Abstract

L'invention concerne des profilés en mousse polymère, et un procédé pour leur réalisation, lesdits profilés en mousse polymère étant munis d'une décoration sur au moins deux de ses surfaces. Ledit procédé comprenant les étapes suivantes : (a) extrusion et moussage d'un profilé en mousse polymère, de préférence suivi d'un calibrage, et refroidissement du profilé en mousse polymère, (b) application d'une ou de plusieurs couches de primaire sur au moins deux surfaces à décorer et séchage de la ou des couches de primaire, (c) impression d'une décoration sur les au moins deux surfaces à décorer par jet d'encres de différentes couleurs afin d'obtenir plusieurs surfaces décorées, de préférence des encres réticulables par un rayonnement énergétique, l'étape comprenant dans ce cas la réticulation des encres imprimées par un rayonnement énergétique, de préférence par la lumière visible et/ou UV, et (d) application d'une ou de plusieurs couches de finition sur les au moins deux surfaces décorées et séchage de la ou des couches de finition, de préférence à l'aide d'un vernis transparent réticulable par un rayonnement énergétique comprenant, l'étape comprenant dans ce cas la réticulation du vernis transparent par un rayonnement énergétique, de préférence par la lumière visible et/ou UV, et séchage de la ou des couches de finition. Le procédé selon l'invention comprend en outre une étape d'embossage de au moins deux surfaces à décorer ou des au moins deux surfaces décorées à l'aide d'un outil d'embossage, de préférence à l'aide d'un rouleau comprenant un motif d'embossage en relief, en particulier un rouleau en métal, cette étape étant réalisé entre l'étape (a) et l'étape (b) et/ou entre l'étape (b) et l'étape (c) et/ou entre l'étape (c) et l'étape (d) et/ou après l'étape (d).
