Description

書き味向上シート
 本発明は、タッチパネル等におけるタッチペンでの書き味を向上させることのできる書き味向上シートに関するものである。
 近年、各種電子機器において、表示装置と入力手段とを兼ねた位置検出機能付き画像表示装置(タッチパネル)が多く利用されている。このようなタッチパネルにおいては、指により入力を行うもの以外にも、タッチペンにより入力を行うものがあり、タッチペンによれば、指よりも細かく精度の高い入力作業が可能である。しかしながら、通常、タッチパネルの表示モジュールは硬質である。そのため、タッチペンによる書き味は、筆記具で紙に書くときの書き味と異なり、良好とはいい難い。
 タッチパネルにおけるタッチペンによる書き味の問題を解決するために、タッチパネルの最表面に、書き味を向上させるフィルム(以下、「書き味向上フィルム」または「書き味向上シート」と称する場合がある。)を貼付することが検討されている。例えば、特許文献1には、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を再現しようとしたフィルムが開示されている。具体的には、特許文献1には、透明基材層とこの透明基材層の一方の面に積層された表面平滑層とを含む透明積層フィルムであって、当該表面平滑層が、硬化性樹脂及びレベリング剤を含む硬化性組成物の硬化物で形成され、当該硬化性樹脂がウレタン(メタ)アクリレートを含み、静摩擦係数が0.2~0.4であり、動摩擦係数が0.1~0.3であり、かつ静摩擦係数と動摩擦係数との差(静摩擦係数-動摩擦係数)が0.05を超える透明積層フィルムが開示されている。

 しかしながら、特許文献1に開示された発明では、ボールペンで紙に筆記した際の書き味を十分に得られるものではなかった。そのため、ボールペンで紙に筆記した際の書き味をさらに良好に再現した書き味向上シートの開発が求められていた。
 本発明は、このような実状に鑑みてなされたものであり、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現できる書き味向上シートを提供することを目的とする。
 上記目的を達成するために、第1に本発明は、基材と、タッチペンが接触する書き味向上層とを備えた書き味向上シートであって、前記書き味向上層のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、前記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、前記タッチペンと前記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、前記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させたときに、摺動距離が10mmの地点から100mmの地点の間において測定される、前記ペン先と前記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差が、80mN以上、300mN以下であることを特徴とする書き味向上シートを提供する(発明1)。
 上記発明(発明1)に係る書き味向上シートは、上述の通り測定される摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差が上記範囲であることで、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の振動感を再現することができ、これにより、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現することが可能となる。
 第2に本発明は、基材と、タッチペンが接触する書き味向上層とを備えた書き味向上シートであって、前記書き味向上層のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、前記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、前記タッチペンと前記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、前記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させたときに、摺動距離が10mmの地点から20mmの地点の間において測定される、前記ペン先と前記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の標準偏差が、15mN以上、60mN以下であることを特徴とする書き味向上シートを提供する(発明2)。
 上記発明(発明2)に係る書き味向上シートは、上述の通り測定される摩擦力の標準偏差が上記範囲であることで、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の振動感を再現することができ、これにより、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現することが可能となる。
 上記発明(発明1,2)において、摺動距離が10mmの地点から100mmの地点の間において測定される、前記タッチペンと前記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の平均値が、200mN以上、1200mN以下であることが好ましい(発明3)。
 上記発明(発明1~3)においては、前記基材における前記書き味向上層とは反対の面側に、粘着剤層を備えることが好ましい(発明4)。
 上記発明(発明1~4)において、前記書き味向上シートのヘイズ値が、25%以上であることが好ましい(発明5)。
 本発明に係る書き味向上シートは、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現できる。

 以下、本発明の実施形態について説明する。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シートは、タッチペンが使用されるタッチパネルの最表層を構成するシートであり、基材と、タッチペンが接触する書き味向上層を備える。好ましくは、図1に示すように、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1は、基材11と、書き味向上層12とを積層してなる。
1.書き味向上シートの物性
(1)摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1では、書き味向上層12のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、上記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、上記タッチペンと上記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、上記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させたときに、摺動距離が10mmの地点から100mmの地点の間において測定される、上記ペン先と上記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差が、80mN以上であることが好ましく、90mN以上であることがより好ましく、特に100mN以上であることが好ましく、さらには110mN以上であることが好ましい。また、上述した差は、300mN以下であることが好ましく、280mN以下であることがより好ましく、特に260mN以下であることが好ましく、さらには240mN以下であることが好ましい。
 ここで、上述のように測定される摩擦力について、図2を参照してより詳細に説明する。図2には、一般的な書き味向上シートの表面上にタッチペンを摺動させた場合に、当該タッチペンのペン先と上記表面との間に生じる摩擦力を連続的に測定した結果が示されている。図2に示されるグラフでは、横軸をタッチペンの摺動距離とし、縦軸を測定された摩擦力としている。当該グラフに示されるように、一般的に、測定される摩擦力の値は、常に一定の値となる訳ではなく、摺動距離に応じて変動するものとなる。図2のグラフにおいては、移動の始め(例えば、摺動距離0~10mmの間)においては、摩擦力は、0mNから急激に上昇し、さらにその直後に低下する動きをみせる。そして、それ以降(例えば、摺動距離10mm以降)においては、摩擦力は、多少変動しながらも所定の値付近に安定化するものとなる。
 このような特性を示す摩擦力の測定結果において、本実施形態における書き味向上シート1では、摩擦力の安定化がみられる摺動距離10mmの位置以降において、摩擦力の最大値および最小値を特定し、それらの差を得るものである。当該差は、摩擦力が安定化した状態における、摩擦力の変動の幅(振幅)を表したものともいえる。また、本実施形態における書き味向上シート1では、得られる差の精度を高める観点から、摺動距離100mmまでの測定結果を利用する。
 本実施形態における書き味向上シート1では、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差が上述した範囲であることで、書き味向上シート1が貼合されたタッチパネルにタッチペンを使用した際に、タッチペンを握る手に伝わる振動感が、紙にボールペンで筆記した際に得られる振動感と非常に近いものとなる。これにより、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現することが可能となる。
 上述した摩擦力の最大値は、300mN以上であることが好ましく、特に400mN以上であることが好ましく、さらには450mN以上であることが好ましい。また、上述した摩擦力の最大値は、1500mN以下であることが好ましく、1200mN以下であることがより好ましく、特に1000mN以下であることが好ましく、さらには800mN以下であることが好ましい。
