Abstract
一种柔性显示装置,包括显示区(100)、第一扇形区(110)、第一直线区(120)、第二扇形区(130)、第二直线区(140)和结合区(150)。其中显示区(100)内设置有第一讯号线和第二讯号线,两者会通过设置在第一扇形区(110)、第一直线区(120)、第二扇形区(130)、第二直线区(140)内的金属层直至结合区(150)的金属层来进行讯号传递。其中第一讯号线的总体电阻值大致等于第二讯号线的总体电阻值。能够有效解决现有技术中存在的外围电路结构中的双层金属讯号走线电阻差异较大的问题。
Description
本发明涉及显示技术领域,尤其是,其中的一种柔性显示装置。
已知,窄边框显示屏由于具有高的屏占比受到用户的青睐,也成为显示面板企业研发的重点。然而,由于受到外围电路的布局的限制,显示面板内部分边框的窄化设计受到一定的限制。
具体来讲,例如在显示面板的显示区和驱动芯片之间存在连接像素控制电路电极和驱动芯片之间的金属走线,这些金属走线按图形大致可分为几个区域:扇形区1:显示区域内讯号走线向外引出;直线区1:扇形区1走线的向下延伸,此区域为柔性弯折区,沿弯折线弯折,可将后续的扇形区2、直线区2、Bonding区以及柔性印刷电路板等向下弯曲,使上述至少一部分位于显示区下方,从而可以一定程度减小下部边框尺寸。
然而这种结构下的所述扇形区1仍然与显示区位于同一平面内,其还是增加了下边框的尺寸。因此,如何减小扇形区1的宽度成为实现下部窄边框的难点所在。
进一步的,在传统的扇形区1结构中,讯号走线是由单层的金属层组成,这也就使得所述扇形区1的宽度主要由金属层的讯号走线宽度及其相邻讯号线间距决定。而为了缩减所述扇形区1的宽度,业界开发了一种双层金属的布线方式,双层金属布线的方式减小了相邻两条讯号线的间距,因此,可以有效减小所述扇形区1的有效宽度。
进一步的,对于这种扇形区的双层金属布线结构而言,其第一金属层和第二金属层一般为驱动阵列结构中的某两层金属膜层的延伸。例如,第一金属层与驱动阵列结构中的栅极金属层共用,第二金属层与电容上极板共用。当所述第一金属层与第二金属层的材料不同时,例如,第一金属层采用金属Mo,而第二金属层采用复合金属TiAlTi,二者的电阻率有较大差异。因此,这会导致采用不同金属层的相邻讯号线的讯号传导存在以下两个问题:
1、相邻讯号线的讯号传输速率不同;
2、相邻讯号线产生的电压损失不同。
而这些因素会造成显示面板显示的画面显示异常,因此,确有必要来研发一种新型的柔性显示装置,来克服现有技术中的缺陷。
本发明的一个方面是提供一种柔性显示装置,其能够有效解决现有技术中存在的外围电路结构中的双层金属讯号走线电阻差异较大的问题。
本发明采用的技术方案如下:
一种柔性显示装置,包括显示区、第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区和结合(bonding)区。其中所述显示区内设置有第一讯号线和第二讯号线,两者会通过设置在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区内的金属层直至所述结合区的金属层来进行讯号传递。其中所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区、结合区内上下分层设置有第一金属层和第二金属层,两金属层之间设置有绝缘层。其中所述第一讯号线在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区、结合区选用的第一金属层或第二金属层相加得出的总体电阻值R1,以及所述第二讯号线在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区、结合区选用的第一金属层或第二金属层相加得出的总体电阻值R2,其中所述R1和R2两者之间的阻值差值在所述R1阻值或是R2阻值的15%以内。
其中,所述两讯号线选用的金属层的阻值之和R1和R2两者之间优选阻值相等,但在其他实施方式中,两者之间的阻值也可以并不一定是严格的相等,其也可以有轻微的差异,只要这种差异不会影响到讯号传输即可。具体的差异值范围,可根据实际选用的金属材料来进行具体的规定,例如,两者阻值差值在R1或是R2阻值的15%以内。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线为显示区和驱动芯片之间存在连接像素控制电路电极和驱动芯片之间的金属走线。
其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第一扇形区选用不同的金属层。例如,若所述第一讯号线选用第一金属层,则所述第二讯号线选用第二金属层。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第一直线区选用相同的金属层。例如,所述第一讯号线选用第一金属层,则所述第二讯号线也选用第一金属层。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第二扇形区选用不同的金属层。例如,所述第一讯号线选用第二金属层,则所述第二讯号线选用第一金属层。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第二直线区选用不同的金属层。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中在所述第一扇形区、第二扇形区、第一直线区和第二直线区,所述第一金属层和第二金属层为上下相互错开排列设置。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中所述第一金属层选用的金属包括Mo或TiAlTi。在其他不同实施方式中,选用的金属也可以是其他已知的用于布线的金属或是复合金属。
进一步的,在不同实施方式中,其中所述第二金属层选用的金属包括Mo或TiAlTi。在其他不同实施方式中,选用的金属也可以是其他已知的用于布线的金属或是复合金属。
