Definitions

  • the present invention relates to an internal combustion engine, and more particularly, to an internal combustion engine including a control unit that performs control for warming up the combustion chamber until the first ignition is performed.
  • Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 2009-299538 discloses an engine including a control device for performing control for warming up a combustion chamber until the first ignition is performed by motoring, and a variable valve timing mechanism.
  • the control device is configured such that the variable valve timing mechanism uniformly sets the timing for closing the intake valve to be more advanced than the reference timing (during normal operation) during motoring.
  • the engine compresses the intake air to increase the temperature in the cylinder by closing the intake valve early on the bottom dead center side and retaining a large amount of intake air in the cylinder.
  • the temperature in the cylinder increases, the atomization of the fuel is effectively performed, so that the exhaust gas immediately after the first explosion is reduced.
  • An advantage of some aspects of the invention is to perform appropriate control for reducing exhaust gas according to the environmental temperature of an internal combustion engine. It is to provide a possible internal combustion engine.
  • an internal combustion engine includes an internal combustion engine main body provided with an intake valve and an exhaust valve, and an internal combustion engine main body based on an environmental temperature at the start of starting of the internal combustion engine main body. Is controlled to drive the internal combustion engine main body at the set predetermined rotational speed during a period from the time when fuel is supplied to the combustion chamber of the internal combustion engine main body and the first ignition is performed by setting the rotational speed of the internal combustion engine main body to the predetermined rotational speed.
  • the rotation speed of the internal combustion engine main body is set to a predetermined rotation speed based on the environmental temperature at the start of the start of the internal combustion engine main body.

Abstract

Description

なお、回転数が低い程、エンジン1は、NV(Noise Vibration、騒音振動)を小さく抑えることが可能である。