 また、上述した摩擦力の最小値は、180mN以上であることが好ましく、特に250mN以上であることが好ましく、さらには300mN以上であることが好ましい。また、上述した摩擦力の最小値は、1000mN以下であることが好ましく、特に800mN以下であることが好ましく、さらには650mN以下であることが好ましい。
 上述した摩擦力の最大値および最小値が、それぞれ上述した範囲であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差を前述した範囲に調整し易くなる。
 上述した摩擦力の平均値は、下限値として、200mN以上であることが好ましく、250mN以上であることがより好ましく、特に300mN以上であることが好ましく、さらには380mN以上であることが好ましい。平均値の下限値が上述した範囲であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差を上述した範囲に調整し易くなり、書き味向上シート1が貼合されたタッチパネルにタッチペンを使用した際に、タッチペンを握る手に伝わる振動感を、紙にボールペンで筆記した際に得られる振動感を良好に再現し易いものとなる。また、上述した摩擦力の平均値は、上限値として、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差を上述した範囲に調整し易くなる観点から、1200mN以下であることが好ましく、1150mN以下であることがより好ましく、特に1050mN以下であることが好ましく、さらに、後述する動摩擦係数を所定の範囲に調整し易くなる観点から、特に950mN以下であることが好ましく、さらには700mN以下であることが好ましい。
 なお、以上説明した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差、当該最大値、当該最小値および摩擦力の平均値の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
(2)摩擦力の標準偏差
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1では、書き味向上層12のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、上記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、上記タッチペンと上記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、上記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させたときに、摺動距離が10mmの地点から20mmの地点の間において測定される、上記ペン先と上記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の標準偏差が、15mN以上であることが好ましく、18mN以上であることがより好ましく、特に21mN以上であることが好ましく、さらには24mN以上であることが好ましい。また、上述した差は、60mN以下であることが好ましく、54mN以下であることがより好ましく、特に48mN以下であることが好ましく、さらには42mN以下であることが好ましく、40mN以下であることが最も好ましい。
 上述した標準偏差も、図2のグラフに示されるように測定される一連の摩擦力のうち、摩擦力の安定化がみられる摺動距離10mmの位置以降における測定結果を利用して得られるものである。なお、上述した標準偏差を特定する場合には、摺動距離20mmまでの測定結果を利用する。
 本実施形態における書き味向上シート1では、摩擦力の標準偏差が上述した範囲であることで、書き味向上シート1が貼合されたタッチパネルにタッチペンを使用した際に、タッチペンを握る手に伝わる振動感が、紙にボールペンで筆記した際に得られる振動感と非常に近いものとなる。これにより、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現することが可能となる。なお、上述した標準偏差の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
(3)動摩擦係数
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1では、書き味向上層12のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、上記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、上記タッチペンと上記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、上記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させる場合における動摩擦係数が、0.11以上であることが好ましく、特に0.14以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.20以上であることが好ましい。また、上述した動摩擦係数は、0.62以下であることが好ましく、0.52以下であることがより好ましく、特に0.42以下であることが好ましく、さらには0.32以下であることが好ましい。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1では、書き味向上層12のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、上記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、上記タッチペンと上記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、上記タッチペンを速度16.7mm/秒で直線的に摺動させる場合における動摩擦係数が、0.11以上であることが好ましく、特に0.16以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.21以上であることが好ましい。また、上述した動摩擦係数は、0.64以下であることが好ましく、0.54以下であることがより好ましく、特に0.44以下であることが好ましく、さらには0.34以下であることが好ましい。なお、上述した速度16.7mm/秒という速度は、実際に人がペンを用いて文字を書く速度に近いものである。
 動摩擦係数が上述した範囲であることで、書き味向上シート1が貼合されたタッチパネルにタッチペンを使用した際に、タッチペンを握る手に伝わる抵抗感が、紙にボールペンで筆記した際に得られる抵抗感と非常に近いものとなる。これにより、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をさらに良好に再現することが可能となる。なお、上述した動摩擦係数の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
 なお、一般的に、動摩擦係数は、接触する物質の組み合わせにより一義的に決まるものとされるが、これは、当該物質の表面の状態等の条件が理想的なものである場合に特に当てはまるものと考えられる。これに対し、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1のような現実における書き味向上シートでは、当該シート上にてタッチペンを摺動させる際における動摩擦係数は、その摺動速度等に応じて、動摩擦係数が変わる傾向にある。この理由の1つとしては、書き味向上フィルムの表面に微小な凹凸が存在することが挙げられる。このような凹凸が存在する表面においてタッチペンを摺動させる場合、タッチペンのペン先が当該凹凸に衝突しながらタッチペンが摺動することとなる。ここで、ミクロな視点においては、摺動速度が早くなると、ペン先が衝突する時の力が大きくなり、それにともない、測定される摩擦力や動摩擦係数が大きくなるといった変化が生じると予想される。
 また、別の理由として、シート表面の柔らかさやペン先の柔らかさが影響することが挙げられる。例えば、比較的柔らかいシート表面上において、比較的柔らかいペン先を摺動させる場合、摺動速度が早くなるほど、シート表面にペン先が引っかかりやすくなり、それによって、測定される摩擦力や動摩擦係数に変化がもたらされると予想される。このような、接触する物質の柔らかさに起因する変化は、上述したようなシート表面における凹凸の有無に起因する変化とは独立して生じるものと考えられる。
 なお、以上説明した理由は、これらに限定されるものではなく、全く別の理由によるものであってもよい。
(4)表面粗さ
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1では、書き味向上層側の面における算術平均表面粗さ(Ra)が、0.05μm以上であることが好ましく、特に0.12μm以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.16μm以上であることが好ましい。また、算術平均表面粗さ(Ra)は、0.95μm以下であることが好ましく、0.85μm以下であることがより好ましく、特に0.75μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには0.55μm以下であることが好ましい。算術平均表面粗さ(Ra)が上記範囲であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差および標準偏差、並びに摩擦力の動摩擦係数をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる。