本发明涉及的一种柔性显示装置,其采用组合排列的方式,使得不同讯号线在不同区域通过排列组合的方式选用出的不同层的金属布线层,这些不同区域选用的不同或是相同金属层的阻值之和大致相等或是阻值差值在可接受的范围内,从而有效的解决了不同讯号线间因电阻差异大而导致的讯号传输速度差异和讯号损失差异问题。
为了更清楚地说明本发明实施例中的技术方案,下面将对实施例描述中所需要使用的附图作简单地介绍,显而易见地,下面描述中的附图仅仅是本发明的一些实施例,对于本领域技术人员来讲,在不付出创造性劳动的前提下,还可以根据这些附图获得其他的附图。
图1为本发明一个实施方式中涉及的一种柔性显示装置的结构示意图;
图2为图1所示的柔性显示装置,其扇形区布置的金属层的结构示意图;
图3为图1所示的柔性显示装置中的两条相邻讯号线的结构示意图。
以下将结合附图和实施例,对本发明涉及的一种柔性显示装置的技术方案作进一步的详细描述。
请参阅图1所示,本发明的一个实施方式提供了一种柔性显示装置,包括显示区100、第一扇形区110、第一直线区120、第二扇形区130、第二直线区140和结合(bonding)区150。
请参阅图2所示,其中所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区内上下分层设置有第一金属层112和第二金属层114,两金属层之间设置有绝缘层113。具体的,其中所述第一金属层选用金属Mo,而所述第二金属层选用复合金属TiAlTi。
进一步的,所述显示区100内设置有多个讯号线,这些讯号线可以是在所述显示区和驱动芯片之间存在连接像素控制电路电极和驱动芯片之间的金属走线。其中每一讯号线包括设置在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区内的金属层直至所述结合(bonding)区的金属层。
对于这些讯号线,以其中的两条相邻讯号线n和(n+1)为例而言,在一个具体实施方式中,请参阅图3所示。其中在第一扇形区110讯号线n采用第二金属层114,讯号线n+1采用第一金属层112,因此,在所述第一扇形区110的讯号线n的电阻小于讯号线n+1的电阻。
在所述第一直线区120,所述讯号线n+1与所述讯号线n采用相同金属层,具体可以是第一或二金属层,图中所示为第二金属层114,此段两讯号线的电阻相同。
在所述第二扇形区130,所述讯号线n换线采用所述第一金属层112,而所述讯号线n+1依然采用所述第二金属层114,因此,在所述第二扇形区130,所述讯号线n的电阻大于所述讯号线(n+1)的电阻。
在所述第二直线区140,所述讯号线n和讯号线(n+1)交替选用了第一金属层112和第二金属层114,只是两者在上下对应的位置处,选用了不同的金属层。而在所述结合区150,所述讯号线n和讯号线(n+1)均选用了相同金属层,如图中所示,其为第二金属层114。
综合考虑在所述第一扇形区110、第一直线区120、第二扇形区130、第二直线区140以及结合区150选用的金属层,所述讯号线n和讯号线(n+1)之间的整体电阻值R1和R2之间的阻值差异将相等或接近。
如此,本发明涉及的一种柔性显示装置,其采用组合排列的方式,使得不同讯号线在不同区域通过排列组合的方式选用出的不同层的金属布线层,这些不同区域选用的不同或是相同金属层的阻值之和大致相等或是阻值差值在可接受的范围内,从而有效的解决了不同讯号线间因电阻差异大而导致的讯号传输速度差异和讯号损失差异问题。
本发明的技术范围不仅仅局限于上述说明中的内容,本领域技术人员可以在不脱离本发明技术思想的前提下,对上述实施例进行多种变形和修改,而这些变形和修改均应当属于本发明的范围内。
Claims (10)
- 一种柔性显示装置,包括显示区、第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区和结合区;其中所述显示区内设置有第一讯号线和第二讯号线,所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线会通过设置在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区内的金属层直至所述结合区的金属层来进行讯号传递;其中所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区、结合区内上下分层设置有第一金属层和第二金属层,两金属层之间设置有绝缘层;其中所述第一讯号线在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区、结合区选用的第一金属层或第二金属层相加得出的总体电阻值R1,以及所述第二讯号线在所述第一扇形区、第一直线区、第二扇形区、第二直线区、结合区选用的第一金属层或第二金属层相加得出的总体电阻值R2,所述R1和R2两者之间的阻值差值在所述R1阻值或是R2阻值的15%以内。
- 根据权利要求1所述的一种柔性显示装置,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线为显示区和驱动芯片之间存在连接像素控制电路电极和驱动芯片之间的金属走线。
- 根据权利要求1所述的一种柔性显示装置,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第一扇形区选用不同的金属层。
- 根据权利要求1所述的一种柔性显示装置,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第二扇形区选用不同的金属层。
- 根据权利要求1所述的一种柔性显示装置,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第二直线区选用不同的金属层。
- 根据权利要求1所述的一种柔性显示装置,其中所述第一讯号线和第二讯号线在所述第一直线区选用相同的金属层。
