Description
本開示は、加飾フィルム、成形体、成形体の製造方法、被加飾体の加飾方法、積層体、及び積層体の製造方法に関する。
紙、木材、樹脂、金属、ガラス等の基材表面に対して色彩、模様、金属光沢等の種々の装飾を施す方法として、加飾フィルムを用いる加飾方法が知られている。加飾フィルムを用いる加飾方法としては、例えば、金型内で加飾フィルム及び被加飾体の原料樹脂を一体成形する方法(通常、「インサート成形」と称される。)、加飾フィルムと被加飾体とを貼り合わせる方法等が知られている。また、加飾フィルムを用いる装飾技術は、製造工程における二酸化炭素(CO2)、揮発性有機化合物(VOC)等の低減などの観点から、従来の塗装技術に代わる技術としても注目されている。このため、種々の装飾が施された加飾フィルムが提案されている。例えば、金属を含有する層を設けることで、加飾フィルムに金属調の装飾を施すことができる。
例えば、基材フィルムの一方の面上に、平板状の金属粒子を含む金属含有層を有する加飾フィルムが知られている(国際公開第2018/110421号参照)。
金属を含有する層を有する加飾フィルムは、優れた光沢を有する外観を提供することができる。しかしながら、上記加飾フィルムの外観においては、太陽光の下で、ぎらつきが視認されることがあり、また、白みを帯びた様相が視認されることがある。白みを帯びた様相が視認されると、例えば本来の色調(例えば、金属調)よりも彩度の低い色調として認識されるため、加飾フィルム本来の美観を損なう場合がある。
また、加飾フィルム本来の美観を維持するために、外力が局所的に与えられた場合に欠け及び剥がれ等が生じにくい性質を有することが求められる。

耐チッピング性とは、細石(例:砕石、砂、砂利等)などの小さい粒子が衝突する等することで加飾フィルムの表面に局所的に外力が与えられた際に、加飾フィルムの表面に付く傷等(例えば、クラック、剥がれ)の拡がり難さのことをいう。
<加飾フィルム>
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、粒子を含有する保護層(以下、単に「保護層」ということがある。)と、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層(以下、「金属粒子層」ということがある。)と、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層の保護層を有する側と反対側に配置された粘着層(以下、単に「粘着層」ということがある。)と、を有し、粘着層の弾性率Eは105Pa~107Paの範囲とされている。すなわち、本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、上記保護層と、上記金属粒子層と、上記粘着層と、をこの順で有する。

