Description

BLADE - FILTER KIT DEVELOPED TO BE USED FOR FAT TRANSFER
Technical Field
The invention is related to a kit which is used in a variety of surgical fields, primarily in aesthetic surgery, for breaking down and sizing of adipose/fat tissue extracted by liposuction/lipoaspiration procedures.
The invention is particularly related to a fat tissue breaking kit comprising a bladed filter comprising pores having honeycomb shape that is used to filter the fat in less number of processes in comparison/relative to, the mesh type filters that are currently being used, in order suitably size the filtered fat tissue.
Prior Art
Lipo-injection, is the process of extracting fat obtained from a different area of the body in order to inject said fat to the area that is desired to be provided volume on the same person, by processing the extracted fat with special processes and applications. The operation can be carried out in three main steps which are harvesting the fat cells, preparation by breaking down, sizing of fat in order to make reinjection of the adipose tissue.
Fat is one of the most tolerated filler agents used by aesthetic-plastic surgeons and due to this reason it is vastly used in many application fields. The injected fat cells continue to live in their new living space and they act as cushioning the tissue. If the fat cells are dead to be injected, the filler/cushioning effect is lost; due to this reason processes and apparatus which minimally damage the fat cells during the time that passes from the extraction of fat until the injection of it should be used.
In the prior art fat sizing/separation devices are used, to break down and re-size the fat obtained from certain areas of the body, in order to prepare the fat for injection. As an example to the mentioned devices the American patent application numbered US2016333305A1 has been encountered in literature. In the application a fat sizing device is disclosed which comprises an inlet, an outlet, a passage way which extends between the inlet and the outlet, at least two filter elements having spaces different from each other that have been placed inside the passageway and a slot suitable for the insertion of the injector that can be placed in the inlet. In said device, the filter elements have been serially positioned; the first filter element has a first mesh width and the second filter element has a second mesh width size that can be smaller than the first mesh width.
In the Chinese utility model application numbered CN207659440U, a device having a cover body and a cylinder body that has been developed to be used in human fat transplantations in order to separate and purify fat particles, is disclosed. The inner section of said cylinder is configured with three filters, wherein the three filters divide de cylinder body into four divisional sections from the top towards the bottom. The pore diameters of the filters decrease from the top towards the bottom and the pore diameters are respectively 2, 8-3, 2 mm, 1 ,8-2, 2 mm and 0,4-0, 8 mm.
The devices mentioned in the above applications comprise a plurality of filters and the mesh structure of the filters necessitates several filtering processes to be carried out. Therefore the installation, application, workmanship of the device, leads to disadvantages such as waste of time and higher costs.
As a result, due to the disadvantages and shortcoming mentioned above, a need to provide a novelty in the related technical field has risen.
Aim of the Invention
The present invention is related to a bladed filter kit which is developed to be used in fat transfer and which meets all of the requirements mentioned above, eliminates all of these disadvantages and brings about certain additional advantages.
The main aim of the invention, bring the fat harvested from the patient to a suitable size, by means of the bladed filter comprising honeycomb shaped pores, by using less number of filtering processes in comparison/relative to the mesh filters that are presently being used.
As the honeycomb shape is the most suitable form that can be used to cover a certain area at a maximum amount, and as more pores can be provided on the filter; higher amounts of fat can be broken down in each filtering process.
The aim of the invention is to carry out the breaking down process with a single filter instead of the plurality filters that are usually used. The aim of the invention is to ensure significant time gain in terms of workmanship carried out during installation and application in comparison to similar previously used devices.
The aim of the invention is to set forth a device which provides lower costs and practical usage in sizing of fat by breaking down the fat after said fat is removed from the same patient, in order to be used in the desired area of the body of a patient to provide volume and plumpness. In order to provide the aims mentioned above, the invention is a fat breaking kit to be used in different surgical fields, primarily in esthetic surgeries, which comprises a female element that enables the inflow of the fat that has been harvested from the patient by liposuction/lipoaspiration procedures, into the fat breaking kit and a male element which allows the outflow of fat that has been broken down and brought to suitable size characterized by comprising
• a filter having a bladed structure comprising honeycomb shaped pores, used to re size the fat to suitable sizes by performing lesser number of filtering processes in comparison/relative to the mesh structured filters that are currently being used.
The mentioned honeycomb shape, in order to reach the aims of the invention has a hexagonal or pentagonal geometry.
In order to reach the aims of the invention, flaps have been provided distal to the center on each side of said pores.
In order to reach the aims of the invention said pores have a diameter between 50-2400 microns.
The structural and characteristic features of the invention and all of its aims shall be clearly understood by means of the detailed description provided below; therefore in an evaluation is to be carried out, it should be carried out by taking this detailed description into consideration.

Description of the Invention
In this detailed description the fat breaking kit (10) that is used in different surgical fields; primarily in esthetic surgery, for breaking down and sizing the fat extracted by liposuction/lipoaspiration procedures, is described below in order to provide better understanding of the subject but without having any limiting effect.
The mounted/dismounted view of the fat breaking kit (10) illustrated in Figure 1 basically is formed of a female element (11) which enables the inflow of fat harvested from the patient by liposuction/lipoaspiration procedures into the fat breaking kit (10), a filter having a bladed structure (12) comprising honeycomb shaped pores (122) in order to resize the fat using less number of filtering processes in comparison/relative to the mesh structured filters that are currently being used, and a male element (13) which allows the outflow of the fat that has been broken down and brought to a suitable size. On the female element (11) and the male element (13) a connection element (14) that is suitable for the insertion of an injector/syringe is positioned. The coupling of the female element (11) to the male element (13) is provided by means of the ribbed structure formed inside the inner section (111) of the female element (11) and the outer section (131) of the male element (13). The bottom perspective view of the female element (11) has been illustrated in Figure 2 and the bottom perspective view of the male element (13) has been illustrated in Figure 3.
In Figure 4, the filter (12) having a bladed structure which has been illustrated in detail as a plan view, is coupled to the filter seal (121); and by means of said filter seal (121) it is positioned between the female element (11) and the male element (13).
Filter (12) having a bladed structure is formed of honeycomb shaped pores (122), where said shape can have a hexagonal or pentagonal geometry. On each side of the pores (122) flaps (1221) that are distal to the center have been provided and the diameters of said pores are between 50-2400 microns.
As the honeycomb form is the most suitable shape for covering a certain area at a maximum amount, and as higher number of pores can be provided on the filter, higher amounts of fat can be broken down in each filtering process. As a result lesser number of filtering processes is carried out to suitably size the fat removed from the patient, in comparison/relative to the mesh structured filters that are currently being used.
The fat breaking kit (10) subject to the invention can be used to break down fat tissue which is the preparation step of the method for obtaining stem cells from fat tissues. The broken down fat is subjected to centrifuge and the stem cells are separated and precipitated.