 また、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1では、書き味向上層側の面における十点平均表面粗さ(Rzjis)が、0.8μm以上であることが好ましく、特に1.5μm以上であることが好ましく、さらには2.2μm以上であることが好ましい。また、十点平均表面粗さ(Rzjis)は,8μm以下であることが好ましく、7μm以下であることがより好ましく、特に6μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには5μm以下であることが好ましい。十点平均表面粗さ(Rzjis)が上記範囲であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差および標準偏差、並びに摩擦力の動摩擦係数をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる。
 なお、上述した平均表面粗さ(Ra)および十点平均表面粗さ(Rzjis)は、JIS B0601:2013に準拠して測定されるものであり、これらの測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
(5)光学物性
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1のヘイズ値は、特に限定されず、0.5%以上であることが好ましく、1%以上であることがより好ましいが、書き味向上シート1が使用されるタブレット端末等において、タッチパネルの映像光の散乱が生じ、その部分がぎらついて光る現象(以下、「ギラツキ」という場合がある。)の発生を効果的に抑制することができる観点から、特に25%以上であることが好ましく、さらには50%以上であることが好ましい。一方、上記ヘイズ値は、95%以下であることが好ましく、特に90%以下であることが好ましく、さらには85%以下であることが好ましい。上記ヘイズ値が95%以下であることで、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の透明性がより高いものとなる。なお、上記ヘイズ値は、JIS K7136:2000に準じて測定されたものであり、その詳細な測定方法は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1は、全光線透過率が70%以上であることが好ましく、特に80%以上であることが好ましく、さらには88%以上であることが好ましい。上記全光線透過率が70%以上であることで、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の透明性がより高いものとなる。一方、上記全光線透過率の上限値については、特に制限はなく、例えば100%以下であることが好ましく、特に96%以下であることが好ましく、さらには92%以下であることが好ましい。なお、上記全光線透過率は、JIS K7361-1:1997に準じて測定されたものであり、その詳細な測定方法は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
(6)耐擦傷性
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の書き味向上層12側の面は、#0000のスチールウールを用いて、250g/cmの荷重で書き味向上層12を10cm、10往復擦り、傷が生じないことが好ましい。このようなスチールウール硬度の評価による耐擦傷性を有することにより、書き味向上層12は良好なハードコート性を発揮することができ、書き味向上シート1が耐擦傷性に優れたものとなる。
(7)表面形状
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の書き味向上層12側の面は、光干渉式表面形状観察装置を用いてその表面形状を観察した場合に、高さが1.0μm以下の領域である平坦部の割合が、40%以下であることが好ましく、30%以下であることがより好ましく、特に20%以下であることが好ましく、さらには15%以下であることが好ましく、10%以下であることが最も好ましい。平坦部の割合が40%以下であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる。特に、平坦部の割合が20%以下であることで、書き味向上シート1における書き味向上層12側の面が、図3に示されるように、一様な凹凸構造を有する表面を有し易いものとなる。これにより、前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差の条件を満たすことと相まって、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をさらに良好に再現し易いものとなる。また、図3に示すように一様な凹凸構造が存在する表面においてタッチペンを摺動させる場合、タッチペンのペン先が当該凹凸へ一定間隔で適度に衝突しながら摺動し易くなる。このため、ペン先が凹凸構造に衝突する際に生ずるペン先にかかる力も一定で適度なものとなり、ペン先に対する負荷がかかりにくいものとなって、タッチペンのペン先の摩耗を低減し易いものとなる。さらには、書き味向上シート1の外観を良好なものとすることができる。なお、上記平坦部の割合の下限値については、特に限定されないが、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差および標準偏差、並びに摩擦力の動摩擦係数をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる観点から、例えば1%以上であってよく、特に3%以上であってよく、さらには5%以上であってよい。また、上記平坦部の割合の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の書き味向上層12側の面は、光干渉式表面形状観察装置を用いてその表面形状を観察した場合に、上述した平坦部に想定可能な内接円のうち半径が最大となる内接円の当該半径(平坦部内接円の最大半径)が、100μm以下であることが好ましく、80μm以下であることがより好ましく、特に60μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには50μm以下であることが好ましく、40μm以下であることが最も好ましい。平坦部内接円の最大半径が100μm以下であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる。特に、平坦部内接円の最大半径が60μm以下であることで、書き味向上シート1における書き味向上層12側の面が、図3に示されるように、一様な凹凸構造を有する表面を有し易いものとなる。これにより、前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差の条件を満たすことと相まって、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をさらに良好に再現し易いものとなる。また、タッチペンのペン先の摩耗を低減し易いものとなるとともに、書き味向上シート1の外観を良好なものとすることができる。なお、上記平坦部内接円の最大半径の下限値については、特に限定されないが、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差および標準偏差、並びに摩擦力の動摩擦係数をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる観点から、例えば10μm以上であってよく、特に20μm以上であってよく、さらには30μm以上であってよい。また、上記平坦部内接円の最大半径の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の書き味向上層12側の面は、光干渉式表面形状観察装置を用いてその表面形状を観察した場合に、高さが1μm超、5μm以下である突起の数が、300個以下であることが好ましく、240個以下であることがより好ましく、特に180個以下であることが好ましく、さらには120個以下であることが好ましく、100個以下であることが最も好ましい。上述した突起の数が300個以下であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる。特に、上述した突起の数が180個以下であることで、書き味向上シート1における書き味向上層12側の面が、図3に示されるように、一様な凹凸構造を有する表面を有し易いものとなる。これにより、前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差の条件を満たすことと相まって、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をさらに良好に再現し易いものとなる。また、タッチペンのペン先の摩耗を低減し易いものとなるとともに、書き味向上シート1の外観を良好なものとすることができる。なお、上述した突起の数の下限値については、特に限定されないが、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差および標準偏差、並びに摩擦力の動摩擦係数をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる観点から、例えば10個以上であってよく、特に40個以上であってよく、さらには80個以上であってよい。また、上述した突起の数の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の書き味向上層12側の面は、光干渉式表面形状観察装置を用いてその表面形状を観察した場合に、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易くなる観点から、高さが5μm超の突起の数が、30個以下であることが好ましく、20個以下であることがより好ましい。そして、書き味向上シート1における書き味向上層12側の面が、図3に示されるように、一様な凹凸構造を有する表面を有し易いものとなる観点から、高さが5μm超の突起の数は、15個以下であることが好ましく、10個以下であることがより好ましく、特に5個以下であることが好ましく、さらには2個以下であることが好ましく、0個であることが最も好ましい。これにより、前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差の条件を満たすことと相まって、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をさらに良好に再現し易いものとなる。また、タッチペンのペン先の摩耗を低減し易いものとなるとともに、書き味向上シート1の外観を良好なものとすることができる。なお、上述した突起の数の測定方法の詳細は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