本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、ぎらつき及び白み感が低減された色調を発現することができ、細石等が衝突するなどして局所的に外力が与えられた場合に加飾フィルムの外形が損われない耐チッピング性を有している。本開示に係る加飾フィルムが上記効果を奏する理由は明らかではないものの、以下のように推察される。
まず、ぎらつき及び白み感の低減に関して説明する。
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、上記金属粒子層と上記保護層とを有するため、加飾フィルムの表面で反射される光、及び保護層を通過して金属粒子層で反射される光の両方を拡散することができる。そして、知覚色における白みを相対的に小さくし、加飾フィルム本来の色調を相対的に大きくすることができる。したがって、本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、ぎらつき及び白み感が低減された色調を発現することができると考えられる。
次に、耐チッピング性に関して説明する。
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、上記金属粒子層と上記粘着層とを有するため、加飾フィルムに局所的に応力が加わった場合に加えられた応力を分散、吸収することができる。つまり、加飾フィルムに局所的に応力が加わっても、金属粒子層中の平板状の金属粒子と粘着層の弾性とが相乗的に作用することで、局所的に加わる応力が表面で分散、吸収されるので、耐チッピング性が向上するものと考えられる。
まず、ぎらつき及び白み感の低減に関して説明する。
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、上記金属粒子層と上記保護層とを有するため、加飾フィルムの表面で反射される光、及び保護層を通過して金属粒子層で反射される光の両方を拡散することができる。そして、知覚色における白みを相対的に小さくし、加飾フィルム本来の色調を相対的に大きくすることができる。したがって、本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、ぎらつき及び白み感が低減された色調を発現することができると考えられる。
次に、耐チッピング性に関して説明する。
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、上記金属粒子層と上記粘着層とを有するため、加飾フィルムに局所的に応力が加わった場合に加えられた応力を分散、吸収することができる。つまり、加飾フィルムに局所的に応力が加わっても、金属粒子層中の平板状の金属粒子と粘着層の弾性とが相乗的に作用することで、局所的に加わる応力が表面で分散、吸収されるので、耐チッピング性が向上するものと考えられる。
[金属粒子層]
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層を有する。平板状の金属粒子を含有する層を有することで、反射光を拡散できるため、ぎらつきを低減することができる。また、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層を有することで、応力を分散できるため、耐チッピング性を向上させることができる。
金属粒子層は、金属粒以外に、更に、バインダー、有機溶剤、及び添加剤等の他の成分を含有することができる。
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層を有する。平板状の金属粒子を含有する層を有することで、反射光を拡散できるため、ぎらつきを低減することができる。また、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層を有することで、応力を分散できるため、耐チッピング性を向上させることができる。
金属粒子層は、金属粒以外に、更に、バインダー、有機溶剤、及び添加剤等の他の成分を含有することができる。
(平板状の金属粒子)
平板状の金属粒子(以下、単に「金属粒子」ということがある。)は、2つの対向する主平面を有する金属粒子である。
平板状の金属粒子(以下、単に「金属粒子」ということがある。)は、2つの対向する主平面を有する金属粒子である。
金属粒子は、1種の金属元素からなる単体の金属粒子であってもよく、2種以上の金属元素を含む金属粒子であってもよく、少なくとも1種の金属元素を含む合金の金属粒子であってもよい。また、金属粒子は、コア-シェル構造等の多層構造を有する金属粒子であってもよい。
金属粒子を構成する金属元素としては、例えば、アルミニウム(Al)、金(Au)、白金(Pt)、銀(Ag)、銅(Cu)、錫(Sn)、インジウム(In)等が挙げられる。上記の中でも、金属粒子を構成する金属元素としては、アルミニウム(Al)が好ましい。金属粒子を構成する金属元素は、1種単独で用いられてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いられてもよい。
上記の中でも、金属粒子としては、アルミニウム粒子が好ましい。
金属粒子の平均粒子径は、0.1μm~50μmであることが好ましく、5μm~20μmであることがより好ましい。金属粒子の平均粒子径は、粒度分布において体積累積が50%の粒子径であり、レーザー回折・散乱式粒子径分布測定装置を用いて測定することができる。
金属粒子の主平面の形状としては、制限されず、例えば、六角形状、三角形状、円形状等が挙げられる。
金属粒子は、1種単独で用いられてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いられてもよい。
金属粒子の含有量は、金属粒子層の全質量に対して、5質量%~80質量%であることが好ましく、10質量%~30質量%であることがより好ましい。
金属粒子は、加飾フィルムの美観の観点から、蒸着したアルミニウム膜を粉砕して得られる、蒸着アルミニウム粒子を用いることが好ましい。蒸着アルミニウム粒子は、高反射率及び高平滑性であることから、光輝性の高いフィルムを得ることができる。
(バインダー)
金属粒子層のバインダーとしては、特に種類等に制限はなく、公知の樹脂を適用することができる。
樹脂としては、例えば、シロキサン樹脂、アクリル樹脂、エステル樹脂、ウレタン樹脂、カーボネート樹脂、オレフィン樹脂、スチレン樹脂、アクリロニトリル-スチレン-ブタジエン樹脂、アクリロニトリル-スチレン樹脂、セルロース樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、フッ素系樹脂等が挙げられる。樹脂は、特定の単量体の単独重合体であってもよく、特定の単量体と他の単量体との共重合体であってもよい。
金属粒子層のバインダーとしては、特に種類等に制限はなく、公知の樹脂を適用することができる。
樹脂としては、例えば、シロキサン樹脂、アクリル樹脂、エステル樹脂、ウレタン樹脂、カーボネート樹脂、オレフィン樹脂、スチレン樹脂、アクリロニトリル-スチレン-ブタジエン樹脂、アクリロニトリル-スチレン樹脂、セルロース樹脂、ポリ塩化ビニル、ポリイミド、ポリアミド、フッ素系樹脂等が挙げられる。樹脂は、特定の単量体の単独重合体であってもよく、特定の単量体と他の単量体との共重合体であってもよい。
(添加剤)
金属粒子層は、添加剤を含有していてもよい。
添加剤としては、例えば、増粘剤、ラジカル開始剤、レベリング剤、チクソ剤等が挙げられる。

