Abstract
L'invention concerne un lien souple (10) pour une transmission de véhicule automobile réglable en particulier en continu. Le lien souple comprend une chaîne articulée (12) qui comporte un agencement (14) de pièces d'appui (16) orientées transversalement au sens de défilement du lien souple (10) et de plaques (18) disposées parallèlement au sens de défilement, les pièces d'appui (16) venant en prise dans des ouvertures (20) des plaques (18) et formant des articulations (24) au moyen desquelles les plaques (18) sont reliées de manière articulée, les plaques (18) pouvant être groupées en successions (26) de plaques (18) se suivant directement et chacune des successions de plaques (26) s'étendant autour d'un axe principal (28) de cette succession de plaques s'étendant perpendiculairement au sens de défilement (22), d'un flanc (30, 32) à l'autre de la chaîne articulée (12), et les plaques (18) de chacune des successions de plaques (26) étant disposées les unes derrière les autres dans respectivement deux ou trois rangées de plaques (P1, P2, P3) immédiatement adjacentes s'étendant parallèlement à l'axe principal (28) respectif de la succession de plaques (26). Selon l'invention, l'agencement des plaques (18) dans la succession de plaques (26) respective est asymétrique par rapport aux exigences d'une symétrie ponctuelle et aux exigences d'une symétrie axiale. L'invention concerne en outre une transmission réglable en continu pour un véhicule automobile, comprenant une première paire de poulies coniques, une deuxième paire de poulies coniques et un lien souple (10) de ce type, lequel est disposé dans le flux de couple entre la première paire de poulies coniques et la deuxième paire de poulies coniques.