2.書き味向上シートの各部材
(1)基材
 基材11としては、タッチペンが使用されるタッチパネル用として適したものから適宜選択すればよく、好ましくは書き味向上層12との親和性の良好なプラスチックフィルムを選択する。ただし、基材11は、ガラスであってもよい。
 かかるプラスチックフィルムとしては、例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、ポリブチレンテレフタレート、ポリエチレンナフタレート等のポリエステルフィルム、ポリエチレンフィルム、ポリプロピレンフィルム等のポリオレフィンフィルム、セロファン、ジアセチルセルロースフィルム、トリアセチルセルロースフィルム、アセチルセルロースブチレートフィルム、ポリ塩化ビニルフィルム、ポリ塩化ビニリデンフィルム、ポリビニルアルコールフィルム、エチレン-酢酸ビニル共重合体フィルム、ポリスチレンフィルム、ポリカーボネートフィルム、ポリメチルペンテンフィルム、ポリスルフォンフィルム、ポリエーテルエーテルケトンフィルム、ポリエーテルスルフォンフィルム、ポリエーテルイミドフィルム、フッ素樹脂フィルム、ポリアミドフィルム、アクリル樹脂フィルム、ポリウレタン樹脂フィルム、ノルボルネン系重合体フィルム、環状オレフィン系重合体フィルム、環状共役ジエン系重合体フィルム、ビニル脂環式炭化水素重合体フィルム等のプラスチックフィルムまたはそれらの積層フィルムが挙げられる。中でも、前述した書き味向上層12との組み合わせにおいて、タッチペンの書き味を良好に維持することのできるポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルム、ポリカーボネートフィルム、ノルボルネン系重合体フィルム等が好ましく、特にポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムが好ましい。
 また、上記基材11においては、その表面に設けられる層(書き味向上層12、後述する粘着剤層等)との密着性を向上させる目的で、所望により片面または両面に、プライマー処理、酸化法、凹凸化法等により表面処理を施すことができる。酸化法としては、例えばコロナ放電処理、クロム酸処理、火炎処理、熱風処理、オゾン・紫外線処理等が挙げられ、凹凸化法としては、例えばサンドブラスト法、溶剤処理法等が挙げられる。これらの表面処理法は基材11の種類に応じて適宜選ばれる。一例として、プライマー処理により易接着層を形成したプラスチックフィルム、特にポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムが好ましく用いられる。
 基材11の厚さは、15μm以上であることが好ましく、特に30μm以上であることが好ましく、さらには90μm以上であることが好ましい。また、基材11の厚さは、300μm以下であることが好ましく、特に200μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには150μm以下であることが好ましい。
(2)書き味向上層
 本実施形態における書き味向上層12を形成するための材料は、前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または前述した摩擦力の標準偏差を達成できるものであれば特に限定されない。好ましくは、書き味向上層12は、以下に説明するコーティング組成物を硬化させることにより形成される。このようなコーティング組成物によれば、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易い。
 本実施形態におけるコーティング組成物は、硬化性成分と、微粒子と、表面調整剤と、シリカナノ粒子とを含有することが好ましい。
(2-1)硬化性成分
 硬化性成分は、活性エネルギー線や熱等のトリガーによって硬化する成分であり、例えば、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分、熱硬化性成分等が挙げられる。本実施形態では、形成される書き味向上層12の硬度や、基材11(プラスチックフィルム)の耐熱性等の観点から、活性エネルギー線硬化性成分を使用することが好ましい。
 活性エネルギー線硬化性成分としては、活性エネルギー線の照射により硬化して所定の硬度を発揮し、前述した物性を達成できるものが好ましい。
 具体的な活性エネルギー線硬化性成分としては、多官能性(メタ)アクリレート系モノマー、(メタ)アクリレート系プレポリマー、活性エネルギー線硬化性ポリマー等が挙げられるが、中でも多官能性(メタ)アクリレート系モノマーおよび/または(メタ)アクリレート系プレポリマーであることが好ましく、多官能性(メタ)アクリレート系モノマーであることがより好ましい。多官能性(メタ)アクリレート系モノマーおよび(メタ)アクリレート系プレポリマーは、それぞれ単独で使用してもよいし、両者を併用してもよい。なお、本明細書において、(メタ)アクリレートとは、アクリレートおよびメタクリレートの両方を意味する。他の類似用語も同様である。
 多官能性(メタ)アクリレート系モノマーとしては、例えば、1,4-ブタンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、1,6-ヘキサンジオールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ネオペンチルグリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ポリエチレングリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ヒドロキシピバリン酸ネオペンチルグリコールジ(メタ)アクリレート、ジシクロペンタニルジ(メタ)アクリレート、カプロラクトン変性ジシクロペンテニルジ(メタ)アクリレート、エチレンオキシド変性リン酸ジ(メタ)アクリレート、アリル化シクロヘキシルジ(メタ)アクリレート、イソシアヌレートジ(メタ)アクリレート、トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、プロピオン酸変性ジペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、ペンタエリスリトールトリ(メタ)アクリレート、プロピレンオキシド変性トリメチロールプロパントリ(メタ)アクリレート、トリス(アクリロキシエチル)イソシアヌレート、ペンタエリスリトールテトラ(メタ)アクリレート、プロピオン酸変性ジペンタエリスリトールペンタ(メタ)アクリレート、ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート、エチレンオキシド変性ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート、カプロラクトン変性ジペンタエリスリトールヘキサ(メタ)アクリレート等の多官能性(メタ)アクリレートが挙げられる。これらは、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 一方、(メタ)アクリレート系プレポリマーとしては、例えば、ポリエステルアクリレート系、エポキシアクリレート系、ウレタンアクリレート系、ポリオールアクリレート系等のプレポリマーが挙げられる。
 ポリエステルアクリレート系プレポリマーとしては、例えば、多価カルボン酸と多価アルコールの縮合によって得られる両末端に水酸基を有するポリエステルオリゴマーの水酸基を(メタ)アクリル酸でエステル化することにより、あるいは、多価カルボン酸にアルキレンオキシドを付加して得られるオリゴマーの末端の水酸基を(メタ)アクリル酸でエステル化することにより得ることができる。
 エポキシアクリレート系プレポリマーは、例えば、比較的低分子量のビスフェノール型エポキシ樹脂やノボラック型エポキシ樹脂のオキシラン環に、(メタ)アクリル酸を反応しエステル化することにより得ることができる。
 ウレタンアクリレート系プレポリマーは、例えば、ポリエーテルポリオールやポリエステルポリオールとポリイソシアネートの反応によって得られるポリウレタンオリゴマーを、(メタ)アクリル酸でエステル化することにより得ることができる。
 ポリオールアクリレート系プレポリマーは、例えば、ポリエーテルポリオールの水酸基を(メタ)アクリル酸でエステル化することにより得ることができる。
 以上のプレポリマーは、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
(2-2)微粒子
 コーティング組成物が微粒子を含有することにより、形成される書き味向上層12は、その表面が適度に粗面となり、その結果、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。これにより、書き味向上層12にタッチペンで筆記した際に適度な振動感を発現し得るものとなり、書き味向上シート1は、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現するものとなる。