分散剤の重量平均分子量は、1,000~5,000,000であることが好ましく、2,000~3,000,000であることがより好ましく、2,500~3,000,000であることが特に好ましい。重量平均分子量が1,000以上であると、着色剤の分散性がより向上する。
分散剤としては、市販品を用いてもよい。市販品としては、BASFジャパン社のEFKA 4300(アクリル系高分子分散剤)、花王株式会社製のホモゲノールL-18、ホモゲノールL-95、ホモゲノールL-100、日本ルーブリゾール株式会社製の、ソルスパース20000、ソルスパース24000、ビックケミー・ジャパン株式会社製の、DISPERBYK-110、DISPERBYK-164、DISPERBYK-180、DISPERBYK-182等が挙げられる。なお、「ホモゲノール」、「ソルスパース」、及び「DISPERBYK」はいずれも登録商標である。
分散剤は、1種単独で用いられてもよく、2種以上を組み合わせて用いられてもよい。
着色層中の分散剤の含有量は、着色剤100質量部に対して、1質量部~30質量部であることが好ましい。

着色層形成用組成物の調製方法としては、例えば、有機溶剤と、着色剤等の着色層に含まれる成分と、を混合する方法等が挙げられる。また、着色層形成用組成物が着色剤として顔料を含む場合、顔料の均一分散性、及び、分散安定性をより高める観点から、顔料と分散剤とを含む顔料分散液を用いて、着色層形成用組成物を調製することが好ましい。
[樹脂基材]
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、樹脂基材を有していてもよい。樹脂基材を有することで、加飾フィルムの成形加工適性を向上させることができる。樹脂基材は、保護層と粘着層との間に配置されることが好ましい。樹脂基材が保護層と粘着層との間に配置される場合、樹脂基材は、保護層と金属粒子層との間に配置されていてもよく、金属粒子層と粘着層との間に配置されていてもよい。
本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、樹脂基材を有していてもよい。樹脂基材を有することで、加飾フィルムの成形加工適性を向上させることができる。樹脂基材は、保護層と粘着層との間に配置されることが好ましい。樹脂基材が保護層と粘着層との間に配置される場合、樹脂基材は、保護層と金属粒子層との間に配置されていてもよく、金属粒子層と粘着層との間に配置されていてもよい。
樹脂基材としては、例えば、ポリエチレンテレフタレート(PET)、ポリエチレンナフタレート(PEN)、アクリル樹脂、ポリウレタン、ウレタンアクリル樹脂、ポリカーボネート(PC)、トリアセチルセルロース(TAC)、シクロオレフィンポリマー(COP)、アクリロニトリル/ブタジエン/スチレン共重合樹脂(ABS樹脂)、ポリプロピレン等の樹脂基材が挙げられる。
上記の中でも、樹脂基材としては、成形加工適性及び強度の観点から、ポリエチレンテレフタレート、アクリル樹脂、ポリウレタン、ウレタンアクリル樹脂、ポリカーボネート、及びポリプロピレンからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の樹脂基材が好ましく、アクリル樹脂、及びポリカーボネートからなる群より選択される少なくとも1種の樹脂基材が好ましい。

樹脂基材としては、市販品を用いてもよい。市販品としては、例えば、テクノロイ(登録商標)シリーズ(アクリル樹脂フィルム、アクリル樹脂/ポリカーボネート積層フィルム、住友化学株式会社製)、ABSフィルム(オカモト株式会社製)、ABSシート(積水成形工業株式会社製)、テフレックス(登録商標)シリーズ(PETフィルム、帝人フィルムソリューション株式会社製)、ルミラー(登録商標)易成形タイプ(PETフィルム、東レ株式会社製)、ピュアサーモ(ポリプロピレンフィルム、出光ユニテック株式会社製)等が挙げられる。
樹脂基材の25℃の延伸率は、10%以上であることが好ましい。25℃の延伸率が10%以上である樹脂基材を用いることで、応力を吸収できるため破断を抑制することができる。
樹脂基材の延伸率は、以下の方法によって測定することができる。
長さ1cm、幅5cmの試験片を準備する。テンシロン万能試験機(RTF-1350、株式会社エー・アンド・デイ製)を用いて、雰囲気温度25℃、引張速度1000mm/分で試験片を引っ張る。破断時の試験片の長さを測定し、以下の式に基づいて延伸率を算出する。

