  • a plastic such as polyethylene or polypropylene (including pipes consisting substantially from one of the two or a mixture of these materials) because this increases the compatibility with said roof covering, and to connect this pipe to the roof covering by means of cross-linking.

  • Additives applied to the pipe can contribute to the cross-linking of these materials to the roof covering. These additives can here be aimed at creating functional end groups, which react with the oxygen in the roof covering during the actual cross-linking.
  • An example of such an additive can be based on a mixture of organic peroxides and maleic anhydride, although other additives which are known to the skilled person can equally well be envisaged as additive.
  • Heating the pipe, or at least the part thereof which will be connected to the roof covering, to a temperature above the melting temperature (or at least to the plastic phase) will enable it to be connected to the roof covering in easier and more stable manner.

Abstract

L'invention concerne un procédé de raccordement d'un tuyau en plastique, tel qu'un tuyau en polyéthylène ou en polypropylène, et une couverture comprenant une matière plastique telle que du polypropylène atactique (APP) ou du poly(styrène butadiène styrène) (SBS), comprenant les étapes suivantes:-l'utilisation d'un tuyau en plastique, tel qu'un tuyau en polyéthylène ou en polypropylène;-la fourniture d'une couverture comprenant une matière plastique telle que du polypropylène atactique (APP) ou du poly(styrène butadiène styrène) (SBS), tel que du bitume modifié par du polypropylène atactique ou du poly (styrène butadiène styrène); le placement de la couverture contre le tuyau en plastique; et la réticulation du tuyau en plastique au plastique dans la couverture. L'invention concerne en outre une combinaison d'un tuyau en plastique, tel qu'un tuyau en polyéthylène ou en polypropylène, et une couverture comprenant une matière plastique telle que du polypropylène atactique (APP) ou du poly (styrène butadiène styrène) (SBS), le tuyau en plastique étant relié à la couverture par réticulation, pouvant être obtenu selon le procédé.