 なお、上記微粒子は、後述するシリカナノ粒子よりも平均粒径が大きいものを指すものとする。例えば、上記微粒子の平均粒径は、1μm以上であることが好ましく、特に2μm以上であることが好ましく、さらには3μm以上であることが好ましい。また、上記微粒子の平均粒径は、20μm以下であることが好ましく、特に16μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには12μm以下であることが好ましい。上記微粒子の平均粒径が上記の範囲にあることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。さらに、摩擦力の動摩擦係数を前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなり、書き味向上層12に適度な摩擦感を付与し、前述した振動感との相乗効果により、書き味向上シート1は、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をより良好に再現するものとなる。
 また、上記微粒子の、下記式で示される粒径の変動係数(CV値)は、3%以上であることが好ましく、特に8%以上であることが好ましい。さらに、当該粒径の変動係数(CV値)は、70%以下であることが好ましく、特に45%以下であることが好ましく、さらには25%以下であることが好ましい。
 粒径の変動係数(CV値)=(標準偏差粒径/平均粒径)×100
 上記微粒子のCV値が上記の範囲にあることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。さらに、摩擦力の動摩擦係数を前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなり、書き味向上層12に適度な摩擦感を付与し、前述した振動感との相乗効果により、書き味向上シート1は、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をより良好に再現するものとなる。
 なお、上述した微粒子の平均粒径および粒径の変動係数(CV値)は、レーザー回折散乱式粒度分布測定装置を用い、分散媒であるメチルエチルケトンにより調製した5質量%濃度の分散液をサンプルとして数滴使用し、測定した値とする。
 上記微粒子は、無機微粒子であってもよいし、有機微粒子であってもよいし、無機および有機の性質を兼ね備える樹脂微粒子であってもよいが、形成される書き味向上層12の硬度の観点から、無機微粒子、または、無機および有機の性質を兼ね備える樹脂微粒子が好ましく、形成される書き味向上層12の摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとする観点から、無機および有機の性質を兼ね備える樹脂微粒子が特に好ましい。無機微粒子としては、例えば、シリカ、アルミナ、チタニア、ジルコニア、酸化スズ、酸化インジウム、酸化カドミウム、酸化アンチモン等からなる微粒子が挙げられる。これらの中でも、シリカ微粒子が好ましい。また、無機および有機の性質を兼ね備える樹脂微粒子としては、シリコーン微粒子(例えばモメンティブ・パフォーマンス・マテリアルズ・ジャパン社製のトスパールシリーズ)が特に好ましい。なお、微粒子は、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 上記微粒子は、所望の表面修飾を受けたものであってもよい。また、微粒子の形状は、球状等の定形であってもよく、形状が特定されない不定形であってもよいが、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとする観点から、定形であることが好ましく、特に球状であることが好ましい。
 コーティング組成物中における微粒子の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、0.05質量部以上であることが好ましく、特に0.1質量部以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.2質量部以上であることが好ましい。また、コーティング組成物中における微粒子の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、15質量部以下であることが好ましく、特に9質量部以下であることが好ましく、さらには5質量部以下であることが好ましい。微粒子の含有量が上記範囲であることで、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。
(2-3)表面調整剤
 コーティング組成物が表面調整剤を含有することにより、形成される書き味向上層12において、スジ状の欠点やムラ等の発生が抑制される。これにより、膜厚が均一なものとなり、書き味向上シート1がより優れた外観を呈するものとなる上、所望の光学特性(ヘイズ値および全光線透過率等)を備えるものとなり易い。また、書き味向上シート1の書き味向上層12の表面が良好な面状態となり易いため、書き味向上層12は、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。
 表面調整剤としては、例えば、シリコーン系、フッ素系、アクリル系、ビニル系等の表面調整剤が挙げられ、中でも、表面調整の性能や他の成分との相溶性の観点から、シリコーン系の表面調整剤およびフッ素系の表面調整剤が好ましい。なお、表面調整剤は、1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 シリコーン系の表面調整剤は、ポリジメチルシロキサンまたは変性ポリジメチルシロキサンであることが好ましく、ポリジメチルシロキサンであることが特に好ましい。
 フッ素系の表面調整剤としては、パーフルオロアルキル基またはフッ素化アルケニル基を主鎖または側鎖に有する化合物を好ましく挙げることができる。市販品としては、ビックケミージャパン社製のBYK-340、ネオス社製のフタージェント650A、DIC社製のメガファックRS-75、大阪有機化学工業社製のV-8FM等を好ましく挙げることができるが、これらに限定されるものではない。
 コーティング組成物中における表面調整剤の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、0.01質量部以上であることが好ましく、特に0.1質量部以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.2質量部以上であることが好ましい。また、コーティング組成物中における表面調整剤の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、2質量部以下であることが好ましく、1質量部以下であることがより好ましく、特に0.5質量部以下であることが好ましく、さらには0.3質量部以下であることが好ましい。表面調整剤の含有量が上記範囲であることで、書き味向上シート1の外観を効果的に向上させることができる。また、光学特性(ヘイズ値および全光線透過率等)が前述した範囲に調整されたものとなり易い。さらには、書き味向上層12は、摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または摩擦力の標準偏差をそれぞれ前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなるとともに、摩擦力の動摩擦係数も前述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。
(2-4)シリカナノ粒子
 コーティング組成物がシリカナノ粒子を含有することにより、形成される書き味向上層12の硬度を効果的に向上させることができる。さらには、書き味向上シート1の光学特性(ヘイズ値および全光線透過率等)を前述した範囲に調整し易くなり、書き味向上シート1を使用した際のギラツキの発生を効果的に抑制することが可能となる。
 シリカナノ粒子の平均粒径は、1nm以上であることが好ましく、特に5nm以上であることが好ましく、さらには10nm以上であることが好ましい。また、シリカナノ粒子の平均粒径は、300nm以下であることが好ましく、特に100nm以下であることが好ましく、さらには50nm以下であることが好ましい。なお、シリカナノ粒子の平均粒径は、レーザー回折散乱式粒度分布測定装置によって測定したものとする。
 シリカナノ粒子は、分散性向上等を目的として、有機物によって修飾されてもよい。また、シリカナノ粒子は、オルガノゾル(コロイド状)の形態であることも好ましい。オルガノゾルの形態であることにより、シリカナノ粒子の分散性が良好になり、形成される書き味向上層12の均質性および光透過性が向上する。
 有機物による修飾は、常法によって行うことができる。例えば、CH=C(CH)COO(CHSi(OCHのような構造のシランカップリング剤をシリカナノ粒子のオルガノゾルに加え、50℃程度に加温して数時間攪拌することにより、シリカ粒子の表面を修飾することができる。使用するシランカップリング剤の構造や量は、シリカナノ粒子の分散性の要求度合に応じて適宜選択される。
 上記オルガノゾルの分散溶媒としては、多官能(メタ)アクリレートやレベリング剤との相溶性および書き味向上層12形成時の揮発性に優れたメチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン等が好ましい。
 上記シリカナノ粒子としては、市販されているものを使用することができ、中でも、日産化学社製のオルガノシリカゾルMEK-ST、MIBK-ST等を使用することが好ましい。