本開示に係る加飾フィルムは、粘着層を有する。粘着層は、平板粒子層の保護層を有する側と反対側に配置され、かつ、弾性率が105Pa~107Paの範囲内であることで、加飾フィルムにかかる衝撃応力を分散、吸収する。結果、耐チッピング性が向上する。
弾性率は、下記の方法により測定される値である。
サンプルを温度23℃、相対湿度50%の条件で24時間調湿した後、長さ30mm、幅10mmにカットして、引張試験機により引張り速度10mm/minの条件で測定する。引張試験機としては、例えば、テンシロン(A&Dカンパニー社製)を用いることができる。

粘着層の厚みは、耐チッピング性、接着力、及び取扱性の観点から、0.5μm~100μmが好ましく、5μm~80μmがより好ましく、20μm~55μmが更に好ましい。粘着層の厚みは、断面視において、3か所で測定される厚みの算術平均である。
本開示では、粘着層の厚みが20μm~55μmであり、かつ、弾性率が105Pa~107Paの範囲内にある場合が特に好ましい。
(粘着層の形成方法)
粘着層の形成方法としては、制限されず、粘着層が形成されたカバーフィルムをラミネートする方法、粘着層を単独でラミネートする方法、粘着剤を含む組成物を塗布する方法等が挙げられる。ラミネート方法及び塗布方法としては、制限されず、公知の方法を適用することができる。

(インサート成形)
以下、加飾フィルムを成形する工程の一例として、被加飾体の原料として樹脂を用いるインサート成形について説明する。

インサート成形においては、金型内で加飾フィルム及び被加飾体の原料樹脂を一体成形することで、加飾フィルムの成形及び被加飾体の形成を同時に行うことができる。
インサート成形は、射出成形用の金型内に、加飾フィルムを配置して型閉めを行う工程と、溶融樹脂を金型内に射出する工程と、溶融樹脂の固化後に中間成形体を取り出す工程と、を含む。
射出成形用の金型は、凸形状を有する金型(すなわち、雄型)と、凸形状に対応する凹形状を有する金型(すなわち、雌型)と、を備えている。雌型の内周面となる成形面に加飾フィルムを配置した後に、型閉めを行う。
加飾フィルムを配置して型閉めを行う工程においては、予備成形(プレフォーム)によって三次元形状を付与された加飾フィルムを用いてもよい。
金型の型閉めを行った後、金型内に溶融樹脂を射出する。射出時には、加飾フィルムの保護層が設けられた側とは反対側に溶融樹脂を射出する。
溶融樹脂の温度は、樹脂の物性、重合開始剤の種類等に応じて適宜選択することができる。例えば、アクリル樹脂を使用する場合、溶融樹脂の温度は、240℃~260℃の範囲に調節することが好ましい。
溶融樹脂が固化した後、成形の型開きを行い、金型から、溶融樹脂が固化してなる被加飾体と、成形された加飾フィルムと、を有する中間成形体を取り出す。
中間成形体は、成形によって三次元形状が付与された領域の周囲に、バリ等の不要な部分を有する。このため、中間成形体からバリ等の不要な部分を取り除く仕上げ加工を行うことが好ましい。
(立体成形)
以下、加飾フィルムを成形する工程の一例として、立体成形について説明する。

立体成形においては、加飾フィルムと被加飾体とを貼り合わせることで、加飾フィルムの成形を行うことができる。
立体成形としては、例えば、熱成形、真空成形、圧空成形、真空圧空成形等が挙げられる。立体成形としては、真空下で加熱した状態で行う方法が好ましい。立体成形により、被加飾体と加飾フィルムとを貼り合わせることができる。ここで、真空とは、室内を真空引きし、100Pa以下の真空度とした状態を指す。
立体成形する際の温度は、被加飾体に応じて適宜選択することができる。立体成形における加熱温度は、60℃以上の温度域が好ましく、80℃以上の温度域がより好ましく、100℃以上の温度域がさらに好ましい。立体成形する際の温度の上限は、200℃が好ましい。ここで、立体成形する際の温度とは、立体成形に供される被加飾体の温度をいう。立体成形に供される被加飾体の温度は、熱電対を用いて測定することができる。
真空成形においては、成形分野で広く知られている真空成形技術を利用して行うことができ、例えば、日本製図器工業株式会社製のFormech508FSを用いて真空成形してもよい。
[硬化工程]
本開示に係る成形体の製造方法は、上記成形された加飾フィルムを硬化させる工程を含む。成形された加飾フィルムを硬化させる工程を有することで、成形体の強度等を向上させることができる。

