Definitions
- the present invention relates to insect pathogenic microbial pesticides and a method for producing the same, and more particularly, to a granular or powdered pesticide formulation containing an insect pathogenic microorganism and a method for producing the same.
- Plant diseases caused by pathogens such as insects are costly in plant-based agriculture and industry. Damages occurring both before and after harvest, loss of the plant itself or loss through growth and productivity can be large.
- Pesticides for controlling pests of crops are known to cause side effects such as pest resistance and environmental pollution during prolonged or overuse.
- pest control using microorganisms has been proposed as an alternative, and fungal pesticides registered for pest control around the world are 171 items, and are widely used in pest control such as moths, coleoptera, aphids, and flours.
- Three fungal pesticides are registered in Korea. When spraying insect pathogenic fungi on crops for pest control, high concentrations of spores are usually applied. Therefore, mass production of insecticidal fungal spores is a key issue that must be addressed first in developing fungal pesticides.
- Three methods two-phase fermentation of solid culture, liquid culture, liquid-solid culture
- insecticidal fungi are capable of spore production by liquid culture, spores produced in liquid culture are hydrophilic, and thus are not easily formulated in oil.
- Solid cultures using grains such as rice, barley, corn, bran, etc. as a medium have excellent mold viability and easy production of spores, but unnecessary insoluble medium ingredients that are not used as nutrients in the medium are all process steps. Also included is a problem that reduces the production efficiency and increases the production and distribution costs. Dispersion stability problems during hydration resulting from a large amount of insoluble materials, problems with passage of spray nozzles, etc.
- Korean Patent Registration No. No. 1.80033 million glucose (glucose), yeast extract (yeast extract), MgSO 4 .7H 2 O and K 2 were discloses a liquid medium composition for improved formation of spores baekganggyun (Beauveria bassiana) containing HPO 4, Korean Patent No. 1499692 discloses a method for producing fungal spores by culturing insect pathogenic fungi in a solid medium for natural zeolite ceramic ball carriers.
- the present inventors have made efforts to solve the above problems, as a result of inoculating insect pathogenic microorganisms into a porous carrier in which the medium is penetrated into the pores, and when the cultivation of the granular pesticide formulation with increased spores of insect pathogenic microorganisms It confirmed that it could manufacture and came to complete this invention.
- the present invention (a) a porous carrier; (b) a medium penetrated into pores of the porous carrier; And (c) an insect pathogenic microorganism cultured in the medium.
- the present invention also comprises the steps of (a) infiltrating the insect pathogenic microorganism culture medium into the pores of the porous carrier; And (b) inoculating an insect pathogenic microorganism into the porous carrier in which the medium has penetrated, and culturing the granular pesticide preparation.
- the porous carrier is characterized in that the porous ceramic ball or sponge.
- the porous ceramic ball is selected from the group consisting of zeolite ball, white clay ball, ocher ball, magnetite ball and diatomaceous earth ball.
- the sponge is characterized in that the foam rubber or urethane resin.
- the medium is characterized in that selected from the group consisting of whole milk powder, skim milk powder, whey, milk, flour, starch and grain flour.
- the insect pathogenic microorganism has a pesticidal activity against pests, characterized in that the fungi (fungi) to form spores.
- the present invention also provides a kit comprising (a) an insect pathogenic microorganism; (b) cellulose; And (c) provides a powdered pesticide formulation comprising a diatomaceous earth or zeolite.
- the powdered pesticide preparation 15 to 25% by weight of insect pathogenic microorganisms; 20-40% by weight of cellulose; Diatomaceous earth or zeolite is characterized in that it comprises 40 to 60% by weight.
- Insect pathogenic microbial pesticides according to the present invention has an excellent insecticidal effect because the number of spores of insect pathogenic microorganisms having insecticidal activity has been increased in large amounts compared to the conventional one.

- a powdered pesticide preparation including vermiculite, diatomaceous earth, and zeolite was prepared together with Isaria javanica Pf04 and Isaria fumosorosea FG340 and cellulose, which are insect pathogenic microorganisms.
- the powdered pesticide preparation prepared by using cellulose and diatomaceous earth or cellulose and zeolite together with insect pathogenic microorganisms had a greater number of spores of insect pathogenic microorganisms compared to millet which is a solid culture medium which is commonly used.