 コーティング組成物中におけるシリカナノ粒子の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、5質量部以上であることが好ましく、特に10質量部以上であることが好ましく、さらには15質量部以上であることが好ましい。また、コーティング組成物中におけるシリカナノ粒子の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、50質量部以下であることが好ましく、特に35質量部以下であることが好ましく、さらには25質量部以下であることが好ましい。シリカナノ粒子の含有量が5質量部以上であることで、形成される書き味向上層12の硬度がより効果的に向上するとともに、ギラツキの発生をより効果的に抑制することが可能となる。一方、シリカナノ粒子の配合割合が50質量部以下であることで、シリカナノ粒子の凝集を抑制し、形成される書き味向上層12の均質性および光透過性を良好に維持することができる。
(2-5)その他の成分
 本実施形態におけるコーティング組成物は、上記の成分以外に、各種添加剤を含有してもよい。各種添加剤としては、例えば、光重合開始剤、紫外線吸収剤、酸化防止剤、光安定剤、帯電防止剤、シランカップリング剤、老化防止剤、熱重合禁止剤、着色剤、界面活性剤、保存安定剤、可塑剤、滑剤、消泡剤、有機系充填材、濡れ性改良剤、塗面改良剤等が挙げられる。
 光重合開始剤としては、例えば、ベンゾイン、ベンゾインメチルエーテル、ベンゾインエチルエーテル、ベンゾインイソプロピルエーテル、ベンゾイン-n-ブチルエーテル、ベンゾインイソブチルエーテル、アセトフェノン、ジメチルアミノアセトフェノン、2,2-ジメトキシ-2-フェニルアセトフェノン、2,2-ジエトキシ-2-フェニルアセトフェノン、2-ヒドロキシ-2-メチル-1-フェニルプロパン-1-オン、1-ヒドロキシシクロヘキシルフェニルケトン、2-メチル-1-[4-(メチルチオ)フェニル]-2-モルフォリノ-プロパン-1-オン、4-(2-ヒドロキシエトキシ)フェニル-2(ヒドロキシ-2-プロピル)ケトン、ベンゾフェノン、p-フェニルベンゾフェノン、4,4’-ジエチルアミノベンゾフェノン、ジクロロベンゾフェノン、2-メチルアントラキノン、2-エチルアントラキノン、2-ターシャリ-ブチルアントラキノン、2-アミノアントラキノン、2-メチルチオキサントン、2-エチルチオキサントン、2-クロロチオキサントン、2,4-ジメチルチオキサントン、2,4-ジエチルチオキサントン、ベンジルジメチルケタール、アセトフェノンジメチルケタール、p-ジメチルアミノ安息香酸エステル等が挙げられる。これらは1種を単独で用いてもよいし、2種以上を組み合わせて用いてもよい。
 コーティング組成物中における光重合開始剤の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、1質量部以上であることが好ましく、特に2質量部以上であることが好ましい。また、コーティング組成物中における光重合開始剤の含有量は、硬化性成分100質量部に対して、10質量部以下であることが好ましく、特に5質量部以下であることが好ましい。
(2-6)厚さ
 書き味向上層12の厚さは、0.8μm以上であることが好ましく、特に1μm以上であることが好ましく、さらには1.5μm以上であることが好ましい。また、書き味向上層12の厚さは、20μm以下であることが好ましく、特に15μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには10μm以下であることが好ましい。書き味向上層12の厚さが上記の範囲であることで、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をより良好に再現することが可能となる。
(2-7)ヘイズ値
 書き味向上層12のヘイズ値は、22%以下であることが好ましく、特に16%以下であることが好ましく、さらには12%以下であることが好ましい。書き味向上層12のヘイズ値が22%以下であると、書き味向上シート1の最表面を構成する層のヘイズ値が十分に低下したものとなることにより、表示画像の白茶けの発生を効果的に抑制することが可能となる。一方、書き味向上シート1のヘイズ値を前述した範囲に調整し易いという観点から、書き味向上層12のヘイズ値は、0.01%以上であることが好ましく、特に0.1%以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.2%以上であることが好ましい。なお、書き味向上層12のヘイズ値は、書き味向上シート1のヘイズ値から、書き味向上シート1を構成するその他の層(基材11、後述する粘着剤層等)の個々のヘイズ値を差し引くことで算出することができる。
(3)その他の部材
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1は、書き味向上層12が最表面となる限り、さらに他の層を有していてもよい。例えば、基材11における書き味向上層12とは反対側の面には粘着剤層が形成されてもよいし、さらには粘着剤層に剥離シートが積層されてもよい。
 粘着剤層を構成する粘着剤としては、光学用途として通常使用されるものを使用することができ、例えば、アクリル系粘着剤、ゴム系粘着剤、シリコーン系粘着剤、ウレタン系粘着剤、ポリエステル系粘着剤、ポリビニルエーテル系粘着剤等が挙げられる。これらの中でも、所望の粘着性を発現し、光学特性や耐久性に優れたアクリル系粘着剤が好ましい。
 また、粘着剤層は前述した微粒子を含有しなくてもよいし、含有してもよい。粘着剤層が微粒子を含有しない場合、粘着剤層のヘイズ値は、特に限定されないが、通常、0%以上であることが好ましく、特に0.1%以上であることが好ましく、さらには0.2%以上であることが好ましい。また、微粒子を含有しない粘着剤層のヘイズ値は、30%以下であることが好ましく、特に10%以下であることが好ましく、さらには1%以下であることが好ましい。
 一方、粘着剤層が前述した微粒子を含有する場合、粘着剤層が所望のヘイズ値を有するものとなり、これに伴い、書き味向上シート1のヘイズ値を上述した範囲に調整し易いものとなる。この場合、粘着剤層のヘイズ値は、20%以上であることが好ましく、特に30%以上であることが好ましく、さらには50%以上であることが好ましい。また、微粒子を含有する粘着剤層のヘイズ値は、95%以下であることが好ましく、特に90%以下であることが好ましく、さらには80%以下であることが好ましい。上記ヘイズ値は、JIS K7136:2000に準じて測定されたものであり、その詳細な測定方法は、後述する試験例に記載の通りである。
 粘着剤層の厚さは、5μm以上であることが好ましく、特に10μm以上であることが好ましく、さらには20μm以上であることが好ましい。また、粘着剤層の厚さは、1000μm以下であることが好ましく、500μm以下であることがより好ましく、特に250μm以下であることが好ましいが、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味をより良好に再現する観点、および書き味向上シート1を備えたタッチパネルの総厚を薄くする観点から、100μm以下であることが好ましく、さらには50μm以下であることが好ましく、30μm以下であることが最も好ましい。
3.書き味向上シートの製造方法
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1の製造方法は、書き味向上シート1が前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差または前述した摩擦力の標準偏差を達成できるものとなる限り、特に限定されない。例えば、書き味向上シート1は、前述したコーティング組成物と、所望により溶剤とを含有する塗工液を基材に対して塗布し、硬化させて書き味向上層12を形成することで製造することが好ましい。
 溶剤は、塗工性の改良、粘度調整、固形分濃度の調整等のために使用することができ、硬化性成分等が溶解し、微粒子等が分散するものであれば、特に限定なく使用できる。
 溶剤の具体例としては、メタノール、エタノール、イソプロパノール、ブタノール、オクタノール等のアルコール類;アセトン、メチルエチルケトン、メチルイソブチルケトン、シクロヘキサノン等のケトン類;酢酸エチル、酢酸ブチル、乳酸エチル、γ-ブチロラクトン等のエステル類;エチレングリコールモノメチルエーテル(メチルセロソロブ)、エチレングリコールモノエチルエーテル(エチルセロソロブ)、ジエチレングリコールモノブチルエーテル(ブチルセロソロブ)、プロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテル等のエーテル類;ベンゼン、トルエン、キシレン等の芳香族炭化水素類;ジメチルホルムアミド、ジメチルアセトアミド、N-メチルピロリドン等のアミド類などが挙げられる。
 コーティング組成物の塗工液の塗布は、常法によって行えばよく、例えば、バーコート法、ナイフコート法、ロールコート法、ブレードコート法、ダイコート法、グラビアコート法によって行えばよい。コーティング組成物の塗工液を塗布したら、塗膜を40~120℃で30秒~5分程度乾燥させることが好ましい。
 コーティング組成物が活性エネルギー線硬化性を有する場合、コーティング組成物の硬化は、コーティング組成物の塗膜に対して紫外線、電子線等の活性エネルギー線を照射することによって行う。紫外線照射は、高圧水銀ランプ、フュージョンHランプ、キセノンランプ等によって行うことができ、紫外線の照射量は、照度50~1000mW/cm、光量50~1000mJ/cm程度が好ましく、照度100~500mW/cm、光量100~500mJ/cm程度が特に好ましい。一方、電子線照射は、電子線加速器等によって行うことができ、電子線の照射量は、10~1000krad程度が好ましい。
4.書き味向上シートの使用
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1は、タッチペンが使用されるタッチパネル(位置検出機能付き画像表示装置)の最表層を構成するシートとして使用することができる。具体的には、液晶(LCD)モジュール、発光ダイオード(LED)モジュール、有機エレクトロルミネッセンス(有機EL)モジュール等の表示体モジュールやタッチセンサーなどを有するタッチパネルにおけるカバー材上に積層されて使用されることが好ましい。書き味向上シート1のカバー材への積層は、前述したような粘着剤層を介して貼付することにより行うことが好ましい。