成形された加飾フィルムを硬化させる方法としては、制限されず、公知の方法を適用することができる。成形された加飾フィルムを硬化させる方法としては、光又は熱を用いて加飾フィルムを硬化させる方法が好ましく、光を用いて加飾フィルムを硬化させる方法がより好ましい。
光を用いて加飾フィルムを硬化させる方法においては、加飾フィルムに光を照射(以下、「露光」ということがある。)することで加飾フィルムを硬化させることができる。加飾フィルムにおいて重合性化合物及び光重合開始剤を含む層は、光の照射によって硬化しやすい。
露光方法としては、例えば、特開2006-23696号公報の段落0035~0051に記載の方法を適用することができる。
露光の光源としては、目的とする波長域に応じて適宜選択すればよく、例えば、超高圧水銀灯、高圧水銀灯、メタルハライドランプ等が挙げられる。
露光量は、5mJ/cm2~2,000mJ/cm2であることが好ましく、10mJ/cm2~1,000mJ/cm2であることがより好ましい。
熱を用いて加飾フィルムを硬化させる方法における加熱温度及び加熱時間は、制限されず、使用される熱重合開始剤等に応じて適宜選択することができる。例えば、加熱温度は、60℃~200℃であることが好ましい。また、加熱時間は、5分間~2時間であることが好ましい。
加熱手段としては、制限されず、公知の加熱手段を適用することができる。加熱手段としては、例えば、ヒーター、オーブン、ホットプレート、赤外線ランプ、赤外線レーザー等が挙げられる。
以上の工程を経ることで成形体を得ることができる。得られる成形体は、被加飾体と、加飾フィルムの成形物である積層体と、を有する。
<被加飾体の加飾方法>
本開示に係る被加飾体の加飾方法は、上記加飾フィルムを成形する工程(以下、「成形工程」ということがある。)と、上記成形された加飾フィルムを硬化させる工程(以下、「硬化工程」ということがある。)と、を含む。本開示に係る被加飾体の加飾方法は、上記加飾フィルムを用いるため、被加飾体に対して、ぎらつき及び白み感が低減された色調と、耐チッピング性を発現する装飾を施すことができる。

以下、実施例により本開示を詳細に説明するが、本開示はこれらに制限されるものではない。なお、特に断りのない限り、「部」、「%」は質量基準である。
<アクリレート変性アクリル樹脂Aの合成>
メタクリル酸メチル75g及びメタクリル酸グリシジル88gを、メチルエチルケトン(MEK)溶媒中、ラジカル重合開始剤V-601(2,2’-アゾビス(イソ酪酸)ジメチル、富士フイルム和光純薬株式会社製)を用いて65℃にて3時間撹拌することで共重合させた。得られた共重合体50gを、テトラエチルアンモニウムクロリド存在下、19.2gのアクリル酸と反応させることでアクリレート変性アクリル樹脂Aを得た。
得られたアクリレート変性アクリル樹脂Aの数平均分子量は、120000であった。また、アクリレート変性アクリル樹脂Aのアクリレート官能量は30質量%であった。

<シリカ分散液Bの調製>
シーホスター(登録商標)KE-P250(粒子径2.5μm、株式会社日本触媒製)10g、エタノール60g、及び水30gを混合し、超音波分散機で20分間超音波を印加することで、シリカ分散液B(シリカ粒子の平均粒子径10μm)を得た。

