유기 발광소자 (100, 200)는 기판위에 양극또는음극을 형성한후, 진공증착법 (evaporation),스퍼터링 (sputtering),플라즈마도금 및 이온도금과 같은 건식성막법 등으로유기층을 형성한후,그위에 음극또는 양극을 형성하여 제조할 수 있다.
상술한유기 발광소자는유기 발광표시 장치에 적용될 수 있다.
【발명의 실시를위한 형태】
이하실시예를통하여 상술한구현예를보다상세하게 설명한다. 다만 하기의 실시예는단지 설명의 목적을 위한 것이며 권ᅪ범위를체한하는 것은 아니다.
(제 1화합물의 제조)
합성예 1: 화합물 A-2의 합성

a)중간체 A-2-1의 합성
phenylhydrazinehydrochloride (70.0g, 484.1 mmol), 7-bromo-3,4-dihydro-2H- naphthalen-l-one (108.9g, 484.1 mmol)을환저플라스크에 넣고 에탄올 (1200ml)에 녹인다. 상온에서 염산 60 mL를 천천히 적가한후 90°C에서 12시간동안교반한다. 반응이 종료되면 용매를 감압하에서 제거한후과량의 표쇼로추출한다.유기용매를 감압하에 제거하고 소량의 메탄올 속에서 교반시킨 후 필터하여 중간체 A-2-1을 95.2g(66%)수득하였다.
b)중간체 A-2-2의 합성
중간체 A-2-1 (95.2g, 319.3 mmol), 2,3-dichloro-5,6-dicyano-l,4-benzoquinone (108.7g, 478.9 mmol)을환저플라스크에 넣고톨루엔 (600ml)에 녹인다. 80°C에서 12시간 동안교반한다. 반응이 종료되면 반응용매를 제거한후 컬럼크로마토그래피를 이용하여 중간체 A-2-2를 41.3g(44%)수득하였다.
c)중간체 A-2-3의 합성
중간체 A-2-2 (41.3g, 139.0 mmol), iodobenzene (199.2g, 976.0 mmol), Cul (5.3 lg, 28.0 mmol), K2CO3 (28.9g, 209.0 mmol), 1 , 10-phenanthroline (5.03g, 28.0 mmol)을
환저플라스크에 넣고 DMF(500ml)에 녹인다. 180°C에서 12시간동안교반한다.
반응이 종료되면 반응용매를 감압하에서 제거한후 디클로로메탄에 용해 후 실리카겔 여과한다. 디클로로메탄농축후 핵산으로 재결정하여 중간체 A-2-3를 39.0g(75%)수득하였다.
d)화합물 A-2의 합성
중간체 A-2-3 (23.2g, 62.5 mmol), bis-biphenyl-4-yl-amine (21. lg, 65.6 mmol),소둠 t-부톡사이드 (NaOiBu) (9.0 g, 93.8 mmol), Pd2(dba)3 (3.4 g, 3.7 mmol),트리 t-부틸포스핀 (P(ffiu)3) (4.5 g, 50% in톨루엔)를자일렌 (300 mL)에 넣고 질소 기류하에서 I2시간

(유기 발광소자의 제작)
실시예 1
ITO (Indium tin oxide)가 1500 A 두께로 박막코팅된 유리 기판을증류수 초음파로 세척하였다. 증류수세척이 끝나면 이소프로필 알코올, 아세톤, 메탄올 등의 용제로초음파세척을 하고 건조시킨 후플라즈마세정기로 이송 시킨 다음 산소플라즈마를 이용하여 상기 기판을 10분간세정 한후진공증착기로 기판을 이송하였다. 이렇게 준비된 ITO투명 전극을 양극으로사용하여 ITO기판상부에 화합물 A을진공증착하여 700A 두께의 정공주입층을 형성하고상기 주입층 상부에 화합물 B를 50A의 두께로증착한후,화합물 C를 700A의 두께로 증착하여 정공수송층을 형성하였다. 상기 정공수송층상부에 화합물 C-1을 400 A의 두께로 증착하여 정공수송보조층을 형성하였다. 정공수송보조층상부에 화합물 A-2 및 B- 31을동시에 호스트로사용하고도판트로 [Ir(piq)2acac] 2wt%로 도핑하여 진공 증착으로 400 A 두께의 발광층을 형성하였다. 여기서 화합물 A-2와화합물 B-31은 5:5중량비로사용되었으며, 하기 실시예의 경우 별도로 비율을기술하였다. 이어서 상기 발광층상부에 화합물 D와 Liq를 동시에 1 :1 비율로 진공 증착하여 300 A

표 1에 기재된 조성으로 변경한 것을 제외하고는,상기 실시예 1과동일한 방법으로유기발광소자를 제작하였다. 평가
실시예 1 내지 12와비교예 1 내지 3에 따른유기발광소자의 전력효율을 평가하였다.
구체적인 측정방법은 하기와같고,그 결과는 표 2와같다.
(1) 전압변화에 따른 전류밀도의 변화측정
제조된 유기발광소자에 대해, 전압을 0 부터 10 까지 상승시키면서 전류- 전압계 11 72400)를 이용하여 단위소자에 흐르는 전류값을측정하고,측정된 전류값을 면적으로 나누어 결과를 얻었다.
(2) 전압변화에 따른 휘도변화측정
제조된 유기발광소자에 대해, 전압을 10¥까지 상승시키면서 휘도계 (1 11(止& 03-1000시를 이용하여 그 때의 휘도를측정하여 결과를 얻었다.

(3) 전력효율즉정
상기 (1) 및 (2)로부터 측정된 휘도와 전류밀도 및 전압을 이용하여 동일 전류밀도 (10 111 0112)의 전력 효율 <1/쇼)을 계산하였다.
(4)수명 측정
휘도 선/1112)를 9000 0^1112로유지하고 전류 효율 (1/쇼)이 97%로 감소하는 시간을측정하여 결과를 얻었다.
(5)구동전압측정