 なお、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1に対して使用されるタッチペンとしては特に限定されず、従来公知のものを使用することができる。例えば、当該タッチペンとして、ポリアセタール製のペン先を有するもの、ハードフェルト製のペン先を有するもの、エラストマー製のペン先を有するもの等を使用することができる。また、タッチペンのペン先の形状は、特に限定されず、ディスク状のもの、円形状のもの、多角形状のもの等から適宜選択することができるが、ボールペンで筆記した際の振動感を得ることができる観点では、円形状のものが好ましい。タッチペンのペン先の形状が円形状である場合、ペン先の直径は、0.1mm以上であることが好ましく、特に0.2mm以上であることが好ましく、さらに0.3mm以上であることが好ましい。また、上記直径は、5mm以下であることが好ましく、特に2mm以下であることが好ましく、さらに1mm以下であることが好ましい。
 本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1は、前述した摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差が前述した範囲であるか、または前述した摩擦力の標準偏差が前述した範囲であることにより、ボールペンで筆記した際の振動感を良好に再現することができる。そのため、本実施形態に係る書き味向上シート1を使用するタッチパネルにおいては、紙にボールペンで筆記した際の書き味を良好に再現することが可能となる。
 以上説明した実施形態は、本発明の理解を容易にするために記載されたものであって、本発明を限定するために記載されたものではない。したがって、上記実施形態に開示された各要素は、本発明の技術的範囲に属する全ての設計変更や均等物をも含む趣旨である。
 例えば、書き味向上シート1における基材11と書き味向上層12との間には、他の層が介在してもよい。
 以下、実施例等により本発明をさらに具体的に説明するが、本発明の範囲はこれらの実施例等に限定されるものではない。
〔製造例1〕
 表1に記載の材料を表2に示す組成にて混合し、コーティング組成物C1~C12を得た。さらに、得られたコーティング組成物をそれぞれプロピレングリコールモノメチルエーテルで希釈し、コーティング組成物C1~C12の塗工液を得た。なお、得られた塗工液の固形分濃度は、それぞれ表2に示す通りである。
〔製造例2〕
 表1に記載の材料を表3に示す組成にて混合し、粘着剤組成物P1~P5を得た。さらに、得られた粘着剤組成物をそれぞれトルエンで希釈し、粘着剤組成物P1~P5の塗工液(固形分濃度:15%)を調製した。
〔実施例1〕
(1)書き味向上層の形成
 基材としての両面に易接着層を有するポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)フィルム(東レ社製,製品名「ルミラーU48」,厚さ125μm)の片面に、マイヤーバーを用いて製造例1にて得られたコーティング組成物C1の塗工液を塗工して塗膜を形成した後、オーブンを用いて70℃で1分間加熱することで上記塗膜を乾燥させた。
 次いで、大気下にて、紫外線照射装置(アイグラフィックス社製,製品名「アイグランテージECS-401GX型」)により下記の条件で紫外線を照射して、上記塗膜を硬化させ、厚さ3μmの書き味向上層を形成した。

・光量:307mJ/cm
(2)粘着剤層の形成
 厚さ38μmのポリエチレンテレフタレートフィルムの片面にシリコーン系の剥離剤層が形成されてなる剥離シート(リンテック社製,製品名「SP-PET381031」)の剥離面に対して、アプリケーターを用いて製造例2にて得られた粘着剤組成物P1の塗工液を塗工して塗膜を形成した。続いて、オーブンを用いて90℃で2分間加熱することで、上記塗膜を乾燥させ、23℃、50%RHの条件下で7日間養生することにより、剥離シート上に厚さ25μmの粘着剤層を形成した。
 なお、上記の通り得られた粘着剤層(厚さ:25μm)単体のヘイズ値を後述する方法により測定したところ、0.3%であった。
(3)書き味向上シートの形成
 上述した工程(1)にて得られた基材と書き味向上層との積層体における基材側の面と、上述した工程(2)にて得られた剥離シートと粘着剤層との積層体における粘着剤層側の面とを貼合することにより、書き味向上層と基材と粘着剤層と剥離シートとがこの順に積層されてなる書き味向上シートを得た。
〔実施例2~16,比較例1~5〕
 使用したコーティング組成物の種類、書き味向上層の厚さ、および使用した粘着剤組成物の種類を表4に示すように変更する以外、実施例1と同様にして書き味向上シートを作製した。なお、使用した粘着剤組成物の種類を変更したことに伴い、粘着剤層のヘイズ値は表4に記載した通りとなった。
〔試験例1〕(ヘイズ値および全光線透過率の測定)
 実施例および比較例と同様にして、剥離シートと粘着剤層(厚さ:25μm)との積層体を得た。当該積層体における粘着剤層側の面をガラス板(縦70mm,横150mm,厚さ1.2mm)に貼合した。次いで、剥離シートを剥がし、これを測定用サンプルとした。そして、ガラス板単独でバックグラウンド測定を行った上で、上記測定用サンプルについて、JIS K7136:2000に準じて、ヘイズメーター(日本電色工業社製,製品名「NDH-5000」)を用いて、粘着剤層のヘイズ値(%)を測定した。結果を表4に示す。
 また、実施例および比較例で製造した書き味向上シートから剥離シートを剥離し、露出した粘着剤層の露出面をガラス板(縦70mm,横150mm,厚さ1.2mm)に貼合し、これを測定用サンプルとした。そして、ガラス板単独でバックグラウンド測定を行った上で、当該測定用サンプルについて、ヘイズメーター(日本電色工業社製,製品名「NDH-5000」)を用いて、JIS K7136:2000に準じて、書き味向上シートのヘイズ値(%)を測定するとともに、JIS K7361-1:1997に準じて書き味向上シートの全光線透過率(%)を測定した。結果を表4に示す。
 なお、実施例および比較例に係る書き味向上シートの製造に使用した基材について、JIS K7136:2000に準じて、ヘイズメーター(日本電色工業社製,製品名「NDH-5000」)を用いてヘイズ値(%)を測定したところ、0.8%という値となった。
〔試験例2〕(表面粗さの測定)
 実施例および比較例にて製造した書き味向上シートにおける書き味向上層側の面について、算術平均表面粗さRa(μm)および十点平均表面粗さRzjis(μm)を、接触型粗さ計(ミツトヨ社製,製品名「SV3000S4」)を使用し、JIS B0601:2013に準拠して測定した。結果を表4に示す。
〔試験例3〕(摩擦測定)
(1)摩擦力の測定
 実施例および比較例で製造した書き味向上シートから剥離シートを剥離し、露出した粘着剤層の露出面をガラス板(縦70mm,横150mm,厚さ1.2mm)に貼合した。次いで、当該ガラス板を、書き味向上シートを貼合した面が上側となるように、静動摩擦測定機(トリニティーラボ社製,製品名「トライボマスターTL201Ts」)の測定専用台車に設置した。なお、上記測定専用台車は、上記静動摩擦測定機の使用に伴って、上記ガラス板の設置面の水平を保ったまま、所定の方向に往復移動するものとなっている。
 続いて、書き味向上層の表面に対してペン先が接触するように、タッチペンを上記静動摩擦測定機に固定した。このとき、タッチペンと上記表面とがなす角度が45°となるように、タッチペンを傾斜させて固定した。また、そのときの傾斜させる方向は、測定専用台車の往復移動の方向と平行となるようにした。
 なお、上述したタッチペンとしては、表4に示すものを使用した。なお、表4中における略号の詳細は、次の通りである。
 POM:ポリアセタール製のペン先を有するタッチペン(ワコム社製,製品名「ACK-2001」,ペン先の直径:0.5mm)
 フェルト:ハードフェルト製のペン先を有するタッチペン(ワコム社製,製品名「ACK-2003」,ペン先の直径:0.5mm)
 エラストマー:エラストマー製のペン先を有するタッチペン(ワコム社製,製品名「ACK-2004」,ペン先の直径:0.5mm)
 続いて、タッチペンに対して荷重200gの加圧条件で荷重を印加した状態で、上述した測定専用台車を1.6mm/秒の速度で移動させることで、タッチペンを書き味向上層の表面上で摺動させた。これにより、タッチペンのペン先と書き味向上層の表面との間で生じる摩擦力(mN)を測定した。なお、測定専用台車の移動の方向は、上記摺動により書き味向上層の表面に生じるペン先の軌跡と、タッチペンとのなす角度が45°となる方向(すなわち、書き味向上層の表面において、タッチペンのペン先が突き進むように摺動する方向)とした。また、測定は、摺動距離が100mm以上となるまで続けるとともに、測定値を50m秒ごとに取得するものとした。
 上述のようにして得られた一連の摩擦力(mN)のうち、摺動距離が10mmの地点から100mmの地点の間において測定された摩擦力について、平均値を算出するとともに、最大値および最小値を特定した。これらの結果を表4に示す。また、当該最大値から当該最小値を減じて、摩擦力の差を算出した。この結果も表4に示す。
 さらに、摺動距離が10mmである地点から20mmである地点の間において測定された摩擦力について、摩擦力の標準偏差を算出した。結果を表4に示す。
(2)動摩擦係数の測定
 上記工程(1)と同様の測定装置および測定条件にて、動摩擦係数を測定した。さらに、測定専用台車の移動速度を16.7mm/秒に変更した以外は上記工程(1)と同様の測定装置および測定条件にて、動摩擦係数を測定した。これらの結果を表4に示す。
(3)参考例の測定