[加飾フィルムの製造]
ポリカーボネート/アクリル樹脂複合基材(樹脂基材:テクノロイ(登録商標)S003、住化アクリル販売株式会社製、厚み75μm、A4サイズ、延伸率25%)上に、青色塗料(レアル、日本ペイント株式会社製)を塗布し、100℃で2分間乾燥することで青色の着色層(以下、「青色層」ということがある。)を形成した。着色層の厚みは10μmであった。
次に、青色層の上に、金属粒子層形成用塗布液Aを塗布し、露光工程を行い、硬化膜(厚み:3μm)を形成した。露光工程では、光露光装置(窒素パージUV照射機、株式会社GSユアサ製、メタルハライドランプ、出力120W/cm)を用いて光(積算露光量1,100mJ/cm2)を照射し、硬化させた。
次に、ポリカーボネート/アクリル樹脂複合基材の着色層及び金属粒子層を有する側とは反対側の面に、保護層形成用塗布液Aを塗布し、120℃で5分間乾燥することで保護層を形成した。保護層の厚みは12μmであった。
次に、樹脂基材の保護層を有する側とは反対側の面、すなわち金属粒子層の表面に、粘着層(G25、厚み25μm、日栄加工株式会社製)を貼り合わせた。
以上の手順により、加飾フィルム1を得た。
ポリカーボネート/アクリル樹脂複合基材(樹脂基材:テクノロイ(登録商標)S003、住化アクリル販売株式会社製、厚み75μm、A4サイズ、延伸率25%)上に、青色塗料(レアル、日本ペイント株式会社製)を塗布し、100℃で2分間乾燥することで青色の着色層(以下、「青色層」ということがある。)を形成した。着色層の厚みは10μmであった。
次に、青色層の上に、金属粒子層形成用塗布液Aを塗布し、露光工程を行い、硬化膜(厚み:3μm)を形成した。露光工程では、光露光装置(窒素パージUV照射機、株式会社GSユアサ製、メタルハライドランプ、出力120W/cm)を用いて光(積算露光量1,100mJ/cm2)を照射し、硬化させた。
次に、ポリカーボネート/アクリル樹脂複合基材の着色層及び金属粒子層を有する側とは反対側の面に、保護層形成用塗布液Aを塗布し、120℃で5分間乾燥することで保護層を形成した。保護層の厚みは12μmであった。
次に、樹脂基材の保護層を有する側とは反対側の面、すなわち金属粒子層の表面に、粘着層(G25、厚み25μm、日栄加工株式会社製)を貼り合わせた。
以上の手順により、加飾フィルム1を得た。
[加飾フィルムの成形]
加飾フィルム1を、2軸延伸装置を用いて、縦方向及び横方向にそれぞれ1.73倍に延伸し、面積が3倍になるよう成形加工した。成形加工後の加飾フィルム1に対して、光露光装置(窒素パージUV照射機、株式会社GSユアサ製、メタルハライドランプ、出力120W/cm)を用いて光(積算露光量1,000mJ/cm2)を照射することで加飾フィルム1を硬化させ、加飾フィルム成形体1(積層体)を得た。
加飾フィルム1を、2軸延伸装置を用いて、縦方向及び横方向にそれぞれ1.73倍に延伸し、面積が3倍になるよう成形加工した。成形加工後の加飾フィルム1に対して、光露光装置(窒素パージUV照射機、株式会社GSユアサ製、メタルハライドランプ、出力120W/cm)を用いて光(積算露光量1,000mJ/cm2)を照射することで加飾フィルム1を硬化させ、加飾フィルム成形体1(積層体)を得た。
<実施例2>
実施例1において、粘着層の種類をP-EF11(厚み50μm、日東電工株式会社製)に変更したこと以外は、実施例1と同様の操作を行い、実施例2の加飾フィルム、及び加飾フィルム成形体を得た。

直射日光の下に、得られた加飾フィルム成形体及び比較サンプルを1m離れた場所からそれぞれ観察した。以下の基準に基づいて、加飾フィルム成形体の外観について評価した。比較サンプルとしては、PG80(ダークブルーメタリック、関西ペイント株式会社製)をスプレー塗布することによって形成した塗膜(厚み15μm)を用いた。
評価基準において、3であれば、加飾フィルムとして美しい外観を有すると評価する。
(基準)
3:比較サンプルに対し、ぎらつきが弱く、かつ、白みが弱い。
2:比較サンプルに対し、ぎらつきが同等以上、かつ、白みが弱い、又は、比較サンプルに対し、ぎらつきが弱く、かつ、白みが同等もしくは強い。
1:比較サンプルに対し、ぎらつきが同等以上、かつ、白みが強い。
-ぎらつき・白み-

