irradiated with microwaves in a microwave oven or the like is housed in the housing unit 6, when the temperature of the hydrated body 3 in a heated state is lowered, warm steam is radiated from the hydrated body 3. The time to occur is shorter. Therefore, in the present embodiment, the first layer 60 and the second layer 61 of the housing portion 6 are made heat-insulating, which prevents the temperature of the heated hydrated body 3 in the housing portion 6 from rapidly decreasing. As a result, the time during which warm steam is emitted from the hydrated body 3 can be extended.

- the layer 61 serves as a barrier and vapor is not released. Therefore, since the warm steam generated from the water-containing body 3 can be supplied only to the wearer's face side, the humidification can be efficiently performed.
- the upper edge of the first layer 60 on the face side of the housing portion 6 is located above the upper edge of the second layer 61 on the cover portion 5 side, and the cover portion 5 of the cover portion 5 is formed. Since the mask 1 is bonded to the face side, the first layer 60 is interposed between the upper opening of the housing 6 and the wearer's face when the mask 1 is worn. Therefore, even if the warm steam generated from the water-containing body 3 in the housing portion 6 is discharged from the upper opening of the housing portion 6, it is not discharged to the wearer's face side after passing through the first layer 60. Can be prevented from directly contacting the wearer's face.
- the housing portion 6 is attached to the cover portion 5 at a position lower than the upper edge 50 of the cover portion 5. Therefore, since the container 6 is placed under the nose of the wearer when the mask 1 is worn, the nose is not covered with the water-containing body 3 and the wearer can easily breathe through the nose. The hydrated body 3 does not hit the nose and the feeling of wearing the mask 1 does not deteriorate.
- the water-containing body 3 is housed in the housing portion 6 of the mask body 2 and then irradiated with microwaves to be heated.
- the water-containing body 3 of the mask body 2 is heated after being irradiated with microwaves. It may be housed in the housing part 6.
- the vapor holding layer 62 is provided on the first layer 60 on the face side of the housing portion 6, but the vapor holding layer 62 does not necessarily have to be provided.
- the 1st layer 60 and the 2nd layer 61 of the accommodating part 6 have heat insulation, only one may have heat insulation, or either. It does not have to have heat insulating properties.
- the first layer 60 of the accommodating portion 6 is moisture permeable and the second layer 61 is moisture impermeable, but both may be moisture permeable.