 参考として、紙にボールペンで筆記した場合(参考例1)および紙に鉛筆で筆記した場合(参考例2)についての摩擦力および動摩擦係数を、上記工程(1)および(2)と同様に測定した。これらの結果も表4に示す。
 なお、使用した紙、ボールペンおよび鉛筆の詳細は、次の通りである。
 紙:コクヨ社製,製品名「キャンパスルーズリーフ」,型番:ノ-S816B,サイズ:B5,罫幅:B罫,20枚重ねにして使用
 ボールペン:BIC社製,製品名「オレンジEG 1.0」,油性ボールペン,ペン先の直径:1.0mm
 鉛筆:三菱鉛筆社製,製品名「ユニ」,芯の硬度:HB
〔試験例4〕(書き味の評価)
 実施例および比較例で製造した書き味向上シートから剥離シートを剥離し、露出した粘着剤層の露出面をガラス板(縦70mm,横150mm,厚さ1.2mm)に貼合した。その書き味向上層表面に対し、評価者が、試験例3にて使用したスタイラスペンを使用し、模擬的に所定の筆記作業をして、以下の書き味を評価した。結果を表4に示す。
(1)振動感
 紙にボールペンで筆記した際の振動感を再現できているかを、以下の基準に基づいて評価した。
 A:非常に良好に振動感を再現できた。
 B+:振動感が少し大きいが、良好に再現できた。
 B-:振動感が少し小さいが、良好に再現できた。
 C+:振動感が大き過ぎ、良好に再現することはできなかった。
 C-:振動感が小さ過ぎ、良好に再現することはできなかった。
(2)抵抗感
 紙にボールペンで筆記した際の抵抗感(=摩擦の程度)を再現できているかを、以下の基準に基づいて評価した。
 A:非常に良好に抵抗感を再現できた。
 B+:抵抗感が少し大きいが、良好に再現できた。
 B-:抵抗感が少し小さいが、良好に再現できた。
 C+:抵抗感が大き過ぎ、良好に再現することはできなかった。
 C-:抵抗感が小さ過ぎ、良好に再現することはできなかった。
〔試験例5〕(ギラツキの評価)
 実施例および比較例で製造した書き味向上シートから剥離シートを剥離し、露出した粘着剤層の露出面をタブレット端末(アップル社製,製品名「iPad(登録商標)」,解像度:264ppi)の表示画面の表面に貼合した。その後、タブレット端末を全面緑色表示(RGB値(R,G,B)=0,255,0)とした状態で、目視によりギラツキの有無を確認した。その結果に基づいて、以下の基準にてギラツキの評価を行った。結果を表4に示す。
 A:ギラツキが殆ど確認されなかった。
 B:多少のギラツキが生じたものの、実用上問題ない程度のギラツキであった。
 C:著しくギラツキが生じた。
〔試験例6〕(耐擦傷性の評価)
 実施例および比較例で製造した書き味向上シートにおける書き味向上層側の表面(書き味向上層の表面)について、#0000のスチールウールを用いて、250g/cmの荷重で10cm、10往復擦った。その書き味向上層の表面を、3波長蛍光灯下で目視により確認し、以下の基準で耐擦傷性を評価した。結果を表4に示す。
 A:傷が確認されなかった。
 B:数本程度の傷が確認された。
 C:全面に傷が確認された。
〔試験例7〕(白茶け性の評価)
 実施例および比較例で製造した書き味向上シートから剥離シートを剥離し、露出した粘着剤層の露出面をタブレット端末(アップル社製,製品名「iPad(登録商標)」,解像度:264ppi)の表示画面の表面に貼合した。そして、タブレット端末の表示画面を全面黒表示とし、目視により画像の白茶けの有無を確認し、以下の基準で白茶け性を評価した。結果を表4に示す。
 A:白茶けが確認されなかった。
 B:実用上問題ないレベルで、白茶けが確認された。
 C:実用上問題が生じるレベルで、白茶けが確認された。
〔試験例8〕(表面形状の測定)
 実施例4、6および14~16で製造した書き味向上フィルムの書き味向上層の表面について、光干渉式表面形状観察装置(Veeco社製,製品名「WYKO-1100」)を使用し、垂直走査干渉測定法(VSIモード)により、50倍率にて観察画像を複数取得した。そして、得られた複数の観察画像をつなぎ合わせることで、観察エリアが500μm四方である観察画像を得た。このようにして得られた観察画像のうち、実施例4に係る観察画像を図3に示し、実施例14に係る観察画像を図4に示す。なお、これらの図では、得られた観察画像を、書き味向上層の表面を斜め上から見下ろすように表示している。また、本試験例においては、高さが1.0μm以下の領域を平坦部とし、高さが1.0μmを超える領域を突起部とした。
 続いて、上記の通り得られた観察エリア500μm四方の観察画像をコピー用紙に印刷した。このとき、書き味向上層の表面を平面視した状態となるように、観察画像を印刷した。そして、印刷されたコピー用紙から、観察エリア500μm四方の観察画像が印刷された領域のみを切り出し、当該観察エリアが印刷されたコピー用紙の質量(g)を測定した(この質量を「観察エリア質量」とする。)。さらに、当該観察エリアが印刷されたコピー用紙から、前述した平坦部(高さが1.0μm以下の領域)のみを切り出し、これにより得られた、平坦部に相当するコピー用紙の断片の質量(g)を測定した(この質量を「平坦部質量」とする。)。そして、以下の式により、書き味向上層の表面における平坦部の割合(%)を算出した。その結果を表4に示す。
 (平坦部の割合)=(平坦部質量)/(観察エリア質量)×100
 また、上記の通り得られた観察エリア500μm四方の観察画像を、書き味向上層の表面を平面視するように表示した状態で、平坦部の内接円(平坦部中に存在する正円であって、突起部に外接して突起部を含まない正円)を想定し、それらの内接円のうち半径が最大となるものを特定した。このようにして特定された平坦部内接円の最大半径(μm)を表4に示す。
 さらに、上記の通り得られた観察エリア500μm四方の観察画像において、突起の数を数えた。この時、高さが1μm超、5μm以下である突起の数と、高さが5μm超の突起の数とを区別して数えた。それらの結果を表4に示す。
〔試験例9〕(ペン先の摩耗量の測定)
 実施例4および実施例15で製造した書き味向上シートから剥離シートを剥離し、露出した粘着剤層の露出面をガラス板(縦70mm,横150mm,厚さ1.2mm)に貼合した。次いで、当該ガラス板を、書き味向上シートを貼合した面が上側となるように、耐久試験機(タッチパネル研究所社製)に設置した。
 続いて、書き味向上層の表面にペン先が接触するように、タッチペンを上記耐久試験機に固定した。このとき、タッチペンと上記表面とがなす角度が90°となるようにタッチペンを固定した。なお、タッチペンとしては、ハードフェルト製のペン先を有するタッチペン(ワコム社製,製品名「ACK-2003」,ペン先の直径:0.5mm)を使用した。また、耐久試験機に固定する前において、タッチペンのペン先の長さを測定し、記録しておいた。
 その後、タッチペンに対して荷重300gの加圧条件で荷重を印加した状態で、100mm/秒の速度にてタッチペンを書き味向上層の表面上で移動させた。このとき、書き味向上層の表面上において、一辺が10mmの正方形の四辺を順になぞるようにタッチペンを移動させた。そして、当該正方形を5万回なぞることが完了した時点で、耐久試験機を停止した。
 続いて、試験後のタッチペンを耐久試験機から取り外し、ペン先の長さを測定した。そして、上述の通り記録しておいた、試験前のペン先の長さから、試験後のペン先の長さを減じ、ペン先の摩耗量(mm)を算出した。その結果、実施例4におけるペン先の摩耗量は0.8mm、実施例15におけるペン先の摩耗量は1.8mmであった。

 表4から明らかなように、実施例で製造した書き味向上シートは、タッチペンによる書き味に優れるとともに、耐擦傷性に優れるものであった。さらに、実施例で製造した一部の書き味向上シートは、ギラツキの発生も抑制されていた。
 本発明の書き味向上シートは、タッチペンが使用されるタッチパネルの最表層として好適に用いられる。

Claims (5)

  1.  基材と、タッチペンが接触する書き味向上層とを備えた書き味向上シートであって、
     前記書き味向上層のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、前記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、前記タッチペンと前記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、前記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させたときに、摺動距離が10mmの地点から100mmの地点の間において測定される、前記ペン先と前記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の最大値と最小値との差が、80mN以上、300mN以下であることを特徴とする書き味向上シート。
  2.  基材と、タッチペンが接触する書き味向上層とを備えた書き味向上シートであって、
     前記書き味向上層のタッチペンが接触する表面に対し、直径0.5mmのペン先を有するタッチペンの当該ペン先を接触させた後、前記タッチペンに対して200gの荷重を印加するとともに、前記タッチペンと前記表面とがなす角度を45°に維持しながら、前記タッチペンを速度1.6mm/秒で直線的に摺動させたときに、摺動距離が10mmの地点から20mmの地点の間において測定される、前記ペン先と前記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の標準偏差が、15mN以上、60mN以下であることを特徴とする書き味向上シート。
  3.  摺動距離が10mmの地点から100mmの地点の間において測定される、前記タッチペンと前記表面との間に生じる摩擦力の平均値が、200mN以上、1200mN以下であることを特徴とする請求項1または2に記載の書き味向上シート。
  4.  前記基材における前記書き味向上層とは反対の面側に、粘着剤層を備えることを特徴とする請求項1~3に記載の書き味向上シート。
  5.  前記書き味向上シートのヘイズ値が、25%以上であることを特徴とする請求項1~4のいずれか一項に記載の書き味向上シート。