加飾フィルムの保護層面の光輝性を、分光測色計(コニカミノルタ株式会社、CM-700D)を用い、測定した。D50光源使用時のSCI(正反射光含む)値から、SCE(正反射光除去)の値を差し引き、正反射率を算出し、高輝性を評価した。評価基準は以下の通りである。
評価基準において、3、4及び5であれば、加飾フィルムとして美しい外観を有すると評価する。
(基準)
5:正反射率が70%以上である。
4:正反射率が60%以上70%未満である。
3:正反射率が50%以上60%未満である。
2:正反射率が40%以上50%未満である。
1:正反射率が40%未満である。
加飾フィルムの保護層面の光輝性を、分光測色計(コニカミノルタ株式会社、CM-700D)を用い、測定した。D50光源使用時のSCI(正反射光含む)値から、SCE(正反射光除去)の値を差し引き、正反射率を算出し、高輝性を評価した。評価基準は以下の通りである。
評価基準において、3、4及び5であれば、加飾フィルムとして美しい外観を有すると評価する。

[チッピング耐性]
上記で得られた加飾フィルム成形体の一部から、長さ10cm、幅10cmの試験片を切り出した。得られた試験片に対して、グラベロメーター(スガ試験機株式会社製、JA-400S型)を用い、試験温度0℃の環境下、圧力0.3MPaで7号砕石100gを衝突させた。その後、試験片の表面を観察した。以下の基準に基づいて、加飾フィルム成形体のチッピング耐性について評価した。
評価において、3、4及び5であれば、加飾フィルム成形体として十分なチッピング耐性を有すると評価した。
(基準)
5:目視及び光学顕微鏡観察(倍率500倍)において、砕石が衝突した部分の周囲に広がった傷が観察されなかった(つまり、砕石が衝突した部分にのみ傷が観察された。)。
4:光学顕微鏡観察(倍率500倍)において、砕石が衝突した部分の周囲200μmの範囲まで広がった傷が観察された。ただし、目視では、砕石が衝突した部分の周囲に広がった傷は観察されなかった。
3:光学顕微鏡観察(倍率500倍)において、砕石が衝突した部分の周囲500μm以上の範囲に広がった傷が観察された。ただし、目視では、砕石が衝突した部分の周囲に広がった傷は観察されなかった。
2:目視において、劣化(例えば、クラック、剥離)が観察された。
1:目視において、著しい劣化(例えば、クラック、剥離)が観察された。

2:目視において、劣化(例えば、クラック、剥離)が観察された。
1:目視において、著しい劣化(例えば、クラック、剥離)が観察された。
表1~表2に示すように、実施例は、粒子を含有する保護層と、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層と、弾性率Eが105Pa~107Paである粘着層と、がこの順に積層されていることで、ぎらつき及び白み感が低減された色調を発現し、耐チッピング性に優れるものであった。
これに対し、保護層を設けていない比較例1では、ぎらつき及び白み感の抑制効果が少なく、しかも耐チッピング性に劣る結果となった。また、粘着層の弾性率が特定の範囲から外れる比較例2~3では、良好な耐チッピング性が得られなかった。粘着層を設けていない比較例4においては、耐チッピング性が著しく低下した。
これに対し、保護層を設けていない比較例1では、ぎらつき及び白み感の抑制効果が少なく、しかも耐チッピング性に劣る結果となった。また、粘着層の弾性率が特定の範囲から外れる比較例2~3では、良好な耐チッピング性が得られなかった。粘着層を設けていない比較例4においては、耐チッピング性が著しく低下した。

Claims (11)
- 粒子を含有する保護層と、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層と、前記平板状の金属粒子を含有する層の前記保護層を有する側と反対側に配置された粘着層と、を有し、前記粘着層の弾性率Eが105Pa~107Paである加飾フィルム。
- 前記平板状の金属粒子を含有する層と前記粒子を含有する保護層との間に、着色層を有する請求項1に記載の加飾フィルム。
- 25℃の延伸率が10%以上である樹脂基材を有する請求項1又は請求項2に記載の加飾フィルム。
- 前記保護層中の粒子の弾性率が、107Pa以上である請求項1~請求項3のいずれか1項に記載の加飾フィルム。
- 前記平板状の金属粒子が、蒸着アルミニウム粒子である請求項1~請求項4のいずれか1項に記載の加飾フィルム。
- 粒子を含有する保護層と、平板状の金属粒子を含有する層と、弾性率Eが105Pa~107Paである粘着層と、被加飾体と、をこの順に有する成形体。