- the present invention provides in another aspect, (a) insect pathogenic microorganisms; (b) cellulose; And (c) diatomaceous earth or zeolite.
- the insect pathogenic microorganism can be used without limitation as long as it has insecticidal activity against pests, and it is preferable to use fungi that form spores.
- the cellulose can be used as the sole material of the powdered pesticide formulation, but the price is expensive, there is a problem that is aggregated over time. Therefore, although it is preferable to use together with a ceramic, a diatomaceous earth, a zeolite, etc. can be illustrated as said ceramic.
- the powdered pesticide preparation 15 to 25% by weight of insect pathogenic microorganisms; 20-40% by weight of cellulose; It may include 40 to 60% by weight of diatomaceous earth or zeolite. If the content of the insect pathogenic microorganisms, cellulose, diatomaceous earth or zeolite is out of the above range may cause a problem that spore formation is not made properly.
- battery powder is most suitable as a granular solid culture medium using zeolite balls.
- a whole milk powder medium was prepared according to the composition shown in Table 3, and then penetrated into the pores of zeolite balls by the same method, followed by inoculation and incubation of entomopathogenic microorganisms (Fig. 2).
- the number of cultured insect pathogenic microorganism spores was measured using a Hemocytometer, the results are shown in Table 4.
- Porous carrier in which the medium penetrates into the pores zeolite ball 0.5-2 mm, clay ball 3 mm, ocher ball 5 mm, magnetite ball 6 mm, diatomaceous earth ball 10 mm, clay ball 25 mm, sponge (polyurethane, Venus sponge) 10 10 ⁇ 20 mm
- Porous carrier in which the medium penetrates into the pores zeolite ball 0.5-2 mm, clay ball 3 mm, ocher ball 5 mm, magnetite ball 6 mm, diatomaceous earth ball 10 mm, clay ball 25 mm, sponge (polyurethane, Venus sponge) 10 10 ⁇ 20 mm
- the entomopathogenic microorganisms Isaria javanica Pf04 (KACC93122P) and Isaria fumosorosea FG340 (KACC93199P)
- Isaria javanica Pf04 KACC93122P
- Isaria fumosorosea FG340 KACC93199P
- zeolite balls, white clay balls, ocher balls, magnetite balls, diatomaceous earth balls, white clay balls and sponges are all on the surface of the strains of Isaria javanica Pf04 and Isaria fumosorosea. ) Spores of the FG340 strain were well formed.
- the spores of Beauveria bassiana and Metarhizium anisopliae are all on the surface of zeolite ball, white earth ball, ocher ball, magnetite ball, diatomaceous earth ball and white earth ball. It was well formed.
- the carrier does not have a medium component in the case of spray treatment, but if the medium component is directly infiltrated into the carrier (ceramic ball), it is inoculated evenly. Even if this is not possible because the bacteria grow by mycelia or spores can grow well evenly.
- the insect pathogenic microbial culture was mixed with cellulose, vermiculite, diatomaceous earth, and zeolite, respectively, to prepare a powdered pesticide preparation (FIG. 5), and the viable cell count and spore germination were observed at 54 ° C. for 4 weeks. Is shown in FIG. 6.
- insect pathogenic microorganisms include Isaria javanica Pf04 (KACC93122P) and Isaria fumosorosea FG340 (KACC93199P) in EC 1 medium (10g whole milk powder per 1L of water, 15g of peptone, 2.5 eggs) g, 1 g of yeast, 5 g of sodium chloride, 2.5 g of potassium phosphate) were used to incubate at 150 rpm at 28 ° C. for 5 days (1-10 ⁇ 10 8 cfu / ml).
- the P1 formulation was the most suitable.
- cellulose which is a material of P1
- the unit price may be high and agglomeration may occur when the formulation is old.
- cellulose and other powders may be mixed as shown in Table 6 to prepare a powdered pesticide preparation (FIG. 7), and then at 54 ° C. Viable cell counts and spore germination were observed for 4 weeks, and the results are shown in FIG. 8.
- Insect pathogenic microbial pesticides according to the present invention is industrially useful because it has an excellent insecticidal effect because the number of spores of insect pathogenic microorganisms having insecticidal activity has been increased in large amounts compared to the conventional one.
